Welcome home, cap ♡
it’s 3am and I’ve colored this drawing 2 times, trying not to make it too realistic because it isn’t my style but also trying to figure out what exactly is my style lol I’ve been drawing chibi for so long it’s a little hard to get out of my comfort zone, to be honest. I didn’t like it, but maybe in the future I’ll look at this and see how much I’ve improved (or not lol)
retweet/reblog; do not repost, please.

I wish sometimes I was a writer or director because I would've written Falcon and The Winter Soldier the way it deserves. I would've given y'all the Camp it deserved. First of all, we would've had a really cunt theme song like Living Single or That's So Raven. I'm talking about each episode by episode villains, buddy cop comedy but they're vigilantes, and maybe a little bit of romance.
Also, too much Zemo. Yes it's called Falcon AND The Winter Soldier but it felt like a reverse. And then the influx of B*cky x Z*mo was so disappointing in the Fandom. I should've never left. My man Sam wilson was sidelined in his own series.

i wonder how the kids asked bucky to hang off his arm, like i wonder if aj was the one who asked and then the other kids joined, or if sam encouraged aj to go ask bucky, maybe because aj was maybe too shy at first since he doesn’t know bucky that well, but he was still very curious.
the arm that bucky might always have seen as a weapon or something that should be feared— becoming something kids are curious about, something they have questions about, something they want to also interact with, such as touch it and hang off if it.
i wonder what went through bucky’s mind before the kids hanged off his arm, like when one of them maybe asked, what was his reaction?
and when they did start hanging off of it, i can just see him smiling and laughing.:’)
thanks for listening to my thoughts :)

With how much Sam loves helping and getting involved with his community, I can imagine that he makes and cares for a community garden. And from any leftover birdhouses that he makes, he turns them into free libraries. He even teaches about responsible foraging to kids on school trips.
Bucky is a teacher who claims that he's just as passionate about the environment. And although he's learning to not just care but to actually act, the real reason he has his kids visit Wilson's Seafood and Gardens is that, well, Sam Wilson is hot. And he's so sweet. And Bucky swears that Sam is flirting with him. Or is it just because he's so nice...he honestly can't tell.
But Sam always uses Bucky for examples on how to properly forage any flowers, leaves, or stems alike. Each and every time, he carefully positions Bucky's hands around the plants and sort of lets his own linger at his wrist he instructs Bucky to snap or pull. Sam always hands Bucky his big hat to wear while he's there, one that has a big patch with Sam's name right on the front of it. It has strands that come down from the inside of it to secure it. Sam always tightens it for him, with a small smile. And when the kids are free to go out and get anything they want, Sam sits with Bucky on the grass and they catch up on each other's lives. By the end of the trip, Bucky leaves with bags full of herbs and flowers that are oddly left with their stems tied neatly together with yarn.

MAK 💕 If you've got the time, for Bee's micro fic game - 13. subtle / fever please! ✨
hi mexi!!! i didn't really know how to do both here, so i went with fever. v nsfw text below the cut!
(NOTE: this includes trans sam, the words "cunt" and "cock/dick" are both used in reference to him)
Bucky's had him on edge for what feels like hours.
He hasn't even been touching him for most of it, sitting back on the edge of the bed, fully clothed, watching Sam writhe as he fiddles with the settings of the vibrating plug up his ass.
"Make yourself feel good, angel," he croons, whispering out praises as Sam moves to rub at his cock. "Let me see how badly you want this."
Sam lets his hand travel down further, his legs falling apart even wider before he sticks two of his fingers in his cunt, moaning when Bucky says, "So good, angel. Just like that."
He always has him slow down just as he gets close, groans getting louder and more drawn out. "Wait for me, sweetheart," Bucky says, and Sam stills his hand despite his dick's protests.
His entire body feels like it's on fire, almost too hot to be flushed only with desire, damn near feverish.
He almost comes when Bucky finally touches him again, just barely staving off orgasm when Bucky closes his lips around his cock and replaces Sam's fingers with two of his own.
Bucky uses his free hand to grab the remote and ratchet the vibrations even higher, and Sam is almost sobbing from all of it, too many stimuli to focus on any one of them.
"Please, Buck. Fuck, please," he begs, rolling his hips up and digging his nails into his palms in a desperate attempt to keep his toes from curling just yet.
Bucky runs a soothing hand down his thigh, but pulls off his cock. "Come on, Sammy," he says soothingly. "You can let go now, sweetheart."
The fever breaks.

i saw someone recently say that they preferred sambucky over stevebucky (either platonic or romantic tbh) because they felt bucky was happier not living under the shadow of his former self? suggesting that he intentionally spent most of him time post winter soldier away from steve because he didn't want to be compared to a former version of himself that he couldn't return to? I'm a big lover of stevebucky so the idea that steve wouldn't be able to stop comparing (even if subconsciously) post-ws bucky to pre-ws bucky made me question the ship slightly? or that bucky was actually happier without steve in the readjustment process bc he could become his own person without preconceived ideas of what he should be like hanging over his head. I've read a few fics about this and i kinda wanted to know what u thought - would steve's knowledge of the old bucky affect their relationship so negatively that bucky would be happier alone/with people unfamiliar with who he was before (sorry for the rambling question)
Thank you lovely for the very interesting ask! I love these kind of hypotheticals!
First and foremost, don't ever let anyone convince you that you're only allowed to ship one pairing. A lot of people DO only ship one ship, and kudos to them, but you are not a bad fan if you want to ship Bucky with multiple people. Heck, I got into Stucky via Sambucky, and uh…anyway, here I am.
The idea that "Bucky stayed away from Steve because he didn't want to be compared to old Bucky" is one of my favourite angsty "loss of innocence" tropes to explore -- because yes, that's going to be one of Bucky's major insecurities after the Winter Soldier. He isn't the same person as before and no matter how hard he tries, he's never going to go back to who he was before.
The absolutely fascinating part, then, is how a fanfic writer decides to address this. So yeah, I can see this as the jumping board for a SamBucky story (or any other non Stucky ship).
But this is also a concept that not only fits in well within the Stucky fanon/narrative, it's also crucial to explore in order to bring the two of them back together. How does Steve accept that Bucky has changed, and how does Bucky come to trust that Steve accepts this changed version of him?
The answer is, for me, this is Steve we're talking about. Steve with all his tenacity and empathy and loyalty. This is Steve who's known Bucky since childhood, who probably knows Bucky better than the current Bucky remembers himself. This is also a Steve has fought one of the bloodiest wars in history. He is young, but he's not naive. The people of his time didn't have the right words for it - but he has seen a lot of mental health issues on the field. He's come out on the other end of the war still believing in the goodness of humans (his "I'm willing to bet I'm not" speech), so I have no doubt he will look at Bucky and see that -- yeah, you've changed, you've had terrible things happen to you for well over half a century, but you are also still the same kind soul that I grew up with, and that kindness is what's most important; I can still see him in you, even if you are different, and I believe you deserve all the love I can give you.
And you know what, there IS canon evidence that Steve believes in Bucky, believes in the goodness that couldn't be burned away with 70 years of brainwashing. Sam saying to Steve - (Bucky) isn't the kind you save and he won't know you - and Steve replying without an ounce of doubt in his voice, "He will." Or Steve going after Bucky to save him from the SIT because "he'd have done the same for me".
I think another crux is that recent gif set - the "I'm following the little guy from Brooklyn" speech. That was a vow - it was Bucky saying "I loved you (platonically/romantically/wte) when you were a poor disabled scruffy kid in the dumps, and I will love you just the same even if you're a buff blue-eyed Adonis." Their story, as always, encircles each other's - it is now Steve's turn to say "I loved you when you were a nerdy protective flirt and I will love you just the same even if you're disabled and scruffy and dealing with horrendous PTSD". I think that vow also highlights just how important Steve was, even at that point, to Bucky, which means…their loyalty will always draw them back to each other. Once Bucky sees Steve has faith in him, he will have faith in himself to rebuild his identity in a way that's true to him.
It really depends on the writer, but most versions I’ve seen in which Steve and Bucky separate (over this issue) write Steve as either obtuse, selfish or emotionally immature…which is not how I read him to be. I think he has the emotional maturity to accept that Bucky will have similarities but will also have stark differences to who he once was...but then, time leaves its mark on everyone it touches, not just Bucky (I kinda touched on that concept on my "Learning to Want" fic *self plug*). It's a rough road and on some days there's going to be more setbacks than progress, and yeah on some days Steve is going to get frustrated and upset and maybe even a little defeatist, but I think both he and Bucky have that tenacious survivor streak in them that will pull them through, especially if they're together.

Hi! If you're still doing the romance ask: 👠 slow dance
hey cee, thanks for the ask! <33
from this list: SamBucky Romance Asks
Sam let himself sink into the cushions of their sofa, breathing out and relaxing for the first time in a week, maybe more. Probably more.
He knew that Bucky was moving around the house, could hear his footsteps as he went from one room to another. They didn’t sound angry, but Sam knew better.
And he wasn’t stubborn enough to deny that he deserved it.
He had, after all, almost missed his own wedding.
Bucky had every right to be mad. Actually, Sam was surprised he hadn’t straight up cancelled the wedding, or walked away right before saying I do.
It was a few minutes before Bucky came to the living room, missing his tie and jacket, a few buttons of his pressed shirt undone, but otherwise still dressed up and looking unfairly and unbelievably good.
And he was Sam’s husband.
He bypassed Sam entirely, though, and went straight to the record player, going through their impressive collection for a few seconds until he found the one he was looking for.
Sam watched him with bated breath, so many contrasting emotions churning in his stomach, and it seemed like guilt was winning out, making him say, “You can be mad, y’know,” before he could stop himself.
It was just that Bucky hadn’t said anything about it, even when Sam had showed up an hour late with jeans and a sweater and one eye swollen shut.
No, all Bucky had done was breathe out and pull Sam into his arms, gentle like he just knew Sam was sporting a few bruised ribs he was planning on hiding, then had helped him put on his suit, running very careful fingers over the bruises.
Just then, the first notes of I’m In The Mood For Love started playing, Ella Fitzgerald’s voice filling the air.
Bucky turned to look at him. “Yeah,” he said, his voice lighter than it had any right to be, walking over and holding out a hand, “but, I’m in the mood for love.”
Sam swallowed thickly, grabbing Bucky’s hand and letting himself be pulled off the couch and into his arms.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered as he rested his head on Bucky’s shoulder. “I’m so sorry, Bucky.”
Bucky just hummed, one arm resting around Sam’s waist and the other intertwining their fingers together, and started to move their bodies gently to the music, mindful of Sam’s injuries.
“How are you not mad?” Sam asked, pulling back a little.
Because Bucky had been furious when Sam had to leave just a week before the wedding, and they had this big fight about priorities and duties and everything in between, and Sam had left before they had really fully settled the matter, promising Bucky he would be back long before the wedding; a promise he hadn’t been able to keep.
“I’m not spending our first night as a married couple fighting,” Bucky said.
Sam cracked a smile, then winced when it pulled at the tender skin of his face. “Oh, so you’re saving it for the morning?”
“No,” Bucky said easily. “You have a swollen eye in our wedding photos, feels like that’s enough of a punishment for ya.”
Sam snorted.
“No, really,” Bucky said, changing the rhythm of their dancing as the song ended and another started. “Imagine the stories imma tell our kids. Your dad walked into a cabinet just a few days before our wedding.”
“I was saving the world.”
“Your dad punched himself in the eye while lifting a bag.”
Sam shook his head, but he couldn’t stop the smile from spreading across his face. “Yeah, okay. Guess I deserve that.”
Then, because it felt more important, “I love you.”
“I know,” was Bucky’s soft reply.
So Sam stepped in even closer, until their faces were pressed together and they could only really sway on the spot with how close they were.
As long as Bucky knew.

Unpopular Phase 4 & 5 Opinions
Quantumania is the worst Phase 4/5 movie. And it wasn’t even because “kang got beat by ants.” (I liked kang in this movie). It’s just that the Spy Kids aesthetic & bad acting & overall weird vibes just weren’t for me.
Love and Thunder is no worse than Ragnarok. I would argue that it’s better in a lot of ways, actually. I really liked it.
Taika Waititi ruined thor with bad humour all the way back in Ragnarok tbh, but y’all weren’t complaining about it then 😒.
BuckySarah is better than sambucky every day of the week.
The Marvels was a good ass movie & they’re one of my favorite teams in the mcu. I’ll never forgive cbm sites & online dudebros for killing the hype from the moment the film was announced.
I adore America Chavez & Kamala Kahn and I want to see them in everything. They must be protected at all costs.
Multiverse of Madness had shitty characterisation & basically just copy-pasted the ‘grief made me go off the deep end & hurt people, then I realised and stopped myself’ storyline from Wandavision… but Wanda was extremely selfish & apathetic to other people’s suffering from the time she was introduced in the mcu. MoM didn’t make her like that.
Wanda should’ve been looking for Vision (her actual real life boyfriend whom she spent years with irl) in MoM instead of the kids that weren’t even real that she spent like a week using as characters in her sitcom.
Making everyone forget Peter Parker wasn’t profound or poetic in any way- it was just frustrating and needlessly cruel.
I’m begging marvel to understand that heroes don’t have to be in constant suffering to be heroic & villains don’t have to sacrifice themselves to achieve redemption. Let characters heal and atone, you absolute weirdos.
What If…? is the most boring show ever. I’d rather watch Secret Invasion or She-Hulk.
Season 2 of Loki is, in a cinematic & artistic sense, the best marvel project period.
Loki season 1 was meh- more of a fun au than anything because his characterisation kinda sucked. Season 2 fixed it, though, and made it way easier for me to incorporate this version of Loki back into the larger mcu.
Having Steve stay in the past with Peggy was stupid af.
I don’t hate Peggy (or Captain Carter), though. I actually think she’s pretty cool.
I don’t really love Steve. He’s arrogant & they never really let him have flaws & something about him being a perfect metaphor for the American military industrial complex (and marvel painting that as a good thing) doesn’t sit right with me.
The Illuminati got done dirty and the only reason they went down so fast was because Wanda had all that plot armor.
I thought the retcon of having Wanda be “destined” to become the Scarlet Witch since birth was an annoying cop-out. Her powers originating from being experimented on with an infinity stone was way more interesting.
Loki & Wanda have almost the exact same powers.
Nebula deserved a bigger rule in killing Thanos & everything else moving forward.
I love Kathryn Newton but her acting as Cassie Lang was the worst acting I’ve ever seen in the mcu, like it was outrageously bad.
I’m glad Sam is the new Captain America and not Bucky.
The fact that Bucky probably isn’t gonna be one of Thee lead characters in the upcoming avengers movies feels sick and twisted.
Secret Invasion was actually passable until the G’iah scene at the end. That ruined it. And Nick Fury deserved way better for his solo series.
Kang is so much more interesting than Doctor Doom. I really hope they just recast him.
Carol Danvers does NOT deserve the hate she gets.
I actually disliked Carol until The Marvels. That movie made me a stan.
The way people treat Monica as Wanda’s little inferior pet creation or smth & then brag about it is uhh very sus.
I don’t like sylvie (bc she’s an amalgamation of 3 different comic characters- which killed any hopes of them appearing individually in the mcu, the creators used her existence to butcher Loki’s genderfluid rep, & she was written poorly) & I HATE sylki (bc it’s weird & unnecessary).
Marvel isn’t dead. I actually love where they’re taking things. But that’s just me.

SamBucky High School AU Moodboards
Bucky "Uniformity Kills Creativity" Barnes is a queercore punk kid who feels stifled by high school and can't wait to graduate. Sam "Queer Black Joy is Radical" Wilson is a carefree kid who loves all things gaming, comic books, and music. They each have a strong sense of what is right and just. Even though they hang out in different circles, they both get caught 'defacing school property' with graffiti as a means of direct-action protest against an injustice that happens in their small town. The pair get to know one another better in detention and sparks fly.
"Hey!" said Steve to Bucky as he snatched his fries away from his best friend. "Get your own."
Bucky scrunched up his face and narrowed his eyes before saying, "You're so mean. Sam Wilson wouldn't treat me like this."
Steve rolled his eyes before smirking and saying, "Y'know what? You're right. Sam Wilson would treat you good. You'd know that if you ever, gee I dunno, talked to him for more than five minutes."
"Not gonna happen," Bucky replied.
"Why not?" asked Steve.
"Umm, because he's Sam Wilson," said Bucky with a dreamy sigh. "He's smart and funny and charming and hot. And I'm just...me?"
"Hey, don't be so hard on yourself," said Steve as he placed a hand to Bucky's shoulder. "You're awesome. So is Sam. You'd make a sickeningly cute couple. You've got a lot in common. You should hang out."
"I appreciate you, Steve, and I know he's a great guy, but the only way Sam Wilson will spend any time with me is if he's forced to."
Steve went to reply to his friend's self-deprecating remark when an announcement was made over the PA system.
"Sam Wilson and James Barnes," the voice said sternly. "You are required in Principal Fury's office right now."
