About Saiya:

I essentially have two versions of her.

One follows canon to a degree. Overhaul and Dabi (Touya) are villains and they don't raise her. She grows up not knowing who they are (and thinks Shouto is her dad due to her appearance; isn't certain enough on it to even consider trying to approach him). I'm messing around with her backstory, but I think Pops wakes up from the coma Overhaul put him in and years down the road runs into a little runaway Saiya. He sees Chisaki in her and takes her in. From pictures and hearing Pops talk about him, Saiya suspects Chisaki is her dad. He eventually does tell her that he's rather certain because she has half his quirk. During a public villain attack with Chisaki (now a nomu) and Dabi does the last dots fall in place. That man has blue eyes and blue fire, much like her other half. One of the Todoroki's (I think Enji) notice her similarities to Touya. She's an older teen by this time. Blood test later and she's confirmed related to them. They welcome her into their family, but definitely feels very weird at first.

The other I've dubbed "fam AU" and it's essentially where Dabi accidentally knocks Chisaki up adhfjfm. They aren't villains, change in their past to prevent them going down that path. They were just fuck buddies with some budding feelings. Chisaki tried to cut Dabi off when he found out he was pregnant. Didn't think Dabi could be faithful and didn't want to deal with a flaky baby daddy. Dabi finds out he's pregnant regardless and worms his way back into Chisaki's life. He decides to give Dabi a chance, and in this one they get a happy end.

Small update concerning Saiya (dabihaul):

Almost as soon as I made that last post about her (couple months back) I ended up remembering another idea I had that I could incorporate into her story. So, this is a very late edit it to that ashdjf

As far as "canon" AU goes, keeping it the same that baby Saiya gets abandoned at a hospital soon after she's born and ends up in an orphanage. Babies with unknown parents are "less desirable" because they don't have any idea of what their quirks will be. Any child is capable of a dangerous quirk mutation, but alas she doesn't get adopted out like most babies would.

Forever ago I had this thought of Dabi, more than a little fucked up given the fact Chisaki was turned into a nomu, ends up kidnapping Saiya from the orphanage. She's still a baby at this point and remembers none of it once she's older.

Dabi isn't quite sure what he's doing. Having 3 younger siblings means he knows how to take care of babies, but doesn't have the ability to take care of her as well as he should.

(Going blatantly against canon with the thought of him having a space away from the rest of the league for this to work ashdjfkf)

After being MIA for awhile, Toga ends up coming over unannounced. Pretty much she snaps some sense into Dabi, letting him know the baby has no future in the League and that Shigaraki would literally kill Saiya if he found out about her.

(Unshown: ridiculous shenanigans to hide Chisaki's pregnancy from Shigaraki. Shigaraki has some messed up one-sided feekings for Dabi. It's a whole ordeal. This is how we end up with shigadabi Hokuru down the line.)

At first Dabi snaps at her, but once Saiya starts crying he settles down. Finally admits that Toga is right. He knew from the start there was no way he could keep Saiya, but as mentioned, losing Chisaki left him all sorts of fucked up. He really regrets letting it happen; his situation with Chisaki was super fucked tho, captor and victim falling in love. Or as in love as they can be.

Not wanting to drop her off at an orphanage again, he tracks down Pops (the old yakuza leader) who's woken from the coma Chisaki put him in.

Pops is also in a State because imagine waking up and your organization is gone, the man who was like your son went off and tortured your granddaughter, and has now disappeared. He's dealing with his own heavy regrets for not raising Chisaki right and preventing this from happening. He never thought Chisaki would go that far, thought that in the end he'd listen.

When he hears a knock on his door late at night, he's suspicious. He was apart of the Yakuza after all. When he opens the door, he doesn't see anything initially, about to close the door until his eyes drift down.

There's baby Saiya, bundled up in a very familiar jacket. He glances around, but assumes whoever left her ran off the second he opened the door. Picking her up, he knows she's his son's daughter. The jacket, the half of her with dark brown hair and a golden eye, he knows. The red hair and blue eye half is unfamiliar, but he gets a draining feeling that he's never seeing Chisaki again.

At first he isn't certain on whether or not he's keeping Saiya. He's an old man after all, but wonders if he raised her to be a wonderful woman, he can forgive himself for what happened to Chisaki.
