I've really enjoyed the livestream of Queen Elizabeth's lying-in-state. Not only to see the different ways people are honoring her, but also just the ambient sound of it. It's not really ASMR, it's just peaceful room tone.

I always wanted to go back to Windsor Castle the next time I go to London, but this is also making me make sure I find the King George VI Memorial Chapel so that I may finally pay my respects. (I see curtseys as signs of respect, not signs of submission, so I will most definitely curtsey.)

I don't know about everyone else but I've been getting kind of overwhelmed by the sheer amount of content I have to be excited about this year- definitely a good problem to have. I've compiled a chronological list with all the things to watch out for throughout the rest of this year.

GUYS! GUYS. LISTEN!!

Life series winners ROYAL AU?!

I made an au where the winner of each season of the life series is given a 'crown' at the end/their victory. After that, the winners are escorted into this 'castle' or palace of some sort. They now rule, they now have the power, they are on top... or it seems to look like that.

Actually, the watchers just want to keep them somewhere, lock them in a building, they aren't allowed out until there's an new series. But they do indeed, have power and status to rule over the 'losers'.

Instead of the rulers changing every season, let's have them SHARE the status and power that the ruler have. They are all equally powerful, so the more people that are in the castle, the less powerful they become.

So what do they do?? They try to win again. The more you win, the more control you have, the less power you lose.

They also have stained glass paintings of the winners, all right next to each other, each labled

'The sun'

'The moon'

'The stars'

'The mars'

Even though equally powerful, some rulers are favored and liked more than others, some see them based on how honorable their victories are.

Martyn isn't liked verry much, he lacked honor in his victory, they all see him as a blood thirsty power hungry man,

Pearl is also always behind grian's shadow, him being the sun and all.. but it won't be a big problem if pearl's life in double life hadn't been so lonely. She couldn't escape her loneliness even AFTER the series is over. (I need to confess that I made this au based on Celestia and luna from mlp)

Also there seems to be a pattern amongst victories.

What really frustrates me with the whole "KP" narrative is in one of the 40th birthday articles, it was said if anyone approached Kate with "It would look good if you did this or that", she just wasn't interested because she's not interested in doing what looks good - which we can see as she's done many good works privately, like donating her hair for wigs, or the time she spent with the Starlight Foundation before she married - So I really don't get this idea that KP needs to do what looks good since it's clear Kate just isn't that kind of person, she's not someone who thinks in a celebrity way but in a way that works for who she is as a person. And to be quite honest, I think this is actually a smart move. We know from past issues with the BRF, that many members felt a lack of control over their lives or felt they had to do what the palace wanted. It is clear Kate doesn't feel that way and actually has control over her life and how she lives it which is mentally much healthier. I hope now she can continue that and enjoy spending time with her precious family.

The Goth Mansion towered over Pendula View like a dark cloud. Somehow the Goths had convinved Pendites that they were the chosen ones who were always meant to rule the country, and one day, the world. Which is why they deserved this montrous mansion while most people lived in squalor.

The luxuries of the outside world were not forbidden from the Goths. Jewels, cars, foods. Even their young son, Alexander, wore clothes worth more than people's homes. Keeping Pendites poor, ignorant, and isolated was the key that allowed the Goths to maintain power.

???: Sorry, I'm late, ladies. I wasn't sure if I felt like engaging with you today. But, I'm feeling generous, so figured I can grace you both with my presence.

???: No worries, at all, Your Almighty Excellency. We don't mind waiting.

???: Yes, and we weren't waiting long! The tea is still somewhat warm.

Bella: Excellent. So what utter nonsense is going on today, Lady Westbrook?

Sawyer: Um, well. We were certainly glad to hear that your spirits are well enough to meet with us considering...
