Big Q’s Big Plans & Big Lore

So, I felt the need to rewatch the stream where Bad tries to get Quackity under the Egg’s influence, just so I could see whether the land Quackity pointed at was being alluded to as the same place where his upcoming lore would be involved

I mean, it was obvious

(That trail isn’t the most accurate but I tried)

I’ve been thinking about Quackity and Bad’s conversation throughout that stream, particularly when Quackity asks Bad to pay particularly close attention to a specific parcel of land

It made me think: what does Quackity have or know that can prove resistant against the Crimson Egg?

Because Quackity gathered sufficient (at the time) information about the Egg’s needs and wants, and considered this “Vegas” (as hinted) plan as a means to get in Bad/the Egg’s way.

Now, since that conversation, we learned a lot more about the Egg that I wager Quackity has no idea about unless he proves otherwise. (Don’t get me started on the implications of the Egg claiming Hannah and Sam, holy shit so many things would go wrong if this happened.)

Based on what we know about the Egg, let’s try to gather what we know about Quackity’s future build (keep in mind that list may be incomplete as apparently Quackity spills shit in his twitter alt and I refuse to get twitter):

• it’s located a particular distance away

• clearly finished enough in construction for it to be considered hidden from the map

• will be used as a means for Quackity to get incredibly rich

• is intended to get in the way of the Eggpire

• is alluded to be akin to a business, like Vegas, and has been referred to as a casino

• may contain a pyramid with a beacon, like the one in the real Las Vegas

• is tied to Awesamdude’s future bank

• has been going on from possibly as early as after Doomsday, which was the 6th of January, and was capable of being revealed as early as March 1 (but was clearly moved due to lore events involving Tommy dying) but has not been revealed yet

• Quackity hired builders for this thing, so it’s clearly huge

Right now, based on what we know, I have absolutely no confidence that this place could resist the Egg’s influence. I wager that it would enhance it, actually.

My theory is that Quackity is clearly creating a business-esque structure reliant on, from what I gathered from his conversation with Bad, people’s personal attachments. These attachments, however, boil down to personal property. This is money and assets we’re talking about here. If he’s doing all this shit alone, I feel that the Egg will find some way to take advantage of this.

I mean, have you seen the members of the Eggpire?

• Two (or three, if you count Skeppy despite inactivity) belong to the Badlands, one of the richest factions on the server.

• Punz, a mercenary who would do literally anything, even get rid of his dignity, for money, is an Egghead.

• Ponk, who is known for scamming, stealing, pranking, and is involved with a real estate business is also an Egghead.

• Special mention for Purpled, owner of said real estate business, who is affiliated with the Eggpire by paid service—this same kid, this Technoblade-esque rich, equipped, and skilled child? He has Quackity’s level of negotiation and paranoia around people! They are ideal casino patrons and they all have ties to the Crimson Egg.

It's remembering how the Egg got everyone in the Tale of the Masquerade, taking advantage of everyone’s desire to become rich.

It’s remembering that majority of the server are going through arcs of healing—those who lost significant amounts of property are starting businesses and services (if not new bases, houses, or etc.) to bide time and to recuperate personal losses.

I mean, Bad knows where this is. If Bad knows, then the Egg knows too. Quackity cannot avoid the Egg forever. We all remember what happened to Foolish, right?

If Quackity’s protection is not within his build, or is not directly related from the build, he would need protection via involvement in arcs that he more or less should have involvement in.

The Resurrection Arc is an arc several people are involved in, he himself included. Quackity has expressed desires for Dream’s death, as well as supposed knowledge of resurrection in order to revive Schlatt. This knowledge Dream possesses is why he is in Pandora’s Vault and is why the Prison Arc ties so closely with the Resurrection Arc, not to mention Tommy dying and resurrecting within Dream’s cell.

Jschlatt’s ties to death come from being the source of knowledge on resurrection, hell, he’s the reason Dream has that knowledge. Jschlatt is also dead himself, and Glatt exists. Schlatt’s business with Connor in SMPLive is canon in his and Connor’s arcs, not to mention both individuals in question expressing desires related to business and money.

Connor is also being hinted as heavily involved with the resurrection arc as well, demonstrating an independent knowledge and attempts at learning necromancy as well as a desire to “cure mortality” and revive Schlatt, for the personal desire to curb his loneliness. Connor has quite the habit associating with dead people as well, namely having interacted with Wilbur/Ghostbur a few times. Some of his most notable moments with Tommy both involve Tommy’s return from the dead, i.e., the hostage situation (presumed death) and the literal exit from Pandora’s Vault (actual death).

Connor’s link to the Prison Arc so far has been expressing beliefs in prison reform (and I know this doesn’t count, but the Nether Portal mishap he had comes to mind, which can count as an argument for in-lore, in-universe prison reform).

Quackity’s relationship with Schlatt is known to be both political and romantic (and depending on how you believe “Quackity gave birth to the Mexican L’Manburg/El Rapids dirt landmass,” as well as “Mpreg exists in the Dream SMP,” also sexual). Schlatt died before the two could have any proper closure. If Eret’s discovery is actually accidentally discovered lore, which I believe to be the case, we may get that closure soon, and it will in some way direct Quackity’s choices concerning the Vegas build.

In regards to Quackity’s relationships are his future husbands Karl Jacobs and Sapnap, both with connections to larger arcs.

Let’s start with Karl and his time traveling through the In-Between. Man created Kinoko to relocate his library and establish a place for him and his friends. The library is in some way a piece of history Karl himself keeps as well.

Karl’s time traveling linked him to the Egg arc via the Masquerade, to arguably the Resurrection arc with Connor (who is presumed a time traveler as well) and Ponk (whose lore contributions tie to The Village that Went Mad and Foolish), and the general overall history of the SMP that ties into the narrative importance of the Prison arc (as demonstrated in The Lost City of Mizu and to some degree The Haunted Mansion). Quackity has no idea what Karl is doing, but is narratively linked to people who would know. *cough* Connor *cough*

Sapnap’s arc so far ties him to Kinoko (and previously El Rapids), reiterating how important his friends and fiances are to him. In light of that is his connection to the Prison Arc as a person who had close relationships with Dream in the past. His prison visits and knowledge of Ranboo’s connections with Dream, as well as any established friendship with Tommy keeps him tied. He and Quackity have shown good friendship with Tommy in canon and would be happy to kill Dream if they had to.

I’m thinking that if Quackity wants to resist the Egg through his own singular efforts, maybe his involvement in other arcs would do things for him first. He’s still mistrusting of others and he is still paranoid. He can benefit from help, most especially from his friend circle and their connections.

For many times people only do something good for us in exchange for something they can benefit from. There’s no one who will do anything for us without thinking of the advantage they will get from it. Now, our verse today reminds us of what God was willing to do for us even if there’s nothing in it for Him. There’s nothing in it for God but still He chose to act for our sake.

Just like the amazing faith of Abraham who looked forward to the coming of the Savior, although he did not see Him physically, he believed in his heart that Jesus Christ would come. Again, our salvation was all because of the grace of God and His love. There is nothing we can do that can make us deserving of this salvation but everything we do is just making us undeserving. However, we have to understand that there is nothing God can benefit from saving us, because He has everything already.

His death and resurrection was all because of His love and mercy. Jesus Christ was delivered over to death for our sins. Take note that it is all our sins, not the mistakes of God for He is holy. It is all because of our sins that Jesus Christ was delivered to death and it is also for our justification that He was raised from the dead. As we can see, it is all for us, His death and His suffering was because of us. Also, His resurrection was for us and for God to tell us that we are now justified and His wrath has been appeased.

Indeed that everything was all for us, and it is not because of all the good things we did but because we are under grace. It is all because of His grace and nothing more. God is not like us, who only do things that can benefit us, but God is a gracious God and full of mercy that is why He chose to save us and to love us fully. As He died and rose back again, it was all for our salvation and for our justification.

Now that we are saved and justified, we should remember to thank God for His grace and mercy. We have to always hold on to this truth and never turn our backs from it. God has moved heaven and earth to save us because He loves us and because He is gracious. Let us always remember that what Jesus did was all for us. It was all for us and nothing more. Praises and glory goes back to God for His grace and mercy.
