I get that the name Tav is the default in the character creator, but I see ppl using it in tags for BG3 stuff with their OC. So now I'm curious if this is a standard thing for RPG characters because it's not about your personal character but just the concept of the player? Or something like that? Like are people are just using that name in tags as a sort of overall default "generic ID for the PC" even though they named their created avatar character something else? (I could also see the case for using Tav when you're just talking about the player avatar in general, but tagging with your OC's name when it's specifically about them.) Or maybe people are actually just leaving the default name during character creation? No judgement, just curiosity.
