Elon Musk says SpaceX will land on Mars in 2022
Elon Musk says SpaceX will land on Mars in 2022
Elon Musk says that SpaceX, his aerospace manufacturing company, will land a spacecraft on Mars in 2022, while humans will do the same in the next 4-6 years. There is no doubt that Elon Musk already has his sights set on Mars with SpaceX, working day and night to fulfill his dream: Establish a colony on the red planet. He is already thinking about interplanetary laws, since he recently assured…

Tuesday May 11
Wow I set myself up for pain this weekend. Spoilers for episode 5 of to your eternity ahead. I finished Beyond the Boundary ( Kyoukai no Kanata) and watched the new episodes of To your Eternity, Tokyo Revengers and MHA. So let's start with the best:
Tumblr media
To Your Eternity (Fumetsu no Anata E) Episode 5: I don't have enough tears for this show - from start to finish I've been crying for this episode. I think they captured a lot of important parts of death. They captured the meaning and value behind it, as well as the importance of moving forwards. They also portrayed the future that could have been and all the possibilities had the death not occurred. I like how they created a separation between the living and the dead but still connected everyone there through Fushi's actions. Beyond the Boundary (Kyoukai no Kanata) This show has a lot of different genres mixed into one and I think it worked really well, between the supernatural, the slice of life, comedy and romance. It's not the kind of show I normally watch when I break it down into those genres but this one really captured me. I like the slowly increasing connection between Akky and Mirai but the natural transition made is more wholesome. I feel that this show also likely influence Jujutsu Kaisen and there's a lot of similar aspects in regards to the spirits and those who are tasked with removing them. Yet another jar of tears was shed for this show and I'm glad they ended it the way they did. 8/10- wholesome, well rounded, but not S-tier Tokyo Revengers Episode 5: I think this episode is super important, it shows that there is a lot of heart in the gang and the importance of the people that surround us and the consequences when they're gone. My Hero Academia Episode 7: I called it last episode lol - I didn't think they'd continue the 1 match 1 episode thing. I think they're starting to build up the actual plot for the season though, which excites me. The bit with Endeavor and his texts to Shoto was excellent. Bakugou's VA sounds rough - like he's clearly shot his voice and that sucks. I'm stoked for the next episode. Eden Zero I only ended up watching a couple episodes, but despite the style and main characters looking the exact same as Fairy Tail, It's quite different and I think I'm going to really like it. The powers are neat and the sci-fi aspect is very fun. I'll update once I catch up to it. I'm gonna try to keep posts short - or split them up between shows - not sure yet, but I feel like the long posts are tougher to read. I didn't get around to Odd Taxi, it's one that I need to pay 100% of my attention to so I'll likely watch it on Thursday. I think i'll also assign 1 12 episode series to watch within the week. So from now on I'll try and do a consistent - 1 weekend post - 1 weekday post. Upcoming: Odd Taxi Slime Diaries Eden Zero Mars Red

During Earth first expedition to Mars, the astronauts encounter carnivorous plants with tentacle arms, hideous space whales with rotating eyes, and giant bat-spiders with claws. After two of the team are killed, the survivors escape back to Earth. Then the Martians send a warning - if humans return to the Red Planet, the Martian will destroy Earth in retaliation.

~とする
More here and here
regard《A as B》
consider [assume]《A to be B》
treat 《A as B》
Here  we have とする+たら
The conditional form is reinforced by もし at the beginning.
Literally, she’s saying “If I assume that…”
~と in this case means “with”  (with the incident from a moment before)
近くに vs. 近くで
に = existence = the culprit must be here (must be existing here)
で = an action taking place = the blood traces break off here (action = break off)

~といい
Wishing, hoping for something good to happen
To wish good will onto someone else you use
the verb in its short form plus といいです。
So for example いいしごとがみつかるといいですね = I hope you find a good job.
といいです (formal) ->といい (casual) usually with ね -> といいね
When hoping for something good to happen to you,
you use といいんですが。 いいしごとがみつかるといいのですが。- I hope I find a good job.
~いいのですが is standard/polite form. ~いいんですが is standard/informal form. Both are neutral and can be used by both men and women.
~ますように
It is usually placed at the end of a sentence. It also expresses desire/hope/wish.
ます= polite verb form
The main difference is whether you want it to sound like a wish/prayer/humble request ~ますように (May all my dreams come true!_
or like a simple hope/desire for an outcome ~といい (I hope/it’d be nice if…)
逢える also 会える (to meet, to see)
I hope/ It’d be nice if you can see/ meet him soon!
It’s said by someone else; not the speaker. An old lady is hoping for this to happen.
