Janus: Remus is kind of like the sun to me.
Roman: Aww, is that because he’s the light of your life?
Janus: No, it’s because the longer I stare at him the more I regret it.
Roman: But you love him right?
Janus: I, uh...
Remus: {runs into the room wearing a rainbow cape} Babe look! I’m a gay superhero!
Janus: oh my god
Remus: {looks in Janus’ eyes very serious} I’m SuperGay. {winks and laughs, runs out of the room again}
Janus: Nevermind, I love him.

HAPPY DUKECEIT WEEK DAY 1
Prompt: Truth/Dare
Pairing: Janus x Remus
Tw: Sexual inuendos
Au:Human, college
@dukeceitweek
@spacedouterri
Janus Castillo was a complicated guy. He typically kept to himself, despite being a typical view at a college party. Rumors spread like fire, light whispurs shushed as he sulked by nose buried in a book. He was mysterious, yet edgy always paired with his slick leather jacket. A jacket he fit so perfectly into it just highlighted his figure.
Which meant Remus found him incredibly intriguing. His sharp piercing stare, eyes narrow, darkening as he spoke.His voice itself, a confident racous sound. Yet it almost seemed soft as well, barely above a whisper though that didn't mean it wasn't able to send a chill down ones spine. An unknown mystery, was he a top honors student, was he a rebel, somehow both? Either way Remus yearned to know more. Not only did it peak his curiousity and creativity ; he was extremely attractive.
So when Remus found himself dazing off at a Friday night party, gaze focussed ahead at the chatting chucking Janus, he just knew he had to go up to him.
He sauntered himself over towards Janus, "hey! Janus is it right?" he greeted with a grin, eyes shimmering with hope. "A group over theres playing truth or dare, care to join?" He took a quick glance around, "I mean its kinda just you not playing sooo It'd be weird if you said no-" he pointed out.
Janus froze, he raised an eyebrow before slowly gazing up towards Remus, eyeing him up and down for a moment (which was enough for Remus's heartbeat to rapidly increase). "Hm, sure why not," he replies, "I like your jacket by the way," he adds after a moment of walking with him.
Remus couldn't help but smile, gripping onto his jacket tight. His eyes grew wide, blush rising to the apples of his cheeks. "You should see me without it, and the rest of my clothes to be honest," he coos, clicking his tounge as he spoke.
He bounced on the balls of his feet eagerly, as he continued to fidget with his hands, extremely jittery.
Janus huffed, his head tilting upwards towards Remus. He narrowed his eyes meeting his gaze with the other. "Oh really?" he quipped, almost in a whisper. Janus chuckled, stifling back a smile of his own. "Can't believe you won't even tell me your name first I mean isn't that a bit rude?" he jabs teasingly.
Remus stumbled, blush darkening to more of a crimson shade, "Remus!" he exclaimed in response, "Remus Adelio," he added quickly. Oh my god, he was actually talking to Janus and it was absolutely amazing.
Yeahh Remus had a huge crush on him if it wasn't already a crush it was definitely one now.
The truth or dare game had gone as expected, mostly casual though a few interesting things until finally it was Remus's turn.
His face lit up as he turned towards Janus next to him, "truth or dare!"
Janus sighed, rolling his eyes at the othee before he spoke up,"dare, why not," he hissed. Janus tapped his fingers on his arm mindlessly, waiting for Remus.
Remus's scooted himself closer, glancing down to Janus's lips before his eyes darted at his eyes again. "Kiss me," he smirked, "unless you're too scared or something because I get it I'm just too intimidating," he cackled, trying to ignore his obnoxiously loud heart beat. Remus could feel his face heat up, anxiously waiting for Janus's answer.
Though, before he could muster another word he was yanked forward, lips smashed into Janus's. Remus's eyes blinked closed as he leaned himself forward, his hands running up and down Janus's sides. Remus's lungs ached and yet he absolutely loved it, every short shared breath between them, the way Janus's lips would gently puff against his own.The connection, the spark that hit once their lips met. Remus melted into Janus's tight embrace, captured by his soft lips. Remus only paused for a moment to mumble small sayings.
Janus hummed contently, cuping the others face ever so gently.
That kiss was only the first of many.

Fic Request for Sanders Sides: romantic crack of Remus and Janus sharing a bed, the more ridiculous the better!
I’m so sorry this took so long 😭😭😭😭 school, work, and my health has been kicking my ass lately shsjnsbzjbsnsjsb
Word count: 473
Ship:Demus
Fandom: Sanders Sides
Triggers: none I believe- though tell me if I’m mistaken.
Janus sighs letting himself sink into his bed. He cuddles into the warmth of his heated blankets, finally feeling himself relax. It has been a very very long day with the other sides and all he wants is to rest. (It sometimes felt like the whole Thomassphere was against him getting rest) He moved his hand from under his blanket to hold onto his boyfriend's arm. This is a very rare moment of peace and Janus plans on savoring every second of it.
Remus (on a dare) had decided to drink a gallon of gasoline a few hours earlier and had promptly passed out. He lays on top of the bedsheets drooling and kicking every few minutes. He mumbles incoherent thoughts that Thomas had throughout the day while clenching his tattered blanket.
When a particularly hard kick jolted Janus awake he signed looking over at his (surprisingly) still sleeping boyfriend. A small puddle of drool was forming on Remus pillow and small red dots formed where he had clawed himself. Janus smiled to himself, running his fingers through his very messy green hair. It felt wiry and hard despite how fluffy it looked. Janus squinted at the clock on his bedside table, unable to read it without his glasses. Whatever time it was, it was late and he didn’t feel like getting out of bed just yet. He took his hand out of his boyfriend's hair when he felt something bite his finger tip. He smiled again and decided to just rest his hand on Remus’ hand. He tugged his blanket back to his chest and felt himself drift back to sleep.
When the sun hit his lidless eye Janus felt himself wake up again. Feeling the stinging of his dry eye he reached over to his bedside table for his eyedrops. Though instead of a plastic bottle he felt something furry. He turned his head to see a ball of fur, tentacles, and many MANY eyes. The ball pressed itself against his hand vibrating and making clicking sounds.
“Do you like it!?”
Janus jumped suddenly, feeling Remus jump on top of him. He relaxed, realizing it was just his boyfriend.
“Oh, by the way I wouldn’t put my hand there.”
Janus looked over at the creacher seeing it open what looked like a mouth with too many teeth to fit. Janus snatched his hand back and Remus took it as an opportunity to grab his hand and poke at his scales.
“Remus dear?”
“Yes bee vomit?”
“I love you.”
“I love you too! Oh I have to go before Roman wakes up, I got him a present!”
Remus grabs the creature and rolls off the bed falling through the floor. Janus then reaches for his eyedrops and heads to the bathroom. He has a feeling it’s going to be a fun day.

Overruled, Chapter 7: Seven O'Clock
Tumblr media
Prev - Seven O'Clock - Masterpost - [ AO3 ]
Day 7 of @loceitweek, Watch/Clock Tower. I took some liberties with this title given the left turn the characters brought the story at the end there. Can't fight the power of intruloceit!
WC: 3774 - Rated T - CW: some swearing, discussions of sex
Janus had asked to meet at seven o’clock at the café but Logan arrived early to secure their table. And to give himself something to do after he’d finished his conversation with Remus.
The surprise in Remus’ voice when he’d called still squeezed his heart.
Then his heart had cracked right through when Remus had explained it was because he’d thought last night had been their final date.
“Remus…” The other man’s silence had stunned him, as though part of him still expected Logan to reject him. “Nothing could be further from the truth.” He paused, but Remus was still quiet, listening. “I… I am quite fond of you and…” If they’d had this much difficulty communicating face to face, there was no way this conversation would work over the phone.
“Are you free to go for a walk together?” he asked, impulse overriding his sense at the last minute request to get together.
“You want to see me now?” The incredulity in his voice stung and Logan didn’t need much imagination to picture those bright green eyes wide with shock. Or narrowed and guarded with suspicion.
“To talk and… make plans for another date if you are amendable,” Logan explained. “Only if you are not busy. I would understand if—”
“Meet me at my room.” There was a muffled sound like he’d covered the mouthpiece and another voice. After a moment, Remus returned. Please,”  he added.
“I will be there in ten minutes.”
~
Nine and a half minutes later, Logan knocked on Remus; door, the sketchbook and charcoals from last night tucked under his arm, and a pale green celosia bloom in his other hand. He smiled when Remus opened the door and he offered the flower. “Remus, thank you for—” he started, then stopped, eyes narrowed as he peered closely at the other man’s face. “Remus?” he said. Something wasn’t right.
“Good,” the other man said, unsmiling. “You passed.”
“I told you he’d be able to tell the difference,” Remus said from behind the door. He stepped out and tilted his head toward the nearly identical man standing next to him. “Roman, this is Logan. Logan,” he smiled, gaze lingering on the flower in his hand. “This is my brother, Roman.”
“You didn’t mention your brother was your twin,” Logan nodded, looking between them. Particularly side-by-side, their eyes and mouths were immediate giveaways. Then he noticed how differently they were dressed, with Roman in a flowy, deep crimson top tucked neatly into impeccable dark indigo jeans and matching argyle socks. Remus was barefoot and wore ripped cutoff jean shorts and a sleeveless Green Day hoodie over a long-sleeved waffle knit henley.
“I suppose you don’t get mistaken for each other very often,” he murmured.
“On the contrary,” Roman groaned, rolling his eyes.
Remus reached for the flower Logan still offered. “Okay, can I go out and play now?” he grinned at his brother.
“Not yet,” Roman said, hard green eyes boring into Logan. He squared his shoulders and smiled faintly when he realized he was slightly taller. Then he stabbed a finger at Logan’s chest and frowned. “You make my brother cry again—”
“Ro!”
Roman turned to his Remus. “He did.” He waited until Remus gave a half nod, looking down at the floor, then returned fiery eyes to him. Logan’s heart clenched at the way Remus curled into himself, but he dragged his eyes away to face Roman’s fury. “If you hurt him again, I will find a way to hurt you.”
“I assure you,” Logan inclined his head to Roman. “I was completely unaware the way we ended our evening caused Remus any pain. It was never my intention and if I’d had any inkling…” He turned to Remus, searching his eyes. The surprise in his voice when he’d answered echoed through his mind. “If I’d had any inkling of the impression I’d left you with, I would have elaborated last night. I am truly sorry I hurt you, Remus.
“I intend to rectify that error. To make amends and find a way to make it up to you.” He bowed his head with a little smile and offered his now empty hand. “If you will allow me?”
“What kind of flower is that?” Roman asked, eyes narrowed. Remus examined it more closely, and his face exploded in a grin.
“It is a celosia bloom,” Logan said smoothly, winking at Remus. “It has been known by other names as well, of course.”
“We’re going!” Remus announced, ruffling his brother’s hair as he passed. Roman squealed and scrambled to smooth his locks back into their previous style. “Thanks, Ro, don’t wait up!” he laughed.
Roman pierced Remus with a glare. “You’re not getting out of dinner tonight!” Remus simply waved and Roman rolled his eyes then, let the door slam shut.
Standing together in the comparatively silent hallway, Remus grinned at him.
“We have much to discuss before that sort of date,” Logan murmured with a little smile.
“Yeah, I figured,” Remus shrugged. “I just like fucking with him.”
Chuckling, Logan tapped the flower in his hand. “May I?” he asked. When Remus nodded, he tucked the flower into Remus’ hair. “Lovely.”
“You know this is a cockscomb, right?” Remus asked, waggling his eyebrows and brushing his fingers over the fuzzy petals.
“Mm-hm,” Logan hummed, offering his arm with another little wink. “I grow them in a flower box in my apartment.”
“You are full of surprises, Nerdy Wolverine,” Remus purred, tentatively hooking his hand on Logan’s forearm. His fingers relaxed, then, after a moment, gripped with more confidence.
Logan smiled back at him, then tucked Remus’ hand a little closer against his side. “As are you, Prince Remus.”
They walked together in near silence until they’d reached the Quad. The paths were mostly empty, that quiet period on campus when late afternoon classes hadn’t yet ended and the dining hall wouldn’t open for another hour or so. Remus chewed his bottom lip, fingers twitching and tracing the seams on Logan’s sleeve. His other hand was shoved in his pocket and he watched his feet as they walked.
Finally, he looked up at Logan. “So last night really wasn’t a… a pity date? I didn’t… I didn’t fuck everything up and make you…” His shoulders curled in when Logan stopped walking and faced him. “Make you not want me?” he said, voice uncharacteristically quiet.
“Oh, Remus, no,” Logan shook his head gently and set down the art supplies. He cupped Remus’ cheek, thumb brushing gently over his lower lip to free it from between his teeth. “Last night was wonderful. You were wonderful.”
“But I… I didn’t do anything.” Confusion and sadness battled in Remus’ eyes and it was all Logan could do not to just pull him into his arms and kiss away his worries. But that was exactly what Remus didn’t need in this moment. “You snuck me into the library and bought me such a thoughtful gift and brought a picnic and…” He met Logan’s eyes. “And I didn’t do anything.”
“Remus, you were you,” he said, bringing both hands up to either side of his face. “I got to share a place I love with you. And you shared your wonder with me. And your art.” Remus’ eyes widened, the tiniest spark of a smile lighting up his face. “You were funny and creative and smart and beautiful and…” Logan nodded, breath hitching. “And, yes, very sexy,” he added, voice lowering. “I believe you… perceived that when we were kissing.”
Remus’ cheeks warmed beneath his hands and the memory alone was enough to make Logan’s pulse race. Then Remus’ face fell, confusion returning.
“But… but why didn’t you want to… to be with me? Everyone else I’ve been out with… that’s…”
A pair of undergrads meandered down the path, drawing nearer. Logan scanned the quad before pointing to a large ginkgo tree a few dozen yards away. “May we sit and talk?”
He nodded and walked with Logan toward the tree, a bit of his smile returning when Logan reached for his hand and laced their fingers together. They settled at the roots of the tree, Logan’s back against the trunk, with Remus leaning against his chest. He sighed, a brief, content smile flashing across his face, arms covering Logan’s around his middle.
“Remus, you are worth so much more than a single night of pleasure,” Logan began plainly, leaving nothing to chance, nothing to interpretation. “Yes, I want you.” Remus turned in his arms to face him, and hooked both legs over one of Logan’s. “I am very attracted to you,” he said quietly, rubbing circles against the small of his back. “But not only physically.”
He smiled when Remus met his eyes. “I want to get to know more of you. The parts I’ve already seen, your energy, your humor, your intelligence… your sensitivity… You are remarkable.” He brushed a soft kiss at the corner of his mouth. “I care for you, Remus. And I feel we have the potential to build something truly beautiful between us.”
“I… I’d like that. But…” Remus hung his head. “I might have already fucked that all up.”
“You’ve done nothing wrong,” Logan insisted.
“I…” He shook his head, hiding his face against Logan’s chest. “You didn’t hear what I did yet.”
Logan didn’t let go, simply nodded and murmured. “I’m listening.”
“Well, last night, I… I was really upset and… That’s not your fault, I’m not saying that, I…” Slouched against Logan’s chest, he glanced up and winced. “I went for a walk and I… I bumped into Janus and…”
Logan frowned. “Did you fight with him?”
“Oh, no!” Remus shook his head. “No, no, Janus is cool, I…” He shifted against Logan’s chest, head hung low. “I slept with him. And… I’m… I’m going to see him again.”
“Oh,” Logan breathed. Cold seeped up from the ground and through his skin and he closed his eyes.
‘We won’t all break your heart, Logan…’
“Are you…” Logan’s voice cracked. Had he just made a fool of himself? Had he already lost his chance with Remus? And Janus… He pushed away that thought. One person at a time. While Remus wouldn’t meet his eyes, he hadn’t pulled away and he’d agreed to speak with him. Perhaps…
He took a deep breath and wrestled down his initial assumptions. And his hurt.
“Does this…” He pressed his lips together, momentarily grateful Remus had hid his face. It meant he didn’t need to hide his own. “Does this impact your desire to pursue a relationship with me?”
Remus’ head jerked up and Logan—too slowly—papered a neutral expression over his face. “Logan…” he whispered, reaching up to touch his cheek. “No!” he said firmly. “No, I was afraid it would make you not want me. I… I like both of you,” he admitted.
A low chuckle melted the ice in Logan’s chest and he nodded. “I care for both of you, too.”
“I told him so!” Remus laughed, draping his arms over Logan’s shoulders. “Jannie will be fucking thrilled to hear that!”
Logan nuzzled against his neck with a happy laugh, his sudden joy contagious. He breathed deeply, inhaling the intermingled scents of cloves and cinnamon and, yes, a faint brush of Janus’ cologne. He pulled back at a sudden worry. “Was he concerned your encounter would impact our relationship?”
“Fuck, no!” Remus shook his head and settled into Logan’s arms. “I told him you rejected me last night. No, Janus likes you, too.”
~
“Necktie?”
Janus’ voice pulled him from his reverie and he looked up before rising to his feet, chair scraping across the floor. He smoothed down his aforementioned tie and gestured to the seat in front of him. “I hope you do not mind, I took the liberty of saving us a table…” He looked around the nearly empty café. “Since it was so busy,” he added, putting on a wry grin.
“Excellent,” Janus bowed his head with a little smirk. “Otherwise, we might not have managed to find a place to sit.”
Despite the tension in his chest over Janus’ ominous ‘we have to talk’ message, despite his certainty Remus’ insistence that their feelings were mutual was—at best—magical thinking, Logan smiled as he sat and picked up his coffee.
“I should order,” Janus said, turning toward the counter. “I’ll—”
“Decaf affogato with cinnamon?” a server asked behind him, a pot of brewed coffee in one hand and a tiny ornate cup of coffee and ice cream in the other.
Janus raised an eyebrow and accepted the cup with a murmured thanks. The server refilled Logan’s mug and returned to the main counter.
“How—” Janus stared down at the cup in his hands before raising it close to his nose. He sniffed the blend of scents, a bit of steam billowing over his face. “How did you guess?”
“You have ordered that twice before during our study sessions here,” Logan shrugged with a smile. The pleased surprise in Janus’ eyes was a shot of warmth through his heart and his smile grew when he sat down across from him. “And you consistently order decaf after five o’clock.”
Cheeks flushed from the coffee’s heat, he stared back at Logan. “I like the aroma,” he murmured, before taking a careful sip. “Thank you, Necktie.”
“My pleasure,” he nodded, and took another sip of his coffee. “I… I know I said this earlier, but I am relieved you are well.” After walking Remus to the dining hall for his promised rendezvous with his brother, Logan finally recognized the timing of Janus’ absence and precisely why he’d slept so late.
“I… I am,” Janus said, almost surprised by his own answer. He addressed his cup rather than him. “Better than I have been in a long time.”
Logan’s heart clenched, an old but familiar ache. Still, he smiled and raised his cup. “That is wonderful to hear,” he said. Taking another slow sip of his coffee, he relished the bitter heat and watched how Janus continued to avoid his eyes.
He was now more sure than ever that the morning’s repeated messages had been what prompted Janus’ request for an audience with him and he blessed Remus’ sweet heart for his assurances otherwise. Whatever it meant now, Logan was not sorry for messaging him. However… irritating it may have been for Janus given nothing was actually wrong, Logan would be hard pressed to apologize for reaching out. And if something had been wrong… he would not have wanted his personal feelings and earlier rejection to have prevented him from seeking to assist Janus when he needed him.
He waited for Janus to savor more of his drink before gently prompting. “While I will always enjoy sharing a coffee with you, Janus… you said we needed to talk?” Logan pressed a smile onto his face, hoping it counterbalanced his own reluctance to have this discussion. The speed with which his initial interest in Janus had morphed, gripping his heart and mind was… unnerving. It would hurt to hear Janus’ anticipated request for him to tone down his attention, but… he supposed it would be for the best in the end.
“I did, didn’t I?” Janus smiled and set down his cup. He blew out a sharp breath and nodded.  His eyes danced around the table, moving from his own cup, to Logan’s tie, and back again. Finally, he leaned closer and met Logan’s eyes, face pale and hands twisted together on the edge of the table. The tips of his fingers were white.
“I slept with Remus last night,” he blurted out in a low voice.
“Yes, he told me,” Logan nodded, hiding his face behind his coffee cup. It hurt more than it should. But he didn’t own Remus and Janus had made his feelings clear, no matter Logan’s waning confidence he could somehow demonstrate that whatever he feared would not come to fruition if he took a chance with him. He knew in time the part of him that was genuinely happy for Janus, for both of them, would grow.
“What? He did?” Janus flushed bright red from his hairline down past his open collar. “Why would—When—when did you talk to him?”
“I called him just after five.” It had been the first of many conversations they still needed but Logan was… optimistic. Both that he could find a clearer way to express his needs and desires—and that Remus would, as well. “I was fortunate to catch him before he needed to meet his brother for dinner.”
“But why?” Janus looked dumbfounded. “What prompted the call?”
Logan tilted his head and peered back at Janus, brow furrowed in confusion. “I am dating him.” He leaned in, nodding slowly. “Remus shared with you his misconception that I was not interested in him because I did not consent to sex on our first date.”
“Could you describe that in a more clinical tone?”
He chuckled. “I am game to try.” After a moment, he sobered. “Oh… That means he was not aware of my true intentions when you two were together so you would not have discussed it. I…” While he was confident in both his and Remus’ capacity to care for and, perhaps, eventually love more than one person, he had no reason to believe Janus would feel the same. “I… I realize it is not technically my concern, but I hope this does not prevent you and Remus from—”
“Logan, stop,” Janus interrupted, reaching across the table and placing a hand over his. “While it would be healthy for us to discuss Remus at a later date, that is not the only thing we need to talk about. I am…” He squeezed Logan’s hand, warmth shooting up his arm. “I am relieved you are continuing to pursue a relationship with Remus. I had trouble believing you would simply reject him and…” Janus smiled. “I’m pleased to know you are the man I thought you were.”
Logan’s fingers wrapped around Janus’ and he nodded. “That means more to me than you might realize, Janus.” He smiled, promising himself he would release his hand after just a few more moments. “Thank you.”
Clouds passed over Janus’ eyes and Logan loosened his grip. They both knew Janus had more to share, even if it seemed neither wanted him to actually say it.
“Do you…” Janus began slowly. He hadn’t removed his hand and instead, sandwiched Logan’s between both of his. “Do you remember when you brought me to your apartment after the party?”
Logan nodded. He would never forget the pain and fear in Janus’ voice, nor, selfishly, the way his own songs seemed to have soothed him. “Of course,” he murmured, uncertain where this was leading, but he waited for him to continue.
Janus sighed, and a flicker of that evening’s pain pinched his face. Logan couldn’t help but squeeze his hand and Janus looked up, a bittersweet smile curling up his lips. “Gabe was—” His voice broke and Logan’s eyes widened. “I haven’t said his name out loud—consciously—since I moved here.” He looked down at their shared grip and added in a thin whisper. “Since I fled here.”
Fled?
‘Please, Gabe, please just promise me. Promise me you won’t go out there…’
A protective fire sparked in Logan’s chest and he drew closer. He strengthened his grip on Janus’ hand and brushed his thumb across the back in little swirls and he nodded.
“Gabe was my first love,” Janus continued in a low voice. “We fell in love in high school but I… I was a minister’s son and we had to hide our relationship.” His voice wavered and he moved one hand away to swipe at his face with a napkin. “Gabe—he didn’t care, though. He said it didn’t matter if we had to hide for a while because one day we’d get out, we’d run away and build a life far away from both our families and—” A stifled sob broke through and he covered his mouth with the tissue.
Logan slid his chair to the other side of the table, immediately next to Janus.
After a long moment, Janus lowered his hand and twisted the tissue around his fingers in his lap. “My brothers found us. We’d… In the winter we would meet in his parent’s old workshop and… I… I must’ve done a lousy job of hiding my car and… and they found us and they—”
He leaned against his side and Logan wrapped an arm around his shoulders, drawing him close. Janus curled into him and soon Logan felt hot tears through his shirt. “Gabe was dead before he even got to the ER,” he whispered past another quiet sob.
Logan held him while he cried, stroking his soft hair away from his face and humming quietly. Their server briefly caught his eye, then nodded and closed the table behind them, effectively blocking off their corner of the café. After a long while, Janus took in a shaky breath and looked up. “I promised myself I’d never let myself feel that kind of loss again. That I’d never let myself be hurt like that again.”
He looked down at their intertwined fingers. “But then I met you. And…” Janus sighed, shaky and broken. “And Remus.” He buried his face against Logan’s shoulder. “You fuckers just wouldn’t let me hide anymore,” shoulders shaking in something between a sob and a laugh.
“Oh, we excel at that,” he chuckled, his own throat tight with unshed tears. “I’m so sorry, Janus,” he whispered into his hair, rocking gently. “That’s so much loss.”
“I don’t want to lose anymore…” Janus looked up, eyes still overflowing with tears. “But right now the newest thing I may have lost…” He shook his head, mouth trembling. “Is a chance with you.”
“‘You haven’t,’” Logan whispered, brushing away his tears and smiling softly when Janus’ eyes flashed with recognition. “You’ve done nothing to damage that chance.”
Janus looked back at him, a shaky smile splashed across his face. He shook his head and opened and closed his mouth a few times before finally squeezing Logan’s hand. “Will you take me home?”
Logan’s eyebrows shot up and he started to speak but Janus smiled again. He reached out and brushed his fingertips over Logan’s lips, stilling him. His hand was warm and soft, and the tiny gesture sent heat racing across his skin.
“Not for…” Brow furrowed, he shook his head. “Just to sit together and… and talk?”
Nodding, Logan stroked his cheek and smiled. “It would be my pleasure.”

"Who's Manny?"
I just found out that "Manny" is used as a nickname for "Roman" and i decided to make a short fanfic about it because i got inspired.
Resume: Virgil has been crazy about his new boyfriend lately and has been talking non-stop about him, his two best friends, Remus and Janus, start to befome curious about this new man Virgil is dating, his name is, "Manny" or at least that's what Remus thinks since that's what Virgil calls him, to his surprise, Manny is only a loving nickname that Virgil uses to hyde the identity of his boyfriend, eventually, the true comes out and Remus is not happy about who "Manny" actually is.
Pairing: Romantic Prinxiety, mentioned romantic Demus.
Warnings: Swearing, lying, Remus being an overprotective brother and Virgil is a simp.
-----------------------------------------------
Remus is rolling his eyes, once again, Virgil started going on about his new man. Virgil has been like this since he started seen his current boyfriend, he was going on and on about how beautiful and talented he is: "Manny did this" "Manny did that" or "Manny and i went to X place last week". Remus was tired of it, it was cute at first but now it was just annoying.
He couldn't understand how Janus was SO patient with Virgil, meybe because the emo has never been so invested in a relationship before, Virgil is usually really private about his love life and never talked this munch about his dates. But this time he was head over heels and couldn't stop talking about this "Manny" guy.
Janus was starting to get really curious about him, and really suspicious about their relationship too, because as he said it: "For a man who brags so munch about his boyfriend, he is trying really hard to hyde it from us" and he wasn't wrong, Remus couldn't care less, he was tired to hear about Manny, but he admited that it was really weird how little Virgil shared about his boyfriend. Sure he talked a lot about Manny, but at the same time he didn't? Sure, he talked about how amazing he is, but he never gives any actual information about him, like how old he is or what he does for a living, what he is studying in collage, nothing.
"is kinda impresive, you know?" Remus heard Janus said "How you can talk so munch about this guy, but never tells us anything about it" Remus looked at Virgil, who now had his eyes wide open and had gone completely silent. Janus continued:
"When are we going to meet him?"
Virgil said the same reason he gave the last time they asked him that "is too soon" but Janus wasn't having it
"Come on, Virge, is been seven months since you used that scuse, you can't keep using when you two have been dating for ten months by now"
Virgil shrugged his shoulders and look away:"You can't meet him now, he is out of town".
"Oh, why? Is he gone because of work? Or collage?".
Virgil looked unsure to answer that question, but finally he said:
"He is away because he got a role in a musical, is not a big one, but he is really exited about it".
"So he is an actor"? Janus asked and
Virgil nooded, Janus wanted to know more, Remus was listening to the conversation, he wanted to see how munch information Janus could get from Virgil before the emo decided to leave. Janus asked another question:
"How old is he?"
"22"
"Is he in collage?"
"Why does that matters?" Virgil was starting to get anxious, so he grabed his drink and looked at Janus before taking a bif sip from the cup. Remus was starting to get interested in the conversation joined in:
"don't get defensive, Emo, Jani just wants to know more about your little boyfriend, is normal since you want to hyde him so badly"
"I AM NOT trying to hyde him"
"Then why don't you tell us more about him, right now the only thing we know about him is that he is an actor and is 22 years old" Remus smiles at janus and laugh.
"And that his name is Manny, don't forget his name, Jan"
Janus looked at Remus and said, with a smirk on his face.
"Oh, i don't think that's his actual name Remus, little Virge here has a bad habit of refering to his boyfriends by nicknames only" Janus looked back at Virgil, who looked like a bowl of cold water had just fall over him.
"So what's his actual name? I guess is something like Emmanuel? or Manfred?"
Virgil was now sweating and got up.
"None of those, now if you scuse me, i have to go"
"I guess his name just end with "Man"?"
"Wait a minute"
Remus looked at Virgil, something was weird, things started to connect in his head. Virgil had a 22 years old boyfriend, that was an actor and was away from town because he got a role in a musical, meanwhile, Remus just happends to have a younger brother, who is put of town, is also and actor and is the same age as Manny.
"I REALLY HAVE TO GO" Virgil grabed his things and left his part to pay for the drinks. In that moment Remus got up and started to follow Virgil.
"Virge, wait, who is Manny?"
Virgil didn't listen to him and walked faster.
"Virgil, come back"
Virgil started to run.
"VIRGILIO DON'T FUCKING RUN AWAY FROM ME, TELL ME WHO THE FUCK "MANNY" IS FOR?" Remus screamed while running behind Virgil.
Janus soon regreted his choices, payd for their drinks and run behind them while telling Remus to calm down.
Three weeks later, Roman come back to town and he was not happy when he found out about the fight his brother and boyfriend had in the middle of the street, and he was even more livid when Remus had the audacity to give him the silent treatment for dating one of his friends.

revys shipping habits:
1. is romance repulsed & dislikes fictional romance. doesnt actually ship all that often & is neutral on most sasi ships
2. Prefers platonic/familial relationships (for example: i do not care 4 romantic demus, but i love platonic demus)
3. The only ships i dislike r the popular ones, l*gicality & pr*nxiety. I also do not like moceit. (I dislike the "opposites attract" trope in media)
4. Big fan of logan ships, especially analogical, loceit, & analoceit.

Virgil: “kissing” is such a dumb word. “Face battle” sounds way cooler.
Remus: You may face battle the bride
Janus: Face battle me in the rain
Remus: Hey Jan, I challenge you to a face battle, good sir
Janus: I accept
{they make out}
Virgil: No that’s not what I meant STOP

Hi mangooo!
It's been a bit since I last read, but I just caught up with everything and wow....
I wanted to ask a few things lol
1. Would you be able to add me to the @ list? Or is that for specific people only?
2. Is LAMP canon? Or is it still just prinxiety, logically, and anxceitmus/demos?
Also please tell me my poor babies will make up and communicate ;-; they're all so bad at it kfbdkdbs
I hope you have a great day/night mango ^v^!
Welcome back, love! I thought i hadnt seen you around in a while haha
1. There isnt really a tag list unfortunately, i can never get it to function on a large scale. The ppl @ ed at the top of every update description are just those whp have an ask screenshotted at the top!
2. Romantic LAMP and queerplatonic Demus are the emdgames here! How they get there is mostly up to you guys, but that is where its going to be before the end.
"When will they make up and communicate" — Well, its up to yall to trigger those conversations! By virtue of the medium we're working wih, they wont talk unless you send an ask abt it and make them ;)
All six of them have some room to grow in communication skills, some more than others. It will take time and effort!

Expected Rating: Teen
Warnings: Mentioned / past abuse, trama, language! - anything else that arises would be discussed with the artist before implementation.
Characters: Virgil, Roman, Janus, Remus.
Romantic Relationships: Prinxiety, probably some Demus later on.
Summary: ******* had been too young to remember when exactly his village had first started to treat him like an outsider, like his anxiety made him needy and weak, but by the time he'd turned 15, he'd really had no choice but to flee. Jumping from town to town, nothing went his way at all, not until he'd met G.
Trading away the name that'd never fit him in exchange for being taken care of physically had seemed like a good idea at the time but… if only the village he'd grown up in had cared enough to tell him why you don't, under any circumstance, make deals with the Fae, no matter how solid you think your wording is.
It's been years since Virgil (as he's taken to calling himself in his head) had made the worst mistake of his life, and yet there'll never be a chance for things be any different, let alone something as miraculous as Virgil ever escaping from the sickingly sweet and controlling comments, the expectation of being absolutely perfect all the time, and the empty loneliness that constantly lingered around Virgil whether he was alone, with G in his chamber, or if Virgil was being shown off to a crowd.
But that was the decision he'd made to keep himself from starving, and there was nothing he could do to change that or even his situation. Nothing could ever possibly change his horrible misfortune… right?
Trans coded Virgil (might be discussed in the fic but probably not), Fae AU, not set in modern times but I also don't have an exact time for this either, I imagine I'll just take what I want from whenever as this isn't our universe, I think mixing things from different times is cool, and it's definitely easier then going down a rabbit hole of research.

Objection!: Chapter 31
Chapter title: Soon
A/n: Stands awkwardly. Hi! Okay so, i know its been two years since the previous chapter and I honestly did not think I would be writing a new one. But this story deserves an ending so I do intend to finish it to all those still out there who read it. So whoever is still here, thank you and I hope you enjoy the chapter <3
First | Previous | Next
words: 1511
summary: Pattons finally recovering, where does everyone go from here?
pairings: Logicality, Prinxiety, platonic Demus, romantic Remile
warnings: Hospital mention, Courthouse/Law mentions
Ao3 Link
“I'm cleared!” Patton announces, a tired whoop from the crowded room makes him giggle. Logan grunts in approval, pressing a gentle kiss to his temple. “I get to go home” He explains quietly to the sleeping twins resting on his bed, his fingers carding through their hair.
“And while we’re all ela-” Roman pauses, yawning “-ted, it's far too early” Virgil nods, looking sadly at his now empty cup of coffee.
“He should be able to be checked out around noon today, we want to go over some home care, medicines he’ll need to be taking…” Patton nods along, not sure where the doctor's instructions fell out of tune but Roman was right it really was too early. Once she had finished, given an extra copy of instructions to Logan and taken her leave, the two made their way out.
“Work and stuff” Virgil had, oh so kindly explained, taking his leave with Roman sleepily guiding him the right way. The lawyer couldn't help but smile, glad his friends finally put the puzzle pieces back together.
“Hmm” Logan hummed next to him, “I'll be back around noon to pick you up, Emile and Remy have agreed to take the kids for a bit so you'll only have to worry about rest” He explained through his own suppressed yawn. Patton flashes a grateful smile to the detective and his partner, receiving two thumbs up from Remy. He watches as the couple gently lift the sleeping children, waving them off. “And while I love you” Logan continued “I have work to get to”
“Aw shucks, you sure you dont wanna hang out with me and my Friends reruns?” Patton teases, Logan lips turn up slightly, signs of an amused smile. “Go, be a lawyer, I'll see you at noon” He assures, tugging the taller down only a bit to plant a kiss.
“Noon then” He confirms before joining the others and leaving Patton alone once more.
“Finally” he stretches. Don't get him wrong, he loved his friends, he loved Logan, his kids. But finally, eyes weren't constantly watching him, he could breathe. He only hoped this refreshing feeling continued at home. He was finally feeling like himself again, his fingers itching to be back in the courthouse, standing in front of a judge fighting for something, for someone. “George!” He exclaims to himself, rushing for his phone on his nightstand. He practically punches in the number. “George” He smiles, the other line connects instantly. He hears apologetic rambles at first listening as they turn into worries for the lawyer then a burning anger of vengeance. Christ, Patton could barely get a word in. “Ge-” He tries, cant blame him for not being heard over what he thinks is the man shouting at the tv for…existing? He can't help but laugh, shaking his head. “George,” He states firmly, finally receiving silence. He knows, knows you should never judge solely by a cover. Any man can fake who they are, any person can smile while hiding a sinister secret. But Patton couldn't help it, this man wasn't capable of what he'd been accused of.  “I'd love to meet up”
~~~ “Too early” Virgil complains again, “Early early early” He shakes in defiance. Roman finishes checking himself and his guest into the courthouse, wrapping up a polite conversation with Jenny.
“Honey” He begins, Virgil's soft “Early”s continuing “Ho-ney” he enunciates, taking his partner's hand. “Coffee?” He offers, allowing himself to ignore just how many the detective had already consumed. Suddenly, like magic, Virgil brightens. Or, as much as he could. After all, he needed some coffee in him. “Come along then, my treat”
“Well I'd sure hope so” the shorter quips, nudging Roman.
“You are spoiled” he decides, lifting up Virgil's hand to kiss it sweetly, regardless of his words.
“Blasphemy, I am so unspoiled, in fact i a-” And before Virgil can continue whatever tangent he planned, Roman saves himself and his ears, he kisses his partner swallowing up whatever words he had. “Cheater” “Work smarter, not harder” Roman grins. And even with Virgil's mumbles of rejection, he was smiling.
“Is that what you teach my kid when you babysit?” Virgil sighs, though his disappointment is only an act.
“Absolutely!” Roman nods, his smile wider than ever. “I tell him, I say ‘Damian. Listen, when you're in math class, simply use a calculator’ and oh does he smile”
“Oh my god, you're a terrible influence” Virgil laughs, feeling his chest bubble with warmth. “He needs to learn how to do math without the calculator” “Virgil” Roman turns, taking the detective's face in his hands. “Mi amor” He starts, Virgil rolls his eyes covering his obvious blush. “When, literally when, will he ever have to do math where a calculator is not available” Romans eyes are stern.
“That's so not the point, it's good for him to have the skill” Virgil rebuts
“The answer is never! Never is he going to be an adult, doing math that requires a calculator, where a calculator is not available” He turns back to the path, stopping by the coffee stand, ordering two cups.
“You're impossible” Virgil whispers, with absolutely zero malicious intent, watching his breath in the cold air. He joins the judges side, thanking him for the coffee.
Strolling the courthouse, both fully aware there was no destination, made him happy. Being by Romans side, even in silence, made him happy.
Virgil was happy.
The guilt washed away with ease. Every ounce that had been shoving him to his knees, grinding them to pieces, let him go. Patton was okay, he was going home, safe. Liam hadn't bothered the group since Logan put him in his place. Remy and him had been forgiven, by both Patton and Logan. James, may he rot, was in jail. And Roman was his. All his to love for however long he was permitted to, a small- no, a big part hoped it was forever. At this bright hour of 8:05 AM, Virgil allowed himself this moment of self indulgence. This moment to be selfish, coffee in one hand, Roman in the other.
He was happy.
~~~
“I am not happy, Tolentino” Heard, processed, and instantly forgotten. Logan's head was killing him, the last thing he needed was a scolding and running on no coffee as well. “I think we need to have a discussion about your recent work ethic”
“Mhm” Logan was barely listening, honestly, his mind was nowhere at the moment. His boss could be firing him from the firm, but he was far too tired to care. After another lecture, Logan was dismissed, giving him ample opportunity to find the nearest coffee booth and consume all of it.
He had been skeptical of the firm working out of the courthouse at first. Lawyers coming in and out, cases he wasn't on though dying to participate happening just next door, the judges bothering him, it had a recipe for disaster written all over it. But it ended up being perfect. It was exactly the place he wanted to work at. If his stuffy office ever got too much, just a quick stroll and he could find himself in the courtyard, listening to the steady fountain flow.
It was perfect.
Plus, this is where he met Patton. Fell in love with him, proposed to him, and watched him everyday.
That wasn't so bad.
He smiled, lifting the coffee to his lips, sipping carefully at the hot beverage. One could argue the worst things also happened here, and they wouldn't be wrong. But the good for Logan, far outweighed the bad. The love of his life walked these halls everyday, lighting up his path as he smiled. Hm, he thought to himself, he should call Patton. He missed his fiancee, and noon was so far away.
“Patton Hart!” A familiar yet welcome warmth creeped on Logan.
“Whos taking whos last name” Well. That was definitely not how he wanted to start the conversation.
“Well,” Patton thought for a moment, considering Logan's question with sincerity. “Patton Tolentino”
Oh
Logan would blame the red tint of his cheeks on the cold air.
“Its not bad…but I like my last name!” Patton chirps, Logan nods, covering his mouth “And it's the kids last name” It is, Logan's mind was gone once more. Patton Tolentino, Patton Tolentino, the name ran through his mind. “Lo?”
“Present” A soft giggle resonated through the phone “Logan Hart” He repeats, it felt odd falling off his tongue at first. “Loooogan Hart” He tried once more, it wasn't bad. However, could such a sweet name, filled with adoration, suit him. With his mind busy, he hadn't noticed the other line had gone quiet. “Honeybee?” He inquires softly
“Can't we just get married already” Had he not been listening so intently, Logan would have missed the whisper of desperation.
“What about combining them?” He proposes. A laugh rings through, approving the idea. They continue an idle conversation, but Patton's question continues to play over and over in his mind.
Soon.
Soon, I promise.
