...Thinking about how everyone refers to the two worlds in the Tron franchise, the one inside the computer, and the world outside of the computer.

In Betrayal, Flynn them "the Grid," and "the Real World."

In Legacy, he refers to one as "In there," And Clu refers to the other as "out there."

When I'm writing RP, when Ed's aware of the world inside the computer, he often refers to whichever side he's not on as "the other side of the screen."

Not sure what I'm getting at, something about the way what they refer to each world tells you a little bit about their perception of the two.

Where did we come up with the term 'user world'? We're missing a term that I think fits most programs' perception of the world outside the computer much better. The one that Dumont calls it in the original movie.

Anyway, I just think "The Realm of The Invisible" sounds much cooler, and fits how most programs view users (and thus the seemingly mystical place they come from) better.

Hi, anon! It depends on how literal your definition of “nest” is. While Sebastian wouldn’t clamber up a tree to build an abode of twigs and straw for his S/O, those demon instincts might compel him to wrap them in several layers of blankets and pillows to help them feel more secure, in a similar vein to this ask about how he’d dote on an expecting Mey Rin. However, I also like to use Seb’s nesting behavior as a manifestation of general protective urges, even when no child is involved. One example that comes to mind is a scene from Chapter 4 of the The Owl and the Raven, where Sebastian swaddles Mey Rin in blankets to comfort her after she’s molested by a particularly loathsome dinner guest. His methods may be unconventional by human standards, but he tries to keep his beloved safe as best he can. 🖤

So I'm mad curious if Sebastian's blood is like making Mey Rin slowly immortal or something in the story, considering I imagine humans and demons are very very different physically of course and having a mental bond of some kind with a demon, where normally they have those with OTHER demons not humans, is very taxing. I've read many stories of humans falling in love with immortal creatures like yokai and the contrast so how the yokai sees love vs the human. Its SO interesting x3 <3

After having a quick chat with @bapydemonprincess (I’m pretty sure we’ve discussed this topic amongst ourselves before, but I can’t recall whether either of us has actually posted about it), we came to the consensus that, while ingesting a little of Seb’s blood and sharing such a profound connection with him might give her a moderately extended lifespan compared to ordinary humans, Mey Rin wouldn’t experience drastic physical changes. She’s not sprouting horns and morphing into a full-fledged demonness anytime soon! But I agree that it’s fascinating to explore the dynamics of these human/nonhuman pairings; that’s just one of the many reasons why both of us love Sebamey. 🖤💖
