"nick, i need to finish getting ready," you tell him frustratedly. "i still need to do my makeup."

"you look pretty without it," he said with a smile, causing you to glare at him. "if it bothers you that much, do your makeup here. chat wants to talk to you!"

you roll your eyes and sigh, "I'll be right back."

bf!sapnap who pauses every once in a while to look over at you right as you move onto your next step.

"what are you doing now?"

"setting my under-eyes."

"hmm..."

bf!sapnap who cant help but sneak in a few kisses every other step. you just look too pretty to not kiss.

bf!sapnap who ignores the people in his chat calling him a simp.

bf!sapnap who loves when you ask him how you look during certain steps of your process.

"how do i look?" you asked, fluttering your eyelashes playfully. they were coated in a light coloured eyeshadow. they look almost invisible, and its even weirder with your unfinished eyeshadow.

your boyfriend looked at you kindly and smiled softly at you, "perfect."

bf!sapnap who gets shy when you find people tagging you on twitter with clips from the stream after dinner.

"awww," you coo, finding more videos. "its like you love me or something," you smile at him cheekily.

"or something," he grumbles, turning on his indicator and merging lanes. he glances over at you, seeing how you smile everytime a new clip comes up.

when you look at him, he's already looked back on the road. but you notice how his face had turned red. so you leaned over the center console and gave him a loud smooch on his cheek.

he blushed harder and couldnt hide the smile on his face.

"i love you too, nick, dont worry."

helps you dry off out of the shower and adds product to your hair to protect it, also offers to braid it if it's long enough

insists you wear his clothes, even if you're going out

usually you'll sit on the edge of the bed and he'll offer you choices, so you get to pick clothes for the both of you

sends you to get snacks while he cleans up the bed, or the floor, or the sofa

random forehead kisses for the rest of the day !! do you know why he does it? no. are you complaining? no.

”you know if you keep this up i might just have to drag you back to bed.” you coo as his hands leave your hips after pressing a soft kiss to your forehead. he stops in his tracks and turns back to you. ”don't say that.” ”why not?” ”because i will take you right here.”

also if he was particularly rough he takes you to target or walmart to buy a new little trinket

Pairing: Southern!Sapnap x reader

A/N: I found this fic that I wrote 3 months ago just sitting within my other docs. And it was southern!sapnap so i just had to put it out. It was just in time for Southern Saturday after all. southern!sapnap has my whole entire heart fr <333 anyways, hope you enjoy :D

It’d been getting lonely without him. And hot as hell. Even at 10pm, it had barely calmed down, now only at an uncomfortably warm level.

I missed him pulling up in his big ol’ pickup truck, just to drive us out to the river again. I missed his sweet southern charm, his even sweeter nicknames.

What I wouldn’t give for him to pull up to our apartment and whisk me away. Greet me with a “Hey darlin’” or a “Hey there sweetheart.”. I’d follow him to the ends of the Earth if it meant I got to see his sweeter than honey smile and hear his endless slew of cheesy nicknames said in a way that I can only describe that was just so Sapnap.

I miss the days we would spend all day down at the river. Drinking, laughing, messing around. Just… being. Being together. Those days would almost always end in tangled limbs and soft giggles, exploring each other's bodies as if it were the first time. Before that dissolved into soft gazes and warm cuddles. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.

I gazed over at the calendar, a grin overtaking my features. Only a week left till summer break. Till I see him again. My attention was stolen once more by my phone as it rang out, my smile only growing.

“Hey darlin’.”

“Hey yourself, baby.”

“Miss me?”

“Like crazy.” I breathed out, running a hand through my hair, even if I could hear him, it still twisted my heart that I couldn’t see him just yet.

“Aw, ’missed you too, sweetheart. But I think I know somethin’ that’ll help us both.”

“Really? What is it?” I started suspiciously. I would take whatever he offered, but nothing would beat him being here with me. I narrowed my eyes at the window as a loud honk rang out from outside, or was it coming from Sapnap's end? Wait what?

“Why don’t you take a look outside sugar?”

“..Sapnap, did you really?” I made my way to the window.

“I sure did, now ‘urry up and get out here, I don’t think I could wait any longer tuh see you, baby.”

I didn’t bother hanging up, stuffing my phone into my hoodie pocket and running outside. My bare feet hit the warm concrete as I ran towards him. We wore matching grins as I ran into his arms and hugged him like my life depended on it.

He picked me up and held me just as tight, hands going to hold my thighs and lips pressing anywhere they would reach.

“Why didn’t you tell me you were comin’ home early?” I pulled my face back to look at his. I cupped his face and pressed kisses all over his face.

That damn laugh. It was more accurately described as a giddy little giggle, like a kid who was damn near bursting at the seams to tell you a secret.

“‘Was a surprise. Wanted to see your reaction.” He beamed up at me.

“Well, were you happy with what you saw?”

“More than happy, sugar.” He looked up at me with an adorable smile.

So adorable that I couldn’t stop myself from leaning in and pressing a soft kiss to his lips. It had gone too long since I’d been able to do that so I was definitely going to make up for it for the rest of the summer.

Unfortunately I was forced to pull away when the lack of air became too strong, but that only made me feel even more like I was floating on cloud nine. I leaned my forehead against his, gazing at his goofy grin, identical to my own. I traced along his browline, all the way down to the apples of his cheeks.

“I missed you.”

“Me too darlin’. Don’t worry though, m’all yours fur the rest of the summer.”

“I can’t wait.”

"you suck." sapnap insulted from behind you as you tried to balance yourself on the moving board from under your feet.

you scoffed as you rolled your eyes at his insult, "you know, maybe instead of harassing me about it, you could try and help me."

he chuckled, "aren't you the independent one?" he said as he leaned against the concrete wall of skate park, his arms crossed over his chest.

"wow. what a date." you joked, and carefully set your foot on the ground to help the skateboard come to a halt before you bent down and picked it up, keeping it hooked under your arm.

sap walked up to you and wrapped his arms around you, your back in contact with his chest. he kissed behind your ear softly, "c'mon, you know i'm joking, baby." he whispered before settling his head on your shoulder.

you laid your free arm around his own, leaning your head back on his chest and inhaling his sweet cologne.

"so, do you wanna help me practice or not?" you whispered.

he hummed, "of course, sugar."

he let go of your body, as you dropped the board back down on the concrete.

you stepped onto the board, sapnaps hands finding and holding your hips.

"okay... so just move your feet on the board, like this." he instructed as he bent down to gently grab your ankle, helping you twist your foot to where it wasn't pointing to the front of the board. "this is how you want to stand when you move, okay?"

you hummed and nodded in acknowledgement.

"good. so now, move your foot to where you had it, and then push off with your other one." he instructed, and you listened.

"good!" he said, sprinting by your side as you moved. "okay, okay. now stop real quick."

again, you came to a halt.

"now this time when you move you wanna twist your feet to the side like how i showed you."

so you moved. you pushed off with one of you feet, the other one twisted at the front while you picked up the other one from the ground, resting it in the same position as the other one.

time passed by fast, you and sapnap laughing every time you messed up when he was helping you practice.

the sun had set in and you both were propped up on top of a hill, right by the skate park. sap walked up to you and bent down, resting right beside you, legs crossed over each other.

"thanks for the date today, sap."

he smiled and pulled you close. "no problem, darl'"

you leaned your head onto his broad shoulder as you both just waited for the darkness of the night to consume you both.

sap turned his head to place a kiss your scalp softly, and you nuzzled closer to him as he did so.

"i love you." he said as he rested his head on yours.

"i love you too, sap."

"you still suck though." he insulted once more.

"i swear, i will beat your ass." you laughed.

Literally cradle you, wrapping his arms and legs around you like one of those hair claws practically trapping you in his grasp with his head tucked in your neck. He’d lay his head in your chest with his torso on your thighs and his hands cuddling your waist. If you tried to pull away he’d squeeze you to him groaning into your chest “nononononono—stay please” he’d low key just trap you by switching the position between you two where your head is in his chest and your torso is on his thighs. Eventually he’d let you go but he’d follow you around everywhere.

His knees bent up between your stomach his head above yours and your head in his chest and your knees cradled up next to his, his arms around the small of your back and your hands closing the gap between you two by holding onto his chest. bf!sapnap was minding his business when someone suggested him reacting to edits like george did.

"watch edits?" he asked once he read the chat. he waited as more chats started flooding in, incouraging the idea. he reached for his water bottle and shrugged as he took a gulp. "which ones?"

bf!sapnap started by watching edits of his friends. mostly of dream and george. and ship edits of those two.

bf!sapnap who just ended up tweeting out "reply with edits you want me to react to" and scrolling through the submissions. he was too lazy to look for good ones.

bf!sapnap who finds one, thinking it's of him. it starts off as a clip from a past stream, you're standing next to him in short shorts and a hoodie. and he remembers the moment clearly.

your boyfriend was talking to his chat blandly as you lightly knocked on his door. you didn't wait for a response and opened it slightly. you peeked your head through, cautiously. he looked over at you silently. he nodded inquisitively as you stepped in slowly.

"sorry..." you said, stepping forward to peak at his monitors. he checked you out as you got closer, leaning back in his chair and arms behind his head. "you didn't respond to my text, about dinner" you whispered, trying to stay out of frame.

"oh, shit, sorry. my phones over there," he said, nodding towards the farthest end of his desk. "can you hand it to me?"

you reached for his phone and brought it over to him. you looked at his screens again, and he wrapped his arm around your hip as he opened his messages.

you stood there awkwardly, looking at his chat. you waved when you realized they were spamming your name. you paused when you felt your boyfriend start lightly squeezing your hip.

you felt your phone buzz in the front pocket of your hoodie as he set his phone down on this desk. "okay, there you go, mamas," he said, reaching his hand down to lightly tap your ass.

you looked at him with wide eyes as you shoved him playfully. "thats enough, sir," you said, trying to hide your embarrasment with a laugh.

when you're shopping for snacks for a movie night..

you walk in front of your boyfriend, pacing faster than him. he's got a basket in hand currently filled with ice cream and energy drinks and sodas and your favourite candies. also popcorn, of course, it's movie night after all.

you stop in front of the cookies section, eyes scanning the shelves up and down. sapnap stops just behind you and sets the basket down on the ground. ”you know, the originals are always the best.” you smile at his words. ”yeah but, sometimes..” you reach for a different flavour of your favourite cookie brand. ”sometimes i crave something a little different.”

when you're getting ready to leave for a walk..

the weather had turned, but sapnap was still determined to get out of the house with you, even if it was just for a short walk outside.

you checked your phone after you'd gotten your shoes on while your boyfriend reached for a jacket.

”babe, bring an extra jacket, it's cold outside.” he looked at you and tilted his head, before reaching for another jacket. ”okay, mom.” you let your jaw fall slack at his words and you let out a gasp. ”i hope the cold air makes you horribly sick.” sap burst out laughing as he turned the door handle, motioning you out ahead of him.

when you're both sick..

despite the fact that both you and your boyfriend felt like shit, you still insisted on taking care of everything. the only help you accepted from dream or george was socialisation and taking things to sapnap from where ever you'd prepared them.

this time, neither of sapnap's roommates were home and it was your job to bring him soup. the steam rising from the bowl made you sniffle, your sinuses weren't clearing up and after all the vix you'd used you really hoped they would've cleared. ”you know you don't have to do this f'me, right?” he hesitantly takes the bowl from you and sets it in his lap, phone tossed to the side.

”yeah i know, but i enjoy helping you.” you give him a lopsided smile, and you start to feel an oncoming sneeze so you turn away, face in your arm. achoo! the warmth of your boyfriend's hand on your back makes you turn back to him, face dusted pink all over, a sign of your cold. ”i don't deserve you peach.”

”yes you do, now eat the soup, i'm going to run a bath for myself, you're welcome to join when you're done sicky.” he smiles at you, and then he runs into a coughing fit. ”i'll grab you cough drops and make more tea first.”

when you first tried cooking in his home..

sapnap figured it was just clay cooking at first, so he didn't get up from his spot in his bed. he knew you were over, but you'd only told him you were hungry and then you got up. when he looked up from his phone to see clay standing in the doorway, he was surprised. ”what are you making?” he'd asked before clay could say anything. ”what? i'm not cooking anything.”

”then who's–” clay shrugged, and the together the pair left his room, heading for the kitchen. it would've been strange for george to be cooking. he never cooked.

the only thing stranger than seeing george cooking was the sight before your boyfriend and his roommate. you were humming along to some random tune, kind of swaying around the kitchen as you moved, mixing ingredients into bowls and moving things into the sink and the oven. ”hey peach. what're you doin'?” you froze in your tracks. you turned to look at sap and clay. ”uh, just thought i'd make a little somethin'.” you sounded so nonchalant but the mess around you was anything but. ”y/n uh-” clay scratched at the back of his neck. ”darlin' this doesn't look like a little something.” you looked around the kitchen and laughed. ”i guess you're right.”

You were excited. Rightfully so. You were back in Texas, visiting Sapnap for summer break. College had been kicking your ass, so to say being within arms length of your boyfriend was comforting was an understatement.

The two of you were excited to spend the summer together, spending your first few nights together laying in bed, planning everything you’d do.

One of your plans was to attend more parties. Sapnap’s teammates are known for their raging parties, and in the past you and Sapnap had preferred to do other things, though you did attend on occasion. This summer, however, you wanted to make the most of it and the two of you happened to agree that the best way was through these parties.

Now this was not at all what you pictured.

You were gently bopping to the music that was blaring as you stood outside. You were off to the sidelines, spectating a beer pong match currently going on between Sapnap and his teammate. Nursing the beer in your hands, you began to regret not wearing more layers. Oh well, at least you looked hot as hell even if you were freezing your ass off. Maybe I should keep drinking to warm up. However before you could take another sip, a voice rang through your ears. Way closer than you would’ve liked.

“Hey there, pretty little thing. How’re you doin’ tonight?” The man’s breath fanned over your cheek, causing your nose to wrinkle.

“Fine.” You replied curtly, taking a step away.

“Well I know a few things that could make your night from fine to fantastic.” His eyes raked down your body, either too drunk to take the hint, or blatantly ignoring it.

“Oh yeah? Like what, leaving me alone?” You gave a sarcastic smile, rolling your eyes and folding your arms across your chest.

“Ooh, feisty. I like it,” He smirks, “But as much as I like the attitude, sweetheart, I’d like to fuck it out of you even more.” His hand reaches for your waist, tugging you flush against his body, knocking your drink to the floor in the process.

Your heart rate quickly elevated, eyes darting around looking for Sapnap, quickly locking eyes with your pissed looking boyfriend.

Sapnap slammed down his cup with a laugh and a hiccup, eyes automatically wandering back over to you, eager to see your reaction to how fast he chugged his cup. Instead, he was met by you pressed up against this random guy, looking as uncomfortable as ever, which quickly made his blood boil.

You always liked to think of Sapnap as a bull. He shared lots of characteristics with the animal, not to mention his short, bulky frame. But it was times like these you could really see it. Like as you watched as he pried the drunkard off of you and his fist collided with the guy’s cheek.

The man fell to the floor but quickly staggered back onto his feet, immediately turning to Sapnap. “What the fuck is your problem, man?” He yelled, swaying as he tried to remain upright.

“What’s my problem? You need to learn how to take a fuckin’ hint.” The brunette spat, southern drawl thick from the alcohol, grabbing your hand for comfort. “Even better, learn to take no as an answer. Try to get it through your thick fuckin’ skull next time and leave my girl alone.”

He tugs you away, back inside the bustling house and into one of the unoccupied rooms, away from everyone else. He makes quick work of his jacket, settling it over your shoulders, wanting to warm you up after feeling your cold skin. “Are you okay, darlin’? He didn’t hurt ya, did he? Sorry I didn’t step in sooner, wish I’d noticed earlier-”

His slightly slurred ramblings were cut off by a small kiss. “I’m fine, Sap. A little grossed out, but fine. It didn’t go further than that which is all that matters. You stepped in and prevented that, so thank you.” You smiled reassuringly to which he eagerly returned.

“You’re welcome… was just worried somethin’ had happened.” He murmured, leaning into your touch as your hand came up and cradled his cheek. His hand wrapped around your waist pulling you into a hug and nuzzling his face in your neck. “Can we go home?”

You smiled as you hugged him and ran your fingers through his hair. You knew he wasn’t asking for himself, and the thought of how caring and thoughtful he was even when he was drunk filled you with giddy. “Of course we can, sweetheart. Spend the rest of the night, cuddlin’, yeah?”

“Yeah..” He mumbled in response, nodding his head as he let you lead him back out of the house towards his car. As you were digging in your bag for the keys, two of his teammates came jogging over to you.

“There you guys are. We were looking for you.” The blonde one said, sending you two a smile.

“Yeah, we wanted to see if you were okay and let you know we took care of the guy and sent him on his way with a friend of his who was sober.” The other informed you both, hands stuffed in his pockets.

“What he did wasn’t cool and we hope it doesn’t deter you from coming to another party sometime in the future. We swear they aren’t all like this and we try to handle people like that as soon as we can.” The blonde reassured with a sincere and polite smile.

You smiled in relief at the boys’ kindness. “Thanks, and I’m totally fine. Although I’m lucky Sap here stepped in when he did.” You patted his arm as he chuckled, his arm around you giving you a light squeeze. “And I can promise you we’ll still come to parties in the future.”

The two beamed, high fiving one another.

“Yeah, otherwise how’ll we finish our beer pong match? I was totally kicking your ass.” Sapnap smirked, causing the blonde to scoff.

“Yeah right, that’s why you’re drunk right now?” He retorted, earning a laugh from their other teammate.

“M’not drunk.” Sapnap huffs indignantly, earning a giggle from you as well.

“Alright, we should get going now. See you boys later.” You waved, helping Sapnap into the car before starting the drive home.

As soon as you’re home, you’re making quick work changing into some soft, cozy clothes, aka one of Sapnap’s hoodies and some shorts, and getting Sap to drink some water before getting comfy in your bed together.

He held you closely, sharing your warmth under the blankets as he tucked his head in your chest. “Know you’re gorgeous an’ all but people are dicks. Need to learn boundaries. Especially when it comes to my girl.” He kissed your lips before settling back into his cozy position. “Love you, darlin’, g’night..” He murmurs softly before he begins to snore.

You can’t stop the smile on your face, nor the way your face heats up at his words, though you know you don’t really want to. “Love you too, Sap.. goodnight..” You grin as you nuzzle into his embrace and close your eyes. The things this boy does to me…
