Get weird for Valentine’s Day! Or even weirder for whatever other occasion with these fine hand carved woodcut anatomical heart prints from PJ Superior.
Choose your symbolism with Innie (Divine Feminine) or Outie (Sublime Masculine)
(Miss PJ was born intersex hence the inspiration in exploring such themes with a “gender is in the heart” philosophy.)
The original woodblocks to create these prints were carved in the traditional Japanese reductive style in three layers of color on brown recycled chip board card stock. The backs were printed with hand set vintage letterpress type by PJ Superior at the now defunct Church of Type in Santa Monica, CA

the question, you see, is not ‘is it too ooc for this character to cry’ but rather ‘what circumstances would push this character to cry’
this is the whump wisdom, go forth and make that character cry

To be female still means being trapped within the purely psychological. No matter how dispassionate or large a vision of the world a woman formulates, whenever it includes her own experience and emotion, the telescope's turned back on her.

i love the artistic stylings of studio ghibli as much as anyone else does but im kind of sick of anything with like vivid environments and big blue skies being branded as ghibliesque. because its like. you know where else you can hypothetically find some vivid environments with big blue skies? my friend the great and wonderful outdoors are here for you

Susan smiled at me, giving Molly the Female Once-Over—a process by which one woman creates a detailed profile of another woman based upon about a million subtle details of clothing, jewelry, makeup, and body type, and then decides how much of a social threat she might be. Men have a parallel process, but it’s binary: Does he have beer? If yes, will he share with me?
