I ended up today looking at some old fics of mine, and I came across the few Remixes into which I took part. Those were fun! I wonder if that thing still exists. (The idea of the remix challenge is to rewrite someone else's fic. Ofc, it's not just anybody's, but a fic from someone else who's signed up for it.)

And just because I like these old fics, I'm gonna self advertise my old stuff here a bit now. ^^

Firstly, The End of Silence (The All Paths Lead to God of Go Remix), a remix of Flonnebonne's The Silent Path. (I recommend reading that first, it's only a few hundred words anyway.) Tbh, this is a remix failure... as in that it's not the same story. It's a continuation to what Flonne wrote. But I really like it a lot, nevertheless. It's an Akari fic. 💜Word count: 2478.

And then, another one, Regret (The Dreams & Memories Remix), remix of Regret, a Portrayal by troisroyaumes/Tari Gwaemir. Here, I decided to make things difficult for myself and decided to remix a 100 word drabble. ^^;; Again, checking out the original first is recommended (and especially in this case it won't take much of your time XD) This fic has Hikaru and Akira in it, but it's not about them, really. The pov is (or is supposed to be anyway) that of an unconscious man in a hospital. >_> Like I said, making things easy for myself with this one. Word count: 1118.

And just so it wouldn't feel left out, the third one of my remixes... (eh, I'm not saying it were bad or anything such, I'm just not as fond of it as I'm of those other two fics): Onegaishimasu, she said (The Paths to the Future Remix), based on Nigiri, she said by lacygrey. Again, an Akari (and Nase) fic. Word count: 694.

and spends an undefined ammount of time being hunted/etc in kanto, then moving, and then spening more time just being in school, then starting his poke journey

hugh would also be in the bucket of 'start poke journey late' due to fun family deaths and stolen pokemon! no wonder he was happy when startying with forrest

I guess with ScVi still fresh in my mind, I kind of thought he'd be more like the professor AI. A sort of animatronic made to fight but gained a level of sentience enough to say he doesn't want to do that. Really kind of funny because that's what I imagined in the first place, just now we might have some weird explanation to how such a machine could be made. He's much more primitive than the ScVi AI though, since they're made from technology not possible yet, but Cipher has always been super dubious in the TPP lore for pushing what's possible :HYPERRACC:

Thanks to the Ticket thing, I pulled another copy of Lysandre and now both variants of him are 5/5. (He used to be my least favorite Pokemon villain--it's Rose now on account of how forced the Darkest Day Redux was--, tho I've mellowed out on Lys a lot over the years thanks to consistently good portrayals in other XY media, and because his Volcanion alt is one of my favorite units since it's very reliable.)

Meanwhile, my actual favorite villain Cyrus is still sitting at 3/5 for the Darkrai alt.
