🖊️ Pi and Banku
Tumblr media
Pitagora Suitchi (often just pita for short now)! one of the first stepswitcher ocs who got a name, along with Yea and Rei (the reason why there were three to start is because lockstep practice has three, you see…). He used to be grey and white but got changed to green and yellow (sort of like how rei is usually purple and white now). he's cheerful and friendly but also rather impulsive-- two (still) WIP comics are "pita incident 1" and "pita incident 2" lolll
gaming buddies with banku! probably likes competitive games (unlike rei, who generally prefers co-op games.)
friends with yea and rei! sometimes it's kinda awkward (lol) but they care for each other a lot!! also likes rei romantically and sometimes they get cute moments together (sometimes bc the amount of doodle posting decreased again oops)
Tumblr media
Banku! Rei's older brother and generally cool dude! gaming buddies with a lot of the other characters (probably)! has a lot of board games and card games!
he likes fuzzy animals! especially foxes! the ears on his headphones were intended to be fox ears, but i never mentioned that so most people probably assume they're cat ears aha;;
he's been out of focus since i have a tendency to draw rei-centric stuff a lot of the time (oops 3)

AziraCrow | Book Reading
(Scroll down for mini story vvvv) + (Companion Piece)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Aziraphale liked books, especially the old ones. They were the main reason for owning his bookshop, after all.
He loved reading them, too. Sitting quietly in the back of his bookshop with a good book and the occasional accompaniment of an old record made for quite the delightful evening, in his opinion. Despite his being handless (and therefore, fingerless), Aziraphale was perfectly capable of turning pages on his own. Not with his talons of course; Heaven only knew the trouble that would come from attempting to turn the aging and potentially fragile paper with such unreliable instruments. It would be a simple enough fix if a page did happen to tear, but the memory would haunt him forever. Instead, all it took was a flick of his wing and woosh, the pages would turn themselves. Sometimes he just had to ask nicely. However, there were times that he didn't need to expend the effort.
Those times just so happened to coincide with a particularly serpentine visitor.
Crowley's visits were irregular and not always predictable. Most of the time he would pop in to complain about Who-Knows-What and disappear off to Who-Knows-Where. Sometimes he would stay longer, and they would share a glass of wine or some other alcohol, chatting a lot about nothing and reminiscing about times long passed until the shadows grew long. On rare occasions they would sit in comfortable silence, doing nothing more than enjoying each other's company. Aziraphale would then pick a book to read and Crowley would slither over to join him.
Of course, Crowley didn't like reading - or at least claimed he didn't. 'Not worth his time,' he'd say dismissively. Still, he (bored expression and all) would come, make himself comfortable by coiling around both the book stand and Aziraphale, and just watch. Just about anyone on Earth would likely be uncomfortable being stared down by such an intense gaze, but not Aziraphale. Over the many millennia, he has grown used to being observed by those golden eyes. Dare he say, he even found it comforting in a way, but that was besides the point.
He wasn't sure how it started; perhaps Crowley found himself overly bored that day, but he began turning the book pages whenever Aziraphale raised his wing to compel them instead. It had started him at first, and he had looked to Crowley with much confusion, though the demon had nothing to say in return. He merely shrugged (or at least it could be considered the serpentine equivalent of a shrug) and turned away. A few more pages in, and he'd turn them again. This happened over and over until Aziraphale heaved a sigh gave in, allowing the serpent to do as he wanted. At first, it was quite awkward to give verbal cues, and there were times when he became so engrossed in his reading that he forgot entirely, but eventually they settled into a comfortable rhythm. Nowadays he didn't even bother. It had become almost automatic: Aziraphale would finish the page and it would turn, no questions asked.
Aziraphale suspected it would baffle the minds of many to see a demon treat anything so gently, yet Crowley turned the pages in such a way that they were never bent nor crumpled. In fact, it seemed to him that the older the book was, the gentler Crowley'd be. He seemed... 'content' was the wrong word to describe his attitude towards the activity, but he never said a word otherwise. At least, not to Aziraphale.
He never pointed this out, of course. Crowley would stop doing it if he did, and he didn't WANT him to stop. He enjoyed it too much.
Once in a blue moon, Crowley would make a comment about whatever Aziraphale was reading at the time. It was often snide, mocking, not always audible. Hisses of exasperation or an exaggerated eye roll were not uncommon either. Then he would turn away, bored despondence washing over his face, shutting down any attempts to further the conversation. Not that he would respond if Aziraphale did, though that hadn't stopped him from trying. On one occasion Aziraphale had tried to push the topic, only for Crowley to deflect, insisting that he had only glanced the passage at random. He stopped turning the pages then. Aziraphale never tried again and settled with only giving him sidelong glances when he said something particularly egregious.
And so they would read, the silence broken only by the ticking of an old clock and the occasionally rustle of a page.
...
Aziraphale liked his books.
He liked reading them alone in his bookshop.
But he liked them best when Crowley was there to turn the pages for him.

Tumblr media
How long has it been since you last went to a concert? Too long and now, you weren’t no longer used to the sweaty and murky atmosphere all around you. After being forced by your friend to get in line since early in the morning to get the best view, now you found yourself pressed against the iron bars just under the stage while people all around you screamed and danced to the pre-songs.
You liked the band that was about to perform, but to stay under the stage? It was a firm no for you. Your friend next to you was hopping up and down, screaming, and talking to everyone around you about the songs they expected the band to perform. You groaned as you were forced against the bars for the nth time, and your friend turned to face you. “Aren’t you excited? You are finally gonna see them!,” she screamed, gripping your arm before starting to jump up and down and looking at you so excitedly. As if she wasn’t the one who couldn’t stop dancing around while talking about the songs.
You nodded at her, and thanked the heaven when the person who was opening the concert came on stage, and the entire arena went black, distracting your friend from annoying you. People started to cheer around you, but many of them were still distracted from what was coming next.
The space around you was big, the biggest you have ever seen, and it was packed of people. Some of them had headbands over their forehead who pictured the four members to the band: Gojo Satoru, Geto Suguru, Shoko Ieiri, and Kamo Choso. Others had t-shirts about them and you couldn’t help yourself from searching Choso’s face on every merch.
When mayhem broke loose, you were soon drawn out of your thoughts. The individual on stage has just completed singing their songs and called the band to the stage. Everyone surrounding you began to shout at the top of their voices and bounce around you, holding their phones up in the air to capture the moment the four band members appeared on stage.
Someone you didn’t recognised silenced everyone from the stage and your breath hitched. You felt everyone around you do the same, while some of them tried to catch sight of who was on the black stage.
And hell broke free when the lights were turned on and the first note was sung.
Your friend began to scream, and you couldn't help but join in, raising your hands in the air and cheering for the four individuals on the platform. When you saw them all so close together, you couldn't help but notice how beautiful they were. How could they seem like Greek gods who just happened to be on stage with a few instruments?
On the left side of the stage, the one farthest from you and your friend, there was Shoko with his electric guitar. Her brown hair was unbound as she nodded her head to the rhythm of the song, her beautiful face serious while she glanced at the audience before bringing her gaze back on her guitar.
Satoru was the main vocalist, and you could see why everyone was on their feet for him: his white hair and blue eyes could captivate anyone, but what really made him stand out was his enticing attitude.
On the center of the stage, behind, Suguru was playing the drums and… wow. It should be illegal to be that handsome and be around freely. He had a smirk on his lips, which made you skip a heartbeat, wishing he could look at you that way. His dark hair was unbound while he held his drumsticks with his strong muscular arms and rolled them between his fingers. He sure seemed like he knew how to use them.
But your screaming stopped when you looked up to the right side of the stage, and you gaze met with the bass player, Choso. You felt as if you had been drawn into another dimension by his black eyes, which were looking directly at you. It only lasted a second, but as he looked away, you believe he winked at you and the corner of his lips were slightly tugged upwards. Your jaw opened, and you took him in completely: he had his normal ponytails, and purple makeup was on his eyes, emphasizing his aloof appearance. And you might have fainted when you saw that he was wearing a sleeveless jacket with nothing underneath. You caught a peek of his toned abs, and your eyes widened when you noticed his long, slender fingers leisurely playing the bass.
As the concert went on, you kept cheering for the band even if most of your enthusiasm was towards Choso, from which you couldn’t look away. And you couldn’t really understand if you were dreaming, or was just hallucination when you caught him glance at you too many times before he quickly looked away. And as they played, he started to get bolder and would go around the stage, playing with his band members and sometimes singing at the same microphone of Gojo, enjoying the loud screams that followed the act.
When they announced that their concert was coming to an end, you felt disappointed and joined the crowd when they started to cheer for the band to sing one last song, in particular their most famous one. You felt yourself head over heels to hear it and, of course, it wasn’t really because Choso had a bigger part in it, no.
You screamed and raised your arms over your head, holding your phone to film Choso as he sang, before he screamed just over the music, “who wants a kiss?”. You screamed again and raised your hand, just as everyone else did, because who could hurt to be a little delusional? You laughed as you observed him and, just like all the people around you, everyone was taking it as a joke. However, he pointed towards your direction, smirking, “you want one?,” he asked you, his voice reverberating all around the arena, and you nodded, thinking that he was surely referring to another person around you. You laughed with your friend, but your eyes widened when you saw him remove his bass from his shoulder and jump down the stage.
You looked around to see if someone was waiting for him, but you surely weren’t expecting to see him walking towards you with that sexy smirk and all sweaty. Everyone was screaming around you and reaching towards him with their hands when he stopped in front of you, and you looked up at him awestruck. He was smiling at you, and he nodded, asking for permission with a soft “yeah?”. And before both of you could change your mind, you nodded.
Time stopped when he held your face between his hands and leaned closer to you, placing his lips against yours. You couldn’t hear anything else, or see when the only thing you could focus on was him, and the softness of his lips against yours. He smelled of sandalwood and citrus, with a hint of sweat, and you thought that no one has never smelled better than him.
The kiss lasted a few seconds and when he pulled back, the world came around again and you heard everyone screaming around you, looking at you two with wide eyes. Choso was smiling at you before he let you go and went back to the stage, putting back his bass around his shoulders.
Gojo was joking about the kiss and the way Choso stole the attention of the audience from him, while Shoko and Suguru laughed. As they went on with the song, your friend was tugging you and telling you about how lucky you were, but your gaze was fixed only on Choso and the way he still kept glancing at you. There was a faint blush on his cheeks and he laughed to himself as he finished to sing the song.
When the concert ended, everyone came up to you to ask how was the kiss, but you couldn’t really put your head around what happened. Was it really possible for something like this to happen? And why Choso choose you in particular? Your head was full of question as your friend pulled you out of the arena.
When you were outside, you took a deep breath, finally having a breath of fresh air. “Let’s smoke before going home,” she told you before taking your hand and tugging you towards a more secluded spot where the smoke wouldn’t annoy anyone.
Both of you had cigarettes between your lips, when you realised you didn’t have a lighter. Your friend went to ask to people around if they had one, but no one seemed to smoke. You sweared under your breath and were currently discussing with your friend when you heard someone call you from behind. “Hey!,” you heard, and both you and your friend turned around to see a bodyguard standing just outside a door. You shared a glance with your friend before looking back at the man, and pointing at yourself, confused. “Yeah, you… you’re the one Choso kissed, right?,” he asked you at which you blushed slightly, before nodding, “yea,” you answered, looking around you and making sure no one was listening to you.
The bodyguard pointed with his thumb towards the iron door, “come,” he said briefly. Your eyes widened at his words and you looked at your friend, both of you thinking to run away from the creepy man. You removed your cigarette from your lips, the same Choso kissed, before smiling embarrassed at the bodyguard, “we were actually going away… sorry,” you said before taking a step back and tugging your friend with you. You saw the bodyguard getting annoyed from your act, and let out a sigh, “Choso asked for you, girl,” he explained, a hit of exasperation in his voice.
But luck kissed you once, and who could assure you that he was saying the truth? So you glanced at your friend again and you were ready to run away, when you saw a familiar head pop up from the iron door. All the breath was sucked away from your lungs when you met Choso’s eyes, and you almost dropped your cigarette at the sight of his grin. The bodyguard immediately got alarmed and tried to push Choso inside, scared that someone was gonna see him outside, “get inside, Choso,” the man told the musician. The latter laughed and nodded at you, “come inside to have a chat?,” he asked you before the bodyguard closed the door behind him, leaving you to wonder if it was real or just a mirage.
You realised it wasn’t a dream when you found yourself in the backstage, your friend next to you and the bodyguard guiding you to the sitting area, after searching you for any weapons. As if, you thought.
“Sit here,” the man said, pointing to the couch and waiting for you two to sit before he left. You heard people scurrying around, putting away stuff and screaming some orders when you felt the couch dip to your free side. When you turned to see who was, your eyes widened at the sight of Gojo. “So… I guess you really enjoyed the kiss? Didn’t know Cho had such courage in him,” he told you, chuckling at the sight of your shocked face. When you took too long to answer, Gojo leaned back against the couch and looked at you with a smirk, “guess you really bewitched him, mh? By the way, what is your name, pretty?”. You blushed at the pet name before your friend tended her hand towards the singer and smiled at him charmingly, introducing themselves.
Gojo was handsome and you were really happy to see him, but—
“You came,” a relieved voice said behind you, and you didn’t have to turn around to know that it was Choso. However, your head whipped towards him in a second and you felt your cheeks burn at the sight of him, his hair unbound and changed into comfier clothes. “Want to smoke?,” he asked you, nodding towards a door nearby while taking out a pack of cigarettes. The movement made your stomach tighten from both arousal and excitement, and you nodded at him before raising from the couch.
You followed him to the room and you felt your heart in your throat when he closed the door behind you two, and you realised you were finally alone with him. The room was small, with a couch on the left side and a large mirror in front of you, as well as a door on the right. His bass sat on the box next to the couch, with his clothes strewn on top of it. You turned around to look at him, and you realised how much taller he was than you, so you had to bend your head back to see him. His eyes, with their beauty, drew you in. Choso held a cigarette in front of you and lowered his head to the side, smirking. "Want a cigarette?" he murmured softly.
You sighed, attempting to relax as you nodded, chuckled softly, and took the cigarette from his palm. "Thank you," you muttered, and your breath hitched when Choso placed his cigarette to his lips before raising his lighter and holding it to yours. You took a drag from your cigarette and slowly blew the smoke out, mesmerised by the way he lit and drew from his.
You took a step back, having to put some space between you two, and looked around, the cigarette clasped between your fingers. "So we can smoke here?," you asked Choso, glancing at him before taking a seat on the sofa. He nodded and followed you, opening a nearby window and sitting close to you. If he was nervous like you, he didn't show it.
You noticed how close he sat next to you as he turned to gaze at you and the smoke from his lips lightly hit your face. "I'll make up an excuse," he said, smirking. You chuckled and shook your head, taking another drag from the cigarette before looking away. "I don't think it's fair that you know my name but I don't know yours," he said, a teasing tone in his voice. When you returned your gaze to him, you observed something else in his eyes, right above his nose tattoo: curiosity or... lust?
You smirked at his comments, running the cigarette filter across your lower lip and noting how Choso watched the movement. "Who said I know your name?," you questioned, lifting your brow in challenge before taking a drag. Choso's laugh was so deep you could feel it in your core. You couldn't help but assume that there was some tension between you two, which was getting you addicted.
"You don't?," he said, continuing with your joke and clicking his tongue in mock displeasure. He shrugged and said, "My apologies… My name is Choso." You chewed your lower lip silently as you watched him bring the cigarette to his lips and take a blow, and when he met your gaze, you murmured, "y/n".
He smiled at you and nodded before repeating your name, as if he was tasting how it sounded on his lips, “y/n… I really like that, it suits you,” he added. You chuckled and leaned back against the cushion, noticing how soon after Choso draped an arm behind the couch, just where your head was resting. Your breath hitched at the proximity between you two, and you felt your cheeks heat up when his thigh brushed against yours. You could feel his heat seeping through your clothes as if he was touching your bare skin, and in that moment, you found yourself wishing he really was caressing you that way. “Yeah? And how can you say that it suits me when you don’t even know me?,” you asked him, tilting your head to the side and blowing softly the smoke over his face.
He laughed again and shook his head, before playfully tugging your hair with the hand that was behind your head. You yelped before laughing, and tried to swat his hand away. “It just looks like it… it sounds like a fierce name,” he explained, taking a last drag from the cigarette before putting it out in the ashtray at the feet of the couch. “For a fiery person like you… who was about to run away from my bodyguard,” he continued, smiling and slightly tilting his head towards you.
You chuckled softly at his words and shrugged before putting out your cigarette, “wasn’t sure he was really inviting me because of you or because he wanted to harass me and my friend,” you answered him, raising your brows to him, waiting for him to answer back. He shook his head, letting out a breathy chuckle before raising his free hand up in the air, “fair point, guess it could’ve been easily misunderstood”.
You bit your bottom lip and glanced at him, your heart rate rising as he looked at you. The faint lights in the room reflected in his eyes, making them even more gorgeous. Your glance fell to his lips, and your thoughts returned to when he kissed you in front of everyone. In that instant, he was able to obliterate everything else with the simple touch of his lips on yours, and he appeared to have experience, so you wondered how things would be with him if you deepened them.
“Did you enjoy the kiss?,” he asked after a few moments, snapping you out of your trance. His gaze lingered on your lips with what looked like hunger in his eyes, before meeting yours. You nodded slightly and swallowed the lump in your throat. Was it you or the room was getting hotter? “Yeah… I did, even if it was a little bit unexpected,” you murmured, biting your bottom lip.
Choso watched the movement, and you could see his lips part before his Adam's apple moved and he returned your gaze. "Sorry about that, I couldn't hold myself back when you looked so beautiful in the middle of the audience," he stated, drawing closer to you till you could feel his breath gently hitting your lips, "It's like you were calling out for me to do that".
Your breath caught as he spoke; did he feel the tension in the room as well? Because you had to press your thighs together, your core becoming wetter as he hungrily looked at you. "So it's only fair that I repay the favor, no?" you muttered, looking up into his eyes, and when you saw your lust reflected in them, you leaned in and kissed him.
His lips tasted even better than before, and they felt like heaven against yours. You let out a soft hum before leaning even closer, and Choso pushed you towards him with his hand behind your shoulder, bringing you closer. His other hand sneaked over your thigh while his lips traced the seal of yours, asking for permission. When you opened your mouth, his tongue was quick to find yours and tasted like cigarettes and mint. You sighed softly as you laced a hand behind his neck, holding him tight while you explored his mouth as if it were your final act. The hand that was on your thigh quickly moved to your waist and your back, drawing you closer.
“Come here, baby,” he murmured against your lips, pulling back to let you both breathe while he guided you to straddle his lap. When you felt his muscular thighs under your core, you let out a soft whine and arched your back as Choso put his hands on your lower back, pushing you closer until your chest pressed against his. His lips instantly met yours in a devouring kiss, as your arms curled around his neck and your fingers played with his dark hair.
He slid a hand under your shirt, and hummed when he felt your soft skin under his touch, drawing little circles on the spot without going further. “Can I?,” he asked softly against your mouth, and when you nodded and arched your back against his hands, he groaned. “Yes, please,” you moaned just before he leaned down and attached his mouth to your neck, leaving wet kisses along the column of your throat. He slid both hands under your shirt, quickly pulling it over your head and throwing it in another spot in the room. "Oh, fuck, princess," he moaned, pulling back from your neck to glance down at your bra-clad breasts before cupping them with his hands. You whined and pleaded to him to go further. You could feel your pussy dripping into your panties, and you couldn't wait to feel Choso against you.
You lowered your hands to his chest and tugged on his t-shirt while looking at him, and when he nodded, you helped him in removing it. You licked your lips at the sight of his toned chest and stomach, tracing every muscle until you found his happy trail, which vanished beneath his pants. Your pussy throbbed at the sight, and you mewled before grinding your hips down on his thighs, causing him to smirk. He reached behind you and unclasped your bra, allowing it to fall down.
His breath faltered and you bit your lower lip when he reached to cup your breasts in his big hands and roll your nipples under his thumbs. “Such pretty tits, doll,” he murmured, before he tugged you closer and latched his mouth to your left nipple. “Need you, Cho,” you moaned at the feeling, pushing his head closer and threading your fingers through his hair. He swirled his tongue around your nipple while rubbing the other with his thumb and index finger, then reversed positions and placed his mouth on the other nipple.
You could feel his boner pushing right where you needed him, so you reached down with a hand and rubbed his shaft slowly over his pants. He groaned on your nipple, and you gazed down at him with a faint smirk, clenching around nothing as he looked up at you with hungry eyes, your nipple and his mouth connected by a line of saliva. "Let me take care of you first, baby," he said softly, changing your position so that your back was against the couch and he was kneeling between your legs.
He smirked at you when he noticed your flushed cheeks before beginning to unbutton your pants. He was fast to pull them away, leaving you only in your panties. You bit your bottom lip as you propped up on your elbows and stared at him, his attention fixated between your thighs. You were certain there was a damp area on them right above your hole.
He rubbed a thumb across your pussy lips and groaned when he felt your wetness seeping through the material, “fuck, baby… you’re so wet,” he murmured before rubbing circles just over your clit. You moaned and arched your back, trying to grind your hips against his hand. “Bet you got wet when you saw me on the stage, uh?,” he teased, letting out a breathless chuckle before looking at you. When you didn’t answer, he licked his lips and asked, “cat got your tongue, pretty girl? Tell me if this is okay for you, mh? Or I’ll stop”.
You shook your head at his words and pouted, “it’s okay, please… don’t stop,” you whined. He smirked at you, “good girl,” before he slowly tugged your panties down, and sweared under his breath at the sight of your bare glistening cunt. “Pretty face with a pretty pussy,” he said, leaning down and inhaling your scent with a groan. Before you could react, he sticked his tongue out and licked from your hole to your clit, where he stopped and left a kiss. “Oh, god… Choso, so good,” you whined, trying to grind your hips against his face even if he was holding you down with a hand. He smirked against your sensitive flesh and looked up at you, “yeah? You like this?,” he asked, and chuckled when he saw you nodding.
He went back to suck on your clit, before moving to your hole and sliding his tongue inside. You moaned at the feeling, and he reveled in the sound, pressing his tongue harder inside you and sucking all your juices in his mouth. Soon after, he added his calloused finger and rubbed your clit slowly before he switched his tongue and fingers, kissing your clit as he inserted a finger inside you, slowly pumping it inside of you. You threw your head back, mewling from the pleasure before you brought your hands to his hair, tugging his face closer to your cunt.
At the stimulation of another finger added inside you, you were fast to cum and clench around his finger. You moaned his name, and arched your back, your body stiffing as you ground your hips against his face. Choso stayed there until he felt the last waves of pleasure wear off, then he raised on top of you, smiling down at the sight of your glazed eyes. His mouth was glistening with your fluids as you placed your arms around his neck and leaned down, allowing you to taste yourself on his lips. You let out a whimper in his mouth before feeling his chest press against yours and bringing your hand down to scratch his toned back.
He groaned against your lips before he pulled back and rested his forehead against yours. “Let me make you feel good too,” feeling his breath against your lips, before moving your hand to clasp his cock over his pants. You noticed him closing his eyes and moaning, his hips involuntarily pressing against your hands. He shook his head and moved away from you, crouching between your legs and studying how your hand was rubbing him over his clothes, “don’t know how much I’m gonna last if you touch me,” he breathed, before he smirked and threaded a hand through his hair. “Then fuck me,” you said, his gaze darkening at your words before standing up from the couch and removing his pants. You propped yourself up on your elbows and gasped when you saw the size of him, before glancing between your legs wondering if it would fit.
“Don’t worry, baby, we will make it fit, mh?,” he told you, grinning as he placed himself back between your legs, and you saw his cock throb against his stomach as he observed you spread out on the couch, waiting for him. He positioned your legs over his thighs, and you brought your hand closer, wrapped it around his cock. Choso groaned at the feeling, looking down at how your fingers were stroking him so gently, a feeling so different from what he usually did to himself. “You like my cock, princess?,” he asked you, and you nodded humming, “yeah…”.
He let out a breathy chuckle and his cock throbbed in your hand before you guided him closer, “wait”. You looked up at him and Choso furrowed his brows, waiting for you to go on, “you have a condom?”. He loosed a breath and shook his head, biting his lower lip as he glance down at his cock between your legs and back up to meet your gaze. “I’ll make sure to come out,” he murmured, and you looked at his needy eyes then down at his throbbing cock under your hand, before nodding. He smiled at you and leaned down to peck your lips, before letting you guide his cock to your cunt.
Both your breath hitched when his tip brushed against your clit, and he felt your wetness against his bare length. “Fuck…” he moaned breathless and he wrapped a calloused hand around yours, guiding his cock to slap against your pussy lips before moving down to your hole. There, you removed your hand and moaned as he started to push inside, making you feel every inch of him. You felt your eyes get teary at his girth and you gripped his wrists, trying to hold yourself onto something. He glanced at you and started to rub your clit, “relax, princess,” he murmured, taking your hand and bringing it to his lips, kissing the back softly.
You started to breathe and relax, pain changing quickly into pleasure as you let your upper body fall back on the couch, moaning as he came to a hilt, his hips flushed against yours. “Baby, you’re so tight, you’re squeezing me,” he whined, biting his lower lip while he closed his eyes, trying to hold back from coming in that moment. After a few moments, he started to thrust inside of you, his pace increasing with the time after feeling your walls relaxing around him and taking him better.
He brought his hands to hold your hips while he filled you to the brim, his cock dragging against your walls perfectly, making you feel every inch of him. You looked up at him and moaned when you saw his fucked out face, looking down at you through half lidded eyes. He went faster, slamming within you with force and getting deeper as he went on. You reached up and pulled him down, connecting your lips in a sloppy kiss, moaning together in each other’s mouth.
“Turn around, pretty, let me take you from behind,” he said breathless against your lips, before pulling back and sliding out of you, guiding you to raise on your knees and hold to the couch, while Choso stood behind you. He caressed your asscheeks gently, “such a beautiful sight,” he said under his breath, before slapping a cheek and observing how the skin rippled under his touch. You gasped and arched your back, glancing back at him with needy eyes, “please, Cho”.
He smirked at your words, and held your hips tightly before guiding his cock back to your hole, “if you ask so nicely,” he answered, before thrusting back inside you with a single movement. You screamed at the feeling and arched your back, holding tightly on the couch while he set a punishing pace, filling you up and drilling inside you so hard that you could feel him to your stomach. Your head dropped down and you moaned, feeling yourself getting closer when his hand slipped under you and rubbed your clit. His cock throbbed inside of you when he felt your walls tightening around him, “I’m close, baby… fuck”. You gasped at his words and pulled your hips back, meeting his thrusts as he rubbed your clit harder, your eyes rolling back to your skull as your orgasm poured over you. Your body convulsed, and your walls drained his cock dry.
Choso remembered to pull back in the heat of the moment, swearing as he did so. He stroked his cock quickly, his gaze locked on your pussy and the gaping hole. He finished shortly after with a groan, spewing cum all over his palm and your ass. He groaned and embraced you as you collapsed on the couch before lying down next to you. You smiled at him as Choso wrapped his arms around you and kissed your forehead, then closed your eyes and leaned against him.
“So… can I have your number, y/n?”

HOW MANY DAYS HAS passed since you found yourself in this situation with him again? The passage of time eluded you, as you had stopped keeping track, but it seemed like you had been trapped in this place for months, perhaps even a year. It felt like an eternity since he orchestrated your fake ‘death’ and locked you up in his place.
You’re not weak by any means, in fact, you’re strong, as you were a grade one sorcerer, but when faced with Satoru, you were nothing. No matter how much effort you put into finding a way out or escaping him, it seemed futile.
He was the strongest after all.
Should you attempt to flee, say goodbye to your walking privilege as he would incapacitate you by breaking your legs with.
Any resistance or argument on your part would only result in more severe punishment and degradation at his hands.
You try to use your domain expansion and fight back? He’ll use his domain expansion too and it doesn’t end well on your part.
Even if you dared to confront him and try to reason with his twisted mind, you would find yourself outmaneuvered and manipulated.
Asking others for help was equally fruitless, because what can they do against the strongest sorcerer?
You tried to ask Shoko for help, but unfortunately, she is unable to intervene in the situation. However, she mentioned that there is a person who has the ability to control and Tame Satoru—Suguru. Sadly, the dilemma lies in the fact that Suguru is no longer alive, and it was Satoru Himself who killed Suguru.
Suguru was the only reason why you joined jujutsu high. You wanted to find Suguru’s body, since according to your sisters, Nanako and Mimiko, Suguru’s body wasn't cremated, so you joined jujutsu high to look for suguru’s body, and to also get some information, because vengeance is what you seek.
Gathering information about the school and the sorcerers there was made easier by your loud teacher—Satoru Gojo, who constantly yaps and shares details about literally anything.
Anything but Suguru.
Unfortunately for you though, Satoru ended up finding out that you’re a traitor.
And that’s the main reason why you’re stuck with him.
Tumblr media
Satoru’s fingers were lightly pressing against your throat, exerting gentle pressure that caused discomfort yet not crossing the threshold into pain. His touch was brand and it felt like a scorching imprint on your flesh. His fingertips grazed the delicate skin of your throat, tracing the rhythm of your racing pulse. His nose was nestled into the curve where your neck meets your shoulder, his breath hot and oppressive. Unconsciously, your fingers curled in response to his touch as you tried to distance yourself from him—yet, unable to tune him out.
You fought back the rising bile in your throat, swallowing hard to prevent it from rising and vomiting, your every muscle tense with discomfort.
You squirmed uneasily, unable to escape as his other hand pressed firmly against your tummy, immobilizing you while his grip on your neck intensified, forcing your spine to meld into his chest as you were practically ensnared on his lap. Your jaw clenched, your airway constricting involuntarily, making each breath a struggle.
“S’toru,” You whined in discomfort.
“Relax your throat, baby” he coaxed, loosening his hold slightly. With great effort, you tried to comply, swallowing down a torrent of curses and insults that threatened to escape.
“Don’t vomit on me... ‘m just trying to listen to your pulse, n’ see if you’re healthy or not.” He assured you, a honeyed lie.
But you’re not. You wanted to say.
You’re trying to choke me. You said mentally.
“Come on, relax, pretty girl.”
He drawled, his icy blue eyes narrowing as they pierced through you from beneath his pale lashes.
“No...” You murmured.
“Don’t worry about me.. I’m.. calm.” you feigned, though the erratic thumping of your heart against your ribcage betrayed your facade. His sharp ears likely caught the drumming tempo echoing through the hollow of your neck.
“But you’re not.” He said.
“Hmph. Such a pretty liar, are you? Don't gaslight yourself.” he admonished, a disapproving shake of his head punctuating his words. You ground your teeth in frustration.
“You’re the one gaslighting me here,” you countered, a futile attempt to deflect his observation. Deep down, you knew his accusation rang true—a self-imposed gaslight, for you were only convincing yourself of a false relaxation, when infact, you are beyond calm.
“Tsk, tsk. Liar.” his voice carried a weight of disappointment as his hand migrated from your neck to your jaw, the firm pinch of his forefinger and thumb steering your gaze towards his stare.
“Fine,” you huffed. Each breath felt like hot coals burning in your lungs, and your muscles tightened like steel cables. As you clenched your fists, the skin on your knuckles paled beneath the pressure, your nails digging crescents into your palms.
“I’m not calm,” you uttered stiffly, almost choking on the words as if they were bitter pills forced out of your mouth. Satoru cocked an eyebrow at your admission. His lips curled into a smirk, a condescending smile.
“I know, babe,” he murmured.
“Then why ask?” You asked sharply, [E/c] eyes narrowed.
“Why would you lie in the first place?” He asks back.
You fell into an uneasy silence, not knowing what to say.
“That’s what i thought.” Satoru scoffs.
You grimaced as his warm breath tickled your skin as he pressed a gentle kiss to your neck, his hand going underneath the fabric of your shirt. A shiver ran down your spine at the touch, a mix of revulsion and fear coiling within you as you fought the urge to swat his hand away.
You were keenly aware of the thin line you were threading, one wrong mood can cause Satoru to get mad. And satoru getting mad was far from the things that you would enjoy.
You don’t want to deal with a pissed satoru.
“Was that hard to admit?” Satoru asked suddenly.
You shook your head, the movement terse and strained, like a puppet pulled by invisible strings.
“Words, baby. Use your words,” he prompted.
“No... it’s not hard to admit,” you forced the words out through gritted teeth as he lets out a mocking laugh.
“Tsk, such a prideful princess,” he teased, his amusement palpable. You fixed your gaze on the ground, unable to meet his eyes, the weight of his hands on your body sending discomfort through your nerves. The struggle to maintain your composure, to resist the urge to push him away, felt like a battle
“But hey, you lied again, didn’t you? It was hard for you to admit that after all.” Satoru says, and you stiffened as you felt his gaze burning into you.
“What do you mean?” You feigned innocence.
“Don’t play dumb, pretty girl.” He glared at you.
That stupid cold stare of his never failed to make the hairs in your skin go up, and you hated it.
The adoring light that once danced in his gaze whenever he’s looking at you had been extinguished, replaced by a frigid darkness. His words and demeanor was now clashed with the vibrancy that once filled his eyes.
You hated it. You loathed it.
Loathed the way he looked at you in such a cold way, loathed the way he would always manipulate you, make you feel bad and blame you for everything.
This wasn’t the satoru that you had fallen for.
“you know, [Name]...When you lie,” he began, his thumb delicately tracing the lush curve of your lips. The urge to sink your teeth into his probing digit churned within you, an impulse that you struggled to suppress.
How did it go south so fast? He wasn’t like this before.
“Even if s’just a seemingly harmless little lie just like the one you just uttered,” he continued, exhaling a sigh heavy with disappointment.
“When you lie, it makes me remember how much of a traitor you are.”
With a sharp press, his thumb breached the barrier of your closed lips, barely grazing the tips of your teeth. A shiver ran down your spine at the invasion as he skillfully maneuvered his thumb into the warm recesses of your mouth, grazing against the tender foliate of your tongue.
“Traitors, don’t deserve mercy y’know?” He mused.
Gritting your teeth, you bit down on the inside of your cheek to suppress the snarl that threatened to escape.
“But lucky for you, i love you, so I’ll be showin’ you mercy.”
“Love?” You repeated incredulously, your words muffled.
He claims to love you, despite the vile deeds he's committed? The audacity of those words sends a surge of rage coursing through your veins. You make a desperate move to chomp down on his finger, but limitless stopped you.
The moment you does so, Satoru laughs.
“See? You Fuckin’ traitor.” He snorts.
“Can’t even trust you for a second, can I?” he drawls, and your insides twist with guilt and terror when you realize what you almost did.
Shit. You messed up.
“Thought that you’re a good girl by now but looks like you’re still on your rebellious phase, hm?” He taunts.
“I didn’t meant to—” You tried to defend yourself but he interrupted you.
“I’m speaking.” He said firmly, and you shifts, hand twitching.
“But i—”
“I said i’m speaking.” His voice now rose making you flinch.
“If I turn limitless off, you’d take a bite outta me, ‘m sure of that.” he said, shaking his head as he withdraws his now moistened finger from your trembling lips, tainted with your own saliva.
He was right, but you’re not gonna admit that. If he has limitless turned off, you’ll smash his head on the wall.
“I didn’t mean to..” You said, swallowing thickly. But you did meant to do that though.
Satoru rolled his eyes.
“When will you stop lying?”
“Never thought that suguru would raise such a brat, a traitor one and a liar, at that.”
He says wearily, rubbing his temples in exasperation.
“Gosh, such a careless father, letting his poor daughter go.. but hey, i can’t blame him now, can i?” He hums, stroking his chin.
“I mean... He’s the reason why i met my sweet little [Name] after all.”
The mere mention of suguru being careless made the fragile tether of your composure snap.
Suguru was not careless.
You hated it when people talk shit about Suguru.
Your eyes widened with furious intensity, your blood coursing hot with rage as a vein visibly throbbed on your forehead. Anger constricted your throat, making it difficult to even breathe. In a moment of pure instinct, you crossed your fingers together, ready to use your domain expansion.
CRACK!
However, before you could fully comprehend what was happening, he snapped your fingers, twisting it, sending a jolt of pain throughout your body.
“What did i tell you about trying to use your domain expansion again?” His questioning gaze intensified as he firmly grasped your fingers, causing your eyes to widen in shock.
Then another came.
CRACK!
Then a ripping sound echoed through your ears.
You felt a sharp pain as blood started to trickle down from where he had inflicted wounds on your fingers. Your heart sank as you heard the sound of your severed fingers hitting the ground.
A scream was about to escape from your lips until he silenced you with a forceful kiss. His teeth clashed against yours as he firmly gripped your hip, effortlessly flipping you over and pinning you down.
As he broke away from the kiss, a thin trail of saliva lingered between your mouths, and you felt like you're going to vomit.
“That’s the third time that you’re trying to use your domain expansion on me,” he snarls, seizing both of your wrists with one hand and securing them above your head while straddling you.
“Haah.. ‘ve forgiven you for the other two times, but it’s getting annoying now. Try to use it once again and I’ll cut both of your hands off, okay?”
“There, there, don’t cry. It’s your own fault anyways.” Satoru comforts you as if he hadn’t just cut your fingers off. He gently licks the tears from your cheeks, savoring them as if they were sweet syrup, causing you to continue sobbing.
“Maybe if you weren’t so feisty and disobedient this wouldn’t happen... Suguru seriously forgot to teach you some manners, didn’t he?”
Shaking his head in disappointment, he lifts your hand to his lips and kisses it, displaying a strange mix of affection and detachment despite the gruesome act he just committed.
Looking down at you, Satoru grins, his eyelashes fluttering shut like those of an angel, looking peaceful.
Looking so innocent despite doing gruesome things.
Just like the Devil In Disguise .

Children screamed and ran through the pizzeria, high off of cheap sugary candy and excitement. Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place had become the go-to place for children's birthday parties and cheap pizza. Food, arcade games, prizes, and of course, the animatronics: it was a kid's dream. Everyone had their favourite member of the Faz-gang. There was Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie the Bunny, Chica the Chicken and Foxy the Pirate. On special occasions, another character would come out. A golden bunny. He was different from the other characters. He was controlled by a person. Someone inside the suit would walk around and entertain the kids when the main gang weren't on. He gave you the creeps. There was just something off about him that you couldn't describe. One of the employees had told you that the bunny was from a different location, and was meant to be part of a duo with a golden bear. You didn't really care for the other animatronics but you tried to stay away from the golden rabbit.
Tucked away in the corner of the main room, you sat at an abandoned table and drew away. Freddy's was your unwanted second home. Your parents worked. A lot. There was little time for them to look after you, and though they could afford to pay a babysitter, they chose to dump you at the pizzeria. Weekends and school holidays, you were there from open to close. More often that not, they forgot to pick you up too, too invested in their work to care about their own child. You couldn't escape the neglect at home, you parents would leave you to your own devices, continuing to work from home. It had taught you to become independent. You knew how to cook, clean and take care of yourself. It wasn't like you had any other choice.
You stared down at the page. The cheap waxy crayons Freddy's provided strewn across the table. Drawing had become your escape. As soon as the colours hit the page, everything else melted away. The sounds of screaming kids, pinball machines and singing animatronics became background noise. It helped you pass the time. Being at Freddy's from 9am to 9pm multiple days a week gets boring quickly. You had managed to get the high score on every arcade game, collected almost every prize available at the counter and tried every pizza flavour. You just wanted to go home.
At least the staff were lovely. Everybody knew you by name, always stopping by to make sure you were doing okay. They sometimes snuck you free ice cream too. You couldn't complain bout that. Seeing you here by yourself so often made them feel horrible. Many of the parents would stare and whisper. What kind of parent leaves there child here? You tried your best to ignore them. On days when your parents would forget to pick you up, someone would stay well past their shift to make sure you get picked up safely, letting you wait inside to avoid the cold weather.
"It's showtime, boys and girls!" a loud voice boomer over the intercom. "Come join Freddy and the gang for their latest song!"
Immediately, a tsunami of children flooded towards the show stage, jumping up and down excitedly as they waited for their favourite animatronics to appear. You didn't look up from your drawing. Colourful strobe lights painted the room as the rhythm of a pop sing started to play, the animatronics mechanically lip-syncing along. The chair across from you was pulled back and you heard the thud of someone sitting down. You peered up slightly from your drawing. Across from you was a girl about your age. Her long, golden blonde hair tied up in cute pig tails, adorned with colourful ribbons. She started at you, bright blue eyes filled with curiosity.
"Do you always sit by yourself?" she asked, you gave her a slow now, not putting down the crayons. The girl shuffled her chair over so she was next to you. "Woah!" she gasped, staring at your drawing. "You're really good!"
You shyly smiled, "Thank you."
"I'm Susan, but everyone calls me Suzie." Suzie offered her hand out for a handshake. After a moment of hesitation, you took it and introduced yourself.
You and Suzie quickly became friends. She came in every Saturday with her family for lunch. You learnt her favourite animatronic was Chica. She would carry around a plush of Carl the Cupcake and wore a shirt that said 'Let's Eat!'. The two of you would draw east pizza and draw together, sticking up your artworks on the wall which were adorned with hundreds of other drawings. Suzie would always insist yours were the best. She made your time at the pizzeria more bearable. You actually looked forward to Saturdays were you would get to see her. Her family was sympathetic towards your situation. In a way, you were jealous of them. All you wanted was a normal family. Parents who actually wanted to spend time with you. They always offered you a ride home, but you couldn't accept. 'My parents will be here soon,' you'd always insist. They were reluctant to leave you, but there was always and employee who's wait and keep you safe. You didn't want to burden them.
One Saturday, Suzie wanted to go watch the show. Chica was going to be performing a Cyndi Lauper song, two of Suzie's favourite things. You decided you would keep drawing then once the show was done, you'd go play arcade games together. The show ended, but Suzie didn't come back. You waited for a few minutes, she had probably just gone to the bathroom. But after fifteen minutes had gone by and Suzie hadn't returned, you started to get worried. Packing up your crayons, you began your search of the pizzeria. You went through every room twice, even checking the bathrooms. Nervously, you decided to approach her parents.
"Hi sweetheart," Suzie's mum greeted you, a kind smile painted on her lips. When she saw the worried look on your face, her face fell to one of concern. "What's wrong?"
"I can't find Suzie."
The next few weeks at the pizzeria were quiet. Cops came and went, searching the pizzeria top to bottom to see if they couldn't find clues to Suzie's disappearance. Her face was plastered all over the news: Young girl goes missing at local pizzeria. Slowly, the investigation slowed as nothing was being uncovered. You didn't want to go back to Freddy's. Your parents would drop you off, kicking and screaming until you had finally had enough. They dropped parents not to take you there. You plea fell on deaf ears.
You stood up, dusting dirt off of your jeans to begin the journey home. You turned around, taking one last look at the sign, Freddy waving with a big grin, illuminated by cheap neon lights. The walk home was long. You kicked rocks along the path, scuffing your shoes in the process, holding onto the straps of your backpack. A faded missing persons poster was taped to a light post. Suzie's familiar face stared at you ,a bright smile adored as if she wasn't missing. You felt your bottom lip tremble, running the rest of the way home.
When you got home, you were out of breath, taking a minute to sit on the porch steps and breathe. You tried to door but it was locked. Somewhere in the garden your parents kept a spare key. For the next half an hour, you searched the plants, turning over rocks and faded gnome statues until you found it. The house was empty. It would still be hours until your parents came home. You didn't care if they would be mad. You refused to go back to the pizzeria.
It was almost 10pm when your parents came home. You were half asleep, laying down on the couch as the TV played quietly in the background. "Why weren't you at Freddy's?" your father asked nonchalantly. He was tired from work, loosening his tie as he entered the living room.
You sat up angrily. "I'm not going back there. Suzie went missing there, you know. I'm not going back!"
Your father groaned, rubbing his forehead. "Whatever, I'm not dealing with you right now. Just stay at home." He walked upstairs, leaving you alone.
You slowly wandered up the stairs to your apartment, lugging bags of groceries up with you. Your arms burnt as the heavy bags gave you a workout. Fumbling with the keys, you managed to make your way inside. As soon as you stepped in, you were greeted by a bundle of letters in the hallway, having been pushed through the rust mail slot in the door. You sighed as you put your groceries away. The fridge was bare aside from a few half-empty condiment bottles. You scooped up the letters and flopped down on the couch, opening them up one by one.
Electricity. Overdue. Gas. Overdue.
The last one made your stomach drop.
Rent. Overdue. Final notice.
Angrily, you threw the bills onto the coffee table. You had until the end of the month to pay this month, plus the back rent or you'd be on the streets. After the events at Freddy's last night, you were planning on calling Steve today to quit but it didn't seem like that was an option now. Even if you took another job during the day, with minimum wage you would never be able to pay it all off. You rubbed your temples, trying to fight of the headache you felt brewing. There wasn't anyone else you could stay with either. Your relationship with your parents was non-existent. The second you turned 18, you left like a bat out of hell. You decided to take a nap before your shift, curling up on the couch, trying to ignore your impending doom.
"Abby, give me my vest." Abby, with Mike's oversized security vest hanging off her shoulders, stood firm. "I'm serious," Mike stated. "Give me the vest."
"No!" Abby protested. "I don't want to stay with Aunt Jane. She smells like cigarettes," she whispered.
Max had gone MIA. She didn't answer any of Mike's calls. He even tried calling her brother but it went straight to voicemail. As a last resort, he called Aunt Jane. Of course, she jumped on any opportunity to make Mike look bad. Oh, you can't take care of Abby? I'm not surprised, I guess I'll gave to do it. Mike grabbed Abby, throwing her over his shoulder. She squealed, banging on Mike's back. After a struggle, Mike managed to steal the vest off of her.
"She's all yours," Mike huffed, grabbing his backpack and heading out the door.
Dread filled his body as he drove to Freddy's. Every cell in his body was telling him to turn around, to call Steve and quit, but Mike powered forward. He needed this job to prove to the court that he was a fit guardian for Abby. If that meant putting himself at risk at a haunted pizzeria, he'd do it. There's nothing he wouldn't do to keep Abby safe. Mike was surprised to see your car when he pulled into the parking lot. He was almost certain you would have quit. You had already opened the pizzeria and were set up in the security office.
The sound of the door opening startled you. "I'm surprised to see you back here," Mike says, putting his backpack into the locker.
"I could say the same for you." Mike wedged the chair under the door, tugging on the handle to make sure it was secure. "Trust me, if I could quit, I would," you said with a sardonic chuckle.
The two of you had an unspoken agreement that you wouldn't be leaving the security office tonight. While the whole pizzeria was a death trap, the security office was the safest room. Mike noted as you anxiously bit your lip. You both sat in silence, eyes glued to the monitors and listening intently for any noises. Mike yawned, almost nodding off as he tried to keep focus on the monitors. He rubbed his eyes tiredly and you noticed his usual undereye bags were even darker than usual.
"You can sleep, y'know," you offered.
Mike immediately shook his head. "No, I don't want you be alone."
"I'll be fine, Mike," you promised. "You really look like you need the sleep. I'll be okay for a couple of hours."
Mike looked between you and the monitors before reluctantly agreeing. He grabbed his cassette player out of his backpack and put his headphones on. You couldn't help the small smirk which formed on your lips. Mike gave your chair a playful kick before settling into his own. You kept a close watch on the monitors, letting Mike get some rest. Your mind couldn't help but wander back to your many bills. Your stomach churned with anxiety. Unable to focus, you decided to properly explore the office. Despite working here for almost three weeks now, you never bothered to properly look through the office. You poured over the shelves, mostly filled with old paperwork and memorabilia. As you checked through the lockers, a bright orange container fell out. Curiously, you picked it up. 'Michael Schmidt,' the label read. 'Triazolam. Take 1-2 before bed.' Sleeping tablets. You glanced over at Mike before carefully putting the bottle back into his backpack. Feeling like you had overstepped a boundary, you quickly took your seat and went back to watching the monitors.
"Garrett!" Mike called out, watching in despair as the navy blue car skidded away. The sound of a twig snapping behind him caught Mike's attention. To his surprise, five young children were standing behind him. The blonde boy stood in front of the rest, staring Mike dead in the eyes.
"What is this?" Who are you?" Mike asked with confusion, looking across the group. T he children didn't move, staring at him in silence. "That car. Did you see who drove that car?" Did you see who took my brother?"
In an instant, the children scattered, running in different directions. This dream was different. They were never different. Every night he would relive the memory of Garrett being taken, but something was wrong this time. Mike began to chase after the blonde boy, following him deeper into the pine forest. Just as he was about to catch up, his foot got caught on a rock, sending him tumbling to the hard dirt below.
"Shit! Are you alright?" you asked, leaning down by Mike's side. He was fast asleep, then the next thing you knew, he had flown out of his chair onto the floor. Mike groaned, rubbing the back of his head as he slowly sat up. He looked around your office, your concerned gaze focused on his face.
"I'm fine," Mike assured. "How long was I asleep for?"
You helped him stand up. "A couple of hours. It's almost six. Did you have a bad dream or something?"
Mike sat back down into his chair with a huff. "Something like that. It happens a lot though. I'm used to it."
Your eyes flickered over to the locker, then back at Mike. You noticed his forehead was bleeding. "You've hit your head. I'll grab the first-aid kit. Are you sure you're feeling okay?" Luckily the first-aid kit was kept in the office so you wouldn't have to venture out. Even though nothing strange had happened tonight, you were still on edge. Kit in hand, you scooted your chair closer to Mike. You pushed his hair out of the way, gently cleaning the wound. It wasn't very deep, just a small cut.
"I'm fine." Mike winced slightly as you cleaned the wound. "Y'know how I have that book on dream theory?" you nodded. "Well, I use it to relive a memory of my brother. When I was younger, he got taken. No one ever found him or who did it."
"I'm sorry," you apologised. Your last day with Suzie came to mind. It had been so long since you thought about her. "So, you're trying to remember if you saw his face?"
Mike nodded. "Not having much luck though."
You finished cleaning his cut and gently placed a bandaid on top. Of course, the only bandaids in the supply box were Freddy Fazbear themed, not that Mike knew that. You tried to hide your smile as you stuck the Foxy bandage to his forehead, letting his hair fall back into place. "All better now."
The alarm on Mike's watched sounded, signalling the end of your shift. You shivered as you stepped out into the cold morning air, locking the rusty metal gates behind you. You decided to sit in your car and watch the sun rise, giving Mike a wave as he drove off. You looked at the Freddy's sign through the rear-view mirror and felt a pang of guilt hit your chest. You knew what it was like to lose someone dear to you. You thought about Suzie and the other kids who went missing. It was unfair that they were taken away. Their families deserved closure. You wanted closure. You started your car and began the drive home in silence.

The moon hung high in the clear night sky, the bright beam reflecting onto the peaceful waters below. The view of the dark horizon was tranquil and the complete opposite of the pandemonium that was taking place just a few feet behind you.
Singing, hollers of celebration, and the clanking of stein glasses became mere background noise as you gazed at the midnight sky above. The myriad of stars dotting the heavens were almost like fireflies in the forest, giving some light to the otherwise dark sky.
Hongjoong's crew was celebrating another successful day of pillaging—it was exhausting. You'd become rather numb to these so-called celebrations. It's just a bunch of men acting like drunken fools to you.
The crew belted out sea shanties in their intoxicated states, the sour notes coming out slurred and garbled. You cringed. You didn't know how much more of this you could take.
The sound of heavy boots stumbling towards you caught your attention. An arm was slung haphazardly over your shoulder, the force making you jerk forward a bit.
"Y/n." Hongjoong slurred slightly, his breath smelling of rum. "What are you doing all the way over here?"
"Watching the moon." You answered.
"Come join us. You're missing out."
"No thank you."
He frowned. "What's wrong?"
"I just don't care for celebrations."
"But you've always enjoyed our celebrations."
"Yeah, but it's becoming a bit... how do I put this? Lackluster."
Hongjoong scoffed. "Lackluster?"
"Yeah. I just don't enjoy it much anymore."
"Let me change your mind."
You glanced over to see Hongjoong's hand extended towards you, his many gold rings glimmering under the lit torches.
You started to deny him, but stopped, pressing your lips together in thought.
"C'mon." That all too familiar charming smirk of his spread across his soft-looking lips. "You wouldn't refuse a dance with me, would you?"
"I might." You teased, a playful grin threatening to break out onto your features.
He made a face at you in return.
"Alright." You caved, clasping his extended hand. "I'll dance with you."
"I knew you couldn't resist." He simpered, leading you towards the middle of the main deck.
The drunken singing of the crew was much louder now that you were right in the middle of it. Hongjoong's cheeks were stained pink from the alcohol, no doubt, as he grinned brightly, taking your other hand. The two of you began spinning and skipping to the stomp of the crew's boots against the wooden boards of the ship. Neither of you ever really learned how to properly dance, but when you're a pirate, that doesn't matter much.
As you bounded in circles, you found yourself enjoying it more and more. The two of you danced in no particular rhythm, stomping your feet and bouncing around like fools. Your hands stayed clasped together as you swung them around, your joint laughter filling the air.
Once the chanting and off-key singing of the crew died down, you and Hongjoong ceased your dancing.
"See? That was fun, wasn't it?" He grinned.
"It was." You agreed, fixing the errant strands of his scruffy mullet.
"You always enjoy dancing with me."
"I do." You admitted.
"C'mon. Have something to drink." He pulled you towards one of the barrels set up and took it upon himself to fill up a stein.
He handed it to you with a smile. You reluctantly took it, taking a sip of the dark liquid.
"Next time we dock, I'll try and get some nice wine. How about that?" Hongjoong suggested.
"That would be wonderful. I'm starting to tire of rum."
"Hey, if you won't drink it, I will." Hongjoong reached out to grab the glass from you.
"Wait." You pulled it away. "Are you sure you should have any more?"
"Of course! You can never have enough alcohol."
"How many of these have you had?" You questioned, referring to the large stein in your hand.
"Three."
You pressed your lips together, hesitant to hand over the drink. Then again, Hongjoong is as stubborn as a mule. If you don't give it to him, he'll just make himself another glass.
"Very well, then." You gave in, handing over the glass.
"Thanks, lovely." He winked, taking the beverage from you.
You watched as he sauntered off, joining his crew to clink steins with them. One of the crew members began singing yet another drunken shanty, causing everyone to start dancing again. Hongjoong held his wooden stein up in the air, alcohol sloshing onto the deck as his crew cheered him on.
"Say my name!" He shouted.
"Captain Hongjoong! Captain Hongjoong! Captain Hongjoong!" They chanted, fueling his ego.
You could tell he loved that. He loved being the captain. It was his dream, after all.
A yawn spilled from your lips, catching you off guard. You hadn't realized how tired you were.
You stepped away from the railing of the ship and began to head towards the captain's cabin to turn in for the night.
You and Hongjoong shared a room, exactly the way he wanted. You were the only female on the ship and Hongjoong's dearest friend, as well as his right hand woman, so he wanted to make sure you stayed close, which is why you got the best room on the ship.
On the way to your shared room, you noticed someone sitting on the steps leading to the quarterdeck. He was hunched over, a head of soft, brown hair resting on the top of his knees. You were curious as to who was crouched on the steps alone. You had been on the ship for years and were familiar with every crew member, but you weren't sure who this was.
"Excuse me. Are you okay?" You asked, approaching the male.
He lifted his head, large, brown eyes looking up at you.
"Oh, Minho." You smiled, warmly. "I thought you'd be over there with everyone else." You spoke, gesturing to the celebration taking place a few feet behind you.
"No." He shook his head. "I'm not one for celebrations. They've become too hectic for me. To be honest, I thought you'd be over there. You're always with Hongjoong."
"Yeah, well, I've had my fill of celebrations for the night." You told him. "Hongjoong is on his own tonight. I've decided to turn in for the night."
"Well, I don't want to keep you out here. Sleep tight." He smiled.
"Thanks, Minho."
You stepped into your room, closing the door behind you.
Hongjoong's bed was unmade, as usual and his desk was an absolute mess. He was never one to clean up after himself. Apparently, he "has other things to worry about." You let out a sigh as you walked over to his desk where papers and books were scattered over the surface. The entire tabletop was in disarray. As much as you wanted to clean it up, you knew everything was more than likely left in place for a reason. So, you did the least you could possibly do, which was throw away any wadded pieces of paper as well as collect all of the pens and pencils scattered across the desk, placing them all into a cup.
You told yourself you'd stop and go to bed after that, but you didn't. You ended up stacking all the papers strewn across Hongjoong's desk, putting them in one, neat pile. Upon doing so, you discovered a large map spread across the tabletop. Your head tilted to the side when you noticed a red dot on the map. Normally, a red dot indicated that the town was going to be raided for supplies. You tried to read the name of the town, unable
to see well in the dimply lit room. Your eyes squinted as you leaned towards the map, until you heard a commotion just outside the cabin, which caused you to scurry away from Hongjoong's desk.
You made yourself busy, pulling back the covers on your bed, only to find that it was just a false alarm. The noises you heard were merely drunken crew mates making a ruckus.
You glanced back towards Hongjoong's desk sitting on the other side of the room, tempted to go back and look at the map, but you decided against it, choosing to get ready for bed.
You turned the knob on the oil lamp, dimming the light so you'd be able to rest. You wanted Hongjoong to be able to see when he finally came to bed, so you didn't put it out all the way.
As you laid in bed, your mind began to drift towards the map, your curiosity getting the best of you. Your head lifted from the pillow, your eyes staring across the room at Hongjoong's desk. Then, without thinking you flung the covers off of you and grabbed the oil lamp, moving across the room to the map spread on the table.
The dim glow of the low-burning flame illuminated the chart enough to where you could finally read the name of the town. You blinked a few times, getting a second look at it, wondering if you misread it.
"That can't be right." You murmured.
Worried about getting caught, you scurried back to bed and attempted to go to sleep. Instead of worrying about what you saw on that map, you just chose to confront Hongjoong about it the next day.
The sea breeze blew through your hair as you stood by Hongjoong's side on the forecastle deck.
"There's a town close by that we're going to pillage." He informed you as he steered the gigantic vessel.
"Was that the town you had marked in red on your map?"
"How did you know that?"
"I saw it on your desk last night. That town isn't a bad town. There's good people living there. Why would you plan to pillage it?"
"We need supplies. Plus, they're nearby."
"That's your reasoning?" You questioned.
"Yeah."
"Hongjoong, that town is well known for giving things to those in need. You should find another town to get supplies from."
"If that's true, then looting the town should be easy." He shrugged.
You were appalled, unable to believe what he just said.
"It makes more sense to go there because it's closer. We don't have enough supplies to last long enough to make it to the next town."
"Then ration our provisions."
"I can't do that."
"Yes you can. I'm not asking for much. Ration until we reach the next town."
You could tell Hongjoong was getting agitated, but you wouldn't have him pillage a town that didn't deserve it.
"What I say goes, and I say we're raiding that town."
"I want you to wait and raid another town."
"Well, you're not the captain, are you, Y/n?"
"No, but I am your friend." You responded, harshly, stepping forward to grab the wheel.
"Hey!" Hongjoong shouted. "What are you doing?"
"Steering us away from that town."
You began to fight with him, the wheel being pulled back and forth like a tug of war.
"Why don't you listen to me?" You asked.
"I'm the captain!" He snapped. "Not you!"
Hongjoong shoved you away, causing you to stumble back and fall onto the deck. A hiss left you as pain shot up your hip and elbow. You thought maybe your friend would feel some sort of remorse, but he only stared down at you, looking only mildly surprised at his actions.
You clenched your jaw and pushed yourself up off the deck, knowing you lost this fight.
"Forget it. I'm tired of this."
You stormed off the forecastle deck, getting as far away from Hongjoong as you could. You were absolutely fuming, wanting to unleash the burning anger inside. Hongjoong only raids towns that steal from the poor. Never has he even considered looting a town so generous—until now, apparently.
The way he simply brushed off the fact that he was about to pillage a small town that didn't deserve it made your blood boil. Truthfully, you don't think he understands the weight of his actions. He'll leave that town with hardly anything. They won't have anything left.
The sound of boots hitting the deck pulled your from your thoughts. Turning your head, you spotted Minho approaching you.
"You alright?" He asked.
Your lips pressed together as you briefly contemplated lying to him.
"No."
"I heard a commotion on the forecastle deck and wanted to check on you. I assume you and Captain got in a fight?"
"It's the first fight we've ever had. He wants to raid a town because it's nearby. I tired to talk him out of it because the town provides for others."
"That doesn't seem right." Minho responded.
"It's not. I tried to make him change his mind, but he just kept saying we don't have enough supplies and we have to dock there. I suggested rationing what we have and he completely shot down the idea."
Minho frowned in distaste. "Why is it so difficult to ration?"
"I don't know." You sighed, shaking your head. "He's never acted like this before. I don't know what's happening to him."
"I'm sorry he's being such a jerk."
"Me too. Sorry for dumping all of this onto you. I should have just lied and said I was okay."
"No." Minho shook his head. "I'm glad you were honest. It's not good to bottle things up. If you ever need to talk, I'm here. Okay?"
You nodded, giving him a weak smile.
The day went on and you tried your hardest to keep your distance, avoiding Hongjoong by any and all means. Much your dismay, Hongjoong had announced to the crew his plans of looting the poor town. You were set to dock in just a couple days.
When night settled over the sky, you began making your way towards the captain's quarters, only to stop in your tracks. Did you even want to sleep in the same room as Hongjoong?
You turned on your heel, redirecting your route to the crew's sleeping quarters, heading directly to one room in particular.
Your knuckles knocked lightly on the bedroom door, waiting for an answer. It creaked open just a few seconds later.
"Oh, Y/n. What are you doing here? Is everything alright?" Minho asked.
"Yeah. This might sound like a weird question, but is it alright if I stay with you tonight?"
His large eyes widened in surprise.
"Hongjoong and I aren't on good terms at the moment, which you already know, and I don't really want to share a room with him now."
"I understand." He nodded, stepping aside. "Come on in."
You volunteered to sleep on the floor, but Minho wouldn't allow it, offering you his bed. So, that's where you slept.
The ocean was rather choppy today, much like the situation you were currently in. The white-capped waves dominated the majority of the waters' surface, the ship lurching with each forceful push of the sea below, sending a spray of salt water up the side of the vessel.
"Alright men, all hands on deck!" Hongjoong instructed. "There's a storm coming in from the north."
"Yes, Captain." The crew responded.
You wanted to ask Hongjoong if he needed your help with anything, but the two of you were not on speaking terms at the moment, so you held your tongue.
"Man the sails!" Hongjoong shouted more commands, sternly.
He's absolutely deserving of being captain. Despite his small stature, he carried a very powerful and commanding presence, his aura almost threatening at times. However, at the end of the day, he was still the sweet Hongjoong you grew up with—well, up until recently. You said you would follow him to the ends of the earth. He was your best friend, after all. Now, you're not sure who he is.
Years ago, when the two of you had just recently turned 18, Hongjoong had this grand idea to escape.
"We're gonna get out of here." He told you.
"And go where?" You inquired.
"Anywhere. Everywhere." He answered, his eyes twinkling. "Sail the seas."
"You want to be a pirate?" You questioned.
"Yes! It would be so much fun. No rules, no nothing." He turned to you with a smile. "Will you join me?"
The excited gleam in his eye let you know how serious he was about this unattainable dream. Despite that, the idea of sailing the seas and living a rule-free pirate life thrilled you.
"Yes."
Look where that got you.
A loud boom of thunder rumbled in the ominous sky above, dark, menacing clouds swirled over the ocean. You stepped away from the railing, watching as the crew scurried across the deck, preparing for the storm brewing in the atmosphere.
Hongjoong was busying himself by barking orders at crew mates, rushing them along. He was unusually snappy today, no doubt because of your little fight yesterday.
"What are you doing?" He shouted, angrily. "Furl the mainsail! The storm is approaching!"
Truthfully, you were surprised he hadn't said anything to you about not sleeping in your own bed last night. Then again, maybe he didn't care.
A raindrop hit the top of your head, catching your attention. It didn't take long for the stray drops to turn into a torrential downpour. The rain came down in sheets, pounding on the deck, making puddles almost instantly.
You noticed Minho struggling with one of the masts, hurrying over to assist him.
"Thanks." He breathed.
A gust of wind blew by, whipping your hair in every direction.
"We should get inside!" Minho yelled over the howling winds.
You nodded in agreement as his hand found yours, leading you towards the crew's sleeping quarters to get out of the harsh winds and piercing rain.
Little did you know, Hongjoong was watching, his sharp eyes trained on yours and Minho's intertwined hands.
The ship made it out of the storm unscathed and went on its way to the small, unsuspecting town. Part of you had hoped the storm would somehow get the ship off-route and Hongjoong would be forced to ration supplies and hold off on the raid until you made it to the next town.
The pillaging went on as planned. Like all raids, the looting took place at night. Hongjoong always said it was better to do these things under the cover of darkness.
You stayed on the ship, of course, unable to join in on the raiding. Your conscience wouldn't let you. To your surprise, Minho stayed behind too. Like you, he couldn't bear to be a part of the merciless thievery that was taking place.
It didn't take long for the two of you to hear multiple pairs of booted feet thudding hurriedly against the main deck, followed by the sounds of heavy objects being set down. Your heart sank, knowing the raid was over and the town was left without many of their supplies. For the first time since stepping foot on this ship, you felt sick.
It didn't take long for the music and rhythmic stomping of feet to begin, letting you know the celebrations had already kicked off.
Minho's top lip curled in distaste as he stared in the direction of the main deck.
"I can't sit here and let them celebrate this heinous act." You muttered, pushing yourself to your feet.
You stormed up onto the main deck where Hongjoong was standing up on a cluster of crates, barrels, and burlap sacks dancing and celebrating.
"So you ended up raiding that town?" You inquired with crossed arms.
"Of course I did." He responded before turning to the crew. "And it was a raging success!"
The crew cheered with him, which only fueled your anger.
"I wouldn't call it a raging success if you're stealing from people who do good."
"It's not like we killed anyone." He rolled his eyes.
"No, but you left that town to suffer. The attack was unprovoked."
"Don't get your trousers in a wad, Y/n. We're pirates. We pillage and plunder, it's what we do." Hongjoong responded casually.
Your fists unconsciously clenched as you tried your hardest to bite back rage. Instead of opening your mouth and allowing your scathing words to escape, you whirled around and returned to Minho's room.
The door slammed shut behind you as the brown-haired male lifted his gaze, waiting for you to speak.
"Minho, can you keep a secret?"
In the dead of night while everyone was asleep and/or passed out from alcohol consumption, you snuck out onto the main deck with a small bag of your belongings, heading for the rowboat. You planned to escape the godforsaken ship that once felt like home. Minho, who knew about your plan of action, promised not to breathe a word of your whereabouts. He even offered to assist you.
Said pirate followed you outside and helped lower you into the water once you were inside the boat.
"Are you sure you wanna do this?" He questioned.
"I'm sure. Being captain has gotten to Hongjoong's head and after that little stunt he pulled earlier tonight, I can no longer stand by his side."
Minho nodded, somberly. "I understand. Good luck."
"Thank you."
The boat was lowered the rest of the way into the water and you began making your way towards the town. Equipped with just the necessities, you started your journey, using just a compass and a messy, hand-drawn copy of Hongjoong's map.
You didn't feel the slightest bit of remorse as you rowed further from the ship, watching as it got smaller and smaller. You didn't really care if Hongjoong knew you left. He made it very clear that he was the captain and what he says goes. It was painfully evident that he didn't need you anymore; if anything, you were doing him a favor. On the off chance that he did freak out in wake of your disappearance, you'd never know, nor would you care.
"Serves him right." You muttered.
To your surprise, it only took you the entirety of the night to arrive at the marauded town. Your arms were throbbing and you were in need of sleep, but were happy to have arrived at your destination. You used an old rope to tie your row boat to the dock before stepping out onto the landing.
The first thing you noticed about your surroundings was the stacks of crates and barrels that had been emptied and toppled over. The remnants of last night's pillaging was obvious and heartbreaking. You slowly made your way off the dock and into the town where you were met with more wreckage—it was horrible. The more you saw, the angrier you became, wanting nothing more than to curse Hongjoong up one side and down the other. Being on a pirate ship for so long, you managed to learn some insults you didn't even know existed and you wanted to use every single one on Kim Hongjoong.
People were trying to clean up the aftermath of the pillaging from the previous night, doing their best to put the town back together. You spotted a nearby hostel, a middle-aged woman crouched on the ground outside, attempting to tidy up the small flowerbed that looked as if it had been trampled on.
"Excuse me." You called out, gently.
The woman lifted her head. "Oh, hello. Can I help you?"
"I was wondering if you had any vacancies."
"As a matter of fact, I do." She smiled, softly, dusting her hands off on her apron. "You look like you need a good night's rest. Have you traveled far?"
"All night." You responded.
"I'll get you checked in right away. Follow me." You trailed behind the woman as she entered the house, going behind the front counter. "Sorry. We're a little short-staffed. There was a pirate pillaging last night. All but one of my employees quit—and he can't quit because he's my son. That sort of thing just doesn't happen here, so it really scared the workers."
"If you need help, I'd be happy to lend a hand." You told her.
"No, dear. You need rest."
"It's fine." You brushed it off. "It's daytime anyway. It's best I stay up."
"Are you sure, dear?"
"Of course. It seems like you could really use the extra help."
"If you insist. I won't turn down someone who's so willing to lend a helping hand. I'll show you to your room and bring you some working clothes."
"Great." You smiled, following her to the room you'd be staying in.
It was small, cozy, and equipped with only the necessities.
"So, what's your name?" She asked as you looked around the room.
"Y/n." You answered.
"That's a lovely name. You can call me Mrs. Park."
"Well, Mrs. Park, I'd like to stay here for a few days. How much do I owe you for it?" You asked, turning to her.
"Free of charge."
"I can pay for it. It's fine." You insisted.
Mrs. Park held her hand up to stop you.
"You're doing me a huge favor by offering to help me out. It's the least I can do."
"Well, thank you. I appreciate it."
"Like I said, it's the least I can do. We have running water. If you'd like, you can go wash up and I'll bring you a change of clothes and an apron. Then, we can get started on the work."
You didn't bring a lot with you, so getting settled wasn't a problem at all. You did take advantage of the running water Mrs. Park told you about. Being at sea, you haven't had access to clean water, therefore you've not been able to properly bathe. The closest you got to a bath was a quick dip in the ocean with a bar of soap. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap was provided for you, which you were immensely thankful for.
You felt rejuvenated after your bath. In fact, you felt like a whole new new person.
After stepping out of the bathroom, you spotted a neatly folded stack of clothes on your bed.
Normally, you'd wear a large, cream-colored shirt with ruffled sleeves tucked into a pair or trousers and black boots. The clothes Mrs. Park had provided you with contrasted greatly with your usual attire. In your hands was a long, navy-colored dress that laced up in the back, the garment made with thick material, as well as an apron to wear over the dress. As a pirate, you never wore dresses. They weren't really your thing, anyway. However, you were trying to start a new life, and that new life required you to wear the dress in your hands, so you put it on.
You were surprised by your reflection, hardly recognizing the person staring back. Your hair, which had started to dry, was fluffy and bouncy. The outfit was different, but you didn't hate it. You would have preferred pants, but you were willing to compromise since you had a place to stay.
Not wanting to waste too much time, you headed to the lobby.
"Mrs. Park, I'm ready to get started."
"Y/n?" Hongjoong called out.
He hadn't seen you all day. He was still a bit upset with you for the way you reacted the other day as well as last night, but when he didn't see you, not even with Minho, he began to worry.
"Y/n!" He called out again much louder, hurrying across the deck. "Has anyone seen Y/n?"
No answer.
In a panic, he peered over the side of the ship, noticing the row boat was gone. His head snapped towards the sails where Minho was standing.
"Minho!" He shouted, stomping over to the man. "Where is she?"
Minho didn't even spare a glance at Hongjoong and continued straightening out the rigging.
"I'm sure she's around here somewhere." He responded, nonchalantly.
"Don't make me ask again."
"I don't know where she is."
"Stop lying. I know the two of you have been spending time together. Where is she?"
"Away from you." Minho responded, his tone becoming snappy.
Hongjoong reached for his cutlass, pulling it from its sheath and pointing it at Minho's neck.
"Tell me where Y/n is." He demanded.
"You're the captain, you're smart. Why don't you figure it out?"
Hongjoong's jaw clenched, his patience being pushed to its limits. Then, suddenly, it clicked. You had to have gone to that town.
Hongjoong put his cutlass back in its sheath and turned around on his heel.
"We're changing course!" He announced. "I know where Y/n is. We're going to get her."
Working at the small hostel was wonderful. You found that you enjoyed it very much. Unlike life on Hongjoong's ship where you did the same thing every day, you did something different each day here. It was a nice change.
The day you arrived at the town, you were introduced to Mrs. Park's son, Seonghwa. He normally took care of washing the sheets and putting the beds back together. Sometimes he helped out in the kitchen and cooked meals for the residents. Now that all of the staff members had quit, he had to take up most of the slack. The two of you got along well and it made working at the hostel a lot more fun.
Mrs. Park had sent you and Seonghwa to the market to get some things she had run out of. She rushed the two of you out the door, going on about how dire it was that she get these items. She wanted to make a cake for you, which she had mentioned was her specialty, so getting the ingredients was very important.
"Alright. Eggs, flour, and sugar." You read off the list. "We got the sugar. Just a couple more things and we're good to go."
You picked up a small sack of flour and put it into the basket Seonghwa had tossed over his arm. That was the system. You grabbed the groceries, Seonghwa carried them.
"My mom really appreciates your help. When those pirates came though and everyone quit, she was really scared. She didn't know how she'd be able to take care of the place."
"Seems like I showed up at the right time."
"You did." He nodded with a smile. "I know it's only been a week, but things are starting to get back to normal, I think. Everyone seems to have recovered. I just hope it doesn't happen again."
"Me too." You responded, picking up a carton of eggs.
Unbeknownst go you, Hongjoong's ship had just docked at the town and the captain was making his way down the wharf.
You had just paid the cashier for the groceries and were headed back to the hostel when suddenly your wrist was grabbed and you were pulled away from Seonghwa into a small alley between two buildings. You jerked in the person's grip, trying to break free until you saw their face.
"What are you doing here?" You spat.
"What are you doing here?" Hongjoong turned the question back to you. "And what in the seven seas are you wearing?"
"I'm helping, and if you must know, this is the uniform I was given."
"Uniform?" He repeated, his face twisted in distaste.
"I'm working at a small hostel. Did you know all of the staff quit after your little rampage?"
You could see Hongjoong's eyes soften for a moment before he quickly covered it up.
"Why did you even come looking for me?" You questioned, harshly.
"You're part of my crew."
"Is that all I am to you? Just a crew member?"
"No."
"Well, that's what it feels like. Now if you'll excuse me, I have somewhere to be."
You started to walk away when Hongjoong grabbed you again.
"No you don't. You're coming back with me."
"I'm staying here."
"You don't have a choice, Y/n."
You jerked your arm away. "I do, and I choose to stay. You obviously don't need me back on that ship. You wasted your time coming back for me."
"You're wrong. I need you."
"You don't. You're the captain, remember? You make the decisions yourself. You don't need me to tell you what to do because in the end, you'll do what you want."
He opened his mouth to speak, but you continued.
"This whole captain thing has gone to your head. What happened to the Hongjoong I used to know?"
"I'm still the same Hongjoong."
"No, you're not. You've changed."
That's the last thing you said before walking back to Seonghwa, who was standing in the middle of the street with his mouth hanging open, his face as white as a sheet.
"Let's go." You grabbed his arm, pulling him in the direction of the hostel.
"D-do you know him?" Seonghwa asked, his head turned to stare at Hongjoong.
"I used to."
"He's the captain of the pirate crew that looted our town."
"I know."
"What?"
"It's a long story."
"If you're with him, then—"
"I'm not with him. I ran away. He wanted to pillage your town and I told him not to because this town is so selfless, but he didn't listen, so I left the ship."
"You're a pirate?" Seonghwa gaped.
"Yes."
"Is he going to take you back?"
"He's trying to."
Once you got back to the hostel, you gave Mrs. Park the items she asked for and hurried to your room, Seonghwa following behind.
"What are you going to do?" He asked.
"I don't know." You muttered, pacing back and forth. "I didn't know he'd come looking for me."
Just then, a loud thump came from the somewhere downstairs. You and Seonghwa shared a wide-eyed look before hurrying to the door. You peered over the shallow staircase and spotted Hongjoong at the front desk.
"You wouldn't happen to how a Y/n, would you?" He asked.
"No." Mrs. Park lied.
"I know she's here." Hongjoong spat.c"Where's her room?"
"Crap." You whispered, retreating to your bedroom where you frantically began packing your things.
"What are you doing? Where are you going?" Seonghwa questioned.
"I don't know. Away from here."
The dress you wore was restricting you immensely, making it hard for you to move around.
"I hate this thing." You grumbled.
"I have an idea. I'll go distract him while you change and make your escape."
You gave him a nod and gathered the clothes you arrived in, which had so generously been washed by Mrs. Park.
While Seonghwa was downstairs stalling, you quickly stripped off the confining dress, changing into your comfortable pirate attire. Not wanting to leave things in a mess, you hastily folded the dress and apron, lying it on the bed before you snuck out the window.
"You!" Hongjoong pointed when Seonghwa appeared downstairs. "Tell me where Y/n is."
"She's not here."
"Yes she is. Where are you hiding her?" He pressed.
"I already told you. She's not here."
Hongjoong's lip curled into a snarl as realization struck him. He then rushed out the front entrance, turning the corner to catch you just as your feet landed on the ground.
You were relived, feeling like you had successfully made your escape.
"You didn't think you could get away from me that easily, did you?"
Your heart sank.
Hongjoong grabbed you, pulling you out into the streets, yanking you towards the docks. You jerked and writhed in his grip, shouting at him to let go, but he wouldn't listen. Your heels dug into the dirt as you tried to stop Hongjoong, but it didn't work. His grip on you was too strong.
Seonghwa, who rushed out after Hongjoong, spotted him as he pulled you through town.
No one dared to help. It was obvious the townspeople recognized Hongjoong from the pillaging a week prior. They wouldn't dare try and stand up to him.
"I hate you!" You spat.
"I could care less about your feelings towards me."
"Clearly you do. If you didn't care that I was mad at you, you wouldn't have come looking for me."
His hand tightened around your wrist, which let you know you struck a nerve.
"Let go of me." You hissed.
"Not until we're back on the ship."
"Hey!" Someone cut in.
Hongjoong stopped in his tracks, turning to see who had shouted at him. You turned as well, gasping when you saw Seonghwa standing on the dock a few feet behind you.
"Let her go."
"And who do you think you are?"
"Her friend."
Hongjoong scoffed. "You've only known her for a week. You're not her friend. I'm her friend."
"Really? It doesn't look like it."
Hongjoong used his free hand to pull out his pistol, pointing it at Seonghwa.
"Stay out of our business before I put a bullet in your head."
"Hongjoong!" You snapped, pushing the barrel down. "What is wrong with you?"
He gave you a sharp glare before you turned to the man attempting to save you.
"Seonghwa." You placed your free hand on his shoulder. "I need to go."
"What?" He asked in disbelief. "You're going back?"
"I have to. There's things that need to be dealt with."
Seonghwa gave Hongjoong a skeptical look.
"It's not what you want, though."
"It's what needs to be done. Tell your mom I'm glad I could help her out, but that I needed to go. Good luck with your business."
Seonghwa gave you a sad look, but nodded in understanding.
As soon as Hongjoong had you back on the ship, he let you go, beginning to bark orders at the crew.
"Let's get out of here!"
While he was distracted, you hurried off, searching for Minho. You hadn't seen him on the deck, so you thought he was in his room.
You burst into his bedroom, but he was nowhere to be seen. After searching different areas of the ship, you found him in the galley, cleaning the tables.
"Minho!"
"Y/n. You're back." He responded, seeming surprised.
"Not by choice."
"Well, just because you're being forced to stay on this ship, doesn't mean you should be forced to be around Hongjoong. You can stay in my room if you want to."
"Thank you. What are you doing down here?"
"Hongjoong put me on kitchen duty when I refused to tell him where you were."
"I'm so sorry."
"It's fine. I don't mind cleaning up down here."
"Well, I appreciate that you kept my secret and tried to protect me." You smiled, giving him a light hug.
Just then, Hongjoong burst into the galley.
"I look away for two seconds and you've run off again. Now I find you hanging all over him."
He stormed over, grabbing your upper arm.
"Come here. We have some talking to do."
"Let go of her." Minho snapped. "You've forced her back on this ship. That should be enough."
"I'll deal with you later." Hongjoong pointed, pulling you out of the room.
You shouted at him as he dragged you all the way to the captain's quarters, calling him every name you could think of. Even when he released your arm, you continued ranting and raving.
"I can't even explain how angry I am right now!"
The door was then locked shut, causing you to spin around, abruptly. Hongjoong stood a few feet from you, his eyes dark as they stared into yours.
"Don't look at me like that. You have no right to be acting this w—"
You were cut off as Hongjoong pressed you against the door, his arms trapping you.
"I have every right to be acting this way. You're mine, remember?"
"I'm no one's."
You had barely gotten the sentence out of your mouth when his lips pressed harshly against yours. You had no time to react and were left frozen in place, your mind scrambling to make sense of what was going on.
Your eyes unconsciously fluttered closed as you allowed yourself to give in momentarily.
Hongjoong kissed you hungrily, letting out small growls that vibrated against your lips. You wanted so desperately to push him away. Your mind screamed at you to do so, but you couldn't. He had your mind in such a fog you couldn't seem to care what was wrong and what was right. Hongjoong's head tilted to the side, allowing his mouth to fit more closely with yours.
This is not right. This is not right.
Your senses finally kicked in and you pulled away, your hand making contact with Hongjoong's cheek as a resounding smack filled the air.
"What's wrong with you?"
Hongjoong placed a hand on his stinging cheek as he took a step back, a mildly shocked expression on his face.
"You got mad that I ran away, chased me down, acted like the biggest jerk ever, then all of a sudden you just kiss me?" You questioned. "What did you think that was gonna do?"
"I..." He trailed off.
"If you thought I would confess my love to you and forgive you, you're wrong. I don't love you. I love the old Hongjoong. The one who isn't this." You said, gesturing to him. "Just so you know, I'm sleeping in Minho's room tonight. If you need me, that's where I'll be." You told him, turning to leave.
"Wait." Hongjoong took hold of your wrist, this time much more softly, almost pleading. "Don't go."
You gave him an expectant look, waiting to see what he had to say. Though he was being a pompous jerk, he was still your friend and you were willing to hear him out.
"I'm sorry. I don't know what's gotten into me lately. You're right. This whole captain thing has gotten to my head. Being a pirate and being in charge of everyone made me feel like I could take whatever I wanted, that included you."
He paused, collecting his thoughts before continuing.
"The truth is, I love you—yes, I said love. Before you and I started this journey together I liked you, but over the years that turned into something more. My feelings for you combined with my sudden superiority complex made me think you belonged to me. In reality, I just couldn't stand the thought of not seeing you again. It made my chest hurt."
Your gaze softened a bit.
Truthfully, you'd held some feelings for Hongjoong. Though, you tried to bury them, they were slowly resurfacing after his heartfelt confession.
"I had no reason to go after you like that. I should have just let you stay. You were right. You don't belong to me." He added.
That's all it took.
You grabbed his collar, pulling him forward and swiftly placing your lips on his. Hongjoong's words meant a lot to you and you were more than willing to forgive him.
He was stiff at first, not expecting you to initiate the kiss. Then, once he registered what was happening he started to reciprocate, kissing you with just as much hunger and ferocity as he was minutes earlier. There was so much passion and desperation in the kiss that it left you breathless. One of his hands made it's way to your waist while the other rested on your upper back, pulling you closer to him. His lips fully encased yours a few times before taking your bottom lips between his teeth. You were blown away by his kissing skills, your mind and body turning to mush.
When he parted ways, you found yourself gasping for breath, your chest heaving up and down. You didn't get a lot of time to relax as Hongjoong began leaving open-mouth kisses down your neck. Your breath caught in your throat as your fingers tangled themselves in Hongjoong's tousled mullet, grabbing at the long strands. Small gasps left you when his teeth grazed your skin. You never thought he would be so bold, but you weren't complaining at all.
Hongjoong pulled away, his eyes glazed over as he stared into your own. His lips were puffy from the intense makeout session and his cheeks were flushed—and this time it wasn't from alcohol.
"Don't ever run away from me again." He murmured hoarsely, his thumb running over your bottom lip.
"Don't do anything stupid and I won't."
He let out a short chuckle. "I promise. I also wanna say that I'm sorry for looting that town. I should have listened to you. I'll do whatever it takes to make it up to you."
"Whatever it takes?" You questioned.
He nodded.
"Well, there is one thing."
Hongjoong returned the stolen items to the small town, apologizing for his actions. He continuously said he wasn't the type of person to do such horrible things and that he hopes the townspeople could forgive him.
Being the selfless people they were, the citizens forgave Hongjoong and even allowed him to keep some of the things he and the crew had looted. It was just enough supplies to last everyone until they got to another town. Mrs. Park and Seonghwa were happy to see you and understood that, while you had a good time staying in the town, your true home was at sea with Hongjoong. Mrs. Park even gave you her specialty cake as a parting gift.
"I baked it after you left." She told you.
"Don't you want to save some of this for yourself?"
"No." She shook her head. "You take it. Share it with the crew and that headstrong captain of yours."
You chuckled at her choice of adjective.
"He wasn't always so headstrong." You commented, glancing across the way at Hongjoong as he chatted with one of the townspeople. "That's why I'm here to be his voice of reason."
"Good." Mrs. Park smiled. "A man like him needs a strong woman by his side to keep him in check."
You chuckled lightly in response.
"Hey." Hongjoong cut in as he approached, snaking an arm around your waist. "We should get going."
You gave Seonghwa and Mrs. Park a bittersweet smile. "Thank you both for all the fond memories and giving me somewhat of a vacation."
"You're welcome." Seonghwa grinned.
"Come back anytime, dear." Mrs. Park smiled warmly.
With that, everyone boarded the ship and set sail once again.
"Mrs. Park gave me a cake." You smiled, showing Hongjoong. "It's her specialty."
"Looks good. Why don't we try it out?"
"It's to share with the crew." You told him, pulling it away.
"I'll share." Hongjoong responded with pleading eyes.
"I'll make sure you do."
"Hey." He piped up. "You know what goes good with cake?"
"What?"
"A party!"
For the first time in months, a party actually sounded fun.
Sour notes traveled through the night air as the crew sang out of tune. The celebration had just kicked off, so you knew the unpleasant singing wasn't from alcohol, though you expected it to get worse as the night went on.
Even Minho joined in on the celebrating, singing along with the crew and dancing around.
You sat alone on the forecastle deck watching the stars, the garbled singing once again becoming background noise.
The gentle thump of boots approaching caught you attention. You turned your head just as Hongjoong sat down next to you.
"What are you doing up here all alone? The party's not boring, is it?"
"No. I just wanted to watch the stars."
"Well, I brought you a slice of cake."
"Ah. Thank you." You smiled, taking the small plate from him. "What about you?"
"I thought we could share it." He responded, a smirk playing at the corner of his lips.
You tried to hold back a grin as he took the fork, getting a small bite of cake, bringing it to your lips.
You allowed Hongjoong to feed you, your eyes widening once you tasted the sweet treat.
"Mrs. Park was right. This is definitely her specialty." You commented.
"Wait." Hongjoong reached out, his fingers delicately holding your chin, turning you towards him. "You have something on you."
You didn't have time to respond as Hongjoong leaned in, pressing his lips to yours, his tongue swiping over your bottom lip, sending a rush of heat across your face.
He parted ways, letting out a chuckle as he licked his lips. "Got it."
You playfully smacked his shoulder, turning away in embarrassment.
"I can't believe you did that."
"But you liked it."
"A little." You responded, shyly.
"Oh. I almost forgot." He muttered, getting to his feet. "Wait here."
Hongjoong hurried off, returning moments later.
"Look what I got." He held up a bottle. "I told you I'd get us some fine wine."
"Where'd you get it?"
"Someone in that town gave it to me. He said it's meant to be shared with someone you love and then gestured to you." He chuckled. "I don't know how he knew we were together, but I have wine because of it."
"What are you waiting for? Let's open it."
"You don't have to tell me twice."
He popped the cork on the bottle, handing it to you. "M'lady." He offered.
You gladly took the bottle, taking a sip and humming in approval before handing it to him.
Your head rested on his shoulder as he took a large gulp of alcohol, setting the bottle on the deck.
"I love you, Hongjoong."
The words unconsciously slipped out, but you didn't care. Hongjoong's head rested on top of yours as he responded.
"I love you too, Y/n."
