Insomnio
Una treinta de la madrugada, escucho el sonido de la notificación dada por la entrada de mensajes en mis chats, de aquellos quienes son mis amigos; notificación del like de uno de los tantos tiktok’s hechos; y comentarios que serán olvidados luego de veinte cuatro horas. 
Lo efímero que es el momento surca por mi mente, este pensamiento es confirmado cuando nuevamente miro el reloj, dos am de la mañana, se reproduce perfect y solo sueño con poder vivir esas letras en carne propia y desde mi alma hacia el exterior. Ultimo mensaje mientras la siguiente canción se reproduce (la cual habla de un amor falso) todo sucede mientras contesto a quien me pregunta cosas mías, personales, y dando a entender que esta realmente interesado en mi, contesto como lo he hecho decenas de veces. Y como las mismas decenas de veces me pregunto ¿Por que no siento nada? ¿Será que el ultimo se llevo tanto de mi que mi corazón es casi inexistente en este momento? ¿O solo respondo por el hecho de no querer hacer daño ni romper el corazón a nadie?, me inclino por la ultima. Me conozco. Hay belleza dentro de mi egocentrismo y pureza dentro de mi empatía afectiva. 
La hora avanza una ultima mirada por las redes sociales, ignorando los post demasiados largos y deteniéndome en los cortos que luego serán olvidados, efímero, como lo es todo, y a semejanza mi memoria y la de muchos porque mañana nuevamente escribiré y muchos ya habrán olvidado las palabras de hoy, y nadie recordará las de ayer.

Henry’s Nighttime Routine
Day 23 – Sweet Dreams Are Made of These: Create a nighttime routine for your character. Must include at least 7 steps!
Each night, Henry goes to bed knowing a nightmare is likely. For a long time, he chalked it up to the stress of transferring to Pride U and being in Swynlake, and then after the nightmare fog event, decided that it probably had to do with some strange nightmare magic afoot in Swynlake. 
However, since consulting with Mei, Henry has a strong suspicion that there is a mara in Swynlake that has been targeting him. Since discovering this, his bedtime routine has not really changed-- but he knows that having a good bedtime routine can’t really ward a mara off. All it can do is increase his chances of getting a better night’s sleep. Still, for this reason, Henry takes his nighttime routine seriously.
So without further ado... Henry’s nighttime routine!
First, Henry makes himself a cup of tea. It’s a blend that Augusta got him for Christmas last year when he mentioned he likes to drink tea before bed, with lavender, chamomile, peppermint, lemongrass, and passionflower. He has an electric kettle by his desk and an Oxford mug that he usually uses. 
While the tea is steeping, Henry changes into his pajamas. He tends to wear old-timey button-up pajamas because he’s bougie like that but he does have a couple of pairs of regular flannel pants and t-shirts if he’s feeling that more.
Next, Henry plugs in his phone by his desk and picks up a book. Henry tries not to use his phone before bed; social media stresses him out, so he’ll only reply if it’s an emergency once he’s started his nighttime routine. For this reason, though, Henry always keeps his ringer on. He likes to read classics and fantasy stories (usually the problematic ones lol); for a while he was working his way through the Eragon series and now recently he’s been enjoying Dune (who wants to see the movie with him?!). He usually reads for about thirty minutes.
Then, Henry brushes his teeth, flosses, and uses mouthwash. He has good oral hygiene! He also occasionally uses whitening strips. He’s a little vain!
Fifth, Henry does some light skincare. He washes his face, exfoliates, uses an eye cream, and moisturizes. You can usually find him humming to himself as he does this, and he gets really into it. Sorry to Henry’s neighbors.
Sixth, Henry checks his weapons under his bed. He usually does this only when his roommate isn’t looking. Just in case something goes wrong in the night and Henry has to spring into action.
And finally, Henry gets into bed and does a little meditation before he goes to sleep. This usually carries him off into dreamland. It’s usually something like picturing his happy place (the Lake District) and then counting down from ten as leaves fall from the trees. On a good night, by the fourth or fifth leaf, Henry is asleep. But even a good nighttime routine isn’t always enough to cure Henry’s stress sleeplessness some nights. A guy can try, though!
