Yeah Hunter actually had seven designs in season 2 if you dont also count the variations on his GG uniform (then you can get it up to nine. Or even ten if you count the badly and well sewn sigils as different ones)

Theres his GG uniform, the hunting palismen outfit, the scout uniform, the Hexside uniform, the emerald entrails outfit, the labyrinth runners outfit, and the King's tide outfit.

And then with TTT we get some more eight (or actually more ten, because theres the honest to god eyesore of dark yellow shirt with purple triangles + the yellow sweater with the jeans)

So in total he has some 15/17/20 designs

Since my brain won't shut up about Hunter and also opposite colours on the colour wheel..

Allow me to ramble a bit about three pairs of complementary colours, used as lighting in Hunter's character arc to reflect the significance of what's going on and to reflect his internal state:

Orange and blue: I noticed that orange - a really warm colour - is when he is the safest and happiest. Blue seems to imply great danger, since it's also Belos's monster glow colour. Orange is alluded to at the end of Hunting Palismen but starts to come into the picture for him in Clouds On The Horizon, and is contrasted with the medium blue in Eclipse Lake, vivid blue in Labyrinth Runners and dark blue in King's Tide:

The most vivid orange shade was when Luz told him "You're family now", versus the vivid bright blue right after he got possessed and had the absolute worst night in his life:

The Noceda house basement where he and Gus stayed was mostly orange. The Halloween Festival scene showed both colours, showing the transition from safety to danger:

Red and green: Flapjack was a vivid red colour, and the artificial magic used by Hunter and Belos was the same shade. Belos's goop colour is a sickly dark green shade. Something tells me that red points to Belos's portrayal of strength on the outside and his agenda as Emperor, since the most striking red lighting we see in the show is related to the Day of Unity. (Whereas blue might point to his chaotic internal state that unravels especially in King's Tide and the final act of Thanks to Them).

It's interesting that Hunter has red lighting behind him, holding Flapjack in staff form as support, during the first time he stands up to Belos:

Hunter witnesses Belos's 'death' in the frame with the most striking red, contrasted with his dread that Belos was in fact alive in the following episode:

But what stood out to me when he was so caring towards Willow in the most recent For the Future, was that the lighting was also dark green:

Maybe I'm reading too much into it but it's a really interesting colour choice for an overlap between Willow (whose theme colour is obviously green) at her lowest point and Hunter being in such a painful vulnerable place himself, to be able to connect with her from the emotional place of releasing some of his own immense traumatic grief.

Compare this point in his development where he has beautiful moments of vulnerability, to way back in Hollow Mind when we are faced with the big reveal and he's surrounded by red artificial magic as his world truly started to fall apart:

Finally there's the combination I have saved for last, yellow and purple, comparing Hunting Palismen and For the Future:

If you notice, a prominent portion of Hunting Palismen had yellow backgrounds and lighting (the location being Latissa), and clearly he was the character who stood out the most in that episode, being unmasked and all that.

Whereas For the Future showed a good deal of purple in the Boiling Isles - including what I think is a muted purple in the photo classroom of Hexside - since it is Luz's theme colour and was building up towards Luz gaining her staff and Stringbean hatching.

It's also interesting that 1) in Hunting Palismen, Luz had the major struggle of not pairing up with any palisman but goes through the challenge of rescuing the palismen that are taken by Hunter, and she ends up getting to know him. But 2) in For The Future, Hunter suffers from major grief after losing his palisman, and faces the challenge of accepting the loss while Luz gains her palisman:

In For the Future, there is this short scene where the lighting harks back to Flapjack fading away:

Some scenes with very low saturation of colour, but very light or very dark value, also marked significant turning points in his arc:

For obvious reasons, the lighting is neutral and not striking in more light-hearted scenes (though the first half of Labyrinth Runners is a bit of an exception here), such as the flyer derby scene in Any Sport In A Storm, or the thrift store scene in Thanks to Them.

How I wish I could've sat in the pre-production and production team meetings where these lighting-related decisions were made. Let's see what will happen in Watching and Dreaming!

Bees were the runner up in the poll, so here they are

Okay sooooooo bees. This is gonna be formatted the same just probably shorter

The bee diet consists of nectar, honey l and plants. Bees are herbivores, their bodies are not built to process meat like Hornets and Wasps and it can make them sick. They have a cultural dish of Orantais (A Bee Territory fruit) dipped in sugar and chocolate. This food is usually sold inside the streets of the hive.

Their society is just like bees, except a little different. The queen rules everyone and everything and can make executions. All males are kicked out during winter, and if one stays, he’s killed brutally for not following orders. The queen’s heirs WILL NOT take the throne after she dies, the bees will choose whatever princess is best and follow her to build a new hive after the queen’s death. Selling royal honey is HIGHLY against the law of the First Queen… OH YEAH- THEY WORSHIP THEIR FIRST QUEEN, also known as Queen Pollen, the first queen of the bees. She was born before AE (After Evolution) and even before BE (Before Evolution) She was actually born in the Emerald Age, which is prehistoric. She made a specific set of laws and was also seen as a goddess… weird… I hope she doesn’t return from the dead… Princes do not matter and are still kicked out during winter, the princes are ALWAYS kicked out of the royal household and put up for adoption. Sad… The hierarchy consists of the queen, the princesses, citizens, and children. Higher ranking citizens will live close to the queen while lower ranking are pushed farther away.

The appearance of bees is not very complex and diverse. They always consist of white, browns, and yellow. They all have stripes. The colour of their eyes can vary though from red, blue, green, black, and purple. Queen Honeymoon has blue eyes which is a more royal family trait. The bees have thick, sturdy stingers that are usually reinforced with metals. The stinger is not as permanent as the hornets or wasps, and can accidentally break off. Though it won’t kill them, it just HURTSSS. Prosthetics exist though. Bees are much smaller than the wasps ans smaller than hornets. They are easily spotted in crowds of other bugs because of their unique appearance.

The bees are not an advanced species, they can’t build elaborate and safe cities like wasps or make elaborate hives like both hornets and wasps

They can’t see many colours and will shield their eyes from any brightly coloured bug like wasps and butterflies since they can’t see all those colours

The first bee queen has a faraway temple that is concealed and hidden

Bees will all huddle in the center of the in-hive city. The royal family will huddle in the royal winter huddle room which has a bunch of blankets, and a ton of rugs

Bees are not taught anything about the outside world which is why they walk right into danger. Wasps find this absolutely funny and have a saying that goes “Don’t be a bee, or you’ll be in the jaws of danger” which is just saying don’t be an absolute idiot and die

Bees can’t be born during winter as that’s against the law and creates complications. Bees born during winter are usually seen as criminals

Bees can’t spell. They were never taught anything and only know how to speak and abide the law

Art drawn by bees is so horrible, a group of wasps started weeping by just the thought of it… it’s horrible

OK SO as for the names there was a forum online that i specifically referenced with a guide to naming mlp ocs and it was hella funny, the gist was this:

i mostly ignored that first rule just bc a few of these ocs would not have a super """"girly"""" name so most of them are puns or figures of speech!!!!! theyre all based off of their ultimate talents or their personalities, which means what i do is i think of an adjective or noun that could be associated with them (for example, free runner -> light on her feet -> light) and then either think of a pun or go to google and type in "phrases with [word] in it" and choose one that makes sense (light + speedy = lightspeed)!! some of them were straight up references WITHOUT me mashing two words together ("turing" is from alan turing father of modern computer science, "chatterbait" is a specific type of lure for fishing while also being a reference on how sae tends to go on tangents lmao).

rie's was a bit of a struggle at first just because i was going back and forth between MULTIPLE names, like i was kinda set on her having a one word name like rarity but i needed it to be more specific to her?? she was royal charm for a bit, then royal, then PEARL (bc i looked at her actual outfit), and THEN the pearl jam pun struck me like the hand of god

I STRUGGLED THE MOST WITH ERINS NAME LMFAOOO!!!! which is why that name was not even my idea it was @makowo 's fhdjhgfkdgjkd. i was so ready just to call her pippy because:

BUT thankfully i got a much better name. also the idea of her cutie mark basically condemning her to a life of childrens entertainment is both horrifying and kinda funny. girl you are NOT getting a break even in the my little pony universe.

COLOURS WERE VERY FUN!!! just for the sake of them Being Recognizable as My Ocs i kept their hair colour the same lmfao, if i were to go back id probably get a little more funky (pearl gem could absolutely use some purple highlights). for their haircoat i typically would use a primary colour on their outfit and would sometimes adjust!!! for example, i knew i wanted naomi's haircoat to be associated with red as that is the main colour i typically associate with her, so the coat was the colour from her jacket. because her hair was already very dark, having the coat colour also be dark wasnt as clashing so i didnt need to adjust a lot!! i DID however adjust erins to be a bit lighter just because it looked nicer than having an extremely saturated yellow lol. hooves were usually decided by me choosing a colour on them (very typically hair colour) and either adjusting it to be darker or leaving it white in two cases!! OTHER COLOURS were decided based on how important the colour is to the character's outfit. like filly shapes/erin HAD to be yellow in my eyes just because she is soooooo bright + it sits nicely with the red hair, but because she is a very colourful character i added a whole lot of ribbons with the other colours of her costume :)) naomi got a few spots on her just because of her moles, sae got her birthmark, and a few other characters got their stomachs coloured in just because i thought it looked cool lmfaooooo

hardest to colour hmmmmmmmmmmmmm for RIE i initially had her coat as light purple, as she is a very purple character to me lmfao, but thought it would both compliment the hair colour and also accent the purple more if she was primarily white (the colour of her undershirt, ALSO i was looking up white show horses as reference for her specifically lol). so i went back and forth for a bit....... chatterbait also tbh. originally she was a lighter green colour for her jacket but then i was like nahhh the green on her overalls is better and went back. other than that they were pretty straight forward!!!! mouse trap and turing were the most obvious to me i feel like i had colouring in mind for those two from the second i placed my pen on my tablet

Like lazing across from each other at the dinner table. Steam billowing over mugs of earl gray tea, cookies that one of the nice old women in town had shoved into your hands just earlier that day stacked haphazardly on a plate between the two of you. Clear vase of purple catmint, yellow coneflowers, and whorled milkweed sitting at the end of the table runner to your left.

His chuckle turns into a snort as he scribbles onto a sticky note, peeling it back and slapping it down next to your mug as he turns his attention back to his phone. He's been doing this the entire time you two settled down at the table. You regret influencing his Instagram algorithm. Messy blue ink sprawls out the yellow piece of paper.

Like special occasions. You sit on the bed, watching him rubber band between the bathroom and the bedroom to get ready to leave. You've been ready for at least ten minutes, but he insists on looking his best for this party your parents were throwing, and that meant rummaging through his fancy fragrances. He's never overbearing with it- always just enough cling to him and his clothes. Neck, inner elbows, wrists- always, like clockwork.

He has no idea what the fancy words on the bottles mean, but he does know that he doesn't want to smell like anything resembling 'toilet', so eau de parfum is the next best thing. You can catch wafts of it lingering in the air as he moves, before he finally stands proudly before you, hands on his hips, and a proud wide-toothed smile on his face.

"Y'ready?"

Like freshly dried sheets. He dedicates Sunday to laundry day. The washer and dryer in the house are still pretty new and practically pristine, but he will always air out and pin up the bedsheets and pillowcases on the clothesline like Ma did when he was younger. It makes him feel better to shake them out and flatten them out against the line outside in the backyard- nostalgic, really.

Sometimes he lays down in the grass beneath them after a few hours. He stares up at the bright blue sky. Sheets dance along the cool breeze, like the fluttering fabric of a waltz. You watch curiously through the window the first few times, and eventually, you convince yourself to go outside and lay next to him.

And he welcomes you happily.

"That cloud looks like a cow."

You've test-sprayed it on your wrist before- sickly sweet caramel, strangely spiced- and you scrunched your nose at it. He laughed from the doorway.

It was supposed to "settle," he had said. Whatever that means. It had been maybe a month since he hid it away, so imagine your surprise when he finally pulls the bottle out. You cringe a little as you recall the scent while he mists it onto the collar of his button down, watching the fragrance just hook onto the fabric. He chuckles at your expression as he affixes one of his watches to his wrist. You take a half step back as he comes towards you, but the smell isn't nearly half as bad nor domineering as it first was- suddenly subtly sweet and tangy. He simpered as your expression mellowed.

"Better now, ain't it?"

Hahsjrhekhe yay an about me ask I love these ;)) (I personally think it's good to know about the artist cause it gives more background on how cool there art is)

1) ugh hard one, I really like neons (wow shocker right? /Sar ) but I do like warm colors like an orangie yellow kinda color, I also like greens a lot like sage sorta colors. My favorite to work with though would have to be purples and blue, you can never go wrong with those.

2) ugh this is a three way question I would have to say. When I OFFICIALLY started drawing and declared I'm an artist would have to beeeee- damn 4-5 years ago a bit before covid. But before that I did draw A LOT, not non stop but sorta just having fun with it :DD. When I started doing digital- mhmmm would have to say 2021 ish? I started with ibis paint x when my friend (theater the person with the bunny fursona I drew last night) forced me into it (in a light hearted sense).

3) For foooddd ugh I have to say Red thai Curry chicken, runner up would have to be sushi (California roll to be exact), tho I have tried some expensive dishes here in America they make everything too salty, but for expensive Wagyu beef (or steak can't remember-, also for people who don't know Wagyu beef/steak is one of the most expensive meats in the world if I'm not mistaken). For candy?? Mhmm I'm good with everything to be honest, as long as it's not a lot of something (like chocolate, peanut butter, ECT.) Candy should be a mix mash of different flavors (so should food be in general if you ask me) just gets disgusting after like 6 bites of chocolate cake if there's nothing to add a bit of extra spice.

4) inspired me?? Oh there's been many, mostly myself to be honest. For me idols aren't something I usually have, now I might have an artist I think is super cool and like yk start going bonkers whenever they answer my question or like my post ( *cupsie* cough cough-) but yk I've just always been a person that liked how things flow when it comes to art, always have. To me it's amazing how the human mind can think up all these amazing poses and just by adding color and lighting it can immerse you into a new world. Or- how a musician can think up lyrics by listening to a tune and it has so much deep meaning. Art is incredible to me how It can bring people together from different cultures,lives, ECT. And make people bond together over something like that. Now yes I am a very cheesy person as you can tell 😔😔.

*cracks knuckles* I literally did crack my knuckles right before I started to type this. I can literally ramble about my garden and gardening in general, you have just opened up a giant post. The thing I am most excited about this year is strawberries, very excited they are a new addition this year and I pre-ordered some red and some white ones. They spread via runners so within a year or so I will have a nice huge patch of them. Strawberries are both the cheapest and easiest berry to grow, though not technically a berry. Another new addition is peanuts! I wanted something with a long storage capability as well as something high in protein, while also not being too difficult to grow, peanuts fit the bill. I am also going to try sweet potatoes in a larger quantity this year, last year I just had one to plant that had been donated by the food pantry and I just could not produce much with it and it was also crowded with normal potatoes. I am still growing potatoes this year, I saved some potatoes from my fall harvest and they are going to be good to plant towards the later half of March. I am excited to replant my purple viking variety but I also got my hands on the all mighty kennebec. Perfect ratio of starch to make a good soup potato or a good fryer, also high yields!! I also plant to grow carrots, cosmic purple and lunar white. Radishes are going to make a return but I am adding a yellow variety instead of just de 18 jours radish. Everyone who knows me knows I will be attempting corn again, we had such a good result last year and it gave us a lot of food, I would like to triple production to donate excess to the senior center. I am growing moonshine, glass gem, and of course the ever amazing and personally endorsed damaun ks super sweet corn. I had so much success with tomatoes that I am branching into new varieties. Yellow, purple, orange, everything but red really. Going to go with some micro dwarf varieties like orange hat and patio choice yellow, the regular sized plant cherries I will be growing include yellow pear and bosque blue bumblebee, regular size slicers will be sart roloise, and kentucky beefsteak. Last year I grew many many many extra tomatoes and donated them by the bucketful to the senior center, family, and neighbors. And I was only growing a couple varieties last year. Pumpkins will be planted again, moranga, Rouge Vif D' Etampes, and of course the flat white boer pumpkin. I grew a crap ton of the white boers last year and they were a wonderful food source and the extras I gifted to people for decorations. I would like to try burdock root if possible. I have plans to grow a bibb lettuce mix, little gem lettuce, and merlot. For cabbage I am just trying one variety, a faster growing one good for early in the year so I can start gardening sooner, red acre cabbage. I failed with beets last year but now armed with more experience I hope to tackle the mammoth red mangel beet, it can literally grow to sizes larger than a toddler. If I can grow these I will be able to feed many many people beyond just me and the elderly lady I care for. Seriously though, google them, they are H U G E. I also want to grow some much smaller albino beets. For squash, other than pumpkins, I am growing yellow crookneck, candy roaster, honeynut, lemon squash, and golden zucchini. Hopefully I can fend off SQUASH VINE BORER. I would have had a lot more success with squash last year had it not been for SQUASH VINE BORER. In my gardening, I have many powerful enemies. The squash bugs that resemble stink bugs, and have the same stink power, the swarming Japanese Beetle, cucumber beetles, tomato.... horn... worms... the ceaseless devourer, but only one is my arch-nemesis and that one is SQUASH. VINE. BORER. And, my absolute favorite veggie, the sturdy and vigorous veggie that never lets me down, the cucumber. Varieties this year include poona kheera, dragon's egg, and pick-a-bushel. With this wonderful variety I shall grow many pounds of cucumbers, especially the high yielding pick-a-bushel. I hope to donate many of these. Now, for flowers, we don't have too many, but we do have a few. They are essential in attracting and supporting local pollinator populations but also in feeding birds. I am growing a few different types of sunflowers, the birds and pollinators go nuts for them. Chocolate cherry, russian mammoth, short stuff, and double sunking. If you are a novice gardener I cannot recommend sunflowers enough they can take some serious neglect and bad weather, droughts, storms, heat. They are so great, the senior center took some cut blooms for decoration and I still had enough for the birds and enough to save many seeds. I am also growing marigolds again and nasturtiums, which are also edible. I also was gifted some celosia seeds to try. For green beans I am growing two bush varieties, cantare and jade II green beans, they have excellent rust resistance which was a big issue for me last year. For onions I am only really going to try one variety and that is borettana, it grows fast and somewhat small, good for a beginner. Sadly I cannot actually grow any root vegetables in my clay soil, so all the potatoes/tubers/peanuts/carrots/radishes/beets cannot actually be cultivated here. The clay soil is hard and compacted and I dont have compost and soil to soften it up. I wanted to grow them in tubs, and I have a friend helping me get some to grow in, but I still have to raise over 100 dollars to get enough soil and mulch to fill them all. I also still have to get the cabbage, onion, some of the corn, some of the sunflower, and some of the tomato seeds. I do have two tubs filled so I can at least plant several potatoes. I am going to grow as much as possible and exhaust myself in the garden because I have a lot of people that get food from me and I cannot let them down. TADC AU time!

Since everyone's doing it thought I might make a TADC AU!!!

It's about Mire, (Not me the character) Faltor, Filorin, Falia, and Sninlia! The original characters are included too though!

Mire: Their head is an animated scribble that you can ever so slightly see the shape of an eye something. They wears a light-ish pink hoodie and black jeans, with one purple and one blue sneaker. However, when they are depressed, they wear a black and red striped over-sized sweater, with black runner sweatpants, and simple black and red sneakers with skull designs on them. They have the ability to basically transform their arms into tentacles to reach stuff. However, their entire body is actually made of one really long line thus they can only stretch so far. They can also store things in their stomach like it's a void of holding. Because of this, Jax likes to randomly shove stuff into Mire. They play the guitar and have anger issues. (Hint VERY gay)

Faltor: His head is a 2nd grader's impression of the sun. A yellow circle with yellow spikes. Yep. He has one eye placed vertically in the center of the sun shape. His iris is blue, but his pupil only shows when he's mad. Also when he is mad, all his visible outlines get fuzzy and static like. He wears the same demeanor of clothes as Caine just with different colors. Black button-down shirt with a white suit vest over it. The vest has a blue lining and little light blue clouds on it. He wears a blue ribbon around his neck, tied in a loose bow. (Although I should note that the sun shape floats a few inches above the neck.) He has white pants, and black fancy click-clack shoes. (Idk what they're called XD) He eats and drinks by just dumping the said food/drink in his neck. Jax likes to run his hand in between Faltor's neck and head, bc he's thinks it funny bc he's dumb. (Fight me)

Filorin: His head is a flame, glowing brighter or dimmer depending on his mood. He wears a simple back wool button-up shawl, covering his torso. He wears dark navy blue pants and simple buckle leather boots. He also has a little brown leather satchel. His eyes are little white circles that float a centimeter or two in front of his head. The circles are usually semi-circles as he is tired most of the time. He is very shy, and hates talking to people. (Unless it's Faltor) Yes, the fire that is his head will hurt and burn other people/items. Jax likes to toss random flammable objects into Filorin's head, to see if he can land a shot and watch it burn. Even though he hates talking, some people still try to be friends with him.

Falia: She is viewed as gorgeous by the other circus members, (Except for Faltor and Filorin and including Caine) Her head appears to be made of ink in a smooth sphere. She has a silver crescent moon shape on the front of her face, and a large purple eye filling most of the empty space left. She appears to be wearing 4-point star earrings (Despite having no ears) She wears an elegant black spaghetti noodle dress, that flows down, were there is almost a cape like section of the skirt that drags behind her. It seems to flow into stars and nebula's, looking like a piece of space was placed upon her dress. She has a cool, collected and royal manor. She speaks in a calm almost dead voice, the same every time. And no she doesn't get mad, or sad, or anything! That would be silly... (Heh heh, trauma related) Faltor is her brother, and she views his fondly. Jax will occasionally just...take scoops of Falia's ink to throw at Filorin. She acts like she doesn't care.

Sninlia: Sninlia's head is a snow flake. It has a very intricate and complicated, yet graceful design. (Which is why it makes it so difficult to get the shape back every time Jax melts her head) She wears a royal looking robe, (very similar to kinger's) except it's icy blue, and has icicles coming out the bottom. A light snow also drifts from the bottom of her robe, so you can always tell where she's been. She is rather quiet, but when she does speak she is very serious. Jax makes fun of her a lot for this. Jax also finds it fun to use Filorin's head to melt Sninlia's snowflake, forcing her to go place it in a mold like thing and freeze it again. Sninlia and Falia are dating (Although neither of them will admit it) and they are very close. Despite how Sninlia seems, she loves dancing to classical music or just dancing. She favors music quite a bit and will sometimes even listen to Mire play guitar, even though it's most definitely not her style of music. Sninlia is also Filorin's sister, and she wishes he would socialize more.

Jax: He is much more annoying with these new peeps around. Although, Caine and Bubble have noticed him blushing a little when he's around Mire. (Don't worry guys this isn't a cannon ship!)

Caine: He has a really big crush on Falia and has no idea she's already dating someone.

Ragatha: Yes, ButtonBlossom is cannon, but she likes hanging out with Filorin and Falia. Sometimes Mire, but only if she sees their lonely.

Pomni: She loves her girlfriend very much, and likes hanging out with Filorin. Although not that often, because she gets a bit weirded out by him.

Kinger: He didn't really like any of them but if he had to choose one to hang out with, it'd be Faltor. So they could autism together.

Gangle: Prefers to just hide from Jax, but occasionally try to talk to Filorin. *Ahem,* emphasis on the try

Zooble: Hangs out with Mire a lot and doesn't like any of the rest of them.

name meaning: clovis is a french name from the germanic name hludwig. it was the name of a frankish king in the 5th century.

background: he grew up on the streets of paris, an orphan. he often worked as an errand runner for whoever wanted to hire him, rather than keeping alliances, which made him plenty of enemies. he learned to look out for himself, and that he could only trust himself. when he was 15, he made the (un)fortunate mistake of trying to pick pocket phoebus and was caught. instead of arresting him, he invited him over for dinner, and thus begins what i call his feral cat era. aka, clovis comes to trust the chateaupers until they decide to adopt him. i just like the idea of esmeralda and phoebus adopting. definitely think they’d want to help kids in need however they could.

now, he’s a senior at auradon prep, and helps li sheng (li’l shang, as i’ve named him) captain roar.

Favorite Game: Hmm, is this board game or video game, or just anything with game in it? The first thing that popped into my head was Shadow Man and Eternal Darkness so we'll go with that. Both are immaculate horror video games from the late 90s early 00s. Shadow Man got a remaster a couple years ago so it accessible for newer gen machines, you can probably get it for cheap. Still waiting on that Eternal Darkness remaster (do not want a remake, I just want available for newer machines).

HEY SO apparently I never posted (or forgot I posted?) my Lanard Xenomorph collection here. But had something fun happen two weekends ago sO.

The green warrior and bronze runner were gifts from @sonohtigris​ and @abarateal​ respectively. I’ve had the giant purple queen for a while after I immediately fell in love with it on a Walmart run. Lanard sells toys exclusively through Walmart, which means they’re always fairly cheap but become an absolute bitch to find once they go out of stores. Their Jurassic Clash and Star Troopers original lines are moderately pricey on ebay for Walmart toys. I picked the white drone up from ebay myself! (along with a nice Dante from Dante’s Inferno (2010) Xbox 360 action figure)

These are the 6in 1:12 scale ones, they also have a smaller 1:18 range (think like... old GI Joes/small Star Wars figures) that comes with guys and vehicles. I don’t have any but I do know that there’s a MUSTARD YELLOW XENOMORPH which fills me with deep, deep delight.

I love them, honestly more that any of the realistic xenomorph action figures I’ve seen. The sculpt is good, there’s so much texture and a few nice differences between the figures (the hands, head, and forearms of the drone and warrior are different). And god bless but the colors are so so much fun. Since they’re proper toys they’re beefier and sturdier than smaller figures and I don’t feel nervous posing them. Just good toys tbh.

Anyway, two weeks ago I needed to kill time during my work trip so I swung by Walmart to buy a new bathing suit and you will not believe who I found!

It wasn’t even seven dollars... IT WAS FOUR.

Absolutely bought it. I had waffled on which drone to get from ebay and settled for the white, but god damn do I love the.... idk what to call this. Neon red? Neon red drone. Atrocious. 10/10

That means I own the full second set! First set has realistically colored facehuggers (with the white drone), second set has GITD (glow in the dark). The first set warrior is blue. Boring. Don’t need it. And the runner is like... A slightly uglier metallic, the bronze is superior.

Anyway. Really happy about that.

I just need to pull the trigger on some old 2018 Jurassic Clash dino rider toys and I’ll basically be set for my Lanard collection, unless I want to bite on a Star Troopers set because the bugs are really cool.
