However, they've been a little more on edge for some unknown reason & they've been trying to keep it as far from everyone as possible, like something dangerous is growing too close for their comfort....

Poor drowned Sabor. Apparently a Europe only McDonald's toy form 2000. Feels like he had a button inside him, and I'm guessing he either roared or the eyes lit up. He's been cleaned, but will have to do toy surgery to see if I can't remove any errant rusty batteries.

Next up:

(top is before cleaning). Odd bit of plastic wood that @scifer found when he came with me one day for litter picking. Felt like it was part of a play set, like a fort or log cabin. After a bit of research, we think we fund where it came from- a 1976 Fort bravo playset.

(images from here: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/194440818853) You can see where it could have fit near the gates, and I can see where spokes had broken off on the piece we found. It is older than both of us.

Then my favourite finds, both the same shade of green we just repainted the bathroom with. Must be a lucky sign!:

The seagrass on the right I'll gt to in a moment, but focusing on the 'animal' there. Not sure if it was a deer, horse, camel or similar yet, but I know it has printed on it 'Bonux'.

Bonux is a French washing powder that began life in 1958 and in the 60's would often have little plastic toys that came with the packets. I've had a few bits of plastic that I suspect might be from the 50's to the 70s, but this is my first confirmed piece from around the 60's.

The little half horse/deer/camel is much, much older than me.

Then my fave find:

Not as old as the other things mentioned here, but I strongly suspect this is my first find of the infamous 1997 Lego cargo spill.

While there is always a chance this happens to be a discarded bit of Lego outside the spill, I want to think this is my first find. The people behind 'Lego lost at sea' are great, and you can find them on all kinds of social media platforms (they even recently joined blue sky) got me into documenting what I find. Finding Lego on the beach now is a bit of a badge of hour amongst other litter pickers along the coast. I have found Lego before but never something from the actual spill.

AND THE REST.

Here are my other 'treasures' from the last couple of weeks, including ta huge amount of un-photoed tennis balls. I like (or hate really) collecting fake plants for my fake plant tree (now becoming a fake plant forest).

Those in the UK may spot a few smarties lids there, and I'll have to do a post just on them.

Yep! There are a couple of relationships here that I know of. 😄

(These are some of the characters I ship, I'm not sure if anyone else does but here we go. Also I've actually drawn some of these guys for the first time so forgive me if they're a bit off, sorry for the late reply. 😂)

#1: Scar, Zira & Shere khan.

(Onix: Scar has been over Zira for a few years now since he got together with Khan, Khan really loves Scar but is becoming impatient with Zira's behavior, Zira also loves Scar but wants to destroy Khan to keep Scar to herself. It's complicated compared to other universes. 😅)

#2: Maleficent & Ursula.

(Onix: They're my fantasy moms, they do so many cute things together like doing each other's nails, having tea together, all the adorable old lady stuff! They've been together for years & in every conversation I have with one or the other they always mention their lover in the most dear & adorable ways. 😄)

#3: Medusa & McLeach.

(Onix: A city girl & an outdoorsman with a country couple kinda love, they bicker, they argue, & at the end of the day, the only people on their mind is each other. Believe it or not, they've actually been married since before I got here, their actually the only married couple in the house so far. 😊)

#4: Clayton & Cruella.

(Onix: They used to be a passionate couple, but their opposites outweighed their similarities, & it eventually tore them apart. Cruella was drawn more to the fur he could provide, while he genuinely yearned for a relationship. But I think he may also be gay, I don't know though. 😶)

#5: Ernesto & Slim.

(Onix: This is what it would be if Morticia Addams was a mexican musician & Gomez Addams was a western outlaw. I think by this description you can already guess the kind of relationship they have. Very passionate & romantic, this relationship definitely has a strong bond between these two. 😁)

#6: Jafar & Hook.

(Onix: Hook treats Jafar like a precious gem, constantly bestowing gifts & showering him with love. Jafar adores every minute of Hook's attention, admiring him for his kind heart & passionate affection. Hook will sometimes call Jafar his "seashell". 😆)

#7: Mor'du & Sabor.

(Onix: No one, not even myself thought these two were together, but Mor'du is attracted to power, & Sabor isn't one to back down from a fight, she's very independent & ready to stand her ground even if a bear were to charge at her. He likes her for it. 😌)

#8: Evil Queen & the Horseman.

(Onix: So, the Horseman fell in love with the Queen & has tried to slowly approach her about his feelings, but the Queen doesn't know whether she wants to accept his heart, or deny his advances. She never met someone who genuinely wanted to be with her so she's kinda conflicted. 😞)
