Ouhh,,, I'm so normal about this family bro I swear,,,

I tend to flip-flop between making Rome their father or their grandfather. I usually go with the father route, but I do have AUs and storylines where he's their Nonno :)

(In addition to the point above, a plus-side of Rome being their dad is Romano gets to call him "Babbo". I also like calling him "Babbo Roma")

Romano looks the most like Rome. It's more apparent when you compare him to Rome's younger self when he didn't have as much muscle or stubble. I like to think they have a bust of his head in their shared apartment and, upon first glance, other nations often mistake it for a statue of Romano.

I mentioned this in a previous post but Romano and Rome share the same name. For the sake of simplicity, however, people usually call him Romulus.

Rome is 165 cm, Romano is also 165 cm, Feliciano is 170 cm, and Seborga is 178 cm. Romulus is very impressed with Sebby's height, and always compliments him on it. One of his favorite compliments is telling him he would make a great centurion with the right training (at which point the twins have to cut in and say no their baby brother will NOT be a soldier of any kind, thank you)

Rome is definitely very protective over his boys, which I'm sure is something their partners enjoy dealing with. I have fun imagining what his reaction would be to various partners/ships.

In the case of GerIta/ItaGer, I wouldn't be surprised if Romulus demanded Feliciano break up with Ludwig as soon as he found out he was German (as if Feliciano would listen) kdhfkj

I talked about this headcanon on my main blog (in Italian, though), but I'll bring it up here too. Rome usually spoke to his boys in some form of Latin, but he began learning Italian when Seborga joined the family. The kid was probably around 3-4 years old when Rome first met him and obviously didn't speak a lick of Latin.

Now onto some more serious stuff:

Rome lived past 476 AD. The last time Romano and Feliciano saw him was around 546, when Romulus sent them out of the city at the tail-end of a devastating siege on Rome during the Gothic Wars. They were separated to increase the chance of one child surviving- one heading north and the other heading south to their respective territories. Whether he survived past that is unclear to many nations. Some claim they spotted him in various places throughout Europe, a husk of the man he once was. Others believe he lived in hiding in the Byzantine Empire. No one is certain about what happened to him, and his ghost has a difficult time remembering what happened after the Gothic Wars.

This is deserving of its own more analytical/detailed post, but here are my two cents on what their relationship/dynamic looks like (in my mind). Though Rome loved his boys deeply, and the brothers loved him in return, life was not always peachy. There were certainly a lot of expectations put on their shoulders from a very young age. Rome had spent his entire life building an empire and a legacy, something he wanted to live on through his descendants, namely Romano. The firstborn, the fighter, and the one who commanded attention easily. The one who looked and acted the most like Rome did in his own youth. Under the right guidance, he could be shaped into a leader. However, this meant the boy was often scrutinized heavily by those around him and judged more harshly than his twin. He wasn't respected as his own person and was merely seen as an extension of his father/grandfather. Feliciano, on the other hand, was on the "weaker" and "softer" side. Rome adored him and coddled him, treated him more gently than Romano, but he didn't really respect him, if that makes any sense? So Feliciano felt the need to compete and one-up his brother to prove his own worth, even if it caused the brothers to start fighting (physical altercations were not uncommon). Romulus didn't seem to notice these issues. How could he when he was often away from home? In his eyes, his family was doing just fine. They seemed like two happy kids whenever he was around, and any fight that broke out between the twins was often chalked up to "brothers will be brothers"/"boys will be boys". These familial issues went completely unchecked for most of the boys' lives, and it wasn't until more modern times that they started to reflect on their childhood and its impact. Not all was doom and gloom in their childhoods ofc, but there were certainly quite a few issues. Like I said, this probably needs its own post kjfdgk

A week ago, I asked you to name your favorite character, 2nd favorite character, and least favorite character. I wanted to see there was any kind of relationship between a favorite character and 2nd favorite/least favorite, like if people tend to have one character as their second or least favorite due to the character’s relationship and interactions with their favorite. But, well...

Thank you to the 178 people who responded to my character poll and to all the people who reblogged the post!

So, some results were expected.

Personally, I was surprised to see the amount of Chev fans that were also Silvio fans. Also Chev and Clavis being high on the list for Silvio.

And while Clavis is the second favorite for most Chev fans, the same can’t be said in reverse. I wonder if it’s route related.

Looks like Silvio had the most votes as 2nd favorite for Yves. Is it the tsundere?

Chev and Gil share a top 2...sort of, since Silvio and Clavis are tied for 2nd in Gil’s. Chev and Gil are each other’s 3rd most voted second fave.

Hostilities in the Gaza Strip and Israel | Flash Update #56 (UNOCHA)

On 1 December, at about 7:00, hostilities resumed following a humanitarian pause that started on 24 November. Heavy Israeli bombardments across Gaza, as well as ground fighting and indiscriminate rocket fire from Palestinian armed groups to Israel have been reported. As of 20:00, at least 178 Palestinians have been killed and 589 injured, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza (MoH); no Israeli fatalities have been reported in this context.

OCHA Under-Secretary-General Emergency Relief Coordinator Martin Griffiths stated that the pause had “offered us a glimpse of what can happen when the guns fall silent...We need to maintain – and build on – the progress in aid delivery. We need civilians and the life-sustaining infrastructure they rely on to be protected. We need the remaining hostages to be released immediately and unconditionally. We need a humanitarian ceasefire. We need the fighting to stop.”

Since the resumption of hostilities on 1 December, and as of 18:00, no aid convoys or fuel deliveries have entered Gaza and aid convoys ready to enter Gaza have remained on the Egyptian side of the border. Humanitarian operations within Gaza have largely halted, except for services within shelters and limited distributions of flour in areas south of Wadi Gaza (hereafter: the south). The evacuation of wounded people and dual nationals to Egypt, and the return of Gazans stranded in Egypt, have also stopped.

On 1 December, the Israeli military published online a detailed map, where the Gaza Strip is divided into hundreds of small areas. Reportedly, the map is intended to facilitate orders to evacuate specific areas ahead of their targeting. The publication does not specify where people should evacuate to. It is unclear how those residing in Gaza would access the map without electricity and amid recurrent telecommunications cuts.

On 1 December, Israeli forces dropped leaflets ordering residents of localities east of Khan Younis, in the south (Al Qarara, Khuza’a, Abasan and Bani Suheila) to move to the shelters in the Rafah area. As of 21:00, no major displacement from these areas has been reported.

Under international humanitarian law, parties to a conflict must take all feasible precautions to avoid, and in any event to minimize, civilian harm. This can entail evacuating civilians or giving effective advance warning of attacks, which provides civilians enough time to leave, as well as a safe route and place to go. All possible measures must be adopted to ensure that those civilians displaced can afford satisfactory conditions of safety, shelter, nutrition, and hygiene and ensure that family members are not separated.

In the West Bank, since 7 October, over 3,000 Palestinians have been arrested, with more than 160 in the past six days. Many of them have been arrested without being presented direct evidence of an offense. According to the UN Human Rights Office, six Palestinian men have died in Israeli custody during this period, a decades-long high.

Big Creek Bridge Vista Point, CA

The Big Creek Bridge is a 589-foot (180 m)-long, open spandrel, concrete deck arch bridge located on the southern portion of the Big Sur coast of California, along State Route 1 near Lucia. Opened for traffic in 1938, it crosses Big Creek Canyon on this scenic, mountainous coast.

Constructed during the Great Depression and identified by Caltrans as Bridge No. 44 0056, it was opened for traffic in late 1938. Its construction was partially funded by the federal government in connection with the Works Progress Administration. Situated high above Big Creek canyon, this bridge has remained open while many others on the Pacific Coast Highway have been closed due to mud slides. There are parking areas at both ends of the bridge to allow motorists to stop and take photographs.

Its two main spans are open spandrel arches, each 178 feet (54 m) long, while the 116-foot (35 m)-long side arches are cantilevered to the canyon walls. The 24-foot (7.3 m)-wide bridge deck provides for two lanes of traffic and is 65 feet (20 m) above the ground below. Christian Theophil Gutleben, noted for his reinforced concrete arch bridges throughout the California coast and in the Los Angeles area, was the designer. The structure got a seismic retrofit in 1999.

A change to some transit commuter’s schedules can be expected at the end of the month, as Halifax Transit plans to reduce services across the city.

Beginning Feb. 27, bus routes 41, 178 and 179 will be temporarily suspended due to “ongoing staffing shortages.”

“You can work up to, easily, 60 plus hours a week, and that’s too much,” says Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) Local 508 president Shane O’Leary.

He says the staffing shortages are the result of Halifax Transit fostering an environment where people don’t want to work.

“Every division at transit is short-staffed. The maintenance department, the ferry division, they’re all short-staffed.” [...]

An overdue headcanon on Yīnyuè since he is slightly different compared to Dan Heng ( though they also have a lot of overlaps. ) This will apply for threads that take place in the past. As a general disclaimer, my portrayal of Dan Heng is more interwoven with Yīnyuè than he is in canon. I have been developing him this way since I made this blog and that is the route I have chosen to take with his characterization. While they may appear as two people, they ultimately share the same root, and coming to accept his past / that they are the same individual at their core, is one of the major plot points that my Dan Heng is facing. This is different compared to canon where Dan Heng is clearly rejecting his ties to Yīnyuè. For my own portrayal, he will eventually accept it and embrace his true self. As such, these tidbits will also have relevance to the present day Dan Heng.

APPEARANCE

■ㅤYīnyuè had larger horns than Dan Heng. ■ㅤHe was taller ( 178 cm to Dan Heng's 172 cm. ) ■ㅤHe had fully black hair that was also noticeably longer. ■ㅤHe always wore a matching bracer and earring with Yingxing.

GENERAL INFORMATION

■ㅤHis name is Yīnyuè, not Dan Fēng. This is going against canon but I cannot deal with the fact that they only changed a singular letter. Yīnyuè, when written with the 阴月 characters, translates to " cloudy moon. "

■ㅤHis common title was naturally High Elder or Imbibitor Lunae, however he also went by gōngzǐ ( 公子 ( young ) master ) or diànxià ( 殿下 your highness. ) These terms were predominantly an indicator of respect for his high status as Imbibitor Lunae, but also carried connotations of youth and aristocracy, which both reflected in Yīnyuè's status during this timeframe.

■ㅤYīnyuè was highly respected as a High Elder. He was known as one of the most prolific Vidyadhara of his time, accomplishing several great feats that earned him the admiration of others. As such, a lot of people continued to believe in him even after he committed an unforgivable crime later on — to a point that some of them, such as the High Elder guards once stationed by his side, died for his sake and refused to betray him.

■ㅤYīnyuè was primarily responsible for the seals of the Ambrosial Arbor, however this was not his only duty. He was also a healer and figurehead for the Cháo, a court outside of the military. There, he was involved with matters of knowledge, particularly relating to alchemy and medicine, and would teach / archive any information that was gathered in lieu of being positioned there. As such, Yīnyuè had access to things others did not.

■ㅤHe joined the High Cloud Quintet young. This made his later feats all the more remarkable, given that he was not that old for a Vidyadhara. He was also one ( if not the last ) member to join the group, but managed to easily establish himself once he did. During the decades they spent as a unit, the High Cloud Quintet reached a legendary status on the Luofu.

■ㅤTogether with his position as High Elder, being a member of the Cháo and his role in the High Cloud Quintet, he eventually earned himself the byname " Dragon King. " However, Yīnyuè never acknowledged this title.

■ㅤYīnyuè's known crimes are the following : sneaking Yingxing into the Ambrosial Arbor to conduct research without prior authorization, failing to maintain the seals to the Ambrosial Arbor, engaging in actions related to obtaining immortality, preventing the ability for Vidyadhara after him to undergo hatching rebirth, inciting a riot by usurping the rule of the Six Charioteers of the time and challenging the Seat of Divine Foresight.

■ㅤYīnyuè did not undergo a true hatching rebirth. Instead of returning to the ancient sea and forming a shell, the forced molting he underwent has been equated to a form of " de-aging " instead. This is why he and Dan Heng share many similarities and seem more alike than Vidyadhara usually do after being reborn. It is also why Bailu will never inherit his abilities. At their core, both Dan Heng and Yīnyuè are still the same people, which is atypical for Vidyadhara, who usually establish a completely new persona.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

■ㅤAt the time of his forced molting, he was 300 years old. If he had not undergone this procedure, he would have lived another 400+ years. For a Vidyadhara, who can live several centuries, this was still young.

■ㅤHis dragon form was larger than Dan Heng's current one. Yīnyuè was not only older, but he was also trained by Vidyadhara Preceptors, making it easier for him to tap into the full potential of the Azure Dragon's legacy.

■ㅤYīnyuè always carried himself with an air of calm elegance. A great example for his poise is the outward body language of the character Shen Qingqiu. ( If you know, you know. ) There was always a certain amount of deliberation to his movement and actions, highly reminiscent of the standards one might expect from a noble or a member of royalty. This stood in stark contrast to his early youth, where Yīnyuè was a little more cocky and a bit of a rebellious child, who mellowed out with the years.

■ㅤMuch like his current self, Yīnyuè was fond of spending his times with quiet hobbies — unbeknownst to Dan Heng, he inherited many from him, such as reading and brewing tea, but he also enjoyed writing ( calligraphy, creating elegies, ... ), solitary ( and sometimes shared ) walks around the lotus ponds and, more rarely, he indulged in spending time in the water.

■ㅤHe always wore a húlu on his person, a bottle gourd that was said to have fabled healing properties due to carrying medicine inside. The hùlu was believed to absorb negative qi and is a traditional Chinese medicinal cure. It is also said to be a symbol of longevity. In Yīnyuè's case, the medicine was furthermore mixed with water from the Lunarescent Depths of the Scalegorge Waterscape, further amplifying its medicinal properties.

■ㅤIn spite of his incredible combat prowess, Yīnyuè predominantly served as a battle healer who did not interfere unless necessary. He was typically stationed in the skies, keeping an eye on the battlefield and interjecting at the right moment to ensure his companion's safety. Occasionally, he would summon his powers to wipe out their enemies in a strategic approach, but avoided it due to the devastating effects of the disasters he summoned.

■ㅤAs an addendum onto this, Yīnyuè's ( and also Dan Heng's ) abilities are affected by his emotional state. Depending on the severity and type of emotion, this might be no more than a light, calming drizzle of rain or a vicious tempest / tsunami that lashes out at his environment. Because he is aware of that, Yīnyuè schooled himself into being extremely calm.

■ㅤThis also led to Yīnyuè fulfilling his duty with a cold detachment, in particular his role as Imbibitor Lunae. He understood the consequences of failing to perform it correctly, as well as the fact that no one else could do it in his stead. Furthermore, allowing his emotions to get the best of him would have become mentally overwhelming after centuries of doing things he would otherwise never even have considered. Perhaps in part due to this, he perceived himself as a vessel above all else and never thought of his position as a High Elder as something to be proud of.

■ㅤOut of the entire High Cloud Quintet, he was closest to Yingxing and deeply cherished him as a friend and confidant. The two often spent time together even outside of their duties, not seldomly sharing drinks beneath the moonlight and whiling the night away. When Yingxing met an untimely and violent end, Yīnyuè made a desperate attempt to save him with the Draught of Draconic Surge, supplying his own bone marrow for the potion.

The Co-Worker, Elise/Elijah/Eli Mergersa (El-eeze/Eh-lie-jah/El-ee Mer-ger-sa) (all versions nicknamed Ellie) [F/M/NB]: They’re your closest co-worker, and live in the same company-provided apartment as you. You probably wouldn’t call them your friend, but their presence at the office does provide a familiar comfort. Ellie is naturally calm, but not indifferent. Their logical persona is what probably got them hired. Order matters to them, but only because it benefits everyone live peacefully, and definitely not because they're scared of authority figures such as, let's say, Orenic.

If on the romantic route: Friends to Lovers (theme: trust, reliance)

Appearance: Ellie is 187 cm/6 ft 2 in tall. They are of Ethiopian descent (Oromo people). Their eyes are a dark brown. They have a rich, earthy brown skin tone. Their hair is often worn naturally; Elise’s afro scrapes her neck while Elijah and Eli’s afro is just above their ears. They have a solid body with a little bit of a chubby tummy, and despite being tall, they're light on their feet.

The Scientist, Tarali Bhujel (Ta-ra-lee Bu-jyal) [F]: She’s one of the few that knew about your existence. All Tarali's ever known is Orenic—after all, her parents worked for them, and that's what prompted her to become a scientist. Although not ignorantly stubborn, Tarali has firm beliefs she lives by, and truly thinks that her work is important. You heard her walk into your office, and you'll never forget the determined clicks of her shoes.

If on the romantic route: Strangers to Lovers, slight Enemies to Lovers (tensions ooh)

Appearance: Tarali is 173 cm/5 ft 8 in tall. She is of Nepali descent. Her eyes are a dark brown. She has a warm, russet-brown skin tone. When she smiles, Tarali has deep dimples. Her hair is a wavy black, reaching down to the waist. She often wears it up (in a bun/claw clip). Tarali has pierced ears; a simple earlobe piercing. She has a soft body type, and legs that make her look taller than she actually is. She has a faint, thin healed scar on her right hand from a bicycle accident when she was 9.

The Other, ??? [F/M/NB] (B2): They’re like you, in the sense that they are literally made by the same company. Not much is known about them.

If on romantic route: Strangers to Friends to Lovers (theme: kinship, first love)

Appearance: B2 is 178 cm/5 ft 10 in tall. They look of Turkish descent. Their eyes are a light brown. They have a tanned, cool beige skin tone. B2's caramel brown hair is slightly wavy, and in a time of bad judgement, cut it into a mullet-type style that reaches down to their collarbones. They have straight, toned body type. Orenic wasn't very creative with their android models before you.

The Spy, Haesoo Shin (Hae-soo Shin) [M]: He’s also working for Orenic, but he’s got a secret. Haesoo is part of an organization that seeks to stop whatever scheme Orenic has planned before the whole company goes downhill. His demeanor toward you is cold, but he seems to get along with the other employees just fine. You saw him once, leaving work, and he was chatting lively with some girl, too. What's his problem?

If on the romantic route: Enemies to Lovers (read: lots of regret tm)

Appearance: Haesoo is 183 cm/6 ft tall. He is of Korean descent. His eyes are dark, dark brown (appears black). He has a warm ivory/beige skin tone. Haesoo keeps his straight, black hair short, and its fluffyness is often kept back with gel (although most of the time, it doesn't work). He has a lean muscular body.

The Haywire, Ángel Valletta (Ahn-hel Val-le-tah) [NB] (A1): They’re also an android, but they’ve gone rogue. As the very first prototype of the project, Angel's seen a lot more and knows a lot more than they should, and they plan to use it to their advantage. In fact, you probably wouldn't know Angel was robotic if you happened to pass by them in the street. Have fun trying to figure them out.

If on romantic route: Strangers to Lovers (idiots in love psssst)

Appearance: Ángel is 170 cm/5 ft 7 in tall. They look of Colombian-Italian descent. Their eyes are a dark hazel color, although sometimes it looks green, depending on the light. They have tanned, olive skin with slight freckles. Their curly hair is cut to their shoulders, and layered. Angel has a tattoo of the name “Maria” beneath their left collarbone. Their body is rectangular, much to their dismay, and is very average.

All characters above are set to be in their late 20's (Ellie, Tarali: 28, Haesoo: 29) to their early 30's (Angel: 31, B2: 30).

All romance routes have elements of Forbidden Love.

It is 177 miles between Calais and Paris. I standard rail ticket for a train taking 3hours 18 minutes is £39:12; for a train taking 1hour 56 minutes the cost is £59-67. All trains are direct.

Liverpool is 178 miles from London. The only price available is £72:70 regardless of speed of train, the fastest taking 2 hours 20 minutes, the slowest taking 2hour 50 minutes. The latter fare involves a change of train en route.

To clarify: A train in England from a coastal city to the capital London, costs twice as much as a comparable train journey in France.

Why is this?

In France the railways are state owned and regarded as an essential public service.

In England, the railways are run for private profit.

The technopolitics of port management occurs at the point of convergence between automation technologies, algorithmic security, supply-chain streamlining, and a degree of fantasy. The element of fantasy is present in two areas. First, fantastic monsters of terrorism, violence, and insecurity are conjured as threats to port or terminal security, and equally fantastical solutions are offered which subject ports and ships to surveillance, security bureaucracies, and useless red tape. The conjurers of these nightmares of terror are often security ‘experts’ who, along with their cargo of fear, sell their security expertise. Shortly after the Dubai Ports World bid for the management of six US ports was rejected, a number of professors of management or political science scared up such scenarios of danger using the ever-reliable method of fearmongering dressed up in game-theory models. They argued that terror threats lurked everywhere, and mapped 132 different ‘pathways’ through which dirty bombs, biological or chemical weapons, or simple explosives could be smuggled into US harbours. The response, according to a sombre Heritage Foundation report, should not be ‘simplistic security proposals that focus on inspecting containers and handing out federal port security grants’, but rather expanding the inspection power of “the Coast Guard not just around the US coasts but around the world, improving the distribution of commercial information, and the nebulous exhortation to ‘enhance international cooperation’. The solutions – third-party security companies, complex customs-inspection regimes, and classified threat-modelling algorithms – embed port managers worldwide in global webs of security and surveillance. In effect, a combination of coercive and hegemonic solutions to the threat of security bolsters the power of the US as arbiter and pace-setter of port and maritime security worldwide. These ‘security concerns’ then shape the commercial landscape by influencing ‘transnational regulations, the routing of goods through particular gateway ports or passage points, data surveillance, labour discipline and risk management algorithms’.

The Zenobia is regarded as one of the top ten wrecks in the world. The Zenobia was a Swedish Ferry which sank on her maiden voyage in June 1980. She now lies at short distance from the port of Larnaca with 104 fully loaded lorries onboard. The top of the wreck is at 16 meters and the seabed where the wreck lies is at 42 meters. The Zenobia is suitable for all levels or certified divers including the most demanding technical divers.

A truly amazing experience to see the ship which at the time of sinking was fully loaded with cargo lorries, it’s a great experience to see the extremely large vessel quietly resting on the sea bed with its upper deck cargo of lorries laying on the sandy bottom surrounding the vessel A must for any qualified diver. The wreck turned into an artifcial reef and became home to large Groupers, Barracuda, Moray Eels, Sea Bream and Amber Jacks. Zenobia routes: 1. 2 things I will never get over from P&P for very different reasons.

1. Darcy's 'You do not scare me' when Lizzie talks about scaring off people/suitors with her outspokenness and stuff

2. The fact that Lizzie's reaction to meeting Darcy in the park is: 'oh, better tell him it's my fav walking route so he knows to avoid it. We both don't want to see each other, so that'll be great.' Only to be baffled when this man actively tries to meet her on said route every single day.

I can't pay you, but I would listen very intently if you wanted to rant about the MCU!

Well, since you asked! TBH I actually have several main issues.

First, do you know the queen song Another one bite the dust? That is basically the theme for these movie now. They have gotten downright murder happy because (Second issue) the plots of every movie after endgame are exactly the same. They can’t elicit an emotional reaction from the story anymore so they murder a beloved character for emotion points. The plots of recent marvel movies is nothing more than a cinematic hallucination. Once you realize there isn’t anything of substance there you can’t unsee it. I mean, half the characters and all the sets are CGI, so even they aren’t real! If the characters didn’t work themselves to the bone to look ‘hot’ (Which i personally consider debatable. But this isn’t a rant about societal bs beauty standards) then wore tight clothes with an occasional teasing bit of nudity no one would be interested. i suspect you’d get better plots from a bad prono. (and i say that as a sex-replused aroace. So you know how little the recent films have been impressing me if I’m going “I bet a porno would be better.”)

Third, character development. There isn’t any. They have an interesting character? they either reduce them to a flat one note painfully obvious ‘archetype’ or repeat the original character arc or take the easy route of making them evil. Look at the himbo-fication of Thor. If that character had been handled well he’d have realized that he’d been borderline abusive/extremely emotionally neglectful of Loki for years, realized his mistakes, learned to value people different from him and have grown into a character that taught people how to move on from their mistakes. Instead he’s been turned into a blameless human shaped golden retriever who has everyone he cares about graphically murdered in front of him and gets mocked for having a full on mental breakdown. Look at Loki and Scarlet Witch. Instead of addressing their trauma (Loki found out he was the thing his entire race was violently racist towards and had a mental breakdown, attempted suicide and was tortured by Thanos before being made to lead an invasion. Wanda lost everyone she knew and loved in violently devastating ways) Do they get a natural progression to their characters? NO! Their original arc is in increasingly obvious disguises and they are reduced to one note cartoonish villains.

Four, the interconnectiveness of everything. Like . . . look this thing has been going on for so long some of the people watching it now weren’t even born when the first movies came out! and if you haven’t watched every single movie, show and one off toon ever made since Disney bought Marvel you have no idea what’s going on. You can’t just skip the movies you know you won’t like and just watch the ones you are actually interested in. YOU WON’T UNDERSTAND A SINGLE BLOODY THING IF YOU DON’T WATCH OVER A DECADE OF CONTENT! Now, this has been a raising theme when it comes to tv shows recently, where you have to start at the beginning otherwise you don’t understand it. It annoys me there too. But even Supernatural eventually had an end after fifteen years. The ‘Marval Cinematic Universe’ is going to keep going until doomsday and beyond without stopping. At this point i want someone to pay Disney to just let it stop. Like let it end. Have people talk about and make videos on youtube about ‘the Marvel Generation’ and how insane it was, spoken in past tense. I am a huge fan of the Neverending Story but this story needs to end. It is like a faniction that should have ended on chapter three but is on chapter 178 with no end in sight. The author doesn’t even know what’s going on anymore. Please just let it die while i still care about it enough to say “Aww, man! That’s a bummer.” Please god just make it stop already.

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PBUH)’s BIOGRAPHY :The Expedition of Sons of Lihyan

(5th year of The Migration, the beginning of the month of Rabiulawwal)

The tribe of Sons of Lihyan had martyred about forty (or seventy) Muslim guides and teachers near the place called Bi’r al-Mauna in 4th year of the Migration. The people that surrounded the group of Muslims sent as guides and teachers to the place called Raji’ and martyred several of them also belonged to that tribe.[ Ibn Hisham, Sirah, Vol. 3, p. 178-193; Ibn Sa’d, Tabaqat, Vol. 2, p. 55-56; Ahmad Ibn Hanbal, Musnad, Vol. 2, p. 94. ]

The Prophet appointed Abdullah b. Umm Maktum as his deputy in Madinah and set off with a group of two hundred soldiers in order to punish that tribe. The Prophet wanted to take Sons of Lihyan by surprise. Therefore, he pretended to go toward Damascus. Then, he changed his route and headed for the valley of Ghuran, one of the places where Sons of Lihyan settled. Asim b. Thabit and the other Muslim teachers and guides had been martyred there. The Prophet asked mercy for them and prayed for them.[ Ibn Sa’d, ibid, Vol. 2, p. 79. ]

Sons of Lihyan had heard the Prophet was coming; thus, they took refuge on the mountain. Nobody was caught.

Then, the Prophet reached the place called Usfan. It was near Makkah. The aim of the Prophet was to make Makkans understand that he was there. As a matter of fact, Makkans heard about it and got very afraid. The Messenger of God returned to Madinah fourteen nights later.[ Ibn Sa’d, ibid, Vol. 2, p. 79. ]
