HWS Lithuania: But what about America?
HWS Romano: Don't worry about him.
HWS Romano: I once watched him fall down 5 flights of stairs, stand up, and keep eating his hamburger like nothing happened.

Remains of Three New Pompeii Victims Discovered
The remains of three new Pompeii victims have been unearthed beneath the towering shadow of Mount Vesuvius - almost 2000 years after its catastrophic 79 CE eruption.
The skeleton remains are believed to have belonged to two women and a child, aged between three and four years old.
The trio are believed to have died while seeking shelter in what is suspected to be a bakery, during the first stage of the eruption.
"In these last rooms the bone remains of three victims of the eruption have surfaced," a statement from Pompeii Archaeological Park said.
"Three Pompeians who had taken refuge in search of salvation and who instead found their death under the collapsed attics.
"The individuals were found in an already excavated environment, where only 40cm remained of intact stratigraphy (earth).
"They rested in direct contact with the floor, and presented - together with evidence of important postmortem settlement processes - a series of perimortem traumas due to the collapse of the attic above."
A structure with two intact fresco walls were also discovered as part of the ongoing excavations in an area called Regio IX, a commercial part of town.
One of the walls depicted the sea god Poseidon and Amimone, the other portrays the sun god Apollo and his first love Daphne, who swore to remain a virgin and spurned his advances.
The discoveries come weeks after the remains of two victims, believed to be men, were found beneath a collapsed wall.
The ancient Roman city was destroyed when Vesuvius roared to life the morning of August 24, 79 CE.
By lunchtime the volcano had sent a towering ash and debris cloud into the stratosphere, which rained pumice down on the town as earthquakes rumbled foundations.
This is known as the Plinian phase, which lasted for about 20 hours, and is thought to have been when the three victims perished.
Destruction came for Pompeii in the second eruption stage, known as the Pelean phase.
Pyroclastic surges of molten rock and hot gases surged down the volcano's slopes, burning and asphyxiating people before they had a chance to flee, burying the city.
The eruption is said to have released 100,000 times the energy of the Hiroshima-Nagasaki atomic bombings in World War II.
It's estimated 2000 people died in Pompeii.
However, the exact death toll from the eruption is not known as casualties also occurred in the nearby settlements of Herculaneum, Oplontis, and Stabiae.

Twst Loop Theories/Analyses … (Mostly of Leona Oji-tan's)
Savannaclaw’s the deepest and most mysterious theory I have translated tbh...
This time it’s ALL of the people that are from the Savannaclaw Arc (Even Cheka!)
Jokes on you if you haven't dissected the op like I have. We (as players) have made a contract with Azul :3
Tumblr media
Leona is an important person in the Loop Theory, aka Rapunzel theory. And one way is by looking at his hair.
Leona’s hair is brown, unlike Scar’s black mane. Most characters have a main villain base and other characters as a sub-base. Leona’s is Scar main and possibly Kion as a sub base. (more on that later in the bottom) But a lot of characters have more than 2 bases so what if the base is in his looks?
Leona’s hair is brown with braids. So, in the Disney’s franchise there's only one specific person, or princess that would fit this description. Rapunzel. These two have a lot in common if you look for them.
Leona is 20. Rapunzel is 20 by the 3rd season of the TV series.
Like I said, looks Rapunzel did have brown hair as well as green eyes. When she has long hair in the tv series, she did braid her hair sometimes. But in the end she did cut her hair again, like in the end of the movie. So Leona might cut his hair in the end. (I will miss his hair)
The Fairy Gala had lilies in Leona’s SSR. In the movie, there are similar lilies when Rapunzel gets out of her tower.
And the buddies of his card are the light trio, Rook, Silver, and Kalim. All three of them have a part that is based off of the ‘good’ characters.
His tarot card is the tower; if the tarot card theory is true, then it does fit in with the description. Especially the part that Rapunzel was trapped inside a tower. In the story Leona (Rapunzel) is trapped in the tower (NRC)
Both of them also share a similar power (kind of not but). Rapunzel has a power that is called the “sun drop”- it came from the sundrop flower. The power of the “Sun Drop” can help slow down aging, heal, and as well as recover what was once lost. Leona’s power is King's Roar. His power “dries up the opponent and turns everything into sand”. (I don't fully believe it because of my last post but this is this) We are going to assume “in the end” it will become sand.
In the world of Rapunzel. There is a stone called the “Moonstone Opal”. This stone is the exact opposite of the “Sun Drop”, and it- kills and takes away life. In the 14th episode of season 2, Rapunzel finds an old scroll and chants the “Reverse Inaction”; it makes the animals decay and the people around hard to breathe. This was only the first half of the lyrics so the power of destruction was probably not complete. Half of the lyrics can kill, but unlike Leona’s power, it can’t fully destroy the shape.
Cassandra, the daughter of Gothel, did use the powers (her hair and eyes became different) and if she touched anything they would decay; like Leona’s powers of drying the things he touched after using “Kings Roar”. And in the end of season 3 Rapunzel did absorb part of the Moonstone Opal’s powers.
So what will Leona do in the story? If you look at the prologue 0-0 in the end title you’ll notice it either
turns to sand
or the fire went out.
In the movie of Rupunzle the antagonist, Mother Gothel (Evil Queen is the motif), and in the end, she loses the power of Rapunzel’s hair and drops from the tower and becomes dust leaving her robe behind. I did say this before of him being “The Tower” card. But what if in the end... He uses his magic and makes the person/thing Crowley revived into sand?
(Personally I think there's a chairman or someone that Crowley will revive. Mallenoa? IDK, there's a person or something I think)
But before the soul disappears, Crowley flies into the mirror and uses his magic to rewind time, which is what might happened, and he tries to find his “Happy ending”
But Leona doesn’t lose his memory, and the Messiah, Lilia, is probably the one who knows and is teaming up secretly. It was especially suspicious when Leona purposely overblotted, which I think, was because of Lilia’s words....
It would make sense if it was the fire going out, because it can also ties in with Rapunzel. Leona is probably going to break the loop with MC.
I did say that Leona does have chess pieces in his room that tie in with the Light trio. (below)
Rook: Rook Hunt’s name
Knight: Silver thinks he has a talent for a sword and “silver sword”. Also Malleus’s knight
Pawn: Kalim is a pawn to Jamil (He tried to use him to become King in the movie and in the arc)
Also, Leona would be the “king” chess piece
And Leona’s best subject is “ancient curses”, like Rapunzel he can use harmful ones, like his unique magic too. What if he knows a spell that can “go back in the past?
If he did It would make sense why his memories aren’t lost. So in conclusion Leona is the Rapunzel trapped in the tower called “Twisted Wonderland”
But other than the pieces what gave away that he is the traveler?
Something with Azul’s contracts and the scar on his eye is still not clear. But, first let’s look at his name.
Kingscholar can be seprated into King (ruler) and Scholar (a specialist in a branch of study). Scholars usually point to social sciences, or humanities. These branches of study study the human values and how they express the feelings; they require knowledge from phycology to history. If the word “scholar” is in his name, then it can be reasoable to think that he may be “observing and analyzing a person or a thing”
Leona’s best subject is “ancient curses”, and he is good at protection spells as well as pharmacy (the study of medication). Those do require a lot of knowledge to be good at. Why would he need to repeat the grade if he is so smart?
On Youtube (とろちゃんねる), Leona broke the loop in between his second year and third year.
In the 4th arc, Mickey’s third remark in the dream is the reason the number “3″ is really weird, almost incompatible.
Leona is 20 he’s in his third year for the third time (if the loop theory is true). If I am correct then the time MC came is when the “3″s (triple)overlapped. He also asked how many stones Grimm ate after the third arc.
This is where Jack’s origin comes in. Jack most likely originated from the author of “White Fang” (Jack London), but there’s more. In my other theory, I said that the MC’s body is not there, that Jack may be referenced from the TV show of the Lion King, Lion Gard’s, Ray-ray. In the show, they defeat Scar, who died and came back to life. Maybe this is also a clue...
In a personal talk, Savannaclaw was talking about the King of Beasts (or whatever they called it). People usually thought “Oh, it's about Scar” but, it's not. It’s not Simba or Mufasa either. It's not Kion as well. If I summarize the traits of the king they were talking about then it becomes like this:
He ruled with his power and fangs, and rejected his older brother to become the king in an attempt to great a good country with wisdom and order to change the affiliation of the strong bullying the weak
The King of Beasts does not discriminate
“The King of the sky that guides the stars” was called “firefly” and “Great King from the Past”
The nephew of the king was not at the king’s coordination ceremony (Leona and Jack’s conversation)
Leona’s scar on his eye and the King of Beast’s scare are the same. But, Leona avoided answering the question when Ruggie asked him when his scare was from. (Ruggie and Leona’s conversation)
The anecdote of the king; he can apperently talk to hippos, giraffes, lions, and monkeys. (Jack and Leona)
The hornbill, who served the royal family, noticed the change in the country and gave their opinion to the king of beasts infromed. The king is very considerate and king and listened to the opinions and advice. (Ruggie and Leona)
Most of it is describing Scar
but 3,6,7 are far from matching him.
3 is taking about the “ The King of the sky that guides the stars”. This description is very fitting to “Roar of the Elders” from Lion Gard. Yes, there is a time where this kinda happened in the main story. (also Leona’s unique magic is referenced from “Roar of the Elders”
6. We do have a hippo friend in “Lion Gard”, but not any other animals in the original ones. (The giraffe is missing)
7. the Hornbill is Zazu from lion king, who does serve the royal family. He is present from the original “Lion King” and is with Kion in the show. Something seems off to my guts.
“Why are they favoring Kion?”, you may ask. But Kion and Scar have a trait they share. They are both second born. Also Kion’s roar becomes the strongest; there is a story when he got the cobra venom in his eye and became violent and couldn’t control his power. His scar is as the same as Leona and Scar’s left eye. In season three you see Kion with two lines as a scar on his eye.
In conclusion, what the Savannaclaw students were talking about is either “Kion” or “a lion other than Scar and Kion”.If it is Scar the King, number 1 explained, then the flow of the story is too convenient.  It’s also unclear if it is Kion as well; if it's the conversation after season 3 then I would have no idea.
 The Key part is his Tattoo and Azul’s contract (Bet you didn’t see that coming)
In “Lion Gard”, the guards all have a tatoo. Leona does have powers and has a tattoo on the same left arm (technically) as Kion. But unlike Kion’s, the tatoo is a different color. We’ve seen this shade of color. Yes, it’s the same as Azul’s ink.
(Pull out Azul’s Dorm SSR, after Groovy)
We can’t read the contract, but Lin Channel (on YouTube) is doing gods work and translated into actual words (English cursive) it reads:
Contract:
I am wishing mate
I wishes senior siring
nephew smiling
inwhere inway amaging waiting
winner winter welcoming
where wide whichever via where wiser anniversary
For all eternity (For all eternity is from the original “Little Mermaid”’s contract)
Let me explain how she’s doing the work, Google (yea, teachers) She looks up people’s hand writings and can conclude things (the long curve after “i” may be the ending “ing”) But, if I clear it up and make it normal English it would look like this:
I want a companion
I wish my brother and nephew a smile
I am ambushing and waiting
Anywhere in the place where
the winter of victory comes
This is just my thoughts, but “brother and nephew” may be Cheka and Leona’s brother, which would be reasonable why such a minor character like Cheka got voice acted.
Winter could be meaning Hades, who kidnapped Persephone and made winter. So, maybe Idia could be the key to our victory here. And this would expain why Savannaclaw was between Ignihyde and Diasomnia
Winter could also mean Cheka and Leona’s brother’s heart. They could be lonely (Grim asks Leona about his family, and Grim replies with “They must be lonely, being in a dark cold place” or something like that)
I’m sure that Leona made the contract for Cheka and his brother. He is the only character with a nephew. The tsun-dere side of Leona would explain why he didn’t want to tell anyone about what the contract is about.
Just by the contract and the loop theory we can tell that he is important. But what if he is not based off of Scar... But rather, Kion from “Lion Gard”? If I look into the original characters of what Leona is based off of, then I would forget about “Leona”. Yana Toboso is twisting our brain like that, such as in “Black Butler”, and maybe thats another reason why the game is called “Twisted Wonderland”
So what we all we know about Leona is:
Leona’s tattoo
he is aware of the loop or he is suspicious of the loop
Jack’s position (We don’t know as much as I would like about his power)
Cheka will appear again (he does get Voice acted, and maybe that’s what the second arc will be about. He also said something about having a fiancée so maybe an event?)
Leona overblotted instead of Ruggie (my other theory)
I do think the tattoo may be made by Azul in the other loop, and he is aware of the loop or will remember of the loop because of the tattoo
But it is Yana Toboso sensei so... I may be wrong~
~~~
Posting this after Leona's magic is aeration theory bc his unique magic makes no sense.
Multiverse or Azul theory next?
If you can comment that will be appreciated (likes and reblogs are appreciated.
I also wrote this 2 years ago
Idk if its right but I did make some changes :3
No one would ever fathom how utterly guilty Lee Minho felt with his tongue driven down your throat in one of the many dressing rooms the jazz club contained. He hated how his sweaty palms digging into your lower back barely managed to keep both of you steady against the rough wall.
He despised how desperately you held onto the lapels of his tweed suit, as the cold pearls around your neck jingle against his watch with every turn of your head. Every jingle was followed by a gasp, and together they seemed to override the perky jazz coming from the stage.
He hated how he was stuck here, unable to release himself from his hedonistic urges, to the point where he neglected his work, the reason he entered this shabby club.
Priv. Detective Lee wasn't supposed to be here today, not in your embrace, not under your enchantment, not under the influence of something he was prohibited from.
Alcohol.
Despite his deceptive actions and seemingly careless attitude towards alcohol at parties, Lee Minho had a restrained regimen for himself. Especially when he’s working, which is almost everyday.
He only let himself go when it was necessary in social gatherings, in  those crowded salons where everyone had their eye on him, where he had to follow skewed norms to strengthen his reputation as an owner of a winery acreage in Pomerol, France. A false identity pasted on him to get any sort of tip-off in this industry.
The industry where smuggling had become as common as a nuclear family buying a car.
Last Sunday, when he happened to be at another one of these parties, he was invited by his neighbour Mr Brown to a different wine tasting session at a strange, albeit new jazz club, rumoured to sell cheap booze. And of course he’d go.
Not because of the alcohol, but because of the fact that any place selling cheaper goods meant that it was smuggled. Not necessarily, and not always; but in this day and age he was sure it could be nothing else.
So he enters this somewhat run down club behind the busy streets of downtown Chicago, surprisingly packed with locals, a pungent smell of alcohol immediately welcoming him. A smell he thought he was used to, but clearly not enough to refrain from wincing, his eyebrows furrowed at the chaos and the crowd; at the suffocation he felt walking in.
At the centre of this chaos stood, in all her glory, the lead singer, her sweet voice accentuated by the saxophone, trumpet and piano quartet. She stood below the dim yellow chandelier hung above her as a spotlight, in her white satin, semi beaded dress which fell just below her knees, rather provocative.
He doesn't look away until Brown reminds him of the wine testing and ushers him towards a VIP booth.
He makes his way through the crowd, pushing against bodies dancing the Charleston, a recently popular dance that Minho found amusing. All this while, he probes the ins and outs of the club, looking for all entry ways through which big cartons could arrive, as well as places for them to be stored.
All he found was a door that appeared to lead into the dressing rooms. That didn't deter his ambitions though, because he knew that behind this lively exterior, there had to be secrets involved . He would do whatever he had to in order to uncover the operation.
If he had any flaws, it would be this, that he was too stubborn to give up on what his intuition said. He was hard headed, but in no way was he stupid. He'd be devious if it was necessary, he'd lie if he had to. He'd also seduce if it was extreme.
Well, it wasn't his first time trying. He'd done it before, at least six attempts, and maybe five successful ones. The last one was into girls, and he hoped, fairly desperate that this one wasn't.
After a while, he uses needing a trip to the toilet as a somewhat acceptable reason for leaving the now boring session. The drunk men weren't their most reasonable, and paid no heed to the poor excuse. Apparently being a connoisseur meant taking proper breaks. He shrugs it off with a smile, promising to come back in some time.
Lies.
He was long gone to meet his mysterious flapper who he surveyed every corner for.
Under the new frosted light bulbs bought for the bar, you found yourself in the company of many men and women alike, all desperately trying to sink their teeth into your precious minutes. All of whom you appreciated but wanted nothing to do with. Most of them were here to sign record deals from new radio channels wanting to capitalise on the upcoming modern woman movement. All of which you supported but didn't see yourself working as.
Not because you liked working as the main singer for a rundown jazz club. But because your actual work meant that you were never supposed to find fame. Fame meant prying eyes, and nosey neighbours; something you'd have none of in this lifetime.
Why risk it for fame, when you had important business to take care of here?
You had to make sure that not a single thing was out of line and that not a single person would ever find out of the secret second business run here.
So far, you've done a good job at pretending to be the club's owner's sister. And although it was true, the story behind renovating your grandma's old house into a jazz club wasn't. There was no grandma's old house, there was no renovation, no grandma either. This was always a place for trade.
Your kind of trade. Where you’d find the good dupes and sell it at a higher price, and the actual bottles would be shipped out for a lump sum.
The excess or the bad bottles would be sold in this club, at a discount. It was pretty simple actually, and it made you money.
Sure it was illegal. But sometimes you needed the money, no questions asked. This was how your family knew to fend. This is how you'd continue to fend for yourself.
The risks you took were calculated, and you weren't afraid. While your brother looked after the actual shipments, you'd deliver intel.
You were in control of all the information passing through here. Nothing happening in town would ever slip away from your grasp.
So what if it was a jazz club?
Most people from different backgrounds always ended up at your 'Charmer Club'.
Most people let themselves go. They always ended up telling the bartender about their business, the dirty dealings that they've also been up to. The fact that most were more grey than the white that they appeared to be.
It was no different for you.
And if there was any difference, it was that you'd never let yourself slip-up. You weren't stupid. You weren't a naïve little Tomato like most believe. Even if you did find yourself faltering, you'd know how to convince others into changing their mind about you.
The same way you knew you could convince Mr Brown that you were interested in the specificities of wine when he almost caught you switching bottles from the basement. You barely convinced him, saying that true wine from France would have plum and black cherry aromas, which it did have. Lucky for you, Mr Brown had no idea that dupes could have chemical fragrances added to them too, because he'd never had to collect wine right from the port. Defeated, he said he'd ask his "very dear friend" to figure out the truth.
At first, you were shocked that there was another wine connoisseur you didn't know of, but after asking your people to investigate, you realised why Mr Brown was so confident. Why he was after your tail.
You knew he was new to this part of town; an insanely handsome, Big Cheese foreigner who wasn't yet used to life in America.
That his speciality was French Wine, and that if he was rich here, he was even richer back home. That he might even be a scofflaw, since he hung around in as many alcohol parties as he could, including the ones for the middle class. This piques your interest, and in a long while, you haven't been as excited to unearth someone's mask.
Now, all you had to do was wait. Because you hoped, no, you knew he would come to find you tonight, regardless of never having spoken before. Because most people do the first time they visit this club.
Most people come looking for you when you're done singing. Because they're enthralled, curious, or physically attracted to you. Because you're almost too beautiful for them to admire from a distance. Because you had "eyes like an angel that drew everyone to paradise".
These weren't just based on what you heard, but accounts from your members, beyond tired of regulars ravishing about you. But that wasn't enough for you. You needed beyond sensuality to tempt and guarantee clients. Sure your circle of customers had grown over the last five years you took over, but that didn't mean the risk had dissipated.
So while your confidence was with justification, your anxiety insisted on you keeping things tight-lipped. You had to know everything that occurred in this paltry but pertinent place.
Maybe that was why you were grateful when your target approaches you of his own accord. His deep brown eyes intent on yours, his long hands embellished by his expensive Rolex oyster, an uncommon wrist watch that very few would dream of affording, an orange tie loosened as though he had drunk the daylights out of himself.
He was perfect. Handsome and tipsy, what else would you want out of a person who had the potential to figure out that your French wine happened to be local American?
"Stunning performance," you hear a deep voice say, in a slurred accent, you can't tell if it was because he was French, or just drunk.
"Thanks, first time here?" you ask.
He nods, leaning ahead. "Mr Brown told me, you have some really good wine down here, something I might be familiar with."
"Ahh you must be the foreigner Mr Brown keeps raving about... Mr?"
"Just call me Claude," he replies sweetly.
You raise your eyebrow. Was he so private as to not let his last name slip? You call the bartender over.
"A bottle of our finest Cheval Blanc." you look back and smile at him.
Claude smirks. "I'm familiar with this wine you know. It's made from the labour of my vineyards."
You examine his face, looking for any sign of deceit. You'd come across many con artists, most of whom didn't have adequate expertise in alcohol. Nobody knew the real in a world where fake was deliberately greater. But here's someone who claimed to be, here's someone who you were sure was lying, despite no hint of deceit.
Why would a rich French billionaire come down personally to your shabby store, instead of asking someone else to collect it?
Unless he had something to prove.
Soon the glasses are laid out, and half a bottle poured. You wait as he swirls the glass in his hand. Despite the loud jazz, you hear nothing but the sound of ice clinking in his glass, and the aroma of plum piercing through, making it difficult for you to breathe. You realise, that after a long time, you're nervous. You see him smell the alcohol briefly.
The cup reaches his lips, and he closes his pretty eyes. You watch him gulp a miniscule sip down. It is silent as his eyelashes flutter slowly as his mouth twitches in slight distaste. Just as anyone else would frown, but for some reason his seemed deliberate, and somewhat dangerous.
Dangerous was what Lee Minho thought you were, with the real thing in the glass in front of him. Somehow, he knew it wasn't a dupe. It had the same percentage of alcohol as he knew it should, and not one flavour felt out of place. But then again, he couldn't be sure; he wasn't actually the person he claimed to be. He wasn't an actual connoisseur. If this was the real thing, then it made no sense for you to sell it at a discount.
"Why is one bottle so cheap?" he asks carefully, leaning against the counter. This time, he looks at you in search of deceit. Instead all he reads is a hint of surprise on your face, along with a little bit of glee, he couldn't be sure.
"You should know after tasting them shouldn't you?" you ask, eyebrows raised, a small smile on your lips, as though you had it all figured out.
Lee Minho falters, suddenly unarmed. What did that mean? Did you admit that it was fake? Or were you trying to gauge his identity?
A wrong answer now, and he'd give himself away.
"Of course I know why, but I'd rather hear from you." he avoids, to which you don't reply.
He needs to draw everything from you. "The discounts are unreasonably low, especially for a Cheval Blanc. It almost hurts my pride," he playfully pouts.
He sees you shaking your head in slight disappointment, an amused smile along with it. "You shouldn't worry about that, you're not losing any money here," you whisper close to his ear.
He tries so hard to ignore the smell of may rose and jasmine that accompanied your Chanel no. 5 parfum, and he tried to ignore how some of the others gaped at him, envious of how close he'd gotten to you.
"How can I be sure?" he questions his breath slightly arrhythmic.
How would you know rather, whether a rich business man would have lost his money? Really nobody would know unless they went through the ledgers. Something you were sure didn't exist in his company, or else he'd know just how much he'd lost.
Everything he said pointed to him being a careless business owner, something you thought would never be possible for a man so rich. You scan through his appearance again, his suit looked genuine, the tweed proper. You even gently caress the back of his broad lapels to confirm. He was rich, but was he anything close to the person he says he is?
Out of all the people you met in this small place, there was one thing you knew too well. If something or someone is too good to be true, it probably was. He was no vineyard owner from France, foreigner maybe, but not someone who knows business.
Something about the way he tried so desperately to gauge your business instead of you meant that he wasn't here to play, nor was he here to strike a deal. Most businesses that advertise their brands try to get their way into you, instead of the business. They usually came knowing you were a snake charmer, someone who could sell all the bad ones for better prices. Selling rejected alcohol ended up being a way for them to reduce net losses.
The man in front of you, "Claude", could be one of two things. An embalmer like you, jealous of the profit you're making; or someone here to investigate your business. A situation you were familiar with.
Multiple cops had come to investigate before, all of whom were easy to shut up. However the person in front of you didn't feel like a cop, he didn't try to exert power, nor did he try to undermine yours. A man so hard to read, you weren't sure how to make head or tail of who he really was.
"Hmm, I'll tell you why I sell it for less, only if you tell me why you don't think it should be sold for less" you offer, laying out your cards in front of him. His response would determine if he was a tremendous, or poor master of deception.
"It is indeed the real thing; however the aroma feels diluted, although the drink's concentration seems correct, I understand that it is from a batch of wine of secondary quality made from bad grapes. However the year it was made in, suffered from excessive rain, and the waterlogged condition meant that production had reduced that year. It would make sense for you to sell it for a higher price due to excess demand."
You smirk, as he got the question right. Somehow, he knew his stuff. The details however did feel as if he had thoroughly prepared for an interrogation.
"Unfortunately the people who buy here don't care about a particular year, they care just for the alcohol. It matters to only a few, such as Mr Brown and your friends who care enough to investigate, Claude."
"We're just curious, after all we're linked to the industry at some level. You don't need to feel offended young lady, if I may ask for your name?"
"My name is a secret for those who I meet for the first three times, if you return after our third meeting, I'll tell you. For now, goodbye; I have other patrons to meet."
With that you leave hastily, already unnerved at the fact that he somehow picked at your disguise. Annoyed yet excited.
After a long time, you had something vaguely resembling a challenge, and the following meetings would ensure that you get every second worth of thrill from him. You'd make sure that Claude, or whatever his handsome name was would only tread carefully from now.
Lackadaisy X Persona 3 AU
Been thinking about doing an AU with this idea since I think my P3 cat designs can pass off as Lackadaisy designs for the most part
little premise of this AU: SEES is a speakeasy set during the Roaring 20s (haven't figured an abbreviation for this SEES), and they have to compete with the Marigolds and the eponymous Lackadaisy (canon Lackadaisy cat cameo perhaps)
Notable character name changes (I haven't decided on new surnames yet): Makoto -> Michael Yukari -> Yvonne Junpei -> Juniper Mittens (Mitsuru) -> Maria (but she's still called Mittens; I can't call her Mitzi for obvious reasons) Akihiko -> Andrew Fuuka -> Flora Aigis -> Angela (but called Aigis as a play on "I guess") Koromaru -> Shiro Ken -> Kenneth (but called Ken for short) Shinjiro -> Shane
Some other tidbits (contains some canon stuff from Persona 3 but altered to fit the Lackadaisy world):
All characters are aged up to adults to fit the Lackadaisy theme (Ken is the youngest, he's 18)
Michael's parents died when he was young, so he lived with his extended family before leaving home at age 18 and somehow managing to land himself in the position as a rum runner
Yvonne's father was killed by a drunk driver when she was little, and she didn't think she'd end up as a rum runner many years later much to her dismay (as she detests alcohol combined with her father's death)
Juniper works as the bartender for the speakeasy, and he does consider it as an "escape" from his insecurities and such while talking with patrons at the bar. He seems to have a crush on one of the bar's regulars
Maria's family runs SEES (Ikutsuki isn't here in this AU), but she's the sole heir of the speakeasy as her father passed away
Andrew's backstory is the same as canon (him, his sister and Shane were living in an orphanage but his sister died), he doesn't dare tell his foster parents that he's working as a rum runner
Flora's parents are doctors in this universe but Flora ran away from home because of pressure and wound up working at the speakeasy (her medical knowledge does come in handy, and she has some mechanic skills as well that she learned in her spare time growing up)
Angela suffered from a brain injury and damaged her amygdala, so she's rather "robotic" and emotionless, she's most certainly "enigmatic" as she's rather shut in about her past (she's just a regular of the bar that ended up as part of the speakeasy staff)
Shiro and his owner came from Japan* but his owner was killed on the job as a rum runner. Shiro is currently a stray dog that's looked after by SEES and Shane (dogs do exist as pets in Lackadaisy)
Kenneth's mom was killed (as a bystander) when Shane shot her, and he joins the speakeasy as a ploy for revenge. Kenneth is also 18 in this AU (but much like Freckle, he's short and has a babyface)
Shane left the speakeasy and lives on the streets homeless out of guilt on what happened
A lot of character dynamics are mostly the same as in the actual game (like Juniper and Yvonne bantering etc)
Strega doesn't exist in this AU but the three members of Strega still appear as characters (homeless trio)
*I'm aware that shiba inus didn't come to America until the 1950s but like, Lackadaisy itself does contain a few minor anachronisms so it probably won't affect anything
Hey, this is the same anon who requested the third years! If someone else offers something up for the Haikyuu slots or if you’re not comfortable with/don’t want this request, please feel free to decline! If the headcanons requests are still open, may I suggest/request: Haikyuu, one of the forms of team bonding is playing little tickle games and one time the first year boys challenged the third year boys to the arms up after the third years were claiming they could last way longer than the first years just did. If you want it narrowed down to just two, maybe Yamaguchi and Suga? All the karasuno team are friends your honor.
Headcanons To Dabbles: Officially CLOSED!
Hey friend! :D Good to hear from you again! :D This is super cute, and I'm more than happy to write this! I've gotcha covered! :D
It started as a casual comment.
“I bet we could beat the third years in a tickle battle.” Hinata smiled, fully aware of said trio sitting a few feet away.
What followed was controlled chaos.
~~~
“Ready…go!” Tanaka called, hitting the timer. Suga puffed his cheeks almost immediately when he felt fingers dig into his ribs, Yamaguchi’s touch light and skittery. It was the last chance to secure a victory for the third years- Daichi had won his round with a solid 20 seconds while Asahi failed after five. He had to beat 18 seconds in order to snatch the win.
The problem was he was rather sensitive to light tickles- something Yamaguchi seemed to excel in.
“Oo, look at that! He’s already starting to craaaack~” Hinata cooed in delight, pointing at Suga’s reddening cheeks. “Give in, Suga!”
“Don’t listen to them, Suga! Hang in there!” Daichi encouraged. “Focus on not reacting! Pretend he isn’t there!”
“Yeah, pretend Yamaguchi isn’t getting closer and closer to your armpits, seconds away from digging in and making you squeal like a baby.” Tsukishima smirked, eyes glittering when he saw Suga’s struggles increase. Yama, taking the hint, slowly began his ascent upward.
“Pfft-Pffuhuhuuhuuhuhuhft!” Suga puffed out a few giggles, fighting for his life to keep his arms up and out of the way, even as Yamaguchi brushed the cuffs of his t-shirt, hovering centimeters above his pits. “N-No! I woohoohn’t give up!” He was determined to win. “T-Tihiihihme?”
No number was given- or at least; none he could hear before Yamaguchi’s hands dug into his pits, making him squeal and shoot his arms down. “Ahehahahhahahahaha! Whahahhahait, wahhahahahaht-gheahahahahahhahahaha!”
“17 seconds! Ah, so close!” Tanaka announced, laughing as he watched Suga squeal and squirm all over the place, Yamaguchi following closely. “The winner of the first Bi-monthly tickle fight is the first years!”
Hinata and Kageyama whooped, slapping palms as Tsukishima smirked. Yamaguchi, feeling merciful, pulled his hands back with a cheer. “We won! What…what did we win?”
“A free pass to “Tickle Monster Island!” Daichi roared, wrapping his arms around Hinata and Kageyama, digging into their bellies and earning loud squeals. “Asahi, grab the others!”
“Wahahhahait! Whahahhait, no fahhahahhahhhahahair!” Hinata cackled out, his voice lost in the sounds of the rest of first year’s giggle fits as Asahi and Suga grabbed them, making short work of their tickle spots.
“Ahh, how I love team bonding days.” Tanaka sighed before putting his phone away, lunging at the nearest body.

Not only did Lana Del Rey start her Coachella headlining set early, but her entry was epic.
On Friday, April 12, at 11:16 p.m. the festival main stage screens showed an aerial view of Del Rey and her entourage rapidly approaching. As she neared, it became clear her crew was not rolling up on the expected golf carts that often shuttle stars around the Indio, Calif. fest, but rather motorcycles. And as a snippet of her never-to-be-officially-released song “Jealous Girl” played – with the lyric “Baby, I’m a gangster too” on loop – Del Rey’s motorcade took a lap through the crowd as she smiled and waved to the thousands of fans gathered for this very moment.
“What’s up, Coachella,” she asked casually, after making her way to center stage and offering a small smile before performing “Without You” into a fusion of Sublime’s “Doin’ Time” with “Summertime Sadness.” “I’m so happy to be here,” she added with another faint, and even briefer, smile. But keep in mind, this is Lana Del Rey – sad girl pop president and eternally committed to the bit, whether she’s headlining Coachella or not.
As such, her demeanor matched the elaborate set design that looked much like a dilapidated version of the Gatsby Mansion long after it had thrown its last party. Making it, of course, the perfect imaginary scene for Del Rey to host a late-night shindig of her own complete with a swing band and roaring 20s-inspired backup dancers.
Early into the set, Del Rey noted that she last played Coachella “exactly 10 years ago to the day” (during which she debuted single “West Coast”), before softly speak-singing, “We’re still doing it.” Yet, it’s not the fact that she is still here a decade in that’s impressive, but more so that she is still entirely and unapologetically herself after so many years – or at least, that the persona of Lana Del Rey is still so intact. In fact, across her nine studio albums, Del Rey has seemingly become even more herself, taking bigger experimental swings and offering longer, more eyebrow-raising track titles along the way.
And tonight, her headlining set seemed to be a quiet celebration of such, during which Del Rey sauntered across the stage performing career-spanning hits that, in a festival setting like Coachella, felt almost like underground gems that she was carefully unearthing. Even the expected “headliner stunts” were delivered with a delicate touch: She performed “Ride” while slowly spinning from within a circular, leaf-covered swing; delivered a gorgeous a cappella rendition of “The Grants” alongside her trio of backup singers; and, most notably of all, sang “Hope Is a Dangerous Thing for a Woman Like Me to Have – but I Have It” via hologram accompanied by collaborator and close friend Jack Antonoff on piano, who co-produced the track. (Earlier in the night, she was joined by Jon Batiste on piano for an extended version of “Candy Necklace.”)
The hologram – though a bit morbid, especially considering the lyric, “Hello, it’s the most famous woman you know on the iPad/Calling from beyond the grave” – perfectly punctuated the spirit of the set. As evidenced by her closing song selection of “Young and Beautiful” (which was prominently used in The Great Gatsby), it became increasingly clear that Del Rey had come to make a statement.
As she sings on “Young and Beautiful: “I’ve seen the world, done it all, had my cake now. I’ve seen the world, lit it up as my stage now.” All the while, the song’s primary question loomed: “Will you still love me when I’m no longer young and beautiful?”
Earlier in the night, Billie Eilish delivered an affirmative answer.
Following online rumors that the superstar would be making a guest appearance during Del Rey’s set (an artist Eilish has long been a fan of), she appeared toward its end atop the arched trellis to duet on “Ocean Eyes” and “Video Games” with Del Rey. After the two were done, they sat a moment longer, seeming genuinely stunned by one another’s presence. “Get the f–k out of my face,” laughed Eilish, speaking to her hero.
“Yep, that’s the voice of your generation, the voice of our generation,” replied Del Rey. “I”m so f—ing grateful she’s standing next to me right now.” To which Eilish replied: “This is the reason for half you b—-es existence, including mine.”
That simple sentence cut to the core of the evening. Sure, the set was spotty at parts – with moments of darkness and silence in between many songs and a handful of issues with mic volume, all of which Del Rey audibly called out. And yes, Del Rey’s soft-spoken tendencies on and off stage may have not made her the most obvious headlining act to kick-off Coachella. But it’s her impact that remains undeniable.
But don’t take my word for it, take it from “the voice of our generation.” The artist who we may not have had it not been for an artist like Lana Del Rey doing what she has and will always do best: being Lana Del Rey.
As she delivered the final note of “Young and Beautiful,” the band picked up steam and her dancers reappeared with champagne bottles in hand as fireworks exploded into the night sky – all the makings of a signature Gatsby blowout. And as Del Rey rode off on motorcycle, just as she came in, the party on stage continued long after she was gone. And that’s the point.
Her undeniable impact is also unforgettable – and exactly what makes Lana Del Rey the icon she is. And one well worth the celebration.

black and white 3: Gym Challenge
Unova is the only region to show more than 8 gyms in both the games and the anime so I think it’s be awesome to have the be the first to have more than 8 gyms for the player to challenge.
New Things
Pick up the trend of having no set Gym Order, but have the player able to pick from 3 home towns, one on each peninsula(?). Typically what ever gyms closest to it would be the player’s “First” gym but it isn’t entirely necessary to do so.
The hometown of the player is based on the Starter selected, as Prof. Bianca (Aspen) has shipped the pokemon to you with a note to meet her to get a newly minted pokedex.
Traveling across Unova is made easier as you can travel around across Unova via Gear Station early on OR the newly introduced Braviary/Mandibuzz Taxi
the Taxi Cab drivers and Depot Agents hate each others guts with a BURNING passion
There is also the Cirrus Ferry: boat that transports people from Virbank to Castelia and vice-versa
here’s where you would see Roxie’s dad as Captain as one of the boats, having found this a more reliable source of income than fishing
HERE YOU GET FISHING ROD
The Gyms
You only need 8 badges but Each Gym offers a TM/HM that the player may or may not want/need to explore Unova
The number of Gym Badges a player has determines the difficulty of the Gym Trainers and the Gym Leader’s Team (like how it’s implied to be in the manga/anime)
Rough idea on the Leveling:
0 badges (>15)
1 badge (>20)
2 badge (>23)
3 badge (>26)
4 badge (>30)
5 badge (>35)
6 badge (>40)
7 badge (>45)
8 badge (50-60)
Lenora:
TM: Roar
Nacrene Gym is now fully open now that she is off maternity leave (hence her gyms absence in BW 2)
Trainer is initially given a tour by a small child (who proudly presents the gym leader, their mom)
Player still has to face the Book puzzles
Hawes is battle before Lenora as the “final line”
Burgh:
TM: Struggle Bug
Striaton Trio: (more confident now that they trained themselves up since BW2)
TM: Hidden Power
if returned to post Gym Battle, Cilan can assess friendship and/or affection levels (reference to Cilan’s anime role as “pokemon connesiur”
Work Up can be found nearby the gym
Marshal:
TM: Rock Smash
decided he wanted to help more trainers one on one
So he stepped down opened up a new Gym/training facility (beating him grants access to IV/EV training stuff like in XY)
one of Gym Trainers named Stephon with a Sawk, referencing the Anime Character
Can Mega-Evolve his mien-shiao
Clay:
TM: Bulldoze
connect to Lian via Black Aguirite
Team Plasma tries to steal the few pieces he has but gets their asses handed to them with some help with the player
mentions it’s a incredibly rare mineral he’d recently found a small vein
he hasn’t seen since he was a kid
he knows it’s an evolutionary item but he hasn’t a clue as to what pokemon it’s for (lost knowledge he supposed)
His gym is the only a way to get Augirite (and by extension Kleavor) in game
Elesa:
TM: Volt Switch
Skyla:
TM: Acrobatics
Roxie:
TM: Venoshock
Has a toxtricity she caught when touring with a galarian singer(Piers)
Koffing’s evolved into Wheezing (possibly galarian!wheezing?”
Rematch postgame, she has a Hisiuan Sneasel from a friend who recently came back home
Brycen:
TM: Frost breath
he is contemplating retirement both as a gym leader and an actor,
Iris:
TM: Dragon Tail
Drayden fully retired- he can be seen around Opelucid city or at Gear Station checking in on the lone Subway Boss (Post game he can be battled at Gear Station)
Marlon:
TM: Scald
Establish friendship with Roxie through their shakers fishing background
Connect to Iscan by
showing a tank of white striped Basculin (he is part of a program attempting to bring them back as a breeding pair had been “discovered” recently)
Diamond clan pentagon decorating some old family heirlooms as well as the pearl clan circle
defeating Marlon in a rematch will grant you White Striped Basculin
only way in game to get Basculegion
NEW Steel Type Gym:
TM: Flash Cannon
NEW Rock Type Gym:
TM: Smack Down
NEW Fairy Type Gym: UNOFFICIAL
TM: Dazzling Gleam
Not a very popular gym between the gym leader’s personality and the general disinterest Unovan’s have towards the fairy typing (this is the lands of Dragons)
Gym leader with the LEAST amount of Unova Native pokemon (Whimsicott and a mega-Evolving Audino)
Only gym struggling to get recognition from the league
Gym badge is not recognized by the league BUT it’s the only place where you can get fairy type TM’s
Elite Four: (60-65)
Alder
Shauntal
Cheren- the position was offered up to him when Marshal stepped down (as Grimsley still has a few warrants he needs to clear up)
Caitlin
Champion: N (>65)
Darmanitan
Zoroark
I don’t know on the rest tbh
Probably combine from various teams
DOES NOT USE POKEBALLS- instead calls them forward like in Legends Arceus

7 (something fandom does that you like) for Henry and 20 (ideal best friend) for literally any (or all of) the triplets
“7. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you like?”
Ngl, I find a lot of the way the fandom talks about him somewhere on the spectrum of disappointing; however I do like how everyone knows just how much Henry and Charlotte love eachother. It’s universal knowledge that they love eachother more than life itself <3
“20. Which other character is the ideal best friend for this character, the amount of screentime they share doesn't matter?”
Peter: Alexander Lightwood, from the beginning. Peters got a little trio going on with Alexander and Zachary Carstairs, plus there are his sisters, but Alexander and Peter are Will and Jem level parabatai. They love each other dearly, and really are perfect for each other.
Marigold: Honestly she’s not great at the whole friendship thing. She gets along really well with Grace, her older brother but, you know, if Christopher had lived? They would have absolutely loved each other.
Thelma: If we’re looking at younger, roaring 20s aged Thelma, despite being a lot younger she gets along really well with Eugenia Lightwood- Thelma was convinced she was the coolest person ever as a wee little child, and once she got a little older they hang like old friends.
Also, her wife. Thelma enjoys her day to day company as much she enjoys everything else about her.

So far, all the writing prompts from the Surprise category have Hanji in them. Number 20 on Surprise!
This Dialogue Prompt (Where you are more than welcome to ask about)
*Scratches back of head* Alligators don't exist on Paradis. And does this have to be verbatim? Well, I'll try but temper expectations. That's all I ask.
"Um...Optimus!" Armin called out to the titan who was currently in bipedal mode. Optimus turned his gaze downward and kneeled down towards the soldier.
"Is my assistance required?" Optimus asked him.
"Well, yes, because...Hanji did something and it looks interesting I won't deny that, but-,"
"What is it exactly?" Optimus asked.
"It's better if we just show you," Armin pointed back to the port.
Optimus had followed Armin in holoform to a room on the lower, noticing a trail of water leading to the door. When Armin opened the door, Optimus was taken aback to see a giant sea creature lying on the floor, with Hanji quickly taking notes on it while Sasha was asking if they could eat it yet. Jean, Connie, and Eren were eyeing it a safe distance away while Mikasa had her 3D gear ready.
Optimus could only blink in confusion when everyone else noticed Armin and Optimus entered the room.
"Oh thank god," Jean sighed with relief as the trio went to stand by Optimus, "Hanji saw that thing on the beach and brought it in to study it."
"Surprisingly lively for something rather lazy!" Hanji commented with a smile, her outfit still soaking wet.
"Commander...," Optimus began, "...Hanji...would you care to explain why you dragged this large sea creature into the port?"
Hanji tilted her head at that. "You don't know what this is?"
"While I am someone who does not mind research and learning about new things, I do not think I have encountered a creature like this. There might be a species like this on Earth, but I may have missed it." Optimus kneeled down to examine the creature. It was quite blubbery, and spotted, with no ears, flippers and whiskers on its face. The creature did roar at him, causing Optimus to lean back a little.
"You should be glad Captain Levi isn't here an in the walls right now," Eren added.
"It'll be fine," Hanji reassured, "I'll study this some more, put it back where I found it and clean up the mess before Levi realizes what happened. Easy."
"The smell might not go away for a while," Mikasa reasoned.
"We are by the ocean," Hanji reminded, "We can blame it on that."
"I do not support this decision," Optimus explained.
"Prime, why is there water in the-!" Everyone turned to see Megatron's holoform walk in the room and spot the sea creature on the floor.
"What in the Pit is a seal doing in your office?" Megatron demanded. Megatron; however, realized his mistake when everyone stared at him like he had a third eye.
"You know what this is?!" Hanji exclaimed.
"Put the seal back in the ocean before I gut it right here and now!" Megatron yelled.
"NO!" Hanji screamed.
"YES! I want to eat it!" Sasha cheered.
"Ackerman, give me your blades!" Megatron ordered.
"Megatron!" Optimus stood up.
"I am not cleaning blood out of this room and having Levi kill us all!" Eren declared as he grabbed the seal by its hind flippers.
"Eren!" Hanji cried.
(That's the best I got. But basically Megatron letting it slip that he knows more about humans and life on this world than Optimus fucking Prime: the guy who loves humans.)

Enchanted Paris Doom Trio WITCHORIOUS Premieres Astounding Full-Length
~Doomed & Stoned Debuts~
By Billy Goate
Tumblr media
This debut LP by WITCHORIOUS is without doubt one of the finest doom metal offerings the year has given us. Antoine Auclair (guitar/vocals), Lucie Gaget (bass/vocals), and Paul Gaget (drums) have assembled a thoughtful collection of 10 tracks that draw upon the themes of classic horror and traditional doom metal, with prolific drumming, sinister guitar, and surreal atmosphere.
We begin with the ominous "Monster," which is surely the musical equivalent to a brooding stormfront. Each instrument brings its unique powers to the whole, generating a menacing sound that got me slow headbanging immediately. Vocals have the same Medieval gruff as classic Morgoth, full of prophetic dread.
The roars of "Catharsis" approach Domkraft levels of fierceness. With male and female vocals in the chorus, the effect is mesmerizing. The track following this is deeply atmospheric, with its fuzz-filled intro and repeated arpeggios forming a thick haze that bedazzles the listener into a strange, trancelike state. Appropriate considering this is "The Witch."
"Blood" is deliriously good. Again the riffs are on point! You'd have to go back to BelzebonG's Sonic Scapes & Weedy Grooves to find riffs this pure. The beat never lets up; it's a steady driver all the way through, keeping the narrative moving forward. Verses feature another lusty vocal performance and the chorus has tons of heart. I was happy there was room for a guitar solo.
Tumblr media
"Eternal Night" has an unsettling vibe akin to the band Demon Lung. When the solo erupts towards the end, it sounds like something between a siren and a sax, but it could be a guitar effect or synthesizer. Whatever it is, it's effective in bringing a chilling climax to the moment.
Once again, it's the vocals that make a song like "Sanctuaire" so convincing -- and this is to say nothing of the incredible drumming, subtle basswork, and atmospheric guitar play. Even the sequence of "heys" at 4:31 were dripping with the angst of instability, making me think of Kurt Cobain and Mark Arm.
After a brief interlude ("Amnesia") we're ushered into the album's final three songs. The vocal attack on "Watch Me Die" is just savage, utterly convincing, and the doomy guitar chords match the mood. "To The Grave" is chill by contrast, with acoustic strumming that allow Antoine and Lucy to vary their vocal delivery and range, as they're not competing with loud instruments.
Finally, comes "Why" (the longest track after "Sanctuaire" at 7:20). This one has a grooving bassline, bittersweet riffmaking, slappin' drums, and clear, sincere singing with a certain Ozzyesque mystique. The guitar solo is soulful and grungy with plenty of stoner sway.
Witchorious drops Friday, February 16th on vinyl, CD, and digital via Argonauta Records (get it here). Don't pass this one by! Stick it on a playlist with Amen-Ra, Beastmaker, Lord Vicar, Famyne, and Purple Hill Witch.
Give ear...

SOME BUZZ
Witchorious is a doom metal band from Paris, France. Founded in 2019, the trio is composed of Antoine Auclair (guitar/vocals), and brother and sister Paul (drums) and Lucie (bass/vocals) Gaget. Their first two singles “3 AM” and “Evil Creature” came out of darkness in 2020.
Their music blends bluesy riffs inherited from Black Sabbath, aggressive sounds supported by fuzzy bass lines in the likes of Electric Wizard, and intense atmospheres inspired by bands like Amenra and Mastodon. All this led by adventurous and solid drums, spawning modern chaotic doom metal songs with enraged vocals. Between screams and whispers, Antoine and Lucie’s voices have us travel from incantations to outpouring of despair. Each track will immerse you in the darkness of your mind, where you will keep looking for answers.
youtube
Dying to meet their audience, Witchorious played more and more gigs and opened for The Wytches in Paris and Westill Fest in November 2023. Witchorious’s debut album will be released in February 2024 through Italian label Argonauta Records. The album was recorded in Paris at Studio Sainte-Marthe by Francis Caste and contains 10 tracks that address psychic duality, human vice, and the inevitable fate of the world along with hellish fuzzy riffs.
Says the band:
"Initially, after the release of our double single, we were thinking of releasing a first 5-track EP. However, the health crisis dragged on and writing, like most bands, became our main activity. The writing of the album took around two years, with numerous arrangements on the tracks. The initiative for a track usually comes from a guitar riff and the vocals, and then we get together and each of us adds its own touch. We transform the song, the rhythm, its structure, until it sounds ‘Witchorious’. We wanted to create more modern sound and structures to avoid doing doom that we’ve all heard before.
youtube
"In the lyrics, we express our frustrations and self-awareness. The album deals with mental conflicts and psychological distress, the influence of human beings on their environment and on others... We were also keen to develop the character of the witch, who for us is a figure that represents oppressed minorities, whatever they may be. The witch frightens, disturbs and revolts, but at the same time fascinates and survives through the ages. We’ve had a lot of fun with the clichés of the genre, particularly around everything religious and satanic, because it creates an occult atmosphere that we love.
"This album is a concentration of our influences, a first step towards showing who we are, what our sound identity is, and what we have to say. By the time the album was recorded, the songs had really matured, and we fully focused on sound and ambiance. Francis helped us emphasize the evil aspect of the compositions, to make the whole thing sound really haunted."

Lee Minho should've known better, that a woman so beautiful was also secretive. That a woman so wanted in this mysterious club would obviously play hard to get. Did it help that she was also the owner of this place? No it did not.
But what did help was that a set of the smoothest pearls had fallen into his lap, and either on purpose or by accident, you had left him your necklace. Lee Minho couldn't decipher your intent, but at the very least, he found himself an excuse. It was as though petty fate that stopped him before was helping him proceed in this mission.
He searches for you in the crowd with continuous effort, but you seem to have disappeared a long time ago, as though your conversation with him was just another of his delusions. Lee Minho also realises that he's a little tipsy. He's starting to sweat under the warm suit in the crowded room, and he feels his heart rate pick up rapidly. Unlike how he had become tolerant of the alcohol here in Chicago, he wasn't used to this club as an entity, he especially wasn't used to you. For a trained detective like Minho, two minutes was all it took for him to decipher what a person desires, what their intentions are, but you were so hard to read. He had never felt so incompetent, so out of it before. He looks back at the bartender, who had offered him another free drink.
"What do they call her, that flapper?"
"She isn't just any flapper," the man replies with a smirk, "she's the most famous in the city, her stage name is Estelle Vin."
"Is she always that... mysterious? I can't help be drawn to her," Minho confesses foolishly, wanting to gauge the bartender further.
"Hmm, you're not the only one. Do you want me to return those pearls you're holding," the bartender replies.
"Don't worry, I need these as an excuse, if you know what I mean," he flashes a wink, pretending to be a lovesick fool, thouh he wasn't really sure it was pretention on his part. "Thanks for the free drink, I quite enjoyed it."
Lee Minho leaves with a small stumble, feeling the blood rush to his ears, his entire body getting warm. His vision is somewhat blurry, as he pushes his way towards the door he was eyeing before, his hands clutching the pearls close to his chest in his breast-pocket, holding on as though his entire life depended on it, and maybe it did.
He had to duck through the entrance to the dressing rooms, where he found himself standing in a complex maze. There were doors to the right and left of him, and a long corridor leading down. The shabby exterior was deceptive of the space within the club, and he could barely believe that it was just a small, rundown club that it lured people in as. He walks further down the corridor, when a singer comes out of a door on the left. She looks at him, startled by his intrusion. "Who...?How did you enter? It's authorised personals only."
He quickly apologises, and in convoluted sentences that his brain pushed out, explained that he had something to return. "The door was unlocked, and I need to see Ms Vin."
The lights dimmed nearby, signalling that a new performance was about to start. The stranger looks rushed and tries to shoo him away.
"Get out, and stop acting like a stalker. This would ruin your reputation Mr Claude Landry."
Lee Minho's eyebrows furrow in confusion. Why did a singer working here know his surname? He had only disclosed it to Mr Brown and a few other aristocrats. He was sure that most of them were tight-lipped about it, but now he was somewhat alarmed. Of course, as a man of public curiosity, along with him being a foreigner, it may not be as alarming. Maybe a clerk saw him sign it as Landry, and he overruled his previous suspicions. Absorbed in his thoughts, he slowly back away from this new area shrouded in mystery, until he feels the floor under his feet vibrating, as though something heavy was moving below.
"There's no way what I'm feeling is an earthquake now ma'am?" he questions, his suspicions aroused for perhaps the hundredth time in the night.
"I think you've had too much of hooch Mr Landry," the stranger replies.
Sure, he was somewhat intoxicated but there's no way he'd be this gone. He also made sure that the bartender didn't have any chance to spike his drink, which makes him feel fluky. The feeling increases, and he swears he can hear glass shatter below him, although faint. The Whangdoodle from the stage increases their volume as this happens, and Minho finds his ears ringing.
It was at that moment you spring out of your dressing room, almost alarmed. "Why are they so lou-" you exclaim but stop when you notice Minho.
His eyes look into yours, and for a second he feels relieved to see someone he knows, though barely. At least the situation didn't seem as unfamiliar as it did before.
"It's loud isn't it Ms Vin?" he asks, back to his stoic self, as though examining your anxious demeanour.
You hold back a breath, unsure how to answer the question. A new shipment was supposed to arrive today, and they're usually stored in the basement, which unfortunately happened to be right below where you were standing. You'd usually ensure that the entrance to this area was secure, but most of the men had gone to help carry the shipment in, which happened to be in excess today, and you must have left it open when you came back with your head muddled with thoughts of Minho. The fate that usually favoured you, happened to be sabotaging you today.
"Yeah, the band is louder than usual, I should probably check on them."
You locked your door to stop him from entering, and nod at your colleague. She tries to usher Minho back to the main area, and you also try to leave past him. He grabs your hands instead, and you feel his eyes on the back of your head.
"This must be yours," you see your pearls drop from his hands, clinking against his watch.
You only now notice that your neck was bare, putting your hand against it. Another sound erupts from the basement, and you get frantic. You watch as your colleague runs down to the basement to make them aware of how conspicuously loud they were being. Minho is quick to follow her with his eyes, suspicion written all over his face.
In spontaneity, you pull him into the dressing room you had previously locked. It was a last resort to distract him, stupid as it was.
"I... I can wear the necklace here," you say, pulling him closer to you. "Or maybe you'd like to put it on me?" you try flirtatiously hoping to keep his attention on just you. You sit down on the red chair, and remove the makeup from the counter. Luckily for you, Minho seems to appreciate this opportunity just as much as you, walking closer until his hand rests on your naked shoulders. He carefully held your long bob in a fist, placing the cold pearls as delicately as he could around your neck, taking quite some time. As he moves in closer, you feel his warm breath fanning your ear, where you're taken aback by his rapid breathing. You could feel it travel down your spine as he bends to snap it in place. It felt like he was holding himself back, deliberate, careful. Once he's done clasping the necklace, you look at him through the mirror, his eyes focused on you. You see him take your appearance in, and a small gasp leaves his mouth.
"You look beautiful y/n," he says in a deeper voice, taking you by surprise. Because you weren't taken aback by the compliment but by the fact that you had never once given him your real name, and the only thing he could find out was your stage name. Even some of your closest workers were hidden from your real identity.
But you didn't want to confirm this with this stranger, deciding it would be best to feign innocence. You furrow your brows as though it was annoyance. "Who's y/n? Your wife? A lover? A tomato you fell in love with?"
He smirks, "Future wife, maybe. Lover, if we're looking to start from today" he counters, snarky, yet in a weird way seductive. At this point you were beyond alarmed and tried extremely hard to keep yourself grounded to this new predicament.
"What do you mean by we? Besides if you want to address me, then you can call me Estelle."
"Well, are you jealous Estelle? Cause to be honest I'd rather call out your name later instead of y/n. I really hope you aren't y/n."
Who was he? Why did he care so much? Maybe he was mistaken, your name might be popular in France, or wherever he's from. Because there's no way he was referring to you.
You wanted to change the conversation desperately, you absolutely had to. In so many years of hiding behind a façade, it was scary having it disintegrated by a mere stranger.
"I'm not jealous, and don't be creepy, Claude. I don't think you should be here, unless you have more to speculate?"
He says nothing, instead he reaches for his breast-pocket for the umpteenth time, removing his linen handkerchief engraved with C.L and a classic fountain pen with gold borders.
"Time and date, for our next meeting," he asks sweetly, a charming smile painted on his lips.
You take his pen and examine it carefully. "Looks expensive, must be a family heirloom," you ask carelessly.
Minho smiles, as though he had already won this game of deception. Did he actually know your name? No. But he made a somewhat educated guess. Like most of the women of the time, you had tattooed on your back your social security number. As a celebration of autonomy, it had become a popular trend, which you also seemed to have followed. Luckily, for him, he had access to the case of a few bootleggers who were hidden so well that the only thing that could be traced was the social security number on someone's back. The number belonged to y/n l/n. Did it help that the social security number had no pictures? No. But did it help that the numbers on your back were visible to him as he placed the necklace on you? Of course it did. He decided to take a dangerous bet, and observe your reaction.
Beyond your unperturbed expression, he could see a shift in your body language, your fingers clasped onto your necklace tighter for sometime, before you recovered, your confident face wavering and your beautiful eyes shifting away from him . All he had to do was catch you in the act.
"You're such a liar Claude." you say out of nowhere. "What are you? A cop? you say also catching him off-guard.
"A cop, those incompetent people with a meagre salary? Of course I'm not, don't be ridiculous darling." he replies slowly.
He watches you smile, a menacing one that pretended to be comforting. "It was a joke, of course you're not a cop, you're big cheese around here," he takes the handkerchief from you, where he sees all you've written on it is "today" with a red lipstick stain on it.
"Today?" he raises an eyebrows in surprise. "Yeah, unless your bank's closed?" you entice.
He smiles and pulls you in swiftly. His unexpectedly rough hand that you would not expect someone rich to have, is on your back, drawing circles as his lips are pushed against yours. You taste the same cheap wine you had offered him towards the back of his tongue, except that it tasted so much better this way. You could taste remnants of the fake plum flavouring, mixed with the scent of your Chanel no 5 parfum taking over all your senses. You feel as his cold fingers trace definitely around your back. "Three" he whispers, "Eight," he continues, moving leftwards, causing goosebumps where he'd left his impression. "One" he continues. You pause for a moment, confused at the numbers he was repeating, until it eventually dawns on you. You push him away worried, your pearls clinking as you move back. "Anything wrong?" he asks innocently. You knew you couldn't directly admit to being a criminal. He wouldn't know just by your social security number, unless he was working with someone important. But he also somehow knew your name.
At this point you knew he wasn't a French Casanova, observing how his supposed "heirloom" had different initials engraved on the pen, L.M., which you were sure didn't belong to a Claude Landry, or that of a real family. It must have been a stolen good bought illegally, or that L.M were his real initials. The only way you could find out was if you played along.
"Nothing, I just needed a breather, your kisses are quite intense," you make a stupid excuse. Despite realising that you weren't yourself around him, you go back to making out with this handsome stranger, his hands going back to where they were until he managed to trace your entire number. He removes his tweed suit, and lifts up your dress until it was hiked far above your thighs, and with every movement the tassels of your dress get tangled up near his zip. You unbutton his cotton shirt, holding the fabric close, revealing his chest which was so much warmer than your hands. A chill blows through the window, and you shiver in between his warm touches. He stops there for a minute, and eyes the bottle of rum on your counter. He lifts you with ease, and places you on the counter, where your social number was reflected in the mirror, as though everything about you had finally been revealed.
"We should make our last toast," he speaks up breathless, sipping out of the bottle, then holding it to your lips. You accept, and gulp down more than you usually do. Something tells you it would be the last time you'd be this delirious, yet so satisfied. It was like with every kiss, he meant to take you down, in more ways than one. His kisses travelled down your body, scattered, frenzied. He kissed as though this was the first and only time he'd be this close to you. Soon you also gave in to the delicate pressure with all your being, overruling your innate intuition, lost in his seduction.
You were so guilty of doing this. Of finding comfort in the way he moaned your name, your real name, in low whispers, something you'd never trust anyone to do. And it didn't matter what secrets he hid when he made you feel this good. Though you were always guilty of lying to others, so was he. In a weird way, for tonight both of you would be equals- equally guilty parties for betraying yourselves.
Similarly, no one would ever fathom how utterly guilty Lee Minho felt with his tongue driven down your throat, enjoying it despite knowing you were a criminal. It was as though he couldn't let go, and for a minute he felt like none of it mattered, and that you were as innocent as your kisses fluttering over his collarbones. For tonight, he'd become the sinner, not you.
The same Lee Minho who hated being drunk during work hours, was beyond pleased, convincing himself that it was just for tonight. For just this night, he'd given into this hedonistic urge, of wanting nothing but a taste of your body, of your attention and your entire world which he would eventually have to destroy tomorrow. But tomorrow was so many kisses, so many secrets and so many bottles of alcohol later. So he continued deluding himself with your moans and soft lips, until he could no longer despise himself for his new intoxication: you.

Word circulated around Orario about a new monster appearing in the beginner levels of the Dungeon. Fearing another event like Bell's fight with the minotaur happening to another unprepared adventurer, high alert notices were placed all around the Guild. Precautions were put into place to explore the tunnels with care and only when led by those with knowledge of that particular dungeon floor until further notice.
Ais and Ryuu were one such party, being among those in the Level 6+ groups who would be able to take on anything that came their way. Lefiya, although being a Level 4, also tagged along. Maybe wanting to ensure she could be able to support Ais on her own without needing support from their usual Loki Familia party, maybe knowing the weight of seeing a friend slain in battle with your own eyes is not one she'd wish even on her worst enemies, she insisted on her invitation and the two agreed. The trio ventured forth without a hitch, slaying monsters well into the Middle Floors. As they thought nearing Floor 20 was a good break point for the day and to relay the area is clear to the Guild, they headed back to the entrance. They were mere meters away from it as they rounded a corner and then...
The three saw the entrance was surrounded by a fair amount of creatures, largely consisting of bugbears and a few orcs. A strange collection of monsters for sure, but nothing they haven't dealt with prior. Ais and Ryuu readied their stance, Lefiya let out a quick heal to give them one more burst of energy to take out this group and make their return. And yet...Ais sensed something was off. Just like that minotaur who found that white-haired boy that fateful day, there was something not meant to be on this level. The mob let out a huge roar, blowing the trio a tad off balance but making their hair whip in the vortex. Ais still felt uneasy, noticing the roaring creatures changed stance, creating one large gap in their formation.
"A new tactic?" Ais thought, thinking the roaring was a distraction as the opening would allow for a monster to charge forth or shoot out a projectile. But as the dust kicked up in the roar, she could only spot a pair of bright yellow snake-like eyes. The wind was still kicking up, Ryuu blocked out enough dust blowing into her eyes to catch another such set of eyes on a body crawling on the wall. Lefiya was nervous but held her own ground, not wanting to desert the team and being ready for their next course of action. But the horde was about to put a full stop to that concern.
Ryuu called out "It's here! Retreat back around the-" but in mid-sentence, the two entities readied their gaze and, within a flash cast from their lustrous eyes, blinded the area around the trio. As the light faded, three statues were left in the wake. The petrification was so swift to the point that the trio couldn't even react quickly enough to everything from skin to fabric being converted into stone. Consciousness immediately left their body along with shards of armor not being able to hold the conversion and weight of its new stone form.
Several days pass, Ais's party hasn't checked in. A few members of Loki Familia formed a party in search of them and made their way down the spiraling passages. Immediately on entry to the 19th floor, they saw her motionless likeness in the dust. Closer inspection quickly turned elation into shock to see what was thought to be a strangely-placed sculpture of Ais turned out to BE her, with Ryuu and Lefiya nearby succumbing to the same effect. These floors being desolate and damp as they are, the limited time that passed was enough for moss to grow on the statues and deterioration to worsen with stone hair plummeting to the ground. This party had questions as to why these creatures, capable of freezing Level 6+ adventurers with no issue, would leave them as they were and not shatter them completely.
A teasing show of mercy to try and restore them back for a second try? A twisted statue garden for their own pleasure? A declaration that they could emerge to the surface if Ais's party wasn't an obstacle to them? And with the most recent Guild news being the creature had yellow snake-like eyes and learning now it can do something like this, did they even know if it was a gorgon or a basilisk? A new creature altogether?
Many answers they desired, with a way to reverse the petrification at the top. This was enough to let them know the dungeon had far more dangers to throw their way without hesitation.
