Hey I'm not too big into Overwatch League anymore but there is one thing I keep up with...

There's a player named Striker who has been in the league since it's inaugural season in 2018(?) and he's had 6 different contracts.

The thing about it is...he keeps going between the same 2 teams.

It's so funny. They're literally playing hot potato with a person.

as a long time fan i could not be happier for dallas fuel FINALLY pulling out the win, what an absolutely incredible way to end the season. of course shock will always be my number one and they played a fantastic series, so i hope everyone is proud of themselves! 🧡🖤 i would’ve been happy to see anyone in the final eight go all the way and they all proved themselves a hundred times over. ggs, 2022!

shocked we haven’t posted abt this yet but the overwatch league (our special interest for 5 years) just concluded its final season and it sucks ass because it’s like wait I don’t want you to end yet?? what abt next season where we get to see new rookies come in and new storylines from the teams and even continuing existing storylines and that feeling you get when you see a player kill 5 or when you see a support save their team and carry a game or even just the stupid banter between the players in between rounds

we’ve grown up with OWL and it’s been a part of our lives since we were TWELVE. now we’re about to be an adult going off to college. It’s been an integral part of our childhood and it’s odd that it’s just GONE now. it’s brought us infinite comfort no matter what shitty, traumatizing bullshit we’ve had to deal with. gave us something to look forward to on the weekend. “if i die, i wont get to see what happens on OWL this weekend” was hilariously something that kept us going more than anything else.

Ig I can’t say anything more than I am INCREDIBLY. INCREDIBLY thankful for the overwatch league and the community around it. I would not be here anymore if it wasn’t for my friends I met from it, and the comforts it’s brought me in my darkest days.

i've been working on approximating this cocktail i had once, years ago, ft. the world's most fascinating gin—only i don't have any huckleberries & i only very vaguely remember what they taste like, which is of course making it difficult! not to mention my total uncertainty about what quantity of berries constitutes a 'bar spoon' of them.

blackberries aren't right but they are very tasty; tonight i tried a combination of blackberries & cherry-pomegranate juice, mostly because i was scraping the bottom of the punnet & needed to pad it out, which i think might be a little closer? anyway, all attempts have been complex & tasty so i haven't exactly been suffering. :)

(shd note that i reduced the simple syrup by a third at the outset to compensate for less-tart berries & have personally been happy with that, although yr tastebuds of course may vary!)

i think im experiencing the drop that’s just my body’s natural respond to so much positivity and excitement from the past two weeks. I need to rest and sleep and actually practice self care to get thru this. A long and life changing experience is not something you just breeze over.
