I fully believe we haven't seen mk truly lose it on anyone yet--no not even when he fought azure or the curse--mk has always had control over what he's doing outside of accidental fumbles when hes first learning how to use his powers and I'd say he's almost more deadly when he's angry because so far being mad hasn't made him crazy or wild or out of control so far as I've observed being mad has only made him more focused

AU where Josh manages to grab onto Nigel’s hand at the last moment that night on the train and both of them fall out. AU where Nigel has been dead the entire time but Alex Forbes doesn’t know that; where the trauma of watching his friend fall to his death combined with the realisation he was complicit in the death of another causes his mind to fracture.
He doesn’t remember making it back to his dorm room that night, only remembers waking up to the news that Josh and Nigel were was dead. All of Nigel’s things have been moved to another room, of course they have, because Nigel was gone, dead, all his fault, his fault trouble.
AU where Alex takes the train one night to the Colbie house because Nigel asks him to, because he feels this innate and intense need to try and better understand this boy he got killed; where he finds the card and the books and Nigel’s red bible, and begins to understand.
AU where the body of Susan turns up one morning, and the police question Alex about it, but there’s no way it was him, because he was late; he was late, and by the time he showed up at the cinema, she was waiting for him still, sweet Susan, with her kind eyes and kinder heart, she had waited for him and she didn’t even suspect anything until the very second before he struck gone.
AU where Alex finds the letter he wrote Nigel wrote, inviting him to his house that night, where Alex sees the Colbies arguing through the window; where he wrestles the gun from John and shoots him to kill him because he read the journals, knows that this man has been hurting Nigel his whole life and he wanted him dead protect Nigel.
AU where Nigel confronts Alex at the train yard that night, where he forces Alex to remember everything he did, everything Alex did; where he forces Alex to pull the trigger and kill off the version of Nigel he’s been carrying around in his mind, where Alex dies that night right along with him and Jack is born instead.

my mortal enemy that talentless charlatan sarah j maas does this thing that a lot of subpar writers do, where she doesn't write good and bad actions, she writes good and bad people. and it doesn't matter if one "good" character and one "bad" character do the same exact thing, or even if the good character does worse things, if the good character does it its a good action and if the bad character does it its a bad action. doesn't matter what the action actually is.
both the other characters and the narrative itself will condemn the things that the "bad" character does, proving that this is something that society in this world condemns, but those same exact characters, along with the narrative, will praise the "good" character for those exact same things. which is not only hypocritical, but also just shitty writing.

I like to think that if Lucien could also read minds, he and Rhysand, as two guys who have known Tamlin longest, would have bonded immediately after Aramantha first laid out her curse over sharing the single deafening thought:
“I cannot fucking believe that the ENTIRE FATE of the entire fucking KNOWN WORLD depends on THIS GUY, developing people skills and a sense of emotional intelligence some time in the next 50 years.”
Lucien has a whole ass job because of how bad with people Tamlin is and Rhys straight out says he taught Tamlin about women. Of everyone in that room these are the two most aware of how singularly fucked they are by the terms of this curse.

Listen i’ve seen some OFMD kiss discussion again so let me just put this out there. I would agree with you if that was the only kiss we’re ever going to get, but since we’re getting season two I’m actually kinda glad that their kiss was akin to two 12 year olds who have no idea what they’re doing, because that means we get to watch them improve. don’t you see? This is their first kiss not their only kiss. we get to see different types of kisses. Their first was tender chaste and a little bit awkward, but maybe their next one will be honest to god sucking face. maybe we’ll see one that starts out like the first one and then they open their mouths. maybe we’ll get one that’s slow and sensual. maybe we’ll get one that’s desperate and horny. Maybe, if we’re really lucky, we’ll get a broke-back mountain style nosebreaker. If they only ever kiss like that I will criticize that but I personally am looking forward to seeing them improve. There will be another kiss.
