Has the Lord been good to you? Has the Lord been faithful to you? Has He been faithful to His Word spoken concerning you?

While you might have felt grateful and said a word of thanks for the goodness of the Lord, have you testified about it? Ron Kenoly in the song, "I Testify Today", encourages us to testify of the goodness of the Lord and even testify of our pledge of allegiance to the Lord, and to Him only; for we are His.

Take a step back and reflect of God and all that He's done for you. Even if you can think of nothing, just consider the gift of life. Tell someone of God's love and goodness. No caso de Douglas Vida, sua jornada como cantor começou nos alicerces familiares, imerso em um ambiente onde a música e a fé se entrelaçam desde muito jovem. Filho de um músico e de uma cantora de coral, Douglas absorveu a paixão pela música como parte de sua identidade.  A jornada musical de Douglas teve início na infância, vencendo festivais desde os cinco anos de idade. "Com cinco anos ganhei meu primeiro festival de música, com uma canção do Marcos Antônio. Com oito anos comecei a estudar teclado e com nove passei a ministrar louvor. E daí não parei mais", revela ele, descrevendo como seu envolvimento com a música cresceu ao longo dos anos. A reviravolta na carreira de Douglas como diretor da série "Jornada da Vida", que começou com uma experiência desafiadora no mercado artístico. Uma frustração se transformou em inspiração, levando-o a criar a série musical que se tornou um verdadeiro testemunho de superação. "Decidi transformar um videoclipe em uma série. Escrevemos alguns episódios e isso foi o início da série ‘Jornada da Vida’. Desde então, temos vivido milagres e atuar como diretor no audiovisual tem sido uma experiência incrível”, compartilha Douglas. “Eu tenho formação teatral como ator, então tenho aplicado alguns dos princípios do Teatro Musical e alguns dos princípios que a gente aprende nesse contexto Broadway para o audiovisual”, complementa. Entrando em Nova Fase A mais recente novidade na carreira de Douglas é sua entrada no time de cantores da Nova Fase Music. Essa oportunidade surgiu através da série "Jornada da Vida", cujas músicas despertaram o interesse do selo musical. "O contato com a Nova Fase Music veio através de um festival das bandas de garagem. Nós participamos de uma das fases, foi uma experiência maravilhosa. A gente trocou experiências e conhecemos mais pessoas e tudo isso foi muito construtivo para a gente”, pontua. “Nossa expectativa com a Nova Fase é realmente de um tempo maravilhoso e tem muita novidade vindo por aí. Eu creio que a Nova Fase vai contribuir muito com a gente, pois juntos a gente vai crescer muito e alcançar muitos lugares”, salienta. Douglas Vida define seu estilo musical como “congregacional”, buscando alcançar todas as idades. Suas influências variam do pop ao clássico, passando pelo congregacional e black music. Com a parceria com a Nova Fase Music, ele espera agregar ainda mais à sua identidade artística, misturando diversos elementos. Entre suas referências musicais estão alguns nomes como Ron Kenoly, Adhemar de Campos, Asaph Borba e Diante do Trono.
