Mary Anne was really enjoying owning a Casino. It resulted in her spending a lot more time at home, whereas before she spent all her time not at the Casino at work.

Garrick - Rick really loves having you around more. He’s glad you’ve been joining us on our hikes in the terrific weather we’ve been having.

Mary Anne - I do feel like I missed out on a few things. But I’m glad to be around more now.

Garrick - The thing is, I’ve been meaning to talk to you about something serious. When Rick comes to live with me in a couple of years, once his brothers are both at University, I want to move us onto a farm.

Mary Anne - A farm...?

Garrick - I know. You would hate it. I guess it’s a good thing we’ve divorced, even though you’re around more than you were back then...

Mary Anne - Certainly, I much prefer to own a Casino than live on a farm.

Garrick - Of course. But Rick would love it. We’ll have some sheep and some goats. It’ll hopefully be in Huntsville, so we won’t be that much farther. You would be welcome anytime.

Mary Anne - Rick does love farms...Let me think about it.

Trans woman Stella Terrano - I don’t have the “aliens are intersex” HC a lot of people subscribe to and imagine the pure aliens hav a kinda insect-y biology where there’s only one birth queen per colony and the rest are all AMAB

Trans woman Jenny - I like how so much of the sims fandom has embraced this one, idk.

The Contary family is next, and they have a new family member. Kitty Alice the cat had to be rehomed by her previous owners, the Joques, and Rick adopted her. Thankfully, Kitty Alice seems to actually get along with Snowflake, unlike the cats in her old home.

Young Atom unexpectedly receives a magic lamp. He's more interested in his toys and children's book at this point in his life, though. And Merrill leaves for college. It's unfortunate that she has to leave home so soon after her dad's passing, but maybe new place will be good for her.

The family starts the day early.

A little recap, since it's literally been years: here we have Edward and Opal, still happily married. Rick and Opal have repaired their damaged relationship over the years. Although Rick never became too close with his father, they at least get along - kinda like the cats.

Rick is married to Stella Terrano, and they have a son named Atom. Atom was born in the desert, but he actually loves the cold and is not afraid to say so.

Merrill is Edward's alien daughter. Her birth was the reason the family moved to Strangetown.

Kitty Alice won’t stop fighting the other cats, so by the end of the rotation the family makes a hard decision - they have to find a new home for her. Violet asks around, and her old friend (a.k.a amicable ex) Rick agrees to take Kitty Alice in. He already has a cat but she’s very friendly, so hopefully the cats’ relationships will be better in Kitty Alice’s new family.

Rick gets a box of cat stuff from Violet, and after the last swat of her paw, Kitty Alice is on her way to Strangetown.

Malcolm V: Why do we have to go by train if you have a car now, anyway? And why does your stinky dog get to ride in the front?

Marion: I can’t drive between towns yet. Get in the back, we’re running super late.

Marion was meant to take Malcolm to a Halloween-themed park in Belladonna Cove but they ended up missing their train after all. Now they have to make do with the Bluewater fair instead and it quickly becomes apparent that it’s… less than ideal.

The trash compactor is broken and it’s very angry about it. Stella gets shocked, so a repair service is called - and a repairwoman also gets shoked, and then a fire starts. The repairwoman reacts quicker than both Edward and Rick despite being crisply electrocuted and brings little Atom to safety while the men panic. At least they look embarrassed about it. Hopefully the fire department will award the repairwoman for her bravery. :D
