My take on the Moxley concussion thing is Rick Knox should be fired.
AEW ref Rick Knox decided to protect the planned finish, instead of protecting Jon Moxley He stopped the count, and allowed the match to continue, when Mox clearly got dropped on his head. He needs to be fired, for his incompetence. Things like this can’t happen.
And let me remind you. Alex Reynolds got knocked out, Knox didn't even check on his lifeless body in the middle of the ring.
This is not the first time and it won't be the last time it will happen. To this day, I have no idea how AEW got away with this gross negligence

I love Jon Moxley so much, but the decision to continue that match should have never been in his hands. Tony, in Rick's ear, should've called it off, and Rick should have complied no matter how much Mox and Rey would have wanted to keep going. Why even have a referee if they'll 1) Break the illusion by breaking the count, which indicates what the planned finish was? Just count. Figure the story out later. 2) Sees that wrestlers are legitimately hurt but allow them to keep wrestling past their physical limit? That decision puts everyone in the ring in danger depending on how incapacitated the wrestler is. I just don't understand the point of having safety personnel if they're not going to actually keep anyone safe by superceding a wrestler's ego or need to "entertain the fans.". I don't want to see someone get absolutely blanked in the ring or even killed because a referee let the talent have the final say on a dangerous spot or injury.
