Text
A d-centric religion where yanderes are believed to be zombies.
They are the reincarnations of people who didn’t die good deaths, or whose souls are restless. They should be resting peacefully in the afterlife, and yet here they are, back in the chaotic land of the living.
Listless, they spread death everywhere they go, jealous of those around them who are alive, and eventually latch onto a particular living person, their darling. They’ll then slowly and agonizingly drain the darling’s life force through traumatization in a futile effort to become alive again. It never works, though. The darling is just left as another husk, and the yandere is unfulfilled. Once the darling dies, they too will reincarnate as a yandere, and the cycle continues unless the yandere is caught and exorcised.

sol never being the type of god to want sacrifices or what have you, he'd be okay with just having something like feasts to be honest. he'd want the sun to be celebrated with parties and the such !

"You can break a shovel when you break new ground. You're digging dirt up when you dig deep down. You should know better than that by now. It's not profound to know that you can never know!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
i had been listening to "The Song with Five Names" by will wood for a while and i just fucking love it so much that i based this drawing off of it. it kinda looks like the cover to like a comic or a fanfic, but i'll let future me decide if i wanna do anything with it or not. i am rly proud of this though!!!
anyways, uh, i was kinda thinking that the cult had a meeting and just randomly decided it was gonna be held in william's basement, and at this point william and henry had been living together (most likely married but im not sure abt that yet) for a bit. henry got up in the middle of the night after having some trouble sleeping, heard noises in the basement, and went to check it out. he then walks in on what william calls their "club meeting". henry doesnt really question it since it's the middle of the night and is extremely tired. he hangs out with them for a while not paying attention to what they're saying and he eventually falls asleep. he then starts having dreams of the members trying to get him to join them, and it scared the living hell out of henry. whenever he would bring it up to william, he would deny everything. henry was left to question his sanity for the rest of the day...
Warning for talk of religion
Okay, can anyone who lives in america comment on this because I seriously need answers.
I have heard multiple times that religious people come knocking on other people's doors to try and convert them. Im watching a video rn, and even that mentions that jw's come knocking at peoples houses, even if the person has flags and shit in their windows. I have seen people say that theyve had them multiple times.
I might see this differently bc I live in europe, call me entitled, but i personally see this as an invasion of privacy. If this happened here, it would be unacceptable. You do this in europe and you probs get reported to hell and back.
So yeah, I have questions.
1) Why is this acceptable in America?
2) Do they not have anything better to do?
3) Do these people not have a sense of privacy? I get that its america and its a pretty open place, but if the citizens are so bothered by it, why are they still here?? I'm pretty sure people wouldn't do anything if they reported them, but like still.
4) Why do these groups even exist in the first place?! I bet your ass this has to do something with colonisation and how it helps the president with money or some shit but idk
So yeah what even is w/ these groups
Power Instinct Songs Ranked by Me (Part 7 of 8)
youtube
20. Ai ni Ikiru (Power Instinct)
Like Metameta, this song has grown on me a lot. Annie's best theme by far.
youtube
19. Fly Away (Groove on Fight)
Perfect music for when you're fighting two old ladies and a Sean Connery look-alike on top of a flying airplane. Not much else to say, but I do really like this track.
youtube
18. Give Me Money (Power Instinct 2)
The first song from Power Instinct 2 that I listened to, so it holds a special place in my heart. I've mentioned in an earlier post about the song Mottainai, which was originally Angela's unused theme from the PS1 port, and how it's better than Mottanai Death (which was a death metal remix that did get used in Senzo Kuyou). My opinion still stands, because Mottainai is just Give Me Money, but with different lyrics and singers. It probably should have had it's own ranking, but I was too lazy, I guess. Let's just say it's tied with Give Me Money.
youtube
17. Otoko no Karatemichi (Power Instinct)
So iconic, it's been in (almost) every Power Instinct game. But perfection can be improved upon, since the original didn't have much singing. It did have lyrics back then, but only in karaoke mode from one or both of the console ports of the first game (Japan only), I forget which.
youtube
16. Eiyuu ni Naritai (Heavy Version) (Power Instinct 2)
Plays during Round 2 of Keith's stage, and this is where it's starting to sound more like Eiyuu ni Naritai. Just, y'know, heavier than normal. Quite the banger.
youtube
15. ZIZIZI (Power Instinct 2)
Another song to dance to in my head. Wins out over Senzo Kuyou's remix because I like the 90s VGM aural aesthetic better.
14. Otoko no Karatemichi -Yakyuu Ouenfuu- (Gogetsuji Legends)
Yakyuu Ouenfuu translates to "Baseball Cheering Style", and it really does sound like baseball music. I can totally picture this song playing if Reiji was playing baseball instead of competing in a fighting tournament.
youtube
13. Joy!/Delight! (Matrimelee)
My favorite of the four songs that play when you fight against one of the guest fighters from Rage of the Dragons. Doesn't play much in the original Japanese version, since you don't get to fight Mr. Jones in one player mode, but I bet got more playtime in the overseas version. I don't know, I've never played Matrimelee. But this song is a bop.
youtube
12. World Step (Groove on Fight)
Definitely part of my top 3 Groove on Fight stage themes (and my top 5 GoF tracks in general).
youtube
11. Namida no... (Power Instinct 2)
A sad, pretty song. Power Instinct 2 and Gogetsuji Legends have the best soundtracks IMO, but I've probably made that clear many times by now.
One more left!
A Guide On Lessening Yourself
(Or, What To Do Before They Cut You Open)
This guide has been created to prepare you for your upcoming procedure. Please read carefully and follow all directions in order to have the safest experience.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
- Do not eat. (Required; at least 3 hours before the procedure starts. No meats, no vegetables, no grains, and especially no fruits. Any remaining food that is being digested will get in the way.)
- Do not drink. (Required; at least 2 hours before the procedure starts. No water, soda, juice, soup, milk, coffee, or energy drinks. Any remaining fluids will get in the way.)
- Do not bleed. (Required; at least 1 month before the procedure. No paper cuts, nosebleeds, injuries or other form of your own blood leaving your body. Restriction of the expression of your mortality is imperative.)
- Do not dream. (Strongly suggested; at least 1 month before the procedure starts. No daydreams, no hopes, no wishes, no lifelong goals, and no nightmares. Avoid losing yourself within any fantastical trappings - these are the vestiges of a mortal mind.)
TIPS:
BEFORE
- Make sure to confirm your procedure date. Whether by checking online, asking your doctor, or praying, it's of utmost importance that you remember the specific time and day of your event.
- Make certain that this procedure is for you.
Though the process has already been scheduled, you still have options if you're unsure. Asking God or previous patients are the most authentic ways to learn about this process. Consider the benefits and consequences of the procedure as a whole - this will undoubtedly affect your life, but will it be more negative rather than positive? Will you be able to be happy again? If you are willing to accept such possibilities, continue on. Should you choose to, however, you may still opt out before the scheduled date by telling your doctor and/or healthcare provider.
DURING
- Make sure to arrive early to your procedure. Timeliness is key.
- Be flexible with your interviewers. Many angels are unfamiliar with human languages and may instead choose to communicate directly inside your mind. This may cause discomfort as well as the feeling of being stripped into nothingness. Don't panic and remember that you deserve a chance at holiness, regardless of your humanity.
- Be polite. Though your angel interviewers may have already visited Earth before, human customs are often difficult to adjust to. If an interviewer makes a social faux pas (such as revealing their true form), brush it off and continue the conversation as best you can.
- Be prepared for any questions regarding your past attachments, relationships, possessions, etc. If you've prepared well, you'll be able to answer with full honesty that you have left all possible remnants of humanity behind - that means no mistakes, no regrets, and no emotions.
- Should you pass the interview (you will be told after they have finished), be ready to experience anywhere from a small to large amount of pain. This experience usually lasts around 20 seconds, but some say it feels like an eternity of blinding, searing light. The scale of your pain will be a direct result of how successful you were at stripping away your humanity; the agony that follows will be the angels burning it off of you.
- Wait through the pain.
- Wait through the pain.
- Wait through the pain.
- Wait through the pain.
- Wait through the pain.
- Wait through the pain.
- Wait thought it.
- Wait through it.
- Wait
AFTER
- If you've successfully passed the interview, survived the procedure, and become an angel, congratulations! The following tips are only suggestions, but may help you in adjusting to your new existence.
- Avoid brightening your divine light too much at once. You'll quickly realize that your new eyes are far more adjusted to light than a human's, making the world appear dimmer than before.
- Avoid speaking out loud to others for the first few millenium, as this may cause harm if done incorrectly. Instead, practice "speaking" through the visual and audible expression of abstract concepts.
- Don't expect to visit Earth again. More often than not, angels avoid the human world (most say it's too painful to linger), so it's very unlikely that you'll return. Don't come back if you possibly can.
Finally, enjoy your new status as part of the divine. Not many people get to experience the feeling - you have made it! Please enjoy the rest of infinity.
The 3 Steps Plan is a darlingkeeping and family planning philosophy proposed by Strathamian priest Mars Altair in 1941. He believed that the ideal Strathamian relationship progressed in 3 phases, based on age brackets. Though modern clergy often criticize it for being ageist, the cat is already out of the bag, and even teenage yanderes in Stratham aim to follow it if only loosely.
Stage 1 (18-24): Marriage and training, preparation for parenthood. The yandere must make sure that not only is their darling obedient, but that they are both mature enough, knowledgeable enough and healthy enough to produce heirs. They also must make sure their home can accommodate a family.
Stage 2 (25-43): Procreation and raising children. The most important stage, as Stratham’s religion focuses heavily on having many children.
Stage 3 (43-???): With children grown and gone, the darling will continue with their prescribed duties. The most relaxed stage, according to couples surveyed, and understandably so.
realised that my misguided understanding of BC meaning Before Christ and AD meaning After Death implies that my brain just flatout accepted the idea that jesus was born, lived to be a grownass man, and then died betwen the years 1 BC and 1 AD
Welcome to our religious queer experience!
A place to talk about both being queer/a member of the S2LGBTQIA+ community- and being religious in some way, something that a lot of people - both from the queer and from the religious community - think is "contradictory", or exclusive to one another.
I sincerely apologize if anyone reading this is uncomfortable with the word queer in reference to the community as a whole - so feel free to immediately block this blog, in case it makes you overly uncomfortable, as the word will probably be used quite often!
The person running this blog may not understand all types of experiences encompassing all religions and all queer identities, but I'll try my best to understand. I hope this can be a safe place for anyone to either vent, or build a community in which they can talk about their experiences safely.
Welcome for all religious people, as well as atheists to talk about their own experiences! As long as you aren't hateful of others, and choose not to spread falsehoods, you are welcome to speak. (That sounded unnecessary lol)
Blog is quite obviously inspired by @our-queer-experience , and was made for i couldn't find a blog like exactly this.
So have fun ig!
Women beheaded and bodies dumped in rivers under Taliban rule in Afghanistan, report says
‘We have seen reported cases of femicide on the increase, the reintroduction of public lashings and executions, a steady stream of deaths and detentions of former security and armed forces personnel,’ expert says
Women are being beheaded and having their bodies dumped in rivers and streets under Taliban rule, according to a troubling new report.
A study, by Afghan Witness, found 3,329 claims of human rights infringements in Afghanistan since the Taliban seized power of the country in August two years ago.
Researchers, who used open-source data, documented 1,977 claims of human rights breaches involving killings, arbitrary detentions and torture of the population since January last year.
The study notes hundreds of reports of women being violently killed by the Taliban, with the figures indicating a “gradual rise” in femicide cases.
“Since January 2022, Afghan Wintess has been recording reports of women being individually killed, often in circumstances of extreme violence and brutality,” the report states.
Researchers state they recorded 188 such cases across the country from January last year to July this year – with reports including cases of women being beheaded or shot at, as well as cases of stabbings. Bodies are said to be frequently discarded in rivers or streets, with reports sometimes stating their bodies indicate torture or suffocation, according to the Afghan Witness study.
David Osborn, of the Afghan Witness project, said: “The Taliban have reneged on many of their early promises regarding human rights, particularly for girls and women, and an amnesty for officials and security personnel who worked under the Republic.
“Since then we have seen reported cases of femicide on the increase, the reintroduction of public lashings and executions, a steady stream of deaths and detentions of former security and armed forces personnel, and the continuing repression of civil society, the media and activists.”
He noted while not all cases can be verified, the “sheer scale” of reports from “so many Afghans” sheds light on the “widespread and wide-ranging nature of human rights abuses being carried out, with impunity, by the Taliban and others”.
Mr Osborn added: “Despite the risks, some – predominantly women – have continued to protest. But these voices and wider civil society within Afghanistan, are increasingly isolated on the ground after two years of Taliban rule.”
Researchers documented 56 announcements by the Taliban Supreme Court issuing public punishments to more than 350 people – with this form of reprisal mainly linked to so-called moral crimes like adultery, sodomy and entering an illicit relationship – since the first public corporal punishment in October 2022.
The Taliban has blocked women from the workplace, education and public spaces, as well as barring them from taking part in all sports since retaking power two years ago.
Researchers verified almost 70 women-led street protests since the first demonstration in August 2021 – with protesters showing their opposition to the curtailment of girl’s and women’s access to education and the workplace.
The report documented 67 reports of civil society activists and demonstrators being arrested between January 2022 and July this year. Meanwhile, there were 98 reports of journalists, photographers and media commentators detained by the Taliban.
Power Instinct Songs Ranked By Me (Part 1 of 8)
I've had (and still have) a lot of time on my hands, so I decided to rank all the stage themes in every Power Instinct game has ever made in order of personal preference, countdown style. This is going to take multiple posts, so bare with me.
youtube
80. God of Death (Groove on Fight)
This song makes me feel uncomfortable for some reason. Maybe it triggers my Religious OCD. Maybe it's because the character associated with the song, Bristol-D, summons a bunch of cameos from Shin Megami Tensei, a game that I will never play because the plot triggers my Religious OCD. Or maybe it doesn't trigger anything and I just don't like this song. But whatever the case, this song gives me bad feelings and I can't quite pinpoint why.
youtube
79. Matrimelee March (Matrimelee/Bonnou Kaihou)
This song is hard for me to listen to because it's the epitome of "lovey-dovey" music. I can't really listen to such music for some reason unless my mind is occupied by looking at video game footage. This would have ranked the lowest if not for it's only redeeming feature: this is the catchiest version of the Wedding March song I've ever heard, and if I weren't so repulsed by that kind of thing, I would actually enjoy this song. It's pretty upbeat.
youtube
78. Mottainai Death (Gouketsuji Ichizoku Matsuri: Senzo Kuyou)
This doesn't trigger anything like Religious OCD or synesthesia problems like Matrimelee March. I guess I just don't like death metal all that much. (Plus, the original Mottainai is better, but more on that later.)
youtube
77. Hajimete no Ai (Gouketsuji Ichizoku Matsuri: Senzo Kuyou)
Ew, more lovey-dove music. Next!
youtube
76. Hajimete no Ai (Power Instinct 2)
Even more lovey-dovey music. But I have a soft spot for the soundtrack to Power Instinct 2 as a whole, so this is ranked just slightly higher than the higher-quality and technically superior Senzo Kuyou version. Because I have questionable taste in everything.
youtube
75. Eiyuu ni Naritai (Power Instinct)
Nothing horribly wrong with this song. It's just that there are so many better versions of this particular song that I can't get into this one. I think it's in a different key than the others, so it sounds weird.
youtube
74. Incarnation (Groove on Fight)
I'm not sure why I have this song listed as higher than the last one, but anyway, this song is associated with Bristol so it gets ranked pretty low. But this is before he starts summoning SMT monsters (I think), so it's not so bad. Also, this song samples some choir sing from somewhere that I also heard sampled in a G-Darius song, so maybe that's where it gets brownie points that the original Eiyuu ni Naritai didn't.
youtube
73. Hyakkan (Matrimelee/Bonnou Kaihou)
Easier to listen to than Mottainai Death, but... mehhh.
youtube
72. Wakusei Pentagin Boshi Enka (Gouketsuji Ichizoku Matsuri: Senzo Kuyou)
A song where a bunch of aliens sing about how much they love doing evil alien stuff. It's also partially censored, because we can't have our video games corrupting our children, don'tcha know (snarkity snark). BTW, the two words that were censored translate to "war" and "violence," which I'm sure there's a good reason as to why they bleeped them out, but I don't know much about Japanese censorship laws so I don't know.
But I never really cared for any of Kintaro's theme songs, so...
youtube
71. Chinmoku no Sabage (Gouketsuji Ichizoku Matsuri Senzo Kuyou)
This song is just pure meh to me, but I guess it sounds slightly catchier than the last one. I don't know.
Stay tuned for the next batch of songs, I guess.
