It’s also responsible for a wide range of functions, including to help regulate body temperature, enhance digestion and increase nutrient absorption. Water detoxifies your entire system by assisting in the removal of waste in the form of sweat, urine and even through your breath. It's National Healthy Skin Month & infrared rays have the unique ability to penetrate deeply into both the epidermal & dermal layers of the skin.
As a result, your core body temperature will rise, forcing the body to circulate blood close to the skin surface in an effort to cool itself down. It is this combination of blood circulation and perspiration that provides the foundation for healthier, radiant skin. When the body begins to circulate blood to cool itself, it carries away harmful toxins and impurities residing within the bloodstream, which are then expelled through the enlarged pores in the skin surface. Increased blood flow also delivers fresh nutrients to the skin surface, and stimulates collagen production, reducing the look of fine-lines and wrinkles.
Sweating that comes from sauna therapy has been shown to remove unwanted chemicals from your body by encouraging the pores in your skin to open up, expelling waste and toxins. Infrared saunas stimulate the body’s sweat glands, penetrating below the skin at a molecular level, promoting the release of a variety of harmful substances found in our cells.
