KFP: The Paws Of Destiny AU

Since this takes place in, near & mostly around the Valley Of Peace, some things will be changed to fit the narrative.

"Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny follows the adventures of four energetic panda kids: Nu Hai, Bao, Jing, & Fan Tong. When the friends stumble upon a mystical cave beneath Panda Village, they have no idea they're about to absorb the chi, or energy, of ancient kung fu warriors known as the Four Constellations. Now it's up to them to save the world from an evil force — but first, Master Po must teach them how to use their newfound powers.

Based on traditional Chinese astronomy, the Four Constellations—Blue Dragon, Black Tortoise, White Tiger & Red Phoenix—are said to have been the first warriors to achieve total mastery of chi. A few millennia ago, the masters used their powers to defeat their corrupt master, Jindiao. Worried their good chi couldn't exist without a powerful dark chi to balance it out, the masters then sealed themselves into an underground temple to keep the world safe. Little did they know that Jindiao still lives. If Jindiao can absorb the Four Constellations’ chi and restore himself to his purest form, the world will be in grave danger."

Keep in mind I wrote this down 3 years ago and have not seen half of Season 2 yet or even remember most of what happened in Season 1. I like the idea of this being more spreaded out instead of one arc at a time because it feels overwhelming to me personally. It's to have Jindiao be the big bad and endgame villain by the end of the series/season while the New Constellations get a rogues gallery as they progress, not to mention their training developments.

Anyways underneath are unedited changes I would do but not actually write, just some ideas.

Spoilers, obviously.

The Dragon Master

"After accidentally absorbing the mystical hero chi of the Four Constellations, four panda children enlist the help of the Dragon Master to control it's energy & learn kung fu."

‌they get excited, accidentally knock down a peach monument in town

‌try to get it back, explore, got curious after going out to buy supplies for Mei Mei & end up finding a hidden temple

‌they look into the scrolls about the Four Constellations thanks to Monkey

‌Po talks to Master Shifu about it

Playing With Fire

"When the kids grow overconfident and prideful after beginning their training, they decide to intercept a distress call and sneak off without permission, only to land themselves in hot water."

‌Jindiao kills to obtain chi

‌Po does his research, Crane helps with the scrolls

‌nothing else changes

Sword And Shield

"The kids are recruited to perform in Mei Mei's theatrical show, but things take a turn when an unexpected guest ruins the play in order to find the mystical scroll."

‌Po has a vision of two dragons fighting to the death

‌they find the temple near the valley

‌Jindiao punishes Jade Tusk before summoning their demon

‌they go to Mei Mei's house, Viper & Li Shan are there

‌Mr. Ping enjoys the show with Li while selling dry salted plums

‌Mei Mei & Viper perform together

The Path Of Healing

"Grand Abbot Jindiao visits the Jade Palace and the students participate in an exhibition match."

‌Tigress greets the pika monks

‌Tigress takes Li's place and a pig takes Grandma Panda's

‌the tournament takes place at the Jade Palace arena

‌Po wears his chi clothes when fighting an evil dragon

Fistful Of Herbs

"When Po discovers he was poisoned, he sets off to a caravan oasis in the hopes of finding out who the perpetrator is."

‌Mantis deducts the soup was poisoned to weaken Po and says the materials are made by an alchemist from Tuoluo

‌Po tells the kids he's on work leave, he's also more strict with them after they follow him

‌nothing else changes

Poison In The Pit Of The Plum

"When Po and the kids stop for the night at an inn, they unwillingly get into a fight and end up down a path to uncovering Jindiao's plan."

‌literally nothing changes except they stay a bit longer at the inn this episode is perfect

Trouble In The Valley

"The New Constellations leave Po to escape into the forest and head back to the Valley Of Peace to warn about Jindiao."

‌Po hangs out with Bunnidharma

‌the kids head back home

‌tell the Furious Five, and warn the valley of an upcoming threat

‌the Five fight Jindiao & his monks

‌the Five will not allow the lives of children & the fate of the universe fall to the claws of the Dragon Master

Shadow Of A Doubt

"The New Constellations meet an unlikely ally when they try to find their master."

‌the Furious Five put up a long fight while protecting the citizens

Zeng helps the kids into the Jade Palace's secret tunnels to escape

‌Shifu finds the kids on his way from a trip as he's returning to the valley

‌he helps them get out to go find Po

‌Po was terribly injured

‌nothing else changes

Onto Thin Ice

"After a shocking revelation, Po is determined to find his students while Jing faces Jindiao."

‌Shifu reunites with the Furious Five

‌they meet Zhizhu

‌Po carries a satchel? suspicious

‌nothing else changes

The Four Constellations

"The New Constellations go to the Spirit Realm and meet the Four Constellations in the hopes of learning how to use the urn."

‌the monks are murdered for their chi

‌Po wears his chi clothes in the spirit realm

‌the Four Constellations play volleyball with the New Constellations & teach the kids those moves properly

‌opening the Wellspring and containing it drains your life force if you don't have a strong chi, it may kill them but their mystical chi will remain

‌they get back to their beach sitting

‌nothing else changes

Unholy Dragon Of The Mountains

"Jindiao takes the New Constellations hostage in an attempt to locate the Wellspring."

‌pandas sent the Wellspring & Zhizhu to Oogway, anybody who can give chi can be a guardian

‌the Furious Five and Shifu prepare to face Jindiao

‌Po tries to heal Bunnidharma with his chi but fails to do so

‌they leave Bunnidharma in the snow after he dies

‌Po says no matter what happens, they need to aim at Jindiao after they open the Wellspring

‌Zeng takes Mr. Ping's place

‌Mei Mei joins the Five because she's worried about Nu Hai and Bao

‌Po reveals that the destroyed Spirit Urn was a fake

‌Shifu, the Furious Five & Mei Mei arrive just in time

‌the kids' bodies turn to jade statues from opening the Wellspring, they are sent to the spirit realm

At The Edge Of Time

"The kids are desperate to get back and help the Valley Of Peace while Po figures out a way to defeat Jindiao."

‌the kids surface from the water near the Four Constellations' Island in the Spirit Realm

‌Po is in despair, Mei Mei lashes out at him in grief

‌Shifu says something inspirational

‌Jindiao tears down a mountain of jade in the valley & burns the villages to the ground

‌Po plans to use the Wuxi Finger Hold on Jindiao, the Five & Mei Mei distract him while Shifu helps Po

‌the Four Constellations do domestic work while watching the kids; Blue Dragon kelp farms, Black Tortoise makes tea, Red Phoenix and White Tiger play mah jong

‌a chi seal prevents Jindiao from leaving the valley, he needs Po's hero chi to leave

‌Po sends Jindiao to the Spirit Realm as his hero chi is completely drained

‌Po wears his clothes in the spirit realm

‌with Po's chi, Jindiao can leave the spirit realm and the valley

‌Po manages to escape the demon & arrives at the Constellations Island by boat

‌he honourably greets Blue Dragon, and is greeted by Nu Hai

‌the demon finds him shortly

‌Po kicks ass, the kids help him

‌Po is still weak

‌he hungers for his chi & goes absolutely feral on his path as a dragon, forgetting about the kids

‌the Four Constellations tell the kids to do what Po did, he doesn't have his chi anymore, it's no excuse for them

‌they give up their remaining life force to the kids

End Of The Dragon Master

"Po, the New Constellations, the Furious Five, and the citizens of the Valley Of Peace must work together to defeat Jindiao once and for all."

‌Nu Hai turns into a dragon, Bao turns into an Indian Black Turtle, Fan Tong turns into a phoenix & Jing turns into a white Bengal tiger

‌Po attacks Jindiao, drains his chi & accidentally sends them all out of the Spirit Realm

‌the New Constellations end up back in the temple & see their jade bodies

‌Po & Jindiao pass out as dragons in the valley until Po gets up to fight Jindiao & completely drain him out

‌he goes overboard and gets distracted, allowing Jindiao to take advantage by biting him in the neck

‌Po stabs Jindiao with his horns, they fight to the death

‌Jade Tusk & Mei Mei

‌Jindiao threatens to kill everyone if they don't hand over the kids, with a beaten Po under his clutches

‌Zhizhu does his thing

‌the citizens of the valley give their chi to the New Constellations

‌Jade Tusk gives the urn to Po

‌Jindiao bursts into flames & turns to ash

‌the kids only have one last use of their mystical hero chi

‌Po & Jade Tusk are badly wounded

‌they are healed with others chi, although Po's body will take time, Jing feels especially at fault

‌the citizens rebuild the valley & the Four Constellations get new statues (?)

‌a month later, Shifu supervises the kids at the dojo and congratulates Po

‌Po, the Furious Five, Shifu, Mei Mei, Li Shan, Mr. Ping and the New Constellations go to a peach blossom forest for Po's dragon body ascension
