Sure, case work isn’t going well, and this whole arrangement with Serizawa is way too complicated, and Dimple’s driving him up a wall, and he wasn’t expecting to find Roshuuto there of all places — but it’s all going to be okay! Reigen Arataka has a plan for that.

chapter six excerpt:
Reigen nudges him with an elbow. “So you read my column.”
“I did. Last night. Um. And again when I woke up this morning. And while I was waiting at the mall. I didn’t want to miss anything.”
“It was better, right? I knew I was onto something even while I was typing it. Definitely the best one I’ve done so far.” Reigen pauses mid-bloviation. “That’s what I thought. You liked it, right?”
Serizawa doesn’t say anything right away, but the line of his mouth twitches like an EKG reading.
Reigen deflates. “Right?”

I would give this advice to any young actress. The same advice I've given to my daughters. Don't turn your femininity, your youth, your sexuality into a commodity. It has a shelf life. Instead, get an education, learn your craft, cultivate your intellect, travel to far away places, deepen your life experiences. It is in the end, the richness of your being that you bring on stage or in front of a camera.
