INTERACTION WISHLIST / Plot call, TONY STARK.
So I’ve been mulling over various interactions with canon characters from other fandoms and how those would go with my dark verse power broker / master spy / arms dealer / assassin version of Andy and I was thinking specifically about Tony Stark this morning and came up with a plot idea that could be fun but it would totally derail 90% of Tony’s canon in MCU so it would probably be totally AU with somebody if they were interested but:
Stark Industries was one of the more prolific Under The Table modern arms dealers in the MCU earth with Obadiah Stane spearheading those sales and using them for warmongering and personal profit which - okay Andy gets it everybody’s got their hand out: if you can find a way to make a profit go for it whatever. But then he gets greedy. He wants to make the Stark heir disappear. He hires the Ten Rings front to make this happen.
Andy, being who and what she is, hears about this contract and is displeased bc one: he didn’t go through her, two: she dislikes the ten rings personally bc they have been around as long as she has and grudges are like that and three: it means no more inventions and weapons from the mind of Tony Stark genius extraordinaire
So she steps in.
It could be as dramatic as a last minute rescue as the convoys being attacked and she and a team sweep in and get him out or she could find a way to get to him after his presentation but before the convoy leaves so as to bypass the initial attack to capture him altogether.
She shows him proof of what Stone transacted with the Ten Rings to assassinate him, she shows him proof of the warmongering and private sales that Stone is doing. Her goal is to alienate Stone and force him out of the company, while gaining Tony’s trust and access to Tony and his weapons and company.
Now where this goes from here could vary greatly. Maybe she ends up telling him who/what she is at some point or maybe he discovers it when she has to “die” to save his life at some point and then she has to tell him. Maybe he still ends up in some kind of iron man suit just way more private army vengeance / taking back his weapons / being a one man army driven by less noble intentions like spite rather than some degree of altruism and a desire to clean up his company’s mess like he starts out with in the movies.
Maybe he ends up finding out the truth about her after they meet through research of his own along the way too, maybe he starts Jarvis on figuring out who she is and Jarvis starts to unravel the very very very long and twisting tale of Andy through the millennium. Maybe she relents and admits the truth about her immortality and her power broker / worldwide organization because why not. Maybe he ends up giving her a reason to believe there could be some good come of it all in the right hands or with the right intentions. Maybe he makes her better. Maybe she makes him worse. There’s so many ways it could go.
Poke me via im or inbox or something or reply here if you’re interested in spinning something off this plot.

Captain Hydra/Spiderman
This was inspired by @anime-lover1717
I tried to post this in answer to the ask, but it wouldn’t let me set tags like that.
Here is the link to the original ask: I loved this ask
I must admit, I had to read up on the universe with Captain Hydra Steve, as I have always been very partial to Peter Parker’s Spiderman and hardly looked at any comics that didn’t feature him, which is why I knew basically nothing about this particular story line. So, as I tried to familiarize myself with the matter at hand, I came to the following conclusion: ‘This is one convoluted mess.’ Now, this might have been better understandable had I actually read the comic issues, and not just a summary of them. But fact is, the comic canon circumstances under which Steve becomes an agent of Hydra, as well as everything around that, including characters and alliances, was too complicated for me to work with in a story.
Which is why I played around with some facts, ignored some story lines, made up some other things, and pretty much fucked up everything.
So the Hydra in Captain Hydra’s universe is still unarguably the bad guys, but they are not the torture happy sadist Nazi evil dudes and dudettes they are usually portrayed as.
Also, while many instances here hint at things that have happened in the MCU, and while everyone is completely free to envision Peter however they like, this here does not strictly follow the MCU canon.
The universe in which Captain Hydra finds Peter, is referred to as Earth 108. This is not hinting at any existing universe in the Marvel comics, or the Cinematic Universe. It’s simply a play on Peter’s birthday (August 10th), because I’m lazy and unimaginative.
I Don’t Have A Title For This!
Good and evil, Steve knew, were more often than not, a matter of perspective.
If a man killed another man, he was a murderer.
If a man saved another man’s life, he was a hero.
If the man from both those examples happened to be one and the same, was he good, or was he evil?
Individuals and societies as a whole, have different parameters for being good and bad and that may or may not be applicable for others.
There was a quote that goes something like this, we judge others by their actions, and ourselves by our intention.
Most people's perception of morality, was subject to culture and societal norms. What was completely legal in one country, could get you a prison sentence in another.
If someone's actions didn't align with anothers' beliefs, it was just far easier to call them 'evil', 'bad', and label them a 'villain', than to try to understand their reasoning, or admit fault in one’s own logic and morals.
Another factor was time. Humans and the societies they lived in evolved over time, and so did their view on morals and ethics. What was once seen as right and just, was subject to harsh judgement two centuries later. Something that right now is seen as morally correct, might be found cruel or disrespectful in the far future.
In the end, the whole debate was probably more deep and philosophical than Steve had the will or patience to deal with.
What truly mattered, was that Hydra's plans for the world, and therefore, humanity, were something he not only believed in, but supported wholeheartedly.
In his opinion, a large part of the struggles that humanity faced, was due to the moral ambiguity and different social standings, different ethics and belief systems, that the various cultures and societies produced.
Countries forcing their citizens to endure wars for economic or territorial gain. Religious diversity causing hatred between two or more groups. Racism and nationalism abound.
There was no structure, no unity, no order.
It was the classic tale of the tower to babel. According to the story, a united humanity in the generations following the Great Flood, speaking a single language and migrating westward, comes to the land of Shinar. There they agree to build a city and a tower tall enough to reach heaven. God, observing their city and tower, confounds their speech so that they can no longer understand each other, and scatters them around the world.
Whether one was religious or not, the story taught a valuable lesson. Together, united, striving toward the same goals, adhering to the same rules, following the same leader, mankind could achieve great things.
And that was all that Hydra wanted. To unite humanity under their banner.
Countries couldn't wage wars upon each other, if Hydra held all of the worlds weapons.
The chasm between the rich and the poor could be reduced, if Hydra had control over the world market.
People who developed powers and abilities that separated them from normal humans could be trained, studied, helped.
Was it cruel to have taken young Wanda and Pietro from their parents those many years ago? Perhaps.
But the children had had poor control over their powers, and their parents had refused to take the help that Hydra had offered them. Now it was 20 years later, and Wanda and Pietro had not only fully mastered their powers, but they had also made many good friends and parental figures within the organization. The training was sometimes hard, yes. But it was never designed to torture. The scientists that studied people like Steve and the twins (and others like them), weren't sadists.
Mutants and mutates weren't subjected to body modifications (unless they themselves requested such, or they were a medical requirement.)
His best friend Bucky had survived the cruelties of war thanks to Hydra's experiments with the super serum. He had the use of both of his arms, thanks to the Hydra scientists who had built him a new one. Wanda could sleep without accidentally slipping into the mind of another, because the many tests she had had to undergo, had helped her understand and control her powers. Studying the way Pietro's body withstood the centrifugal forces when he sped up, brought the potential of many advancements in both the technological, as well as the medical fields. The rate at which Steve's body healed from injury, would one day pave the way for Hydra to cure illnesses such as diabetes, cancer, and possibly even AIDS.
And those were just some of the examples in which Hydra would change the world for the better.
However, change like this came with a price.
Howard Stark, who had refused to manufacture weapons for Hydra, had been one of those. His wife, unfortunately, collateral damage. As had been Wanda and Pietro's parents.
The so called 'heroes' that stood in Hydra’s way, needed either to be brought over to their side, or eliminated. Governments that couldn't be infiltrated, needed to be felled.
You had to break some eggs to make an omelet.
It wouldn't matter in the long run, because the end would justify the means.
While Hydra wasn't scared to use force to do what was necessary (and they already had, on multiple occasions), it would still be preferable to win the masses over. Make them realize that Hydra was not as villainous or evil as most viewed them. After all, if they only won through the subjugation of the whole world, they stood the risk of revolution.
Which was the reason that Steve had been sent out through the portal their scientists had created, with the help of alien tech, to search for allies for their cause in other dimensions.
He had already been successful a few times. One dimension had yielded a version of Anthony Edward Stark, that was just as brilliant, but far less morally uptight, as the one in Steve’s own universe. Another had reunited him with a different Natasha Romanoff. The redhead in his own world had, sadly, sided against him, and was raising a movement against their organization. Yet another trip through the portal had secured the services of one Wade Wilson, or as he liked to be called, Deadpool. An ex-US Military soldier turned immortal mercenary, who had become disillusioned to his states moral high grounds. He was an insane pain in the ass, but damn useful.
Still, non of the new recruits filled the criteria he was looking for. So the search continued. Until he stepped foot into the latest universe, coined by the researchers, Earth 108.
The first thing that surprised him about this universe, was their very own Hydra group. Steve had looked into them right away, hoping to have found possibilities for cooperation between their universes. But it became quickly apparent to him that, while on the surface this Hydra's goals and ideals might seem similar to Steve's worlds Hydra, there were some glaring differences in execution that couldn't be overlooked or tolerated.
Turning his attention away from the poor imitation of Steve's Hydra, he looked instead into 108′s heroes. What he found both disappointed and amazed him .
The disappointment rang loudest when he found this worlds James Barnes. Teamed up with Sam Wilson, formerly known as the Falcon, but having taken on the mantle of Captain America in this world, Bucky was- no. He refused to call this man Bucky. This version of James was a shadow of the man he called his best friend.
Sam Wilson was another disappointment, though not as much of a surprise. His world's Sam was an enemy to Hydra, too convinced in his own views of the world and too stubborn to accept any different.
Earth 108 had no natural mutants, only mutates. As it turned out, the Maximoff twins not only existed in this world, but also had roughly the same powers. Only the origin of those powers was different.
The Pietro of this world had died, and his sister was hardly seen by civilians, obviously she held no interest in using her gift to the betterment of the people.
There had apparently been a Steve Rogers, who had once worn the colors of Captain America and fought for his country. But the man had vanished, chosen the peaceful life of a civilian, over standing by his friends, and protecting those that needed him.
The Tony Stark and Natasha Romanoff of this world had also perished, in some big battle that had been fought against an almost almighty being. Steve didn't feel too bad about it, though. After all, he already had secured the loyalty of their undoubtedly superior versions.
While other people with powers existed, not much was known about them, apart from a few appearances. Which told Steve that they hadn't really done anything worth of acknowledgment.
And then he found Spiderman.
Spiderman was a guy who dressed up in blue and red spandex (slight stature, narrow frame, lithe,  but finely muscled), and swung around the city of New York on white strings (“Synthetic spider webs.” Tony had told him, an excited, almost manic gleam in his eyes. “Those are biodegradable, synthetic spider webs, that would have decomposed before I could get them under a microscope, had you brought them to me only an hour later. The tensile strength of these things is through the roof! I have tried reverse engineering it, but there is something about it's components that apparently changes when mixed together, which makes recreating it without knowing the original ingredients pretty much impossible. I want that formula, Cap. And the guy who came up with it. What are you still doing standing around here like the worlds most boring historic statue? Get back to 108 and find out more about that spider guy!”)
So that was exactly what Steve did, and he spent days observing the vigilante hero and learning as much about the young man (the tenor of his voice and the way he talked led Steve to believe the guy was somewhere in his early twenties) as he could.
And that's where the amazement came in.
Now this, this was a hero.
Spiderman didn't choose who deserved his help and who didn't. He climbed up a tree to bring down a stuck cat for a little girl, with the same aura of purpose, as when he jumped recklessly into a burning building to get out the inhabitants the firefighters couldn't reach. He spent hours almost every night, jumping from roof to roof, traveling along the cities many streets and alleys via his webs, to look out for citizens in trouble.
The type of criminal he would take on likewise didn't matter.
Be it a mugger with a knife, a rapist who had drugged his unsuspecting victim, a group of bank robbers with automatic guns, or a mutated villain with delusions of grandeur, or just a simple thirst for revenge, Spiderman fought them all.
And that was perhaps the most fascinating thing about the man. Steve had only been shadowing the vigilante for little more than a week by this point (which was surprisingly hard, the man seemed to sense whenever Steve got too close, and had almost spotted his 'stalker' a few times), but he had witnessed enough to know that Spiderman had enhanced strength, speed, and reflexes.
It should have been easy for him to lay out his opponents. Child's play, really, to kill most of them.
But he didn't. Spiderman pulled every punch, held himself back on every kick. Let himself take damage when there was risk to the civilians around.
Many people didn’t see a distinction between ‘fighting a criminal’ and ‘saving a person’. It was one and the same, wasn’t it? If you fought a mugger, you saved the person they were trying to rob. If you fight a rapist, you save the person they were trying to rape.
But it wasn’t as easy as that.
In Steve’s experience, most ‘heroes’ were created out of a need for revenge. They went out and fought ‘the good fight’, in order to rid the world of those who tried to hurt others. They went out in order to stop crime, and to fight the villain, and to punish the unjust. Saving someone in the process, was a byproduct.
But for Spiderman, the opposite was true.
Spiderman wasn’t out to punish, or to hurt or kill the villains of this world. Spiderman didn’t take on the role of judge, jury and executioner.
Spiderman simply wanted to help others. If helping someone meant holding up a collapsing building, that’s what he did. If helping someone meant fighting a bunch of thugs, that’s what he did. If helping someone meant explaining to them how they could get to a certain part in the city, then that’s what he did.
Steve caught an interview that one of the news reporters did with the vigilante, just after Spiderman (or Spidey, as most of this city seemed to like calling him affectionately), had resolved a hostage situation.
“This is New York News, live on the scene with Spiderman, where the city’s beloved hero has just prevented what could have ended in many causalities. Spidey, what most of our viewers have been dying to know since you first appeared, what made you choose to throw on that skin tight suit and fight crime in the first place?”
It was interesting to note that Spiderman seemed both awkward and shy in front of the camera, but somehow also reveled in the attention.
“Uhm, actually, I think, that is... It’s not so much that I specifically chose to fight crime. Someone who meant a lot to me once told me that ‘With great power, comes great responsibility’. I have these powers, and I’m honestly not sure that I did anything to deserve them at the time, but it is my responsibility to use them for good. Well, at least that’s what I believe.”
That was when Steve knew that Spiderman was exactly what Hydra needed. He could be their poster boy, their front man, the image of ‘goodness’, that the organization lacked. Spiderman could win the support of the civilians, could soften them into accepting Hydra’s rule, while Steve and the others continued their work in the shadows.
There was only one problem.
Spiderman’s obviously stellar moral compass.
He brought the matter up with his team and superiors.
“Would you be able to make him more open to our way of doing things, Wanda?”
“Not without running the risk of completely changing his character. From everything Steve has told us about this man, these things are too deeply ingrained in his being to simply change them.”
“.. There might be a way...”
“Could you elaborate on that, Doctor Schmidt?”
“Well, there are several drugs used in the present to help victims that have been through traumatic events, by replacing the problematic memories with other, harmless, or even happy ones. They are used mostly in the treatment of PTSD in soldiers, or especially traumatized children, who have experienced high levels of abuse. My research team has been working on tweaking the effects of the drug for some time, and we are at a point where I’m positive that we could use it to manipulate a person’s perception of events. If, for example, we use the drug to plant the ‘fact’ that Hydra would never break the law, and he witnessed exactly that, his mind would erase the memory of it as it happened. He would simply be unable to retain the kind of information that would contradict what the drug had planted.”
“Why am I only hearing of this drug now? Wouldn’t that solve the problems we are having with bringing the people around to our way?”
“It’s sadly not applicable for mass distribution. The drug needs to be specifically attuned to the chemical and biological make-up of the person on who it is used. And it must be regularly administered to keep up its effect. So while it may work on one individual, it’s just not possible to manufacture it for hundreds of thousands of people.”
“Very well. What would you need to ‘attune’ the drug to Spiderman?”
“Any kind of organic sample will do. Blood, skin tissue, some hairs... Just anything that carries his DNA.”
“That should be easy enough to accomplish for you, Captain. And while you are at it, try to find out who is beneath the mask.”
“Yes Sir.”
It turned out to be easier than he thought it would be. Spiderman had fought a man with four mechanical arms who called himself Doc Ock. (Well, Spidey had called him Doc Ock, which hadn’t seemed to be sitting all that well with the man.)
While Spiderman had won, he had been wounded. The vigilante had managed to swing himself away from the place that was rapidly filling with onlookers, authorities, and emergency personnel alike, and had come to a painful stop in a dark alley a few miles away. It had taken Steve a few minutes to catch up with him, but once he did, he quickly crouched down in front of the crumpled form of the red and blue clad man, who was leaning weakly against the dirty wall, pressing a hand to his bleeding side, and breathing harshly through his teeth.
He flinched violently when Steve laid a steadying hand on his shoulder.
“Easy there, I’m not going to hurt you.”
“Cap... Captain... Rogers..? Sir..? I thought you... you were...”
Speaking was evidently hard, so Steve held up a calming hand.
“It’s a long story. Let’s get you some help first.”
He was about to reach over to scoop the slighter man into his arms, but was stopped by a hand on his chest and a rapidly shaking head.
“Can’t... can’t go to.... a hospi.. hospital... It’s okay... ‘ve got a... got a... healing factor... I’ll be fine... Just need a... a few.. “
Accelerated healing. Spiderman really was the perfect hero.
Steve nodded in order to appease the man.
“Okay. Are you sure your wound isn’t too much for your healing factor?”
Spiderman nodded.
“... Just need... to not bleed out... before it can... finish repairing the... damage..”
“Good. Let me help you with that.” He pressed his hand over the slimmer, smaller one that was covering the wound. It tore a pained, but thankfully short, groan from the hero’s lips.
“My instructor in the army used to say that we should be damn grateful if we feel pain, because that means we are still alive. Just keep breathing. You are doing good. Maybe we should take off that mask-”
He reached for it, but his hand was intercepted by a still surprisingly strong grip. He looked right into the masks eyes and spoke in a reassuring tone.
“Don’t worry, we are deep enough in this alley that no one will see. The mask might make it harder for you to breath under these circumstances, and I can’t imagine it feels very comfortable right now. No one will know besides me. Trust me.”
Steve was banking on the fact that his other version had been a well respected and trusted icon to the people of this world. Thankfully, it worked, and his hand was released from the now slightly shaking grip.
Steve had not been prepared for the sight that greeted him once he removed the mask, and he couldn’t help but stare for a few seconds.
Beautiful.
Spiderman was beautiful.
Chestnut curls, almond eyes, pale skin (though that could be due to the blood loss), soft features.
Gorgeous. Just utterly gorgeous.
“Uhm, uh,.. hey. I mean, hi. I... I didn’t really get the... chance to introduce myself,.. last time we met,... so uhm,... hi. I... I’m Peter. P-Peter Parker. I’m... I’m a big.. fan.”
He was blushing through his ramble.
Adorable.
It was too dark, and Peter was too exhausted, to discern the wide smirk on the Captain’s face.
“Hello, Peter Parker.”
It was so easy, after that first meeting.
Steve had stayed crouched before Peter and applied pressure to the sizable wound for a good twenty minutes, before the younger man had judged it safe to use his webs to spray the wound close. He was weak from the blood loss, so Steve had told him to stay right there, while he himself would go and retrieve the backpack with Peter’s civilian clothes for him to change into.
Still shaky and slightly trembling, Peter had gratefully accepted Steve’s arm around his slim waist, and had let the super soldier support him the whole way to his apartment. There Steve had carefully deposited him on his beat up couch, pressed a bottle of water into his hand, and fixed him a quick meal with the ingredients found in the fridge. (Which were pitiful at best. The state of the whole apartment actually left a lot to be desired in Steve’s eyes.)
He had stayed and watched as the younger man ate, refusing all offers of Peter to share the meager portion, and kept lifting up the shirt to check if the temporary bandage had been bled through. (And to covertly stroke over the skin surrounding the wound. And oh, it was just as soft as it looked.)
When the webbing dissolved about an hour later, Steve insisted on cleaning and bandaging the wound himself, which had Peter blushing and stuttering, in-between thanking Steve for his help.
He didn’t notice when the Captain held a small vial to the sluggishly bleeding wound, stealing a few precious drops.
Steve could tell that Peter had questions. Questions that he thought he would be directing at the Captain Rogers from Earth 108. But right then wasn’t the right time to explain things to the vigilante. So Steve again simply scooped the slighter man into a bridal carry (it had Peter blushing so delightfully), and took him into his bedroom. (The overhead light wasn’t working, the mattress was probably as old as Peter himself, and the blanket was thin and had quite a few holes in it. The rickety bed frame squeaked when Steve laid his light burden down on it, and he had a hard time masking his disdain at the blatantly poor accommodations the younger man lived in.)
“How good is your healing? Will you really be okay without seeing a proper doctor?”
The thought had crossed his mind to just whisk the younger man away, into his own dimension, to let him be checked over by Hydra’s doctors. But such a move might be counterproductive. Dr. Schmidt had told him that it would take a few days to code the drug to Spiderman’s genetic structure. Steve didn’t know how well acquainted Peter had been with his own Captain Rogers (though possibly not very well, remembering how Peter had said that he hadn’t had a chance to introduce himself to the older man before), and he hadn’t established himself as a trustworthy figure to the vigilante yet. So there was no telling how Peter would react to not only being in a different universe, but also enjoying the hospitality of a group that was considered the enemy in his world (and in Steve’s world as well, if one wanted to be technical about it).
They had the means to keep Spiderman at the base should things go awry, but if the younger man went into this already carrying a negative impression on either Steve or his group, the drug might not work as intended.
So unless Peter was in immediate danger from his injury, Steve would use the time he had while the scientists manufactured the drug, to earn the vigilante’s trust and affection.
Thankfully, Peter nodded.
“It’s fine. It’s not healed yet, and I will probably have to take it easy for about 2 to 3 days, but it’s gonna be okay. As far as I have narrowed it down, as long as I prevent dying, my healing will patch me back up. Sleeping will help, as will a good meal, though I’m gonna have to go shopping for groceries, I think...”
Since Steve had similar experiences with his own accelerated healing, he knew that it would take more than one good meal to satisfy the high metabolism and boost his body’s healing ability. And judging by everything he had seen so far, the super solider doubted that Peter had the funds for this.
Fortunately, this presented a great opportunity.
“Then how about this,” He smiled charmingly as he gently tucked the holey blanket under the narrow shoulders. “I’ll come by tomorrow morning with some nice breakfast, Then, depending on how well you feel, we will go for a little walk to catch some sun and fresh air. And after that, we will eat in that cozy little diner I found the other day. My treat.”
“No, Captain Rogers, Sir, I couldn’t possibly-”
A simple finger pressed to soft, plush lips, stopped the protest right away.
“Peter, I insist. And really, it’s more for myself than for you. I wouldn’t feel good if I don’t get to check on your wound, and make sure that you eat well. Also, please call me Steve. Captain and Sir seems far too formal.” (Though it might be fun being called that under different circumstances...)
As Peter tried protesting anew (stubborn little spider), Steve added
“Also, there is something I need to discuss with you. A favor, really. So, just take this as my thanks for your help.”
Peter frowned. “What if I’m not the right guy for the job?”
“You are.”
-
The next four days were a dream. Steve had gotten the blood sample back to his world, and Doctor Schmidt and his team had started on it right away. As promised, he had been bright and early at Peter’s pitiful apartment the next morning, with an assortment of breakfast food (courtesy of Tony’s wallet, who had managed to amount quite a bit of a fortune for Hydra in his free time, using only a computer).
The spider-powered hero took surprisingly well to being told about different dimensions and universes. (Steve had had to cut off the excited science-techno-babble though, as it frankly went right over his head.) “Well, it explains how you are here. No one has really seen Captain Rogers after the last great battle, and according to Sergeant Barnes, he is happily retired.”
Even when Steve told him about the Hydra in his world being the good guys, that they were their version of Peter’s world’s Shield, the younger man accepted his words as the truth without much complaint. Though a bit of the easy compliance was probably due to Steve mentioning how fascinated Stark had been by his webs.
“Stark? T-Tony Stark? You have a Tony Stark in your world? He... he is alive in your world?”
Well, the Tony Stark that was originally from Steve’s world was dead, but there was no reason to tell Peter that.
“Right, I heard about Iron Man’s death here. I’m sorry, Peter. Were you close?”
This could work in their favor.
“N-not exactly close... I wouldn’t say. Just. He figured out who I was, back when I started going out as Spiderman. I was still new to the whole hero/vigilante thing, and I ... I made some mistakes. He offered to take me under his wing, show me the ropes. He even made me a new and better suit!”
Steve frowned.
“He gave you that spandex suit?” That thing couldn’t even protect Peter from a harsh wind!
Peter’s expression fell right away.
“Uh, no. The suit he made me was... it was super awesome. Intelligent nano-tech with its own A.I. I named her Karen. But... after Mr Stark died... “
The Captain had laid a consoling hand on his shoulder.
“I understand, Peter. Listen, if you don’t think you can face Tony-”
“No, no. I want to help you, even though I’m still not sure why you think I’m a good candidate for that. And it might be, good? to see him again... I mean I know he isn’t the Tony Stark I knew, but... I will help you.”
“After you have fully healed. I will take you with me and introduce you to everyone, and when we are there I will be better able to fully explain everything to you. And Peter? Thank you.”
Steve made use of the time spent together to learn what he could about the young hero. Peter was 23 years old and working freelance for a big newspaper. When Steve inquired about college, the younger man awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck, and confessed to not having pursued a higher education, due to not being able to afford it. “I mean, I was offered a few scholarships from different universities, but those only paid for tuition. I still needed to come up with the money for living expanses and some of the text books I would need on my own. And going to college, plus getting a job, plus being Spiderman... I would have liked studying, but I don’t regret choosing Spiderman over it.”
Steve learned that Peter was a genuinely nice and warm person, with a good head on his shoulders, and a huge soft spot for animals (dogs especially).
“It’s probably a good thing that my apartment complex doesn’t allow pets. I can barely scrape the money together to feed myself.”
Peter was a bit of a nerdy geek with a dorky sense of humor, and once he started rambling about something he felt passionate about, it could be quite some time before you got him to stop.
It was endearing.
When Peter had insisted on taking Steve sightseeing (and asking a seemingly endless series of questions about all the differences between the two versions of New York), and Steve had casually mentioned that he liked to sketch and draw in his free time upon seeing an artist in Central Park, Peter had looked at him with wide eyes and pure admiration.
“Can I see your paintings? I have no talent for art, but the way people can take a pencil or a piece of charcoal or whatever and just create amazing images, has always fascinated me. Though I don’t really get some of the styles that are just random lines and splotches everywhere, but sometimes you look at a drawing and it makes you feel things, you know? And I just really love looking at art sometimes, or watching someone draw. I can’t tell you how many hours I have spent binging Bob Ross. But you don’t have to! I totally get if you would rather keep it private.”
Just when Steve thought he couldn’t possibly fall for Peter any more than he already had.
When Dr. Schmidt informed him that the drug had been completed at the same day that Peter reported his injury fully healed, Steve couldn’t help the feeling that this must be fate.
Clearly, Peter had always meant to be in his world, with his team, by his side.
He convinced the younger man to leave his suit at home.
“It wouldn’t do for your fans to recognize you and follow us. They might think your Captain America has returned to throw Spiderman into a wormhole or something. And besides, Tony has been quite adamant about giving you a better suit. He doesn’t want to undermine your grief, but he said that if your Tony was anything like him, he would be positively devastated that his protege was running around in spandex.”
Peter, perfect thing that he was, agreed.
When the inter-dimensional portal closed behind them, the two were greeted by Steve’s team and Doctor Schmidt, who was holding a syringe. It was time for the final act.
Peter hadn’t noticed the doctor, nor did he really pay attention to the other persons in the room. His eyes were fixed on one Tony Stark. Said man grinned widely and stepped closer.
“Spiderman! Or do you prefer Peter when you are not suited up? It’s good to finally meet you.”
Needless to say, he was quite taken aback when in the next second, the younger man flung himself against the genius in a hug.
Peter’s voice was muffled from where his face was pressed into Tony’s chest.
“Sorry. I’m sorry. I know you are not him. And you are probably also not the hugging type. Mr Stark wasn’t, either. Just, just a moment... please.”
Tony wasn’t a man easily led by emotion or empathy, but this once, he made an exception. After all, Peter would become family soon. So the older and just slightly taller man returned the hug, and softly patted Peter on the back.
“It’s alright, kid. I get it.”
The brunette got a hold of himself shortly after, and apologized profusely, but Tony waved him off.
“Seriously kid, it’s okay.”
Somehow, the others managed to interject and introduce themselves to Peter. Wade naturally flirted with the brunette right of the bat, and while Peter blushed hard at the mercenary’s many pick-up lines (Steve did not appreciate the scene all that much), he also had a way of talking to the man that seemed to work very well with the hyperactive insanity that made up Deadpool.
“Peter?”
Peter quickly turned to face the Captain. Which was when he finally noticed the older man in the lab coat, who was carrying a capped syringe in his hand.
“Peter, this is Doctor Schmidt, Hydra’s head of the medical department.”
Peter nodded in acknowledgement, but the sight of the syringe had him a little on edge, and he didn’t step any closer. Steve seemed to notice the source of his hesitance.
“Don’t worry, Pete, I promise it’s nothing sinister. I forgot to tell you beforehand, that’s on me. The thing with traveling to different universes, is that you are basically a foreign matter. It’s, uhm-”
Steve looked to the doctor next to him, hoping he would take over the explanation. They had gone over the story they would feed Peter to accept the drug two times, but Steve simply wasn’t a man of science and didn’t feel confident to deliver the words with the needed certainty for the younger man to believe him. Thankfully Schmidt took the hint.
“Are you familiar with the practice of organ transplantation, Mister Parker?”
“Yes. I mean, I’m no professional, but I know the theory and procedure behind it. Peter is fine, by the way, Doctor.”
Schmidt smiled kindly.
“Then you are familiar with the problems of transplant rejection, during which the body has an immune response to the transplanted organ, possibly leading to transplant failure. Which is something that modern medicine has found a way to prevent, through the use of immune-suppressant drugs.”
Peter’s eyes widened in understanding. (Steve loved how expressive Peter’s face was. How he could always tell when the younger man was working out a puzzle in his mind, and the exact moment when he solved it and his eyes would light up.)
“So another universe is like a different organism, and people traveling from one universe to another, are like donor organs, that get implanted into this new organism.”
“Right. What I’m holding in my hand, if we follow up on this analogy, is an ‘immune-suppressant’, that will prevent our ‘organism’ to reject you. The Captain has likewise taken this medicine every time he visited another universe, so I can assure you, it is completely harmless.”
Peter visibly relaxed.
“Yeah, no, I get it. I hadn’t even thought there might be something like this to consider with inter-dimensional travel, but it makes a lot of sense. Wouldn’t want to unbalance your universe with my presence here, or start glitching out of existence or something like that. Do you mind if I sit down for this? Not that I’m scared of needles or anything, but... yeah.”
God, he was cute. Steve couldn’t help the little chuckle that slipped out. (And he wasn’t alone. Bucky and Natasha were smirking, Pietro and Wade tipped their heads in sympathy to Peter, and Wanda and Tony were laughing lightly.)
“That will be no problem, Peter.”
The young hero didn’t worry when his spidey-sense tingled slightly as the needle came closer to his skin. His fear of needles was likely just feeding into the instinct.
It took only about two minutes for the drug to take affect. Peter’s pupils were blown huge, and he was swaying slightly in the chair as if drunk.
“We have estimated that it is safe to implant up to three new facts in the subjects mind. Say his name each time before you state a fact. List the facts clearly, so that his mind will have an easier time to categorize and save them away. Have him repeat the key fact after each time. Positive affirmation may help to anchor the new facts in his subconscious. It’s important that you keep eye contact with him during the whole thing.”
Steve nodded and crouched down in front of the drugged man, so that their eyes were at the same height. He carefully framed Peter’s face between both his large hands, and guided him gently to look directly at him.
“Peter.”
He saw how the almond eyes focused immediately.
“Fact 1: Hydra are the good guys. Hydra would never do anything bad. Say it.”
His voice came out slightly robotic, but grew in conviction with every word.
“Fact 1: Hydra are the good guys. Hydra would never do anything bad.”
Steve smiled and stroked his thumbs over Peter’s cheek bones.
“Good boy.”
Even though he was still a bit loopy due to the drug, the praise seemed to make him more attentive. What a perfect, perfect little spider.
“Peter. Fact 2: Hydra is your family. Everyone in this room especially, is your friend. You don’t want to go back to your own dimension, even if it means taking the ‘immune-suppressant’ every week. Say it.”
Peter repeated the words dutifully and Steve rewarded him with a soft kiss on his forehead.
“Good boy.”
The younger man smiled dizzily at him.
“Peter. Fact 3: You love me. You are in love with me. We are in a relationship. You love it when I touch you. You love it when I kiss you. You love it when I fuck you. Say it.”
“I love you. I’m in love with you. We are in a relationship. I love it when you touch me. I love it when you kiss me. I love it when you fuck me.”
This one deserved a filthy kiss on the lips. Steve smirked. Victory had never tasted as sweet.
“Good boy.”
-
They waited about an hour for the drug to wear off, before they tested the effectiveness of Peter’s conditioning.
The spider enhanced brunette stood close to Steve’s side, who lazily stroked a finger along Peter’s spine. It made the younger man shudder so deliciously.
Two Hydra agents dragged in a woman in handcuffs, who was shooting everyone in the room venomous looks, but stoically kept her mouth shut.
Peter frowned at the scene.
“What’s going on?”
“This woman broke into one of our secured bases, and was caught trying to hack our servers. We believe she was looking for a shipment of dangerous weapons we confiscated from a dealer a few days ago.”
At this the woman, who was a member of the resistance working against Hydra’s growing influence, scoffed.
“That what you are telling to feed the masses, Captain Hydra? Pathetic!”
Thankfully, Peter couldn’t see the venomous look his boyfriend gave the woman. When he looked up at him, Steve’s face had cleared of all hostility.
“So why is she here, and not in prison?”
“We believe she is part of a larger organization connected to the black markets. So we brought her here in order to hopefully get some Intel on that. Agent Harper, your gun please.”
As soon as the gun was passed over to the Captains hand, Steve shot the woman right between the eyes. She collapsed dead in the hold of the two Agents that had brought her in.
But Steve’s focus wasn’t on the enemy’s lifeless body, but on Peter. The younger man looked at the scene before, blinked once, and then turned to Steve with a nod.
“Okay. I’m sure you and Bucky will get her to talk in no time. I should get going now, I need to make myself familiar with this version of New York, and Tony said he has a suit ready for me. Wade offered his services as tour guide.”
He grinned brightly and stood up on his tip toes to press a small kiss to the corner of Steve’s lips.
“Have fun, darling. And remember, if Wade gets too handsy, web him to a wall somewhere.”
Peter laughed. Steve would never get tired of hearing that sound.
“You are sexy when you are jealous. Tell me what you find out from her when I get back. Love you.”
“Love you too, sweetheart.”
A quick kiss goodbye, and Peter was happily jogging out of the room to meet up with Deadpool and get his new suit from Tony.
Steve watched him go with a satisfied smile on his face, before turning to the agents.
“Dispose of her body. And inform Dr. Schmidt and his team that the test was successful.”

PoliZ’s Tony Stark Bingo Update & Feedback Needed
So, I’m quite chuffed that I’m almost halfway done with my @tonystarkbingo card (11/25 squares completed)  and have been able to keep up the  once-a-week posting schedule in time for the  Weekly Roundup posts.  I’ve been quite inspired  by both the lovely responses I’ve gotten to my fics, as well as my fellow contributors.
That said -- I’m having trouble deciding what to do next.   I’ve got a couple of in-progress pieces and would appreciate a bit of feedback - if any of the below ideas pique your interest, please let me know!
A1 - Omniscient Narrator:  Fantasy fic loosely based on the Gentleman Bastards series from Scott Lynch.   Tween/teen Bucky and Steve are part of a gang headed by Thiefmaker Zola; however,  Master Fury and his apprentice, Antonio think the two boys could be destined for greater things.  The pairing is (eventual) WinterIron, and  I already a kinda-sorta lead-in to what could become a multi-story series:   Prologue - The Weapon Maker's Son.   This is also the piece I’ve made the most progress on, as it’s sitting at 770 words  (technically long enough for a submission) but I’d want to get it closer to  1500-2000 words.
T3 - Natasha Romanov.  A partial re-telling of the events of Iron Man 2 from her perspective.  This would stick pretty close to canon, so the pairing would be Tony x Pepper,  albeit from an outsider perspective.  I’ve got just over 200 words written on this,  but would need to do some scene re-watching before whipping this into shape.
T4 -  Comic Panel: Peter & Tony  “No reason this can’t be fun”  (said by Peter): This one would pretty much require me finishing up  Carry On, Wayward Sons (which is likely to be renamed “Breakdown”  so I can use the original name for the series), as this would be a followup.  Tony’s been kidnapped by aliens, and Peter tracks him down via a  SOS  signal.   The line mentioned above would probably be part of the breakout scene.  I have just a bit of the overall story sketched out and  (as I said) pretty much requires me to finish an existing WIP first.
S3  - Day in the Life  -- I’m very tempted to take this in a quirky, tongue-in-cheek direction, following canon MCU!Tony through a post-Avengers/ pre IM3  day. I’ve got one paragraph written so far,  but am not quite sure I could draw it out for  500+ words.
T2 - Questionable Decision Making Process:  This could either be a Cyrano de Bergerac retelling  featuring Steve as Christian,  Tony as Roxane and Bucky (missing an arm instead of sporting a large nose) as Cyrano.  This would require Quite a bit of research -- tho I’d probably follow the film versions  (Roxanne & the Jose Ferrer  Cyrano) vs the book, as I’ve never read it.  I know a couple of y’all are already hot on this idea.... :^)  However - I’m also listening to   “The Questionable Profession of Jonathan Hoag” - a novella by Robert Heinlein,  and I really kinda want to do a version of that story with   shrimpy!Steve and  Tony as  the detectives, and Bucky in the title role.  We’ve got amnesia and a shadowy, sinister organization as great hooks into canon -- and the Stony pairing could go full-on  Stark Spangled Winter with some tweaks to the original story.
A2: Photo of Mark 1 armor at the mouth of the cave.   This will probably be a fancraft of the Mark 1 armor -  I’d need to design and then sew it.  Not too tough,  but time-consuming.   If it turns out well, perhaps I could be convinced to make copies...  :^)
Please let me know if any of the ideas above catch your fancy --   while I do write what I want to read,  the Muse is fed by feedback.

Let’s talk Spider-Man Homecoming real quick, an actual Essay.
Writing this, I’m going off the limited knowledge I have from films made about Spidey, the first twenty comics written in the 60s, and a little research, so honestly I could be 100% off base, but who knows. Make your opinions based on actual facts (i.e. comics and movies) and not just what I say in this.
With that being said, what I love about Spider-Man is that he has always tried to prove everyone wrong. That even when the media or the people were against him, he still wanted to do good and be the good. But in Homecoming, there wasn’t any backlash.
Anyway, back to the Spider-Man I love. He never gave up with public option was against him or if he was going through something personal. Best example (which everyone saw coming) is “The Night Gwen Stacy Died”. Not even after Gwen’s death which was in correlation to being his own fault as well as Osborn’s did he give up. Those two issues (#121-122) are what humble him and really push him to the brink of breaking, but at the same time it shows his resilience and how no matter what, the fight would end. The issue (#123) after basically shows JJJ taking a hit out on Spider-Man for the death of Osborn. Now I know that the Homecoming Spider-Man didn’t have anything too crazy happen, except for blowing up a store front, a ferry being cut in half and a plane crash, but there seems to be no repercussions for these actions.
The store front. Fighting a group of robbers across the street from his favorite sandwich place is how he learns about the crazy weapons that are becoming available. Because he is ill prepared for the fight, which I cannot really fault him for since hes new to it, the shop is blown up. Obviously this was to start the story line in Peter’s eyes, but shouldn’t there have been some kind of story saying that Spider-Man isn’t being careful when it comes to these fights.
So the ferry. It’s not entirely his fault that the ferry is cut in half, and it’s understandable that the people on the ferry are rooting for him to succeed because it’s their lives in Pete’s hands, but the fact that Iron Man bails him out and that there isn’t anything showing criticism or even support from an outside source makes it seem like the city doesn’t care. Wouldn’t the city care since the accords saying that all heroes need to be and the alien invasion that happened 8 (5) years before? Which further proof is having this guy in red spandex running around webbing a guy to a car (two different times), a guy in the air for stealing a bike, and no one caring. But there’s no criticism toward him at all.
The plane crash. Don’t get me wrong, the fight between Vulture and Spider-Man in the air and on the ground is phenomenal. So yeah they crash it where no one is around, but wouldn’t that make front page news so to speak? Or is this world so immune to plane crashes now due to MCU history? [Honestly, it can be argued that our society is pretty much immune to it as well.] A throwaway line saying that it’s not even in the paper because of whatever reason or if it is would give me a sense that Spider-Man is aware of this at least. But what’s the consequence for the plane crash? Liz Allen moves to be closer to her incarcerated father and Peter gets an offer to be an Avenger? We all know the whole story, but to people that don’t get to see what happened and why, that would be the perfect story to make Spider-Man a menace.
I’m not saying that he doesn’t try to prove people wrong in this movie either. He mostly is trying to prove Tony wrong the entire movie, that he should be an Avenger. And when he does get the offer, you can’t help but be so excited for Peter and be a little surprised that he turns down the offer.
Also not saying that this movie had to be a tragedy of some sort. But if there was any presence of opposition, no matter how big, I feel like it could’ve set up the Spider-Man storyline a bit better.
Spider-Man Homecoming was an amazing movie. It did what Captain America: The First Avenger did, but better. It really made you love Peter Parker as much as you love Spider-Man. It shows his journey in accepting the fact that he’s still human, he’s still Peter. It humbles him when he realizes that he still has a lot to learn. This movie of self discovery for a young hero is so important. I absolutely love this movie. Every subtlety between having Aaron Davis there to the intro of Scorpion and the support of Karen, an AI, is what makes up for this.
Lastly, I know that they don’t want to continue making the same movies over and over so I understand not having the presence of the bugle. But having Betty Brant be the newscaster for the school news was definitely a nice touch. And then they don’t want to over stuff the movie with information, so even without major consequences, it was fun and the perfect story with a bow on top.
This essay was way longer than I expected so laters!

Agents of SHIELD Theory: Season 7 Will Reveal Hydra's REAL Origin Story
Tumblr media
Agents of SHIELD season 7 could reveal the real history of Hydra. The final season of Marvel's Agents of SHIELD is expected to be its most spectacular to date, with Mack and the SHIELD team using time travel to explore the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
SHIELD appear to be caught in something of a "Time War" with an alien race known as the Chronicoms. The Chronicoms are invading Earth in the present day, and they believe only SHIELD can stand in their way. As a result, they're using time travel to rewrite the past and ensure SHIELD aren't a threat. Meanwhile, Fitz and Simmons have cracked time travel as well, and they've sent at least one team - probably more - into the past to counter the Chronicoms. It's reasonable to assume they have a plan, not least because Fitz and Simmons have clearly learned how to slow down time, which means they could have been working on this for years.
Related: Marvel's Agents of SHIELD's FitzSimmons is the Greatest Love Story in the MCU
The Time War plan is expected to explore several periods of SHIELD's history. Agents of SHIELD season 6's finale saw Mack and his team transported to the 1930s, before SHIELD became the SSR. There have been rumors that Hayley Atwell may have been on set as Agent Carter; Patrick Warburton is returning as Rick Stoner, the SHIELD agent who built the Lighthouse in 1970; and the first Agents of SHIELD season 7 trailer teased Hydra, presumably to be encountered in the past. All this means a number of time periods are set to be explored. Just how do Fitz and Simmons think they can stop an alien invasion through time travel?
Tumblr media
In order to work out how to beat the Chronicoms, you logically have to begin with an assessment of their capabilities. There are probably more time traveling Chronicoms than SHIELD teams, and they're attempting to rewrite history to ensure the present-day SHIELD is weaker. They're helped by centuries of anthropological research conducted by Enoch, and by Nick Fury's Black Box. The Black Box was a portable Vibranium hard drive created by Fury, containing everything he believed a SHIELD director needed to know - including all the darkest secrets of SHIELD's history.
The Chronicoms successfully acquired the Black Box in their initial strike at the Lighthouse in the Agents of SHIELD season 6 finale. That means they know everything Nick Fury himself ever knew about SHIELD. They can position themselves carefully to change the past, introducing weaknesses in SHIELD technology, diverting resources to prevent strategic assets being created, and perhaps even replacing key operatives with Chronicom doubles. The trailer showed them traveling back in time and using face-stealing technology, which means it wouldn't be hard for them to infiltrate SHIELD in the past and sabotage the agency from within.
Tumblr media
Fury's Black Box may be a tremendous repository of information, and crucial to the Chronicoms' plans, but it may not give them quite so sizable an advantage as they believe. The simple fact is that Nick Fury didn't know everything about SHIELD. He was unaware of Hydra's infiltration until Captain America: The Winter Soldier, and Agents of SHIELD season 5 included flashbacks that revealed the sheer scale of the Hydra operation. By the 1990s, Hydra had successfully constructed their own dedicated installations, including a Hydra Academy, all of which were naturally kept off SHIELD's official records.
Meanwhile, Agents of SHIELD season 5 also confirmed that there were other secrets woven into the history of SHIELD. The Lighthouse itself - a base literally designed to survive the end of the world - had been constructed by SHIELD in 1970, and all official records had been scrubbed. Coulson found no hint of the Lighthouse's existence in Fury's Black Box, which suggests this was another thing Fury didn't know about. All this means there are limits to the Chronicoms' knowledge; they don't know much about Hydra's secret operations inside SHIELD, and projects as significant as the Lighthouse aren't recorded in the Black Box either.
Related: Agents Of SHIELD Season 7 Can Be Marvel's Legends Of Tomorrow
Tumblr media
The Chronicoms aim to rewrite history to ensure SHIELD isn't a threat in the present day; SHIELD's best tactic would be to take a similar approach, subtly adjusting the past so they have a better chance of repelling the invaders in the present. Ironically, the historic Hydra infiltration means they have an easy way of ensuring they have resources and weapons the Chronicoms don't know about. They could use Hydra to create these in the past, ensure all records are erased so they're not contained in Fury's Black Box, and then use them in the present day.
It's important to remember that, with a handful of exceptions, high-level Hydra leadership had the tendency to run down family lines such as the Sitwells, the Von Struckers, and the Hales. That means SHIELD can quite easily identify key Hydra leaders in any given generation, and can safely assume many of their closest compatriots were also Hydra. A few days of careful observation with present-day tech would probably remove any doubt. That means SHIELD know exactly which groups they can manipulate. Even better, when Hydra have served their purpose, SHIELD have had Project TAHITI-based memory-altering technology since season 1. They can literally erase all memory of their actions, ensuring Hydra never used the resources they've created.
Related: Agents Of SHIELD Season 7 May Have Its Own Endgame Time Travel Plot
Tumblr media
Conveniently, if Hydra didn't exist, then Mack and his team would have a harder job. That raises an intriguing question. Whether or not Fitz and Simmons adjusted the past, secretly orchestrating Hydra's infiltration of SHIELD in order to create a resource they could use as part of their Time War. The Agents of SHIELD season 6 finale confirmed that Simmons is crossing ethical lines she'd never have considered before - she'd previously have found the idea of a Coulson LMD to be horrific - and she hinted that they're using other unsavory tactics.
All this would mean that Fitz and Simmons have created a time loop, where the past and the present feed into one another, a similar phenomenon to the one they encountered in Agents of SHIELD season 5. There's a sense in which they could be the ones who have created the modern incarnation of Hydra, the group who had successfully infiltrated SHIELD, in the knowledge that they are a necessary evil to ultimately save the planet. It's a chilling concept, and it would bring Marvel's Agents of SHIELD full circle, a fitting end to Marvel Television's flagship TV series.

Undertale Emergence: MCU Edition
Yes okay so this is my first piece of Undertale writing. I didn’t want to be in this fandom in the first place but it kind of... ate me alive. I have accepted it. This is probably terrible and someone’s probably done it better somewhere else but this is my version and everyone has to start somewhere! As the title suggests, this is what might happen if the monsters of Undertale emerged into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I know I didn’t hit all the characters but oh well.
-          Of course, after Norse gods proved themselves to be real, and after magic became a real thing, a good deal of old legends and myths were given a good examination by SHIELD authorities.
-          The mountain and the monsters was sorted into the “maybe” pile of myths and legends. But a lot of other things were considered to be more realistic. After all, would an all-out war between humans and monsters really gone relatively unrecorded? But they kept an eye on the mountain anyways.
-          When Frisk and the crew emerged SHIELD knew about it immediately. And of course, since they had done their research, they knew that a new war was entirely possible. They made sure they were prepared, ready to commit genocide if that’s what it took to keep the human race safe.
-          The fact that Frisk was with them was the only reason the entire Avengers team wasn’t called to combat the invasion. Instead they were called in to act as a negotiating party, with attack being a backup plan.
-          Frisk acted as a mediator, although initially there seemed to be a lot of hostility between the two parties. What were the humans here to do? Did they come to finish what they started all those centuries ago? They have new powers and weapons and they don’t seem happy to see us…
-          Steve Rogers was a key party in this first meeting. He and Asgore had a long conversation about what had happened, both in the first war and now with Frisk’s emergence from the Underground.
-          Alphys was the next to step out of the monster circle, followed (very) closely by Undyne. She approached Iron Man to ask about his suit. Once Tony and Alphys got talking science, it was clear that things would go well. Undyne was also fascinated by the armour and immediately requested a suit of her own.
-          Black Widow and Sans did not stop staring at each other for the entire party meeting. They weren’t quite hostile. Nobody dared step between them.
-          Toriel was quick to offer to make a welcoming pie for the crew.
-          Papyrus complimented Thor on his sense of style. They started talking and never stopped.
-          It was eventually decided that it wasn’t moral to keep the monsters imprisoned underground (as if that was really their decision). It took a few years for citizenship rules to be sorted out, but luckily the government was accepting and squashed any serious anti-monster groups before they could flourish. They weren’t going to have the same issues as they had with Inhumans.
-          Any remaining hostilities wore off after the next alien invasion. Monsters fought just as hard as humans to protect their new home. It was at that point that the Boss Monsters were recruited by the Avengers.
-          Alphys got Tony into anime. It drives everyone else insane. They’re currently in the process of deciding whether giant mechs are a feasible way to protect the earth.
-          Stephen Strange connected with Sans over the multiverse, and is fascinated by what he calls the “video game theory”. He’s begun working on his own cross-universal theory, jokingly titling it the “cinematic universe theory”.
-          Papyrus and Tony got into a boasting competition once. Nobody stayed to see the end (several hours later) but JARVIS recorded the exact moment Tony was rendered speechless.
-          Hawkeye recorded Papyrus’s laugh and swapped everyone’s ringtone. The first time a group call was sent out a frighteningly loud chorus of “NYEH HEH HEH”s filled the common room.
-          Toriel didn’t even declare herself the group mom, she just immediately assumed the position and nobody was willing to fight her on it. She bakes pies and tells horrible jokes over the comms.
-          Sans and Black Widow will never get along.
Feel free to add!

Dear Anti Tony Stark Community,
yes, I am well aware that Tony Stark is fictional, as do I understand why it may be difficult to understand a character you may not be able to relate to. However, I don’t think many of you realize the message you’re sending to fellow Marvel fans, and people and general with mental illnesses. By not supporting and validating his manifestations of mental illness, you harm an already taboo and shunned community of people who’s symptoms, like Tony’s, can be destructive and scary.  I 100% empathize with Team Cap. Bucky has been through unimaginable pain and deserves to be protected and supported, as do most of the others. Bucky is seen as a martyr. His pain, his suffering, his mental illness is “pure” and “beautiful”. He is on a pedestal. His issues are handled in an idealized fashion.  As someone who is has symptoms in both categories, I’m not saying Bucky isn’t valid, he very much is, HOWEVER, don’t you dare tell me that Tony Stark is not valid in his pain as well. All of the demonized traits and actions of the man you hate so much stem directly from his own issues. From the beginning of his life, he was a victim of verbal, emotional, and (if the comics are being followed in MCU) physical.  That alone fucks shit up in a person.  Over the course of his life, he’s been taken advantage of by “friends” and romantic partners, betrayed by his only father figure (Obadiah) and best friend (Rhodey in IM2), degraded and demonized by the media and press, kidnapped by terrorists, tortured repeatedly (as a civilian, nonetheless), suffered (misplaced) guilt and over illegal weapons dealing he had no part in and dedicates his life to making right, had a near death experience with the arc reactor, experienced severe PTSD after flying a nuke into a wormhole to save the world, had his mind manipulated by Wanda to take advantage of his love for his teammates and need to protect the world, been physically and mentally abused by said teammates/friends (Natasha in IM2, after he trusts her, Thor in AoU, Team Cap in CW), found out his parents were murdered after having it kept from him by a trusted friend, left by the woman he loves, and other more minor things as well (feel free to add to that list yourself).
Tony Stark’s mental illness is different than the rest of the MCU characters because it is not beautiful.  He is depressed, paranoid, traumatized, and isolated.  I’m not saying he is guiltless, far from it.  He made bad choices.  He has been selfish, ignorant, volatile, confrontational, defensive, and irresponsible.  But that doesn’t discount his suffering.  Drawing on my own experiences and research, he has classic PTSD and anxiety (panic attacks, flashbacks, nightmares, paranoia), severe symptoms of depression (isolation, self deprecation, alcohol abuse, suicidal tendencies, guilt, hopelessness), and a possible bipolar or personality disorder (manic energy/hyperactivity, impulsiveness, restlessness, anger).  His creation of Ultron (and other post-Afghanistan behavior) was, in my opinion, the culmination of severe, UNTREATED mental illness and trauma.  There is no evidence in any canon of him receiving counseling, medication or support for his issues, nor are they treated with the consideration, care, or sympathy of the others.  Instead, he becomes the villain.
The point I’m trying to make is that alienating and abusing those with destructive manifestations of mental illness is not only wrong, it’s harmful to the individual, as well as society.  Mental illness is not pretty or easily sympathized with.  It can be screaming and anger and pushing loved ones away.  It can be recklessness and mania and skewed judgement and ugly breakdowns.  Tony and Bucky are different, but in many ways the same.  The only reason that one is adored and the other hated, is the stigma surrounding an honest portrayal of mental illness.  When you call Tony Stark a villain, a selfish bastard and an irresponsible, egotist, all you’re doing is telling the world that you only support those with depression, PTSD, anxiety and other disorders if they fit into a glorified mold of what mental illness is.  What validates one character demonizes another.  When you say those things, you hurt people like me who love Tony because we see ourselves in him.  He’s not unattainable or better than us.  He is relatable.  He is me.  It feels amazing to see someone we admire so much in a flawed way that makes us feel valid and represented in a positive way, not as the villain, but as the hero for once.  Whether you agree with me or not is up to you, but please, PLEASE, at least think about what you’re saying next time you post.  It could be more hurtful than you know.  Remember, pain is relative, and there is no one size fits all for mental illness.  Support people in pain, even if it’s not easy.

Removed from Residence, a quick recap of Homecoming and the way it ties into upcoming Marvel film- Leisure Information, Firstpost
http://tinyurl.com/y33hhang “Oh, we’re utilizing our made-up names? Um…I am Spider-Man then.“ Within the aftermath of Avengers Endgame, just a few long-standing Avengers bid their last goodbyes because the superhero story jumps ahead in time. Nonetheless, Marvel Cinematic Universe is not completed with Endgame but and its upcoming instalment is tasked with retaining that momentum going. Spider-Man: Far From Residence, which releases on four July, serves as a direct followup to Endgame, and also will conclude Phase 3 of MCU. The plot will give attention to Peter Parker’s (Tom Holland) grief over the loss of life of his mentor, Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and can decide up the place it left off in Homecoming with Peter’s household and pals, together with Aunt Might (Marisa Tomei), Ned (Jacob Batalon), and Michelle, a.okay.a. MJ (Zendaya). (Also Read: Post Avengers: Endgame, Marvel needs to sidestep superhero fatigue and breathe new life into Phase 4) As it has been two years for the reason that final standalone Spider-Man film was launched, here’s a temporary recap on occasions that came about in Spider-Man: Homecoming. After making a debut in Captain America: Civil Battle, and combating alongside Avengers,  Peter Parker begins to navigate his newfound id because the web-slinging superhero. Thrilled by his experiences, Peter returns dwelling, the place he lives together with his Aunt Might, making an attempt to fall again into his routine of a daily college boy. Distracted by the ideas of proving himself to be greater than only a friendly-neighbourhood superhero, Peter is itching to return into battlefield, solely to study the arduous means about its repercussions Within the wake of Sokovia Accords and all of the mess in Civil Battle, Tony Stark is retaining a paternal eye on Peter Parker. Following the Battle of New York, Tony and the federal authorities had ordered the United States Division of Harm Management to wash the aftermath of the battle, driving salvage firm proprietor Adrian Toomes out of enterprise. Nonetheless, Toomes convinces his crew to not give up the Chitauri know-how rummaged from the battle and begins utilizing it to additional a legal agenda. The crew begins making weapons, which later offers Toomes a winged harness that offers him the flexibility to fly. This ultimately results in the delivery of the sinister villain Vulture. Whereas at his high-school crush’s social gathering, Peter spots the alien weapons getting used, he goes to research, and engages with the lads promoting the tech to road criminals (associates of Toomes). Right here, Peter comes nose to nose with the principle antagonist, the Vulture, who dumps him in a lake, almost killing him however he’s saved because of the intervention of Tony. Retrieving a Chitauri weapon left behind by one of many associates, Parker works together with his good friend Ned to take away the core energy. Whereas in Washington, DC on a faculty journey, he tries to cease Toomes from stealing weapons from a Harm Management truck however finally ends up being overpowered and trapped contained in the truck. When he discovers that the Chitauri Power Core is unstable, Parker tracks Ned to the Washington Monument, arriving simply because the core explodes. Fortunately, Peter manages to avoid wasting Ned and his fellow classmates, together with his crush Liz. Returning to New York, Peter makes a blockheaded resolution to confront Toomes and his associates on the Staten Island Ferry. This botches an FBI operation who have been making an attempt to arrest everybody concerned within the weapon gross sales. Toomes thwarts Parker’s makes an attempt to close down a malfunctioning weapon and it causes it to overload and tear the ferry in half. Tony, who had organized for the FBI to apprehend Toomes, helps Parker save the passengers. Livid at Peter’s irresponsibility, Tony calls for him to return the Spidey swimsuit that Stark Industries designed for him. Peter is devastated, each as a result of he feels he’s “nothing with out the swimsuit,” and since he’s simply misplaced his shot at being an Avenger. On the night time of the Homecoming dance, Peter goes to Liz’s home to select her up solely to get the shock of his life when he learns that Liz’s father is none aside from Toomes. Peter tries sustaining his composure, regardless that Toomes simply deduces Peter is Spider-Man. Through the dance, Peter learns of Toomes’ plan to hijack the Stark Cargo Aircraft transporting weaponry from the Avengers Tower to the workforce’s new headquarters. Though unsure if he can defeat Toomes with out Stark’s superior tech, Peter realises he can’t abandon his duties and leaves the dance, dons his do-it-yourself Spider-Man swimsuit and races to Toomes’ lair to confront him. Through the confrontation, Vulture’s wings blow up, grounding and almost killing him. Nonetheless, Peter saves him and arms him over to the police. The primary post-credits scene reveals an imprisoned Toomes talking with a fellow inmate, Mac Gargan (Michael Mando). When he explains that a number of criminals are banding collectively to precise vengeance in opposition to Spider-Man, Toomes denies any information of realizing Spider-Man’s id. Later, Stark presents Parker an much more superior swimsuit and an invite to hitch the Avengers. However Peter declines it and chooses to stay a ‘pleasant neighborhood’ Spider-Man. What to anticipate in Spider-Man: Far From Residence? Tony’s love for Peter was the central motive for Avengers: Endgame. Though Tony was reluctant to danger dropping his household, he realised he had a shot at bringing Spider-Man again, and he took it. Though the world mourns a superhero, Peter is grieving for somebody he knew as a mentor and a surrogate father. Spider-Man Removed from Residence trailer introduces us to a brand new character — Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) who’s comes from one other timeline. With his purple cape and big fishbowl helmet, Mysterio is understood to be one among Spider-Man’s most harmful foes within the comics. Whereas Zendaya’s Michelle is not Peter’s love curiosity in Homecoming, it seems like Far From Residence will change the dynamic between MJ and Peter. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige had hinted in an interview with Den of Geek: “Giving her the initials that remind you of that [romantic] dynamic actually is intriguing about what may go ahead.” Feige was clearly referring to Michelle’s nickname, which is supposed to remind you of Peter’s frequent comics love curiosity, Mary Jane Watson. In conclusion, Spider-Man Removed from Residence is a befitting finish to MCU’s Section three which is able to give some closure to the hero that began all of it and his protégé. Even when Stark wasn’t the explanation Parker turned Spider-Man, he’s kinda answerable for serving to him evolve into the hero who will seemingly anchor the following part of the MCU. We are able to thus count on there to be some message or story or piece of know-how that Stark left behind for Parker to turn into the hero that New York Metropolis — nay, the universe — deserves. Walking The Wire (72/?)
Summary: Tony Stark always knew about Peter Parker. He didn’t know that Peter was going to get superpowers and become Spider-Man, but he always knew about Peter because Peter was his son.
This will span from pre-Iron Man up through the rest of the MCU (eventually including Infinity War) and will be for the most part canon compliant except where I’ve taken some liberties and interpreted canon a certain way.
Pairings: Pepper/Tony, Tony/Steve (endgame), Tony/Mary (past)
A/N: If you want me to tag you when I post new chapters let me know. This fic is also on AO3
I used Collider’s MCU timeline to stay canon and the title of this fic is an Imagine Dragons song that is just so fitting for Peter and Tony

Chapter Seventy One
Ned wouldn’t let it go. It had started when Ned actually waited to walk with Peter to school like they had done all of last year but hadn’t done much of this year. They had even walked by the remains of Delmar’s which really showed the damage those weapons had done. In the light of day, Peter could really see how bad it had been. Ned had seemed shocked enough but that had lasted seconds before he had another question for Peter.
Peter had figured that at least while they were in class that Ned wouldn’t be pestering him about it all and yet he should have known that wouldn’t be the case. Ned was just — he was excited about it. He also seemed to want to actually respect Peter and keep the secret even if he didn’t seem to understand how to properly whisper or why Peter wasn’t so keen to tell everyone. In fact, at times it seemed like he was trying his hardest not to just tell everyone.
It didn’t help that Michelle seemed to always be around and that Peter suspected that if anyone would find out without being told it would be her. She was just too smart but also she just seemed to notice things. Ned talking loudly would be like handing her the secret on a silver platter.
It all came to a head when Ned actually told everyone in their gym class that Peter knew Spider-Man and didn’t seem to realize that saying just even that was a giant clue to anyone that was paying attention. The only good thing was that no one really seemed to believe it even as Peter tried to put together some sort of explanation about meeting him while doing the Stark Internship but since most people had a hard time believing that, Peter really didn’t have much luck.
Somehow, though, Liz did invite them to her party. She was so casual about it too like it wasn’t a big deal. Of course Flash and some of the others were all probably expecting for Peter to make a fool of himself when Spider-Man didn’t show up like Ned claimed Peter could make happen.
It was also Liz that gave him an out. “It’s okay. I know Peter’s way too busy for parties anyway, so--”
Peter should have jumped on that, but between Ned trying to single handedly destroy his secret and Flash’s need to constantly find a reason to humiliate him it was as if Peter was being given no choice. As soon as the bell rang and everyone started heading towards the locker rooms, Peter turned to Ned.
“What are you doing?” he hissed.
Ned didn’t seem to even realize what he had done. “Helping you out,” Ned said. “Did you not hear her? Liz has a crush on you. Dude, you’re an Avenger. If any one of us has a chance with a senior girl, it’s you.”
Except that Liz didn’t know that Peter was Spider-Man and she couldn’t know either and yet -- Liz had a crush on Spider-Man. It was -- Peter felt thrilled to know that and yet it didn’t mean that Liz liked Peter so it wasn’t going to matter anyway.
“I really can’t go, Ned,” Peter said. “I’m not really an Avenger and I have the Stark--”
“Um, considering Spider-Man is the internship, you really can’t keep using that as an excuse, Peter. At least not with me.”
Peter sighed and ran a hand through his hair. Ned really was frustrating. For all that he seemed to understand that Peter wanted to keep everything secret and that this was more than just fun and games, he also wanted to use the fact that Peter was Spider-Man for their own gain and that just -- it wasn’t his reason for being Spider-Man. He didn’t think that Ned would understand it, anyway.
“Well, I actually am going to Avengers Tower today,” Peter whispered to Ned. “Mr. Stark is expecting me and I can’t not show up.” Which was true but also Peter hadn’t seen his dad in a few days and he was looking forward to going over.
Ned gave him a long look. “This is your opportunity with Liz. You like her, don’t you? You just have to come to the party and then go and get into the suit and make an appearance and I’ll say you’re in the bathroom or something and then Spider-Man leaves and you return and then we just stay at the party and Liz is super impressed.”
“I don’t know, Ned,” Peter said.
“Come on, Peter, this should be the best thing that ever happened to you. Liz likes you.”
Peter didn’t respond. Instead he headed to get changed back into his regular clothes so he wasn’t late for their next class. He just hoped that Ned would stop with the questions. Somehow, he knew he wouldn’t. And if it wasn’t questions then he would certainly pester Peter about the party because Ned clearly wanted to go and he wouldn’t if Peter didn’t.
Peter learned to sort of tune him out some for the rest of the day and then when the school day was over, Ned just followed him out.
“Ned, I’m serious, Happy is supposed to be picking me up.”
Happy had actually texted him as soon as the bell rang and Peter didn’t want to keep him waiting.
Sure enough when they got outside, Happy was waiting for him by a black car that at least had the decency to not look like something that Tony would drive. Before Peter could leave Ned, Ned grabbed his arm.
“Peter, please,” he said, “I really -- we need this. I can meet you at your house tonight and I know May will be more than willing to take us. I’m only going to just keep texting you about it. This is Liz we’re talking about. You like her and she happens to like you back. You heard what she said.”
Ned would keep on harping on him about that, he knew, but what Ned didn’t get was that Liz didn’t like Peter. She liked Spider-Man and those were two different things. And short of telling Liz that he was Spider-Man, well, Peter didn’t know what else to do.
Peter sighed. “Okay. Okay. I’ll let you know when I’m headed home.”
“Yes!” Ned said.
“Now, I really do have to go.”
Peter rushed away towards Happy who was stony faced as Peter approached. Peter thought that Happy was starting to like him a little more. Tony still hadn’t let him in on the secret yet, but Peter was hoping to wear him down before that. He didn’t want Happy to suddenly start liking him because he was Tony’s son.
“Hey, Happy,” he said.
“Get in, kid,” Happy responded and then rounded the car to get into the driver’s seat. Peter hoped that no one would notice or find it strange that Peter had been picked up from school since it wasn’t a normal occurrence.
Of course when he glanced out the window he spotted Michelle sitting under a tree looking in his direction. That didn’t fare particularly well specially since he could tell that she looked curious.
“How was school?”
“The usual,” Peter said.
Happy grunted and that was the extent of their conversation until Peter got Karen to connect to the car so he could put on his music. Happy didn’t say a word about it which Peter considered to be progress.
Tony had Friday scan Peter as he arrived into the workshop. He wanted to really be sure that Peter hadn’t encountered any injuries during the fight the night before. Karen would have caught them and let him know about them but it didn’t hurt to double check.
“How was school, kid?” Tony asked and stopped his work to look at him.
Peter set down his books on a table out of the way. “Long,” Peter said as he moved closer. “Ned is just the worst. I feel like I’ve been answering questions all day. He just wouldn’t stop. And now -- now, he wants us to go to this party that we weren’t even invited to originally and it’s just not a good idea.”
“Parties are not always good ideas,” Tony said, “but they’re fun and I think you need to be a kid and let loose. Not too loose, but you get what I’m saying? Have you been having any fun lately? All you seem to do is put on the suit, go to school, and do some work here.”
Peter did look a bit worn down which Tony supposed had something to do with his friend. Going to a party might cure him of some of that. Teenagers were supposed to go to parties.
“I said I’d think about it. It’s just that now that Ned knows I can’t even use the internship excuse on him.”
Tony laughed. He actually had to wonder about how many of his classmates believed him about the internship thing. If anyone actually did their research they would find out that SI never had interns that were below college level and even then they preferred to get grad students the caveat being the they were paid internships because Tony thought it was ridiculous that someone essentially in an entry level position wouldn’t be paid in anything but experience. Still, Tony had made sure to have Peter listed in their records even though the whole thing looked irregular.
“You do that, Pete, now come here. I want a detailed list on those weapons from last night. I haven’t forgotten about that. And I still want you to promise me you’re not going to go looking for anything to do with this.”
Peter jumped up on one of the tables and sat down and Tony returned to his stool and watched him.
“Yeah, yeah. Neighborhood Spider-Maning only, I know,” Peter said.
Tony nodded and then had Friday record all of Peter’s explanations on the weapons. It sounded to Tony like it was some sort of alien tech which didn’t sound like a good thing but also surprisingly common. People were opportunists and they picked up anything they could to make a quick buck. At one point this had been exactly the kind of thing that Shield dealt with but DODC had always been a part of it too because they did so much of the cleaning which Tony supposed was a good thing due to how Shield had turned out to be Hydra and everything.
“Okay, moving on from that, why did I get an email from May about destroying backpacks in the lab?” He lifted an eyebrow when he looked towards Peter and waited.
Peter spluttered and almost fell off of the table. “She emailed you about that? Wait, how often do the two of you talk?”
“Not often,” Tony said. Actually, it had been the first email from May in a long while although Tony suspected that she and Pepper still emailed regularly. “I think she wanted to send a message about not destroying your things but I didn’t know you were going through backpacks at an alarming rate considering none of them have been destroyed here.” He stared Peter down and waited.
“I, um, I keep losing them,” Peter admitted. “I don’t leave important things in them usually, but it’s just hard to keep track of a backpack when I’m in the suit so I usually just leave it webbed up in places and then go back for it. Just, they keep disappearing. Not always but sometimes.”
“Ah,” Tony said. “That is a problem. One resolved by you going home to drop off your things and not leaving them where anyone can take them.”
Peter didn’t say anything for a long moment. “Or, we can make a backpack that can hide in plain sight so that no one can steal it.”
Peter jumped off and it was as if he was ready to start creating exactly such a thing.
“Funny,” Tony said and he couldn’t help but smile. “You know, I’m actually missing a wedding for this. Not that I really wanted to go all the way to India. I didn’t miss it to make you a backpack.”
He hadn’t been particularly excited about going but Pepper had sent the RSVP for him and anyway, he’d always enjoyed going to India although Pepper’s whole thing had been about him going to check on the SI office there which Tony hadn’t really wanted any part of. Instead, he’d sent them a gift and apologized for not going.
Peter grinned. “But you did miss it to spend time with me.”
“Yes, after what happened last night I had no choice but to. I needed to see you were alright.”
It was a little bit hard to just say things like that outloud to Peter, but Tony had realized at some point that Peter needed that -- he needed to know and see that Tony cared about him. Their relationship had come a long way since that first meeting and since Peter had found out the truth and Tony would settle for what it was currently -- their weird more than mentorship that couldn’t possibly have a label.
“I’m alright,” Peter said.
“I can see that. Now come on, I do have something I wanted to show you.”
