It could be interesting to start a AU in which either Cloud goes back and "prevents" the two "scientists" from getting their degree... or, he somehow teaches them the right way to doing things.

Its a bit similar but takes place after Modeoheim so sadly no Angeal or genesis (yet) but it's full of Sephiroth who wants to break Cloud and slowly changes his mind somewhat

Anyway, I have seen this, though I haven’t read it. It’s one of those things where if I’m not in control of that kind of story it distresses more than entertains me? Though, to be fair to my own hurty-ouch writing, even in 7C9S Sephiroth never wanted to break Cloud as much as he wanted him to yield voluntarily and was willing to be a dick about it.

Aimée-san, just checked your tumblr yesterday and I'm pretty sure this au wasn't here. And I love it. Like, Professor Strife, with tons of emotional baggage and trauma with lab, went back in time to teach the owner of the lab itself? Priceless. Where and when did this one born? (I'm sorry for my bad English)

Correct, the AU was born so quickly it dizzied even me. Also I love how you put the correct accent in my name 🥺 usually even I’m too lazy to do it.

It was born from Savanir’s absolutely ancient ask that I wrote a script for and then took several months to actually draw out. Naturally, the server and She-Sees encouraged my insanity and now we have another AU so fleshed out that I’m fighting the impulse to do a one-shot for it. Cloud decided to get to all these scientists when they were most susceptible to learning good lab procedures and I find that very entertaining.
