#religion is toxic

Critical Thinking > Religion
ALL Religions require several things from their adherents which normally developed, critically-thinking minds cannot give them:
1.  Blind adherence to a “written word” that is taken as the “authority” forever.
2.  A certain kind of willful ignorance.  I’m not talking about people who are inherently just, well, a few cards short of a deck in the brain department.  I’m talking about a “We don’t ask those kind of questions, our god takes care of that” kind of WILL-ful.  They WILLINGLY go into this relationship with their “religion” (from god all the way down to priest/preacher).
3.  A tendency (which is planted and nurtured like the biggest grudge in the universe) toward a perpetual victimhood, a Persecution Complex that never stops being shoved in everyone else’s face.
4.  No religion truly wants to “co-exist” with another religion.  Thus they implant the nationalistic, racist narrative as the “ultimate word of god”, and we’re off to the Holy Wars.
If everyone just stopped believing and reinforcing this shit, it would eventually go away.  If we stopped the dumbing-down of the general populace, it would go away.  If we taught Critical Thinking throughout the school curricula, in all facets of education, it would eventually go away.
The more education and wisdom the populace acquires, the less “religion” will be able to fool anyone.  Religion will eventually go away.  Our job is to ensure that education and critical thinking are the utmost priority in our schools.
We cannot allow the Theo-Fascists to win.  They must be dealt with harshly.
It is not the “wall between church and state”.
It’s the wall between fiction and truth.

Know thyself? Self knowledge is the key to the truth. It is an expression of a general truth or principle. In simple translation it means know yourself, your power, strength and weaknesses, opportunities and possibilities of what you can you do and what can you not. Maybe then you can learn and know how to do the thing which you wished for or dream about doing it. It is the very basic of self analysis and correction and in these times can guide us very positively in the future. Because the same analysis will lead to fight with the external factors and specially uncontrollable events which affects the core of the society.

Imma Christian from the church of God (that’s determined what principles it teaches) like tbh there’s like 2 main verse about god being black (revelation 1:14 & 15) but some of these ppl don’t give 2 f about black ppl or just about racism in general. I just really hate the hate that some Christians show to ppl like tf? Why you just standing by and hating ppl for nothing. Uhgggggg😫😫👾(idk if any of that made sense 😶)
Ong that's why hateful ass Christians will always be the worst kind of ppl to me... like there's sm shit in the Bible that says to love everyone regardless of race and/or sexuality and they either straight up ignore it or use the whitewashed edited version. Like in reality you're just a bigot using religion as a shield🧍🏾‍♀️

why is it referred to as “religious belief?”
because there is no such thing as “religious fact.”

Christian people be like "no adopted people aren't actually sons/daughters of those who adopted them they don't have a piece of eachother" or whatever
Bitch wanting to pass on your genes instead of adopting in a world filled with poverty and neglect actually makes it look like you're so desperate in your desire of passing on some legacy but have no real wisdom or useful skills to pass to someone else. Wake the fuck up dizzyman, you claim to be higher than beasts while being one yourself.

Getting real tired of Christians claiming persecution when they're really experiencing accountability.
[Image description: The Inigo Montoya Inconceivable meme. The top caption says, "Christians getting called out for their toxic theology: 'I'm being persecuted!'" The bottom caption says: "The rest of us," leading into Inigo Montoya's iconic line: "You keep using that word. I don't think it means what you think it means." End description.]

Church trauma/religious trauma feels detrimental. Growing up in the church, I was basically told who and what I was going to be. Now that i’m gone, I have to figure it out for myself and it’s hard. It’s really fucking hard. Learning to unlearn and change my beliefs around about myself and the world is a challenge I wasn’t prepared to face.
If you’re in the same boat as me, know you’re not alone. I would love to hear/share experiences and what we’re going through together. I feel like it won’t be so tough to navigate with another likeminded individual. My messages are always open!
Xx, Ci

“... nasal tests for COVID-19 were part of a nefarious plan to obtain DNA samples to be used in the creation of targeted biological weapons that will unleash a disease to turn everyone it does not kill into flesh-eating zombies.”
it is WAY past time to designate religion as a mental illness, disease, defect, etc. etc. etc.
WAY. PAST. TIME.

A Dios le he pedido.

I love that lil Nas X video. Christians (if you can really call them that) coming for him hard. Seriously, I wish I had such unapologetically gay artists around when I was growing up. First time I saw anything gay that wasn’t designed by homophobes was Pedro Zamora on The Real World... first gay kiss I ever saw... I’ll never forget it.
Also, everybody talking about their poor exposed kids, like gay kids don’t exist, or like artists are required to satiate the fragile, yet toxic, feelings of heterosupremacists with imaginary friends who can’t be bothered to supervise or talk to their children. Fuck right off.
Hope his next video is a 3 hour cum shot compilation that debuts on PornHub and kicks off with a bukakke’d bible on fire.
Fuck you and your shame.

“God” is the smokescreen to cover what religion is really about:
control of the masses, power, and enriching those who proselytise it.

feel free to send in asks about....
a) abortion (arguing for/against)
b) Christianity (arguing for/against)
c) my beliefs on controversial issues (homosexuality, blm, hell, etc)
d) idk what else...i could talk about my dog?
I don't respond to arguments in the reblogs/replies- there's too many for me to be able to give thoughtful replies to all of them. If you want to say something- SEND IN ASKS or else I will ignore it.
