So what're your thoughts on Strive's current soundtrack?

It still has the overall tone that says “this is a GG soundtrack,” but there’s something... heavier to it. I’m not sure if it’s just the progression of the story or the progression of Ishiwatari, but it definitely hits different.

I dunno if this has been asked before, but does the OWCA give their Agent names based on their actual name or their species?

I'm not quite sure what you're asking. If you’re talking about the full version of the agents’ codenames, O.W.C.A. definitely bases the second half on what their common names are (”Perry the Mongoose,” for example, would not be a name that makes sense for Perry since he’s a platypus).

I'm not knowledgeable in biology and all the terms that go with it, but--as far as i'm aware--none of the animal agents have codenames that are directly derived from their species name (rather than their common name), otherwise characters like Perry would be "Perry the Anatinus."

If you're talking about their agent initials, those seem to vary in terms of being based on first or common names (Newton the Gnu is known as “Agent Silent G” from the Gnu part of his codename, but Pinky the Chihuahua shares the “Agent P” agent initials with Perry from his first name being Pinky)! If you're talking about their first names (like Peter, Terry, Pinky, Gary, etc), O.W.C.A. doesn't give them those.
