Wow haha surprise I am updating this fic after almost a year! I never meant to stop writing it, but I got to a scene I just couldn't get the way I wanted it and got frustrated and gave up. Then I went through two shitty jobs that drained me of all passion to create. A couple months ago I finally found a job that I like and I finally felt ready to pick this story back up. I'm still not completely satisfied with this chapter, but I decided it was better to just put it out and move on, because I have so many ideas for how I want the rest of the story to go!

A lil au thats been bouncing around in my brain for a bit! Instead of joining ThunderClan, rusty stays a kittypet who roams the ThunderClan border for many moons- often getting into spats with ThunderClan apprentices SandPaw and DustPaw. As they grow older, SandStorm and Rusty find that they actually have a good time together when they aren't tussling around in the dirt. Enough time passes that they get together in secret- just as TigerClaw puts his plan into action, dethroning BlueStar in the night away from watchful eyes. SandStorm falls pregnant with Rusty's kits, quickly growing afraid of what TigerStar will do if he finds out the litter is a kittypets; though, luckily, the unspoken law that all monarchs (queens) are entitled to privacy regarding their litters sire holds up strong enough to protect little SquirrelKit and DandelionKit (Leaf!). [Since Sand and rusty never meet leafstar, who I hc Leafpool is named after, I figured sand would pick a dif name!] TigerStar is VERY suspicious of them but since the other Monarchs seem protective of the two tiny kits, he backs off for a while. SquirrelKit is eventually named SquirrelPaw and is apprenticed to DustPelt, and DandelionKit is named DandelionPaw, and is made a healers apprentice, something that has been needed by ThunderClan for some time, after SpottedLeafs near death expereince (no yellowfang since there is no firepaw to find her, no cinderpelt because she remains a warrior, as TigerStar doesn't try to lure BlueStar to the road, killing her in a different way further in the timeline than he had tried when FireHeart was there). SpottedLeaf, near constantly on deaths door, trains DandelionPaw as best she can in her condition, badly injured from a ShadowClan attack. I HAVE MANY THOUGHTS on this au but am too tired to put them together rn, will probs post about them later!

Au where ravenpaw is scourge that I’ve had in my head for a bit. Tw for the dynamic between tiger and raven that I’ll be describing (tigerclaw being a terrible, abusive mentor, though no violence it mostly just the psychological aspects)

So tiny still goes into the woods like the original scourge story goes, but this time Tigerclaw is a young(er) warrior when he attacks tiny. Bluestar/fur (she’s either right on the precipice of becoming leader or it’s her early leadership) defends tiny, takes him back to camp where he stays for a bit (a few moons since he’s younger than an apprentice) to heal his wounds, but eventually ends up joining the clan — believing that if he goes back home the twolegs will throw him in the river like his siblings told him. He’s named Ravenpaw when he comes of age, and is apprenticed to Tigerclaw; bluestar(or sunstar) seeing this as a way to force a bond between the two.

When Rusty joins the clans, Ravenpaw is notably the oldest apprentice because he’s been held back by Tigerstar for not suiting his standards. Raven’s personality is extremely different; he could be seen as timid, but he’s also largely very monotonous, straight forward (on most things) and kinda cold. He bonds with firepaw because they’re both ex kittypets, but generally Fire can tell something is off.

Ravenpaw carries a resentment towards clan society and structure that increasing as he ages and with every “failed” assessment. Tigerclaw has manipulated the clan into thinking he is a good mentor — that it’s Ravenpaw and his Kittypet origins that make him such a lackluster apprentice. When he kills the adder later on he’s sure it’ll give him his Warrior name, only for Tigerclaw to completely disregard him and his catch.

The relationship between the mentor and apprentice are strange, Ravenpaw only speaks to Tigerclaw when spoken to — and when he does occasionally speak out of turn he tenses up, like he’s majorly fucked up. There’s a palpable fear there, but also a hatred that is beginning to outgrow the fear; these conflicting emotions causing Ravenpaw to finally admit to what he saw when redtail died.

Tigerclaw isn’t fully aware Ravenpaw saw what happened, though he has a hunch — and Ravenpaw, though fearful of him has learned to mask his emotions in order to survive under him, had done a pretty good job of not looking too suspicious to his mentor, (I’d imagine here he never passes out, but almost does tell the clan before tigerclaw enters camp) at least until tigerclaw is pronounced deputy. In the heat of the moment and the rage he’s built up towards tigerclaw, he tells firepaw what he saw that day, confident he can trust Firepaw due to their shared heritage (in more ways than one but they don’t know that yet).

Not long after this, the rumors about Ravenpaw being a traitor start to really spread like wild fire, which is only fueled into an inferno when ShadowClan steals ThunderClan’s kits as cats begin pointing the finger at him. Instead of what happens in book where firepaw and Greypaw escort him to the barn — Ravenpaw vanishes after the kits are goe, similarly to how yellowfang also vanished, though…they do find Yellowfang. They never find Ravenpaw. It’s assumed ShadowClan killed him by the rest of the clan, but Firepaw — now Fireheart has his sights aimed at Tigerclaw.

The rest of the story follows loosely as it is in books with the main changes being that Ravenpaw is not at the barn, and it’s assumed he’s dead.

Until scourge shows up.

Ravenpaw this whole time had decided he was better off out of the clans as a rogue than anywhere near Tigerclaw — so he runs to the city. Ravenpaw is notably more adept to survival in harsh environments due to his training, though still a bit naive. Cats begin to take interest in his hunting skills, but that interest peaks when ravenpaw is seen playing with a dog tooth lazily one day, something he keeps carrying around. The lie starts that he’s fought a dog one on one this way, and eventually spirals into the scourge mythos he builds for himself, BloodClan built as both a mockery to the clans that never fully accepted him and his own way of improving on where they failed; where everyone was an outsider, a loner, rogue or kittypet, and no “true” clan cats existed. Scourge becomes cold and cruel, fully metamorphosing into this detached, power hungry figure that Tigerstar meets. The Tom is barely able to recognize Ravenpaw as scourge, and when he does…he’s somewhat impressed, though, believes the previous power he held over him will be easily translated into their business agreement here, so he foolishly takes his chances at manipulating Scourge.

Eventually, when scourge is reintroduced to the clans with a “clan” of his own, Tigerstar openly tries to challenge him…a challenge which is easily dealt with by his former apprentice. Firestar, having recognized his friend tries to reason with him — but Scourge is done, he gave the clans chances to change in his own eyes, gave cats like Tigerstar second chances and they never did. The only solution now is revenge for all they put him through, all they put anyone who didn’t “fit their standards” through. He gives Firestar a chance, though — join BloodClan, he’ll be given the respect the clans have never afforded him. Firestar declines, the war goes on.

During the battle, after Firestar has come back from his first death, he doesn’t kill scourge, instead, he offers him a second chance because as much as he hates what he’s become, he knows why he fell down this path and it isn’t too late — there is still good in Scourge. Scourge, having trained with Firestar and watched him grow, having entrusted him more than the entirety of the clan is moved by this, and he surrenders to Firestar, BloodClan retreating, but without scourge at the head.

Having surrendered scourge knows he cannot return to the city, knowing BloodClan will think him weak and kill him on sight, so, Firestar and greystripe escort him to the barn where barley awaits. Scourge changes his name Raven, ditches his collar and claws and lives out his life in peace with Barley who ofc he becomes mates with. Years down the line, when WarriorClan is built it’s definitely influenced by a chunk of Raven’s stories about his time in the clans. (Monkeystar is 100% their kid)

There’s also the alternate ending of Raven/scourge going on to rebuild SkyClan himself and influencing the concept of daylight warriors though probably never becoming the clans leader.

You know what would be a cool warrior cat au? Sibling swap au. Not in personality or whatever because that just takes away from who the cats are but in roles and how/when they die.

I mean at face value what a cool au we would have Snowstar instead of Bluestar!! WRONG. Maybe? I mean Moonflower would be the med cat (bc she swapped with Goosefeather) but maybe those two would end up as Goose’s kits somehow, if he ever decided to have kits even though he’s a warrior now. So that would mean Thistleclaw would become leader right? Because he was the next candidate? WRONG AGAIN. He died as an apprentice replacing his sister. So does that mean we would have Sweetstar?? Who even knows!!

Also cats with no known siblings or only cat litters stay the same and I think this only applies to cats born in the same litter. Like Tigerstar is replaced by one of his sisters but Wind Runner has no known siblings (that I remember) even if she maybe had some so she stays

I just think it has a lot of endless possibilities, and consider, Princess replacing Firestar. Joining for a completely different reason and Firestar is the one who sticks around with his two legs (I like to think a twoleg kit moved in and they bonded and Rusty felt bad leaving so he sticks around). While Princess maybe gets convinced by Oliver and she joins Thunderclan. I just think it’d be radical!! Also the world building oh my gododododod THe- THE WORLDBUILDING! If you really want to get into it you could even go back to the beginning. Gray Wing, leader of Skyclan. Sun Shadow leader of Shadowclan. Wind Runner still runs Windclan (my Girlboss). Thunder is replaced by one of his dead siblings, rumble or lightning I think. River Ripple still runs Riverclan. Idk man I just feel it’s got that potential. WC Skyfall AU Timeline: From The Skyfall to The Light in the Mist

This is a draft timeline for the Skyfall AU outline. All dates are approximate and subject to change.

Winter 1920 - Skyclan is exiled from the forest after human settlement drives them from their home territory. The remaining clans refuse to aid the homeless clan and Skyclan leaves the forest. Only Birdflight, the mate of Cloudstar of Skyclan, and their kittens remain behind. Skyclan vows to never turn to Starclan again, causing the formation of the Skypaws, which becomes Skyclan's ancestral skies.

Spring 1921 - Skyclan arrives at the gorge. Cloudstar dies soon after, the stress of the events in the forest and the subsequent journey catching up to him. Buzzardstar is named leader.

1938-1940 - The Thunderclan Civil War fought between the Cloudstar and Redstar's descendants within Thunderclan. The result is the death of many warriors and the Thunderclan leader (and Cloudstar descendant), Yarrowstar, and the formation of the Skybloods as a group within Thunderclan.

Summer 1950 - Amberstar of Thunderclan becomes the first true Skyblood leader of Thunderclan. Her descendants (Birdstar, Oakstar, Pinestar, Tigerstar of Shadowclan, and Bramblestar) would lead Thunderclan for the majority of the next several decades.

1958 - Birdstar of Thunderclan and Frondstar of Shadowclan begin leading raids into the town, kidnapping kits in the process. These raids would continue through the reigns of the leaders' successors Oakstar and Houndstar.

1975 - Mapleshade's Vengeance takes place. Darkstar of Riverclan, upset at Oakstar for damning the kittens along with the mother, adds a law to the warrior code: Kittens are to be protected, regardless of their origins or the actions of their kin.

"Mapleshade may have been the one to bring those kittens to the river, but they would not have been there had it not been for your rashness, Oakstar. Kittens are not to be blamed for the actions of their kin."

1984 - Pinestar's Choice begins

1985 - Doestar of Thunderclan ends the raids on the town and establishes friendly, although fragile, relations with the cats of the town.

1986 - Goosefeather's Curse begins [this may be scrapped-- I am not a big fan of this novella or it's implications for future events]

1989 - Yellowfang's Secret and Tallstar's Revenge begin

1991 - Pinestar becomes leader of Thunderclan

1994 - Bluestar's Prophecy and Crookedstar's Promise begin

1996 - Pinestar leaves Thunderclan to become a house-cat, abandoning his family in the process. Leopardfoot, his ex-mate, suggests a new law for the code in her anger: A noble warrior rejects the life of a house-cat and will lay down their life in service of their clan

1997 - Tallstar becomes leader of Windclan and Leopardstar's Honor begins.

Winter 1998 - Blueflame [Bluefur/Bluestar] gives birth to Mistykit, Stonekit, and Mosskit in Thunderclan. Mistykit and Stonekit are given to their father, Oakheart of Riverclan, while Mosskit passes away on the trip to the river. Blueflame is named deputy of Thunderclan.

2000 - Redtail's Debt and Spottedleaf's Heart begin. Crookedstar becomes leader of Riverclan.

2001 - Bluestar becomes leader of Thunderclan.

Spring 2003 - Rusty the Kittypet joins Thunderclan as Firepaw. Windclan is driven from the forest by Brokenstar.

Summer 2003 - Brokenstar is driven out of Shadowclan.

Early Fall 2003 - Fireheart and Graystripe help bring Windclan home after they are driven out by Brokenstar.

2005 - Tigerclaw is exiled from Thunderclan. Fireheart is named deputy of Thunderclan.

2006 - Firestar becomes leader of Thunderclan. The Darkest Hour takes place.

2007 - Firestar's Quest takes place. Skyclan is re-established in the gorge, albeit with very different structure from the Forest Four due to a prolonged time apart. Leafstar is made leader of the newly refounded clan, with Sharpclaw as her deputy and Echosong as her cleric.

2008 - The New Prophecy begins

2009 - the clans arrive at The Lake. Leafpool discovers the Moonpool

2009 - Windclan Civil War takes place after Tallstar's death. Peatstar [Onestar] is named leader of Windclan.

2010 - Leopardstar passes away and Mistystar becomes leader of Riverclan.

2011 - The Three are born to Leafpool of Thunderclan. Her sister, Squirrelflight, adopts the kittens and presents them to the clan as her own. In reality, Lionkit is the son of Leafpool and Mothwing of Riverclan while Jaykit and Hollykit are the kits of Leafpool and Crowfeather of Windclan.

2013 - The Battle of the Eclipse takes place.

Spring 2014 - Hollyleaf reveals the truth of the Three's parentage at a gathering and murders Ashfur before fleeing into the tunnels.

Summer 2014 - The Fourth Apprentice takes place.

Summer 2016 - The Battle of the Dark Forest takes place. Blackstar of Shadowclan dies in the battle and Tawnystar becomes leader of Shadowclan. Firestar of Thunderclan also dies in the battle and Bramblestar becomes leader of Thunderclan.

2018 - The Apprentice's Quest takes place

2019 - Darktail and The Kin arrive at the Lake

Fall 2019 - Tawnystar is killed attempting to drive Darktail away from the lake. Shadowclan is temporarily leaderless.

2020 - Darktail is killed by his estranged father, Peatstar. Harestar becomes leader of Windclan and Goldenstar becomes leader of Shadowclan.

2021 - Lost Stars takes place.

2022 - Ashfur is defeated. A shaken Bramblestar steps down from leadership and Squirrelstar becomes leader of Thunderclan.

Tigerheart is now Goldenheart (I hated that he was named Tiger to begin with)

Squirrelstar becomes leader several books earlier

The prequels have been shuffled around a little bit in order to better match the cats ages in TPB

Leader deaths have been moved around a lot on the timeline. Some leaders live wayyyyyy too long

I added a large time period between Cloudstar's Journey and Mapleshade's Vengeance. The clans need time to forget that Skyclan existed.

Please let me know if I have made any glaring mistakes in terms of seasons -- I haven't re-read any books recently other than The Prophecies Begin, which I read a few weeks ago. I am mostly relying on my memory of the books, knowledge gained from tumblr, and the wiki.

I likely won't do a ton of work on anything past OotS, since that is the last arc I fully read when I was reading the books as a teenager.

So uh I saw a post about ShadowClan have like mushroom related names and out of curiosity I decided to look up what kind of mushrooms can be found in England and like.

Would the cats have that many names for all of these species of mushrooms so that all of these names can work? Probably not. Are all of these mushrooms capable of being found in the same general area that the Clans live in? Probably not. But do we really care? Especially when you can have names like Beefsteakpaw or Georgestar?

Honestly I LOVE the idea of breaking up Mush/shroom into a prefix and a suffix, and I've considered using -cap as a suffix. I also have actually used Morel, Button, and Truffle for OCs (Plus Reishi, which I've found growing where I live so I allowed it for a FanClan set locally)

Personally I just filter out plants/fungi that have human names and stories attached to them, because I LOVE warriors-ifying stuff like that. Queen Anne's Lace, for example? I'd adapt the story into being about the first Warrior to discover weaving. They who worked their pads to cracks, leaving a little drop of blood in the center of the flower.

So there wouldn't be a Queenpaw or an Annepaw, but the plant would be called Snowheart's Lace and any cat named Lacepaw would know the story by heart.

Plus, I just have a softness for ShadowClan. I'd love for them to have all these amazing stories for their apprentices. I wonder what they'd think of Rusty, if he joined ShadowClan? They could have named him Rustpaw after rustgill mushrooms! It could have been taken as a good sign.

Leopardfoot has her kits as normal,but sadly one by the name of Tigerkit dies.His sisters Mistkit and Nightkit are determined to become great warriors of Thuderclan in his honor.Moons and moons later they get their warrior names Nightshade,and Mistheart,but they also get new apprentices Ravenpaw and Dustpaw! The sisters believe they are chosen to lead thuderclan one day but some think otherwise.During the battle for sunningrocks Nightshade seizes to secure her chance and kills redtail,but she doesn’t know someone else saw her. Nightshade and Mistheart eventually find out that ravenpaw knows what she did,but they decide to spare him in exchange for promising not to tell anyone. Ravenpaw decides to become a medicine cat instead of a warrior (he receives his name Ravenflight).During all of this a kittypet named Rusty joins the clan. (All stays the name for him except that Longtail trains him,not Bluestar.) Nightshde and Mistheart team up and mange to kill bluestar,but Longtail and Fireheart kick them out of thuderclan. That’s when they join shadowclan and Nightshade becomes Nightstar. Then they advance their plans by Mistheart luring dogs near the camp and killing brindleface. Soon shadowclan teams up with bloodclan to defeat thuderclan once and for all. But Scourge decides he doesn’t want to fight now and in lack of patience ,Nightstar attacks scourge and dies the same way Tigerstar would have.Mistheart runs away as the clans engage in battle and becomes a kittypet. Eventually she meets a kittypet named Sasha and tells her about her life. This sparks Sasha’s interest and one day she decides to go find the clan for herself.

A Lore Ask? Ohohohoho yes please!

So to start, Thistleclaw figures out who the real father of Misty Stone and Moss is, and tries to start an interclan war over it, basically going hey you wet furbrains we have Riverclan kits nyeeehhhh. However Hailstar and Sunstar see through this and come to an agreement that pleases their warriors - after being weaned, the kittens go to Riverclan to be raised there, but Bluefur may visit them on occasion. The two clans become very close this way. When Rusty shows up, it’s to an elderly Sunstar and his deputy Bluefur, with her loyal ex apprentice Tigerfur. Thistleclaw disapproves but Sunstar welcomes the new apprentice, naming him Dawnpaw for his pale orange coat, and apprenticing him off to Bluefur. Redtail and Ravenpaw come back to camp, reporting that someone with Thunderclan scent has been mucking about Riverclan’s side of the border AGAIN, this time stealing and desecrating prey.

The next time Bluefur goes to visit her kits, now all warriors, she brings Dawnpaw, who is as respectful as possible - which Mistyfoot approves of. Crookedstar and Oakheart chit chat with Bluefur while Mistyfoot, Stonefur, and Mossback steal her apprentice for a swimming lesson. Dawnpaw comes back with a fat fish he offers to Crookedstar as a token of friendship. Leopardfur does not approve of the interclan friendships.

Some time later Sunstar passes in his sleep, and Bluestar rises. Crookedstar passes from illness and Leopardstar starts cracking down on the visits. Silverstream survives her kitting in Riverclan camp and refuses to name the father, but little Stormkit looks just like Graystripe. Dawnpaw, becoming Dawnheart, sneaks across to figure out what’s going on - Mistyfoot tells him that Leopardstar has been meeting a gray cat, but has little other details. Yellowfang is found, and Dawnheart is suspicious, a gray cat? In this camp? Brokenstar attacks camp and deputy Redtail is killed saving the kits and his sister, leaving his daughter Sandstorm and her maybe mate Raventail to mourn and Lionheart as deputy. Windclan returns triumphant. Yellowfang saves Spottedleaf, and when Brokenstar returns she blinds him. Thistleclaw tries to kill Bluestar and is stopped by Tigerfur and Dawnheart. Revealed as the traitor, he leaves in a furious huff. Later, after Brokenstar is poisoned I MEAN dies naturally, Thistlestar leads Shadowclan, and then joins up with Leopardstar to destroy the clans.

Stonefur is nearly killed fighting Darkstripe, who is a kit-poisoning terror, and Blackfoot, but Blackfoot sees the cats coming to save the half-clan cats, and throws the match, allowing Mistyfoot, Stonefur, Mossback, Silverstream, Featherkit, and Stormkit to escape, with Oakheart covering them, leading to his death. Lionheart steps down as deputy, and recommends Dawnheart, who recently finished training Cinderleg. Brightpaw and Swiftpaw live through the dogs, just barely. Mistyfoot and Dawnheart have a “secret” romance. The dogs throw themselves and Bluestar off the cliff, and she passes away. Dawnstar names loyal Whitestorm as deputy. Leopardstar refuses to back down, and is overthrown by the returning warriors, leading to her fleeing to Shadowclan. Scourge, attacked as a kit by Thistleclaw, kills Thistlestar and declares war. Leopardstar dies redeeming herself, saving Whitestorm. Dawnstar does not slay Scourge, but his rising drives off Bloodclan. Mistyfoot is chosen by Riverstar himself to lead Riverclan. Mistystar gives birth to five kits - Reedkit, Bluekit, Primrosekit, Pikekit, and Emberkit, and returns the rule of visiting cross-clan kits. Blackstar and Tallstar adopt this, and more kits grace the clans. When the Journey happens, Squirrelpaw, daughter of Sandstorm and Raventail, makes friends with Pikeface, leading to another romance.

The Evil Firestar AU, or the Firemask AU, is a warrior cats alternate universe

Everything goes as normal, but when Rusty joins the clans, he is apprenticed to Tigerclaw (who is very unhappy about it). Ravenpaw is the apprentice of Bluestar. Meanwhile, Mapleshade is very interested in this new kittypet in ThunderClan (who starts talking his way in and out of trouble and saying very radical ideas about unifying the clans), and begins teaching him how to lie in the DF. There's a subplot of DF politics, but mostly things go as normal. Firepaw manages to convince Tigerclaw not to kill Ravenpaw for finding out about Redtail, and the apprentices all get their warrior names after rescuing the kits from ShadowClan.

Firepaw is named Firemask for the darker orange mask around his eyes.

Tigerclaw ends up killing Bluestar, and naming Darkstripe as deputy. Firemask kills Darkstripe. During that time, Cinderpaw has her accident in a trap that was set for Firemask. Tigerstar acknowledges the game has begun, and after that Swiftpaw and Brightpaw end up attempting to lead the dogs to Tigerstar. They fail, and both are badly wounded, Tigerstar killing Swiftpaw and leaving Brightpaw to die. Firemask and Ravencall (Ravenpaw's warrior name) bring her to the RiverClan border, telling her to run.

Firemask starts his own little group of his supporters.

With great reluctance from everyone involved, Cloudkit is brought to ThunderClan. Firemask starts worrying, and this gets worse when Graystripe and eventually Sandstorm leave for RiverClan (Sandstorm was going to have his kits, and didn’t want them to grow up there). After the TigerClan merges with ShadowClan, he stuffs deathberries in Tigerstar's prey, and that takes his second to last life. Then BloodClan attacks, along with RiverClan and WindClan. This time Scourge doesn't really care about taking over the forest, he just wants to kill Tigerstar. In the midst of the battle, Scourge and Firemask kill Tigerstar a second time, and the TigerClan cats are matched into the RiverClan camp.

Firemask manages to convince Leopardstar not to exile him, and gets passive aggressive nine lives. He is forced into picking Greystripe for his deputy (Ravencall was his first choice). He's not pissed, but not overjoyed at it.

He sort of reconciles with Sandstorm, and that's how the first arc goes. Mapleshade is clowning on Thistleclaw at the end.

That's the basic summary of the first arc, but there is a lot that I didn't go into.

Princess/Fuego: Fled into the city in a fit of grief after FireHeart came to her one day and told her that her son, CloudPaw, had been maimed and brutally killed by the dog pack that had been hunting down clan cats in recent times. She's filled with fury and grief at this news, and threw herself at FireHeart, screaming that she trusted him to keep him safe, that he promised her that CloudPaw would be safe and alive in the clans. In the present, Princess found herself in a cold alleyway, she collapsed from exhaustion and could only lay there on the cold, wet floor and sob painfully to her lonesome self. Well, until she heard a quiet, somewhat shrill voice call from up above. She looked up and squinted her eyes to see a black cat with piercing blue eyes that drooped with pity. Princess barely lifted her heavy head up, too depressed and tired to flinch a muscle, but she asked what they wanted from her, and the cat spoke, introducing himself as Scourge.

Tldr: Princess met Scourge after fleeing into twolegplace AFTER being told that her son - who she entrusted the safety of to her brother- was mauled and killed by dogs. Scourge took her in as he saw the grief she was experiencing in that moment

Smudge/Oil-Slick: Went into the forest one day to look to FireHeart/Star but was attacked by a patrol of cats (Possibly Shadowclan or Thunderclan?). Until Bone came charging in to save his life. Turns out Bone had been watching Smudge for quite a while after he (Bone) had figured out that Smudge was the child that Barley had -and then ran off with to find a better home to live in-. Bone tells Smudge after escorting him to a safer place everything he needs to know about the clan cats and how much they're fucking awful. Smudge's eyes widen at him and he says "But... Rusty became a forest cat, and he's not like that at all..! He's FireHeart now, but he's not like how you say clan cats are!" Bone's expression softens and he sighs, replying, "How do you know for sure. How do you know he's stayed the same." Smudge doesn't respond, staring ahead as if everything started to connect in his brain, only to have his mind interrupted by his grandfather's gravelly voice, "He's not Rusty anymore. He's FireHeart. Just like you said" Tldr: Smudge got attacked by a clan cat patrol after going into the forest to try and find FireHeart/Star until his grandfather Bone saved him. Bone told him about the shitty actions that the clan cats have committed in the past and convinced him that Rusty isn't Rusty anymore, he's one of those monsters.

Hattie/Woodchipper: Hattie couldn't remember what had happened, only that she was sprinting out of the door at full force while her housefolk scrambled to get her. She didn't know what she did wrong, she was too scared to even figure out, she could only run. Life after that was hard for her, spending days and nights wandering the streets of twolegplace for any scrap of food. At one point during an altercation, she had her black collar torn clean off. One day, she felt herself lose all hope, and the tabby allowed her body to finally collapse and pass out into a dumpster, giving her life up for the crows and vermin to take. But during her time of being knocked out from exhaustion, hunger, and thirst, Hattie didn't know that a black-and-white cat and ginger tabby with teeth-studded collars had swat and batted hungry crows and rats away from her, hauling her unconscious body out of the dumpster and towards a safer spot. Tldr: Hattie ran away from her home (reasons why is unknown, however possibly implied to be from neglect/angered housefolk) and lived on the streets as a stray for a while until two cats found her passed out inside of a dumpster and rescued her and took her to Bloodclan so she could recover.

But, imagine, Socks; Ruby; Tiny; Princess; and Rusty were all from the same litter. Their mother is Quin and she is a Black and brown Tortoiseshell with blue/amber eyes. (Which takes care of Everyone.) While Jake is still their father.

So since Tiny is not even a year younger then Tigerclaw, ima make the litter be born around to time Tiny was so Rusty is near Tigerpaw’s/claw’s age.

Also, I’m making Rusty a girl, because I can. It’s a Au; so my rules.

Anyways, Tiny and Rusty go exploring together. Being the runts of the litter. Socks and Ruby still make fun of tiny, but also Rusty who is now Amber. Princess though is the biggest out of the litter and is a queen boss. Making sure Ruby and Socks aren’t getting away with bullying.

Tiny and Rusty bump into a apprentice and two warriors (Thistleclaw, Tigerpaw and Blueflower(fur))

Thistleclaw sends Tigerpaw to attack Tiny and he does, though Amber quickly jumps on Tigerpaw and fights to protect her older brother.

Showing this bravery, and seeing their 2-3 moons old, and now injured, Blueflower takes them back where Sunstar excepts them and takes them in.

Seeing that they don’t need milk and this is around the time where Snowpoppy(fur) is ¿expecting? So Snowfur take them in.

Amber becomes Amberkit and Tiny becomes Poolkit (he begs Sunstar to let him be named after anything but his size so he honors his request by making him Pool after his white paw. He becomes Poolfoot)

Amberkit spends every awakening Following Tigerpaw around like a little princess following her prince.

Tigerpaw even trains her secretly. Tigerpaw eventually becomes Tigerclaw and keeps training secretly in the Dark Forest with his former mentor Thistleclaw. He later becomes the mentor of Amberpaw though swears that he won’t let her train in the dark forest and says ‘If any of the dark forest cats even are seen in her dreams, I will personally kill them’

Tigerclaw gives Amberpaw all the training she needs. Even asking Sunstar to give him more time with training her so that she can be the best warrior. Now, Amberpaw didn’t like becoming a warrior later then Poolfoot, but excepts that Tigerclaw is only doing what’s best for her.

(Poolfoot was mentored by Redtail)

Amberpaw later becomes Amberheart. Being a really softy for kits and elders. This also makes Tigerclaw look at things from a different point of view.

When Bluestar becomes leader, she makes Tigerclaw actually become her deputy first. Trusting him as she saw him be transformed into a actually decent warrior after he mentored Amberheart.

After Bluestar died (she actually died earlier, around the time Rusty would have first joined as the fire broke out sooner and Bluestar got very badly burned which caused her to lose her last ¿3? Lives)

Tigerstar becomes leader and quickly changes things. Making Tigerclan with all clans. Quickly gaining the trust of Shadowclan and Riverclan, though Windclan took a little longer.

Amberheart became his deputy and they had their first litter. Bramblekit, Squirrelkit, Twanykit and Leafkit.

Brambleflower - dark ginger tabby tom with long fur and amber eyes (has white tints of fur and also has a star on his forehead like his father)

Squirrelleaf - Black and bright ginger Tortoiseshell she-cat with very fluffy long fur and bright green eyes

Twanyfeather- Mostly dark brown and pale ginger Tortoiseshell she-cat with long fur and has dark green eyes

Leafclaw- Ginger and dark brown Tortoiseshell she-cat with short-ish fur and amber eyes (has white tufts of fur here and there)

Tigerstar leads his clan better then expected as he turns out to be a better leader then most people thought.

In the territory’s, Tigerstar has the former other leaders look after their former territory’s though all cats most learn to hunt and patrol in each one perfectly, so cats now train got 12 moons instead of 6 like a medicine cat apprentice.

Tigerstar also has it where his most loyal warriors are spread across. Brokenstar, Leopardstar, Blackclaw, Blackfoot, Darkstripe, Longtail, Swiftfoot, Badgerfang, Mudclaw, Ect…

Emberheart is in charge of making cats stay loyal. There isn’t many cruel punishments, unless a cat puts all the clan in danger and their sentenced to death.

False Prophet AU

Rusty gets to join the gossip squad, and I want to add some more cats from the other clans. Rusty got all the Kittypet gossip and the gossip his halfbrother(Scourge) had shared to amuse the orange fluff ball. Sandstorm and Silverstream just seem like they would be great friends who talk and chat with each other, but I want them to have gossip friends in WindClan and ShadowClan too at some point too.

On top of that, I think that Rusty plans to mess with Graypaw and just Graypaw. And Sandpaw is going to overhear something involving a hushed conversation between Spottedleaf and Bluestar that leads to Rusty receiving training from both Spottedleaf herself and a warrior.

Rusty is in for a stressful and tiring experience and both Sand and Raven are both asking questions about why he has to go through that much, AND will try to comfort him in some way. Graypaw and Dustpaw rarely will interact with Rusty's schedule early on. StarClan is not in agreement on whether or not Rusty should be a Med Cat or Warrior, but he's not allowed to the special Med Cat meetings early on(or at all if he doesn't become a full time Medicine Cat).

Sand, Silver, Spottedleaf, and Rust are going to refer to him as Rustpaw or Rusty. I think, Rusty is going to resent being called Firepaw or "the fire", especially by the point that he gets his full name.

How to fix warriors

So I have this au in my mind that fixes the whole series and starts from book one. First it starts off the same, and then Smudge shows up and Rusty basically tells the reader that he used to have feelings for Smudge, but Smudge is into she-cats, not toms. Then Graypaw shows up, and when he comes into the light, Rusty describes him as being unbearably attractive. (Also when he meets Onewhisker he will think he's attractive, but will remind himself that he's from a different Clan.) Spottedleaf will be his childhood crush but later in the series, when he admits his feelings in a dream, she'll just laugh. Then she'll apologize for laughing and say that she only views him as a friend. They will be really close friends throughout the series and it will be really cute and I like them as friends. In my au, Spottedleaf kinda acts like an older sister. Anyways Graystripe and Fireheart will have a looot of gay moments throughout the Prophecies Begin. Him and Sandstorm still become mates. I didn't like how canon Fireheart literally has no flaws, so in my au his flaw is that he doesn't know how to have fun. Graystripe helps him to realize this. But also, he gives so much to everyone else and nothing for himself. And Graystripe helps him to realize that he deserves love too. He also realizes that he loves Graystripe and he always has. He tells him and then him, Graystripe, and Sandstorm, are in a poly relationship! I think that idea is so cute.

Dustpelt wouldn't be creepily waiting for the day Fernpaw becomes a warrior. They would show affection for each other after she becomes Ferncloud. The clans have more differences. Shadowclan lives in caves, Skyclan lives on a plateau, Thunderclan and Windclan stay the same, and Riverclan lives in a valley with a river flowing through it with an island on the river because the river is really wide and their camp is on the island. They also have different customs. I think Snowkit would survive the hawk, but we wouldn't know until Power of Three. He would survive by flinging himself out of it's talons. He would join The Tribe of Rushing Water. He would have a novella called Snowkit's journey. When Thunderclan visits The Tribe in Power of Three, Firestar will say he recognizes (insert tribe name (I dont know what it should be yet) .) He will figure out that its Snowkit and it will be a whole thing. Silverstream will be implied to be a trans tom. Like Graystripe saying "Why couldn't I have died instead of him?" and Fireheart wondering what he means, or Stormfur saying "I wish we could have known our Father- I mean Mother," (Silverstream came out to him in a dream. He also came out to Feathertail in a dream) Everyone in Starclan knows. Millie was already pregnant when her and Graystripe escaped. Graystripe isn't the Father, it was some other cat. During the journey, Millie admits her feelings for him. He tells her he likes toms and he already has a mate. Millie will always be jealous. Millie is horrible. Millie was horrible to Briarlight when she became crippled. She wasnt happy she was alive she, she just talking about how she'll never fight, or hunt, or have kits She was constantly fretting over Briarlight to the point where it was bad for Briarlights mental health. She wished she wasnt crippled because then Millie wouldn't worry about her so much. Millie was even neglecting her other children to take care of Briarlight! But in my au, there is an apology scene that is real and emotional. Ravenpaw and Barley will actually be canon. Same with Tallstar and Jake. Dovewings eyes are light green. I have my reasons for thinking this. And Scourges collar is purple. Midnight uses they/them pronouns. Ivypool x Blossomfall will be canon. Stormfur doesnt like his sister Feathertails relationship with Crowfeather because they're from different Clans, but he doesnt like his sister Squirrelflights relationship with Brambleclaw because Brambleclaw is def abusive to her and probably doesnt even accept her as a trans she-cat.

In my au, Yellowfang doesnt completly change in the second series. When Leafpool goes to the Moon Pool after the fight with Cinderpelt, she calls for Spottedleaf, but Yellowfang comes instead. She asks where Spottedleaf is and Yellowfang replies "She was gonna say something mouse-brained, so I came instead," In Starclan, Bluestar has to choose between Oakheart and Yellowfang. She chooses Yellowfang. Eventually, Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw break up. Probably soon after she has Alderheart and his siblings. Swiftpaw loved Brightheart, but she didnt love him the same because she is a lesbian and Cloudtail is a he/him lesbian. Mousefur is Aromantic. Lionblaze is autistic, Jayfeather has OCD, and Hollyleaf has ADHD. Leafpool always had a crush on Sorreltail. Then she fell for Cody. Cody obviously liked her back. The last thing she did before leaving was lick her ear, brush against her lovingly and say "I love you Leafpool. I wish we could be together but I don't belong here," Then she walked away. Sorreltail, who was watching, came out of the bushes to comfort Leafpool. Leafpools feelings for Cody had faded after being rescued from the twolegs and she started to love Sorreltail again. She confessed her feelings, but Sorreltail is straight and had a crush on Brackenfur. Meanwhile, Leopardstar is with Sasha, apologizing because she couldn't get the Clans to stay in the forest. She says she wishes things could be different and that she loves her. Sasha says she loves her too. Leopardstar promises to take care of Mothwing and Hawkfrost. Mothwing, listening, basically realized "guess im not the only lesbian" Leopardstar and Sasha decide to spend one more night in the forest together. Meanwhile, Leafpool and Sorreltail decide to spend one more night in the forest together. Meanwhile, Leopardstar falls asleep leaning on Sashas shoulder, while Sasha looks up at the moon. Meanwhile, Sorreltail falls asleep leaning on Leafpool's shoulder, while Leafpool looks up at the moon. The camera pans up to the moon.

I've been working on an AU idea for a bit now, and will start posting updates here about. This AU was HEAVILY inspired by @warriors-but-cats-die !!!

I will be posting similar updates to what you can see on his blog, with a few small changes. That being, I'm not including OC characters... I want to see if the Clans can support themselves without any added characters, and think the struggles that may arise would be very interesting. As well, I'm not following the warriors timeline too strictly. If the dice don't exile Brokenstar, then.... 👀👀 Lastly, while I'm starting at the same time that Rusty joins the Clans, I'm gonna disregard most of the previous familial relationships that are created prior to this. Just to help ensure I don't have any like accidental inbreeding or something (which seems to occur constantly in canon material). As someone who heavily obsesses over cat genetics as well, lots of canon characters may be getting redesigns.
