It is pathetic that International Women's Day is necessary.
Treat women respectfully everyday and not just one day in the standard year.

Whatever you give a women she will multiply it and give it back because it is within the woman (regardless of how she presents herself and expresses herself) to bring things into fruition, to be creative and to be the conduit of magic and manifestation. That is why women’s bodies do not work the same as men, why they need more rest, why they live by a 28 to 32 day menstrual cycle, why their worth is not attached to productivity and output. This is why women thrive when they’re given the space to be valued, appreciated and relax. That is why speaking highly of women is incredibly important. That’s why men are designed to be honorable, respectful, and chivalrous regardless of whether or not they agree with or desire whomever is in front of them. Those who take care of women and provide them safety, peace, and stability are very well taken care of in return. Healthy, radiant, powerful, abundant, and fulfilled.
I have so much I can say on this topic it’s taking everything in me not to post an intricate think peace.

Hey Ladies, men who bitch about women’s outfits with dumb shit like “Men like The Chase™️” & “Women are gifts that should be unwrapped by a special man”, are admitting out loud he’s a predator who sees & prefers non-consenting women as consumable objects for male enjoyment he must outwit & manipulate in order to “win” aka get her clothes off.
It’s never about modesty. Run in the other direction.

Can we pls take a minute to appreciate Queen Sally Jackson (for all the reasons obviously) but especially because our girl raised Percy defending and empowering Medusa, who was not only a "monster", but who was also POSEIDONS FORMER LOVER/VICTIM DEPENDING ON WHICH VERSION YOU'RE FOLLOWING. Like, if we're going by what they said in the show, this bitch really just said "Oh yeah, that woman that my husband was in love with that Athena got mad at and turned into a snake-headed sculpterer? She's a badass bitch. Respect dangerous women Percy" LIKE EXCUSE ME WHAT YES PLEASE AND THANK YOU SALLY JACKSON OUR QUEEN

it’s interesting that kid me didn’t view star wars women as sexualized
idk how i feel abt it now, but as a kid i felt kinda the opposite abt the star wars women being sexualized (apart from leia that one time but it was on purpose) which is smthn a lot of ppl feel. as a kid i saw women like padme, ashoka, even aayla secura, and thought it was cool they were still respected even though sometimes they wore tight outfits or cut out dresses. it actually did the opposite for me as a kid, and made me realize if the fucking jedi don’t make a big deal about it, the rest of the world shouldn’t either. didn’t make a difference to men like obi-wan, yoda, even palpatine. wear what you want, and u can still be a senator, a fighter, a doctor, a queen, wtv u want in that world, and still be taken seriously. on the opposite end, luminara unduli reminded me of muslim women and wasn’t labeled a prude. idk if that’s what was intended, but i’m glad kid me saw it that way bc it helped me even if it wasn’t supposed to.
