Anon who’s reading the books for the first time, I’m almost done with a clash of kings and can I just say... its wild to me the reasons characters give for not liking Stannis??? Like “he’s too stern” “he doesn’t smile” “he wanted to ban brothels” so???? Sweetie have you looked in the mirror lately???

Anyway, the prologue gave me some Feels™️ and now I’m obsessed with the idea that Stannis will only smile around his s/o and only when absolutely no one is around and only a really small withdrawn smile because he tries not to but they’re just too cute/funny/beautiful/he’s too in love

LOL I KNOW RIGHT.... "that stannis, he cant be king hes such a buzzkill" i just?? 😂 I love characters that complain about him bc its like "hes too stubborn and just and MaKeS LawS!!1!!" My fav is how Ned thinks well of him & peeps have the exact same criticisms of Ned haha, too boring/uptight/honorable

Anyhoo!!! I really love that hc too 🥺 he rlly only shows his little smiles & laughs to people he's v close to... sooo... just Davos and his S/O haha. She gets to hear that silly bark laugh he has ~♡
