Two LPU MCA Students Made a Government Scheme Alert App!

Good things indeed take time. And, the lockdown has undoubtedly served the purpose well for the LPU geeks, as they have got plenty of time to explore and master the skills learned by them in the university curriculum. The Vertos being at home developed many applications of various genres and hosted them on the Google play store. And this time, the application developed by two of our #ProudVertos has gained massive popularity in PAN India.

Usually, people tend to miss the notifications of the Government schemes and alerts that could be beneficial for them and their society. PMJDY or Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojna is the government policy for the needy and poor people with the National Mission for Financial Inclusion. PM Narendra Modi announced this one on 15th August, 2014. This plan promises an insurance cover of around one lakh for accidents and rupees 30,000 for the life insurance cover. The cash can be transferred to all the accounts throughout India. Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY)

PMJJBY is open to people aged 18 to 50 years who have a bank account that consents to join/enable the auto-debit. Aadhar card will be the needed document for the KYC of your banks’ account. The term of Rs. 2 lakhs is renewable for one year from 1st June to 31st May. The Life Insurance Company introduces the policy to all other life insurers that can sell the plan  on comparable terms with the requisite permissions and connect it to the banks. The life cover of rupees 2 lakhs is very much available at only rupees 330 per year.

Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY)

The Narendra Modi Government initiated the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana scheme in 2015 to promote micro-credit for small-scale enterprises up to 10 Lakh. Within this program, MUDRA, a branch of SIDBI, offers economic help to mediators such as the Small Finance Banks, Commercial Banks, RRBs, MFIs, and NBFCs for loans to the non-farm small/micro-enterprises and non-corporate. अगर आपने किसान क्रेडिट कार्ड (KCC) बनवा रखा है तो आज ही इस पर बकाया लोन चुका दें। अगर KCC धारकों ने 31 अगस्त तक पैसे नहीं लौटाए तो उन्हें 4 की जगह 7 फीसदी ब्याज देना पड़ेगा। इसीलिए ब्याज की मार से बचने के लिए आज ही अपना बकाया कर्ज चुका दें।

2 बार बढ़ चुकी है कर्ज वापसी की आखिरी तारीख वैसे KCC पर लिया गया लोन 31 मार्च तक चुकाना होता है। लेकिन सरकार ने लॉकडाउन को देखते हुए इसे 31 मार्च से बढ़ाकर पहले 31 मई किया था। बाद में इसे और बढ़ाकर 31 अगस्त तक कर दिया गया। इसका मतलब यह है कि किसान KCC कार्ड के ब्याज को सिर्फ 4 फीसदी सालाना के पुराने रेट पर 31 अगस्त तक भुगतान कर सकते हैं।

कितना देना होगा ब्याज? खेती-किसानी के लिए ब्याज दर वैसे तो 9 फीसदी है। लेकिन सरकार इसमें 2 प्रतिशत की सब्सिडी देती है। इस तरह यह 7 फीसदी पड़ता है। लेकिन समय पर लौटा देने पर 3 फीसदी और छूट मिल जाती है। इस तरह किसानों के लिए ब्याज दर 4 फीसदी रह जाती है।

क्‍या है किसान क्रेडिट कार्ड? किसान क्रेडिट कार्ड बैंक जारी करते हैं। KCC केंद्र सरकार की योजना है, जिसे साल 1998 में शुरू किया गया था। इस KCC की शुरुआत नाबार्ड और रिजर्व बैंक ऑफ इंडिया ने मिलकर की थी। फिलहाल देश के करीब 7 करोड़ किसानों के पास किसान कार्ड है। इस किसान कार्ड के जरिए किसानों को एक डेबिट कार���ड दिया जाता है, जिसकी मदद से वो अपनी जरूरत के मुताबिक अपने खाते से पैसे निकाल सकते हैं।

इसके तहत मिलता है 5 लाख रुपए तक का लोन इसके जरिए किसान 5 लाख रुपए तक का लोन ले सकते हैं। इस योजना को शुरू करने का मकसद किसानों को खेती से जुड़ी चीजों जैसे-खाद, बीज, कीटनाशक इत्यादि की खरीद करने के लिए लिए कर्ज उपलब्ध कराना है। KCC की सुविधा पशुपालन और मछलीपालन के लिए भी उपलब्ध कराई जाती है।

आसान है KCC बनवाना आप किसी भी बैंक से अपना KCC बनवा सकते हैं इसके लिए सिर्फ 3 डॉक्यूमेंट ही लिए जाएंगे। पहला यह कि जो व्यक्ति अप्लीकेशन दे रहा है वो किसान है या नहीं इसका प्रमाण। इसके लिए बैंक उसके खेती के कागजात देखें और उसकी कॉपी लें। दूसरा निवास प्रमाण पत्र और तीसरा आवेदक का शपथ पत्र कि उसका किसी और बैंक में लोन तो बकाया नहीं है। सरकार ने बैंकों को निर्देश दिए हैं कि आवेदन के 15वें दिन तक यानी दो सप्ताह के अंदर KCC बन जाए।
