I could never finish this piece but I loove how it turned out. Just couldn't bare to see it polished so Imma just upload it like this c:
I drew inspiration from Monet and had a blast testing and experimenting with colors. My eyes kinda grew sick of pink through the duration of painting these two >.< this piece was a part of an au idea of sorts? Nothing much changes, just the outfits and aesthetics for each Diamond. Pink Diamond here was supposed to be a clown/jester of sorts. Drawing a lot of inspiration from French clowns and circus performers. But later on when she becomes Rose Quartz, her aesthetic changes to that of French Rococo. Mostly because I thought the hair and dresses fit her so well.

harley's fashion sense is a fascinating blend of clashing influences that amalgamate into a unique yet put together and extremely colorful whole - i'd descibe it as neon, trashy, vintage, esoteric, and apocalyptic. she takes heavy inspiration from the styles of the rococo era as well as the silver screen starlet aesthetic from the 20s-60s; though the 60s mod style mostly pulls through in her makeup as opposed to the clothing, which takes the form of the 20s flapper and the 40s showgirl most prominently.
she also draws inspiration from the neon trash era - the late 2000s to early 2010s (think kesha and tumblrcore party fashion) especially in terms of color schemes. bright, fantastic and bold neons are forefront in her more casual styles especially during the suicide squad, where harley is heavily experimenting in an attempt to find herself after leaving joker behind. her classic harlequin styles draw on goth clown/harlequin styles, especially in terms of the makeup and the black and red colors - this aesthetic sticks, and harley's hair transitions back to its black and red roots after the main arc of the suicide squad, where her fashion overall takes a turn for the more classy and elegant styles that include corsets, leather jackets, and lots of latex. this is where her personal style develops more into encompassing who she is as a person as opposed to the past where she dressed mostly to be flashy and catch attention wherever she went; in the past harley wanted to be seen, and now? harley wants to command. whenever she enters a room, she wants to be taken seriously, not laughed at and lauded with false respect. now she's earned it, and her more mature fashion sense reflects that, though it keeps a chaotic flair to it that hinges on the intersection of punk, mall goth, and clowncore subcultures.
examples below cut!
early suicide squad era (i am using examples from the movies because they do in fact capture her aesthetic perfectly if we ignore the ugly disgusting d*ddy's little monster outfit which i should kill someone for having ever created!!!):
once harley's found a more personal sense of style:

I'm making a quiz in Phantom and want to make a question about the minor characters played by the ensemble, like the monkey in Masquerade, and the Confidante in Il Muto. I'd like to ask if you happen to have made a list of them or seen one before (It doesn't need to include all of them). I can't find much information on Google. Thanks in advance.
Well, the thing about ensemble actors is that they're playing multiple characters throughout the show, it's not like a principal role where it's one-and-done. (So for example, the Christine understudy typically plays the Hannibal princess, the Mirror Bride, the Triangle Girl, a lady during the rehearsal scene, and perhaps a lady or page in Don Juan Triumphant.) Playbills and programs and the like will often list one or two of those roles, but not all of them. Many of them also don't have individual lines, they sing as a chorus, but if you want to include them (and you seem to since you include the Monkey as an example), you are essentially asking someone to look through the musical and list every character that shows up in the show that isn't a principal or supporting character. No wonder Google isn't going to help you!
But I can make an attempt, I suppose. Here's a not that complete listing of minor characters in most scenes in Phantom, gathered by looking at the libretto, programs, an archived version of Operafantomet's costume site, and of course, various bootlegs of the show itself, mainly sticking to the replica, as characters will vary across different productions and eliminating repeats (e.g. Buquet shows up in three scenes but I only put him in his first):

i started reading attis last night (!) and i love the time-travelling feel in the first few chapters. you start with catullus on a chalk road and expect him to be roman. then he puts his hands in his trouser pockets—so it’s at least the 18th century. clodia in her carriage made me think 1880s for absolutely no textual reason, then you arrive at the rococo-themed costume party where troy is about to burn. you hear the clowns mention the war—which war?—and then clodia has multiple earrings in her ear and daybreak takes you with catullus into the present day and out of the fairytale. then the idea of rome undergoes the same mundanifying procedure in the next chapter.

Hey, the name's Usual, URA, or Random (take your pick) and I'm a fucking lot of things, but above everything I'm a Mexican dyke (she/her).
Current obsessions are:
• Clowns
As in actual clowning, I've been dressing up with makeup and practicing routines. I know how to juggle and own a rubber chicken and bike horn. Always trying to learn more tricks.
• Goth/Punk
I quite enjoy the aesthetics of both, and with the people I hang out with there tends to be a lot of overlap between the two. Somewhat new to the cultures, but I always have a blast regardless. I'm always on the lookout to expand my wardrobe and any excuse to get into mosh pit.
• OCs and AU shit
Been crafting multiple stories and characters who live in my head rent free. Then I take my characters and just keep making aus about em because why not. Might post sketches and lore dumps, if I can ever remember to anyway.
• Music
Been starting to download mp3 files onto an external hard drive cause fuck streaming I want my tunes offline forever. My taste is incredibly varied and I just hit shuffle on so I get EVERYTHING. Just some of the stuff I have includes: Mitski, Slipknot, Los Cojolites, Selena, Rage Against The Machine, Molotov, Banda MS, Manu Chao, Bob Marley and the Wailers, La Santa Cecilia, Molotov, Panteon Rococo, Daft Punk, Queen, Miguel, Cafe Tacvba, Porter, Maldita Vencidad, Tyler The Creator, Calle 13, Jack Stauber, and so many more. Point is I fucking LOVE music and I'd probably be dead without it. ALWAYS OPEN TO MUSIC RECOMMENDATIONS I'LL PROBABLY ENJOY IT!!!!!
