ain’t it just fucking hilarious to you that bisexuals will provide source after source after source, both well-known and reliable, always well-written, always providing good logical reason, very often historical even, and that’s not ever enough to convince the rest of the modern lgbt community that we have always had access to “lesbian-only” culture like butch/femme, reclaiming dyke, hell even calling ourselves lesbians too (which i personally think is actually lesbophobic and am rightfully against, but generally speaking yk), etc.?? and YET, on the other hand, lesbians will tell you bisexual women are greedy homophobic cultural-appropriators who have no right to even dream of comparing their experiences to that of lesbians’ because.......... their sources are themselves. because they said so. because you wouldn’t dare tell a LESBIAN on TWITTER....... “NO, you’re wrong actually (and here’s why)”?!?!?! and everyone just buys it as the total truth. i’m angry about this, and i’m right to be. how dare you completely erase our history and experiences and refuse to listen to us (see: lesbian separatism movement), then call us privileged and act like we’re more so than cishets?? that is just purposeful ignorance and if you’re allowed to be justifiably angry at lesbophobia coming from bisexuals, then i’m allowed to be justifiably angry at biphobia coming from lesbians. it’s that simple. do not tell me otherwise and that i have no right because i’m fucking tired of us being treated as a lower-class compared to “actual” lesbians (i.e. the derogatory term “halfbians”) and less deserving of culture and resources. you don’t want to hear it but this time my feelings will matter and yours won’t, how about it?!
