Hello,,,, I have a spider I thought you might approve of she is a green huntsman I found her today!! Also I was wondering if you had any good podcast/yt channel recommendations for learning about insects and spiders??? They are my greatest love and I love learning about them sm sm

That didn't even look like a real animal at first, she's so green!! Absolutely gorgeous!! 🕷💚

Surprisingly, I don't really have any channels/podcasts I follow, which makes me think about how I should look into it 😤 I do have a few book recs though! Most of them skew a little more towards butterflies/ants, especially the former since that seems to be a more popular subject, but an overview with some neat bug facts + human interactions can be found in one called Bugged: The Insects Who Rule the World and the People Obsessed With Them by David MacNeal!

There's an additional book I read on harvester ants, but I unfortunately don't have the title/author, only some pictures of pages; I've got a fair amount of butterfly book recs as well, but I'll leave this at that unless there's a specific request for them 🦋

On a side note, I should also say to new people who follow me that I do tend to cuss a lot on this side blog. If this bothers you completely I recommend you either block me, tag my posts with TW swearing, or don’t interact with me at all. Thank you.

But other than that, if you are a decent person, I don’t mind if you hit me up in my DMs for talking. I love getting to know different people on my blogs and I’m always happy to start a conversation whenever you want to.
