Earth-8: Red Planets The Universe is Burning. A flaming crusade has spread across the stars turning whole worlds to cinders. Nothing remains in its wake. No one knows the cause simply because as soon as the inferno hits no more news comes out of that system. The only thing known for sure was the origin point: New Mars. Seeing his legacy's worst fears finally realized Son of Vulcan has rallied a small group of elite soldiers to try and end the Burning Martian Menace once and for all. Each of them has a unique history with this foe but none of them are ready for what lurks at the heart of this evil. Earth-8 is a world of solely post-Crisis/pre-Infinite Crisis heroes, a world where the old age died at the hands of the Anti-Monitor and did not come back, or, if it did return it was not the same.

"It's 0700 hours and the Gallagher clan is up and at it early because Andi-Roo just couldn't wait another minute!"

The colors swirled as the camera panned across the room, where his wife was soothing their baby, her tiny head resting against her shoulder.

"And there she is, the mother of the century, Mrs. Gallagher." His proud tone had the corners of her mouth twisting up into a smile.

"Why don't you get on camera, Robby? This is your day, after all."

"That's a good question. Why don't I? It's our special day, my lovely Starlight. We’re in this together." The bed sank softly as he sat next to her, flipping the camera around so it held the three of them in frame.

"I still can't believe my little Andromeda Rose has such red hair. I mean, look at her!" Robby kissed the baby's head.

"She gets it from her daddy." Starlight pressed her lips to his cheek. "Your grandfather always liked telling us about how red his hair was when he was young, how proud he was that you got that trait from your father. And now…" She looked at Andromeda. “…she’s got it from you.”

"What would my grandfather say about today, do you think?"

"Keep your head screwed on straight and..."

"... don't forget how to get home." Robby repeated with her, laughing softly.
