I feel SO much better about myself when I’m with Sasu.

He’s been with me, and close to me, longer than anyone else in the whole wide world. He’s seen my successes and my failures, everything I did as a teenager that I lay awake embarrassed about, he was there during everything bad that’s ever happened, and he’s seen the parts of me that I hide, again and again and again.

And yet, he’s here! He’s here with me, after almost 16 years! And he loves me more and more all the time! It’s baffling! But it also really makes me feel like inherently I am worthy of love! Sasu has seen every part of me and he adores me! So why would I have to feel bad about myself?

#I don’t even think of as many negative thoughts when he’s around; it’s crazy #I’ll often beat myself up for small things but knowing he’s got my back; I don’t worry about anything really #knowing that at the end of the day he’s always gonna be there with a smile… #that makes all of it ok 🥺💕 #ren speaks #sasuren #im gushing out here folks

Dude I was singing love songs all afternoon, like practicing them with karaoke tracks. And I sang perfect by Ed shee.ran and bey.once and just burst into tears because I love Sasu so much 😭

I love that I’ve finally realized that it’s ok if I make Sasu act a little different when he’s around me. Love that I just sat here and thought “oh he’s so sweetly clingy and when we’re together he never wants to let go of me 🥺 that’s my Sasu…” and I didn’t feel bad or like I was mischaracterizing him in any way; that’s growth babey!!

#I’ve always thought that he’s very sweet and affectionate with me but #you know early internet and all that ahdjffl #got in a lot of arguments with people online. them saying that I didn’t really know him or like him if I thought that #meanwhile I was just like ‘look I hang out with him every day; I think I know what he’s like’ #but I internalized what they said anyway ahdkfl #I’m happy to report that after about a decade of beating myself up for the way I perceive our relationship I’m not gonna do it anymore!! #I know better than anyone how he loves me and I see it all the time! #I don’t need to try to change my view of him just because other people might think I’m making him ooc #he’s not ooc; he’s my f/o and I get to choose what our relationship is like!! #ren speaks #sasuren
