So Ladd and I... I never really fleshed out a story for us before, but here's my first attempt!

It got a little long, so it's under a cut fjdjdh

I was on the ship with Maiza and the other immortals. I didn't drink the immortality elixir when everyone else did, though. I waited, because I was sure that I didn't want to live forever. Once I saw how lonely Maiza was without his brother though, I decided to drink and to stay with him for eternity, as his friend and younger sibling.

Being immortal has its downsides, though, and that's the fact that I am not crazy about the whole Living thing. For many years I tried to find an antidote for the immortality, but it never worked. There was only one way to end an immortal's life; To be devoured by another immortal. There was no way I could ask that of Maiza, so I kept trying.

One night, I stood on the edge of a bridge, watching the water rushing below, planning on jumping but knowing that nothing would actually take my life. I'd get a few broken bones, maybe, but they'd heal just as quick. Maybe it was for the adrenaline I was doing it now. Maybe it was just the comfort of the illusion that soon I wouldn't have to keep living.

That's when he found me.

Ladd stopped me from jumping, asked what a pretty thing like me was doing all the way out here on such a dark night, that the city is full of creeps and I should be careful if I wanna stay alive. Funny thing to say after I had just watched him kill two guys for simply standing in his way on his stroll over to me, but it wasn't any of my business.

We got talking, of course I didn't tell him that I was immortal, just that I was cursed. A curse that nobody can beat- A curse that won't let me die. He had to laugh. And he laughed hard.

"What a coincidence! You're here with a curse that stops you from dying, and here I am, the best assassin the Russo family's got! I'll kill ya, kid. In fact, I won't even ask you to pay me! I'll do it for free!"

There was no hesitation as he pulled out a gun, and I pressed my head against the barrel.

But, if anyone knows anything about Ladd Russo, it's that the people he likes killing the most are the ones who never see it coming. He lowered the gun and put it away, telling me that we should meet up again in a few days, give me time to get my affairs in order. What he really wanted was to get me unaware- This was a challenge and he was going to pass it with flying colors - Mostly red!

The problem was, though, that I was always ready. If he couldn't get me surprised, he wasn't going to get me at all, dammit. So we kept meeting, he kept telling me it would happen another time. The more we saw of each other, though, the closer we grew, and the more I wanted to live to see him.

Sure, he was a maniac who loved killing, and I was an immortal who could never die... But there was an energy between us. Crazy, some people might call it... But we fit each other's crazy.

He eventually asked me to stop trying to take my own life- That if anyone was going to kill me, it was going to be him. It was his honor and his alone. That's how our dynamic ended up along the same lines of his and Lua's in canon- "Its always been my dream to find people who want to live in this world more than you and slaughter them one by one until... Until there's just you, and I'd gladly spend the rest of your life lovingly murdering you. Until then you stick with me, and don't you dare die. Right, babe?"

Unlike Lua who is very reserved though, I am visibly flattered by Ladd when he flirts this way, very deeply into it xkdjskb

First Fireside Meeting

I find it interesting how this telesis speech always wins people's hearts. You weren't half bad either. I thought they'd throw a tomato at my face or something. Only Yan liked it. I guess I really need to work on my manners.

Acquaintance

The winds in Sandrock are so unpredictable! I mostly fail to predict sandstorms through the winds. In Highwind, it's much easier to know when it's going to rain or thunder.

Sandrock has so many lovely little street animals. If I didn't have other plans, I'd have taken them all to my workshop already.

There's a fine line between wanting to make money and wanting to laze around all day. Today is a perfect day for indulging in my laziness.

The research center director seems absent-minded, but he knows how to make our work easier. I knew him from the letters he used to send to my Pa when director was just a student. They both have the same research line about the old world's space technology.

Buddy

Hey, buddy! Found anything new in the ruins? We could go together someday! Don't worry, I'll bring any extra snacks we need! What do you like to eat? I can cook.

Oh man, Justice scolded me again because I accidentally, without intent, went into a place he told me was off-limits. Maybe I should work on my sneaking skills.

Hey sunshine. You're so radiant today. Your eyes shine like a supernova. It's so beautiful... You're blushing, that's cute. Don't worry, I'm just teasing you. But that doesn't mean I'm lying.

I don't miss Highwind that much. But one thing that saddens me is not being able to fly anymore. Feeling the wind on your face, adrenaline rushing through your veins. The feeling of freedom is unparalleled when you're in the sky.

Good Friends

You know, I don't usually tell people this. But when I was a kid, my best friend was a turtle named Deimos; he's my Pa's pet. I made helmets for him, and we played a lot. I named my workshop after him because he was my only company when I tried to disassemble and reassemble things my Ma brought from the ruins for me.

Did you know music boxes and pocket watches operate on the same principle?! A spiral spring assisting the movement of gears and a cord that defines both the music and the running time of the hands. I have some diagrams I drew myself if you want to build one.

My master Maxwell came to Sandrock as a builder when that Lou guy was the mayor; he helped build many things in the city. But the old man always spoke of the city with a certain regret. Now I understand why; progress ended up destroying Oasis a little more. I hope I can make a positive difference in Sandrock this time.

Birthday

My birthday? It's the thirteenth of fall. I like being born on this day; it's not too cold and not too hot. And the golden and red leaves make the landscape pleasant. Now that you know, I expect at least a gift, or we can just have a shot at the Saloon; that would be good too.

Day of Memories

You know, Day of Memories isn't just for people who are gone; it's also for people who are far away. I think I'll light one for my Ma and for my master this year.

Huh? Why do I have this expression? Nobody is obligated to smile on every holiday that happens... Sorry. I just don't like this date very much.

That sandwall is everything we could need! Heidi is a brilliant architect. We won't have to decrease production during sandstorms. You know what that means? More money.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I miss old fandom. And this isn't a "whining about the Winchesters" post.

It's just.. literally the fandom.

Watching these clout chasing goblins spread lies, play games, come back into my DM trying to talk out both sides of their mouth to fish for what I have, "big name fans should stick together", "don't you care what people think?"

Like guys. I don't just come from the gulf. Some of me, unfortunately, is stuck here, despite my best valiant efforts to get out.

But I remember many things.

I remember the postcards this fandom sent to the crew during writers strikes when we had no other way

I remember feathers sent to save Castiel and rehire misha.

I remember the many years fans repitched wayward until berens picked it up.

I remember SPN Rescue, and when the government wouldn't save New Orleans, we went out there as a family on our fucking life rafts saving lives for no glory of our own, but because it was the right fucking thing to do

the remaining trivial loud bitches around here dont even know what Nola is, Katrina is, what cultural shit set that up or that we even WENT there to fight, while they try to White Wander into Nola and establish their own nonsense.

These were the things that made the fandom ours. Really ours. Over time, well intended fundraisers available online became click and order activism and it's like everyone just. Forgot. What we used to do.

I remember when Lua and I put aside our differences, and SPN Rescue and BT worked together so wide we got travis banned from worldwide conventions, not just SPN.

Like this fandom used to be a power force but all of the old blood got burned out by assholes and the new kids filling their roles genuinely seem to gauge all things in clout trade rather than that.

Like. It seems to be frying one person in particular's brain. We don't get along. They found out, apparently, somehow, that I am in fact correct, and they've been bouncing off my dms on alts on various socials trying to wiggle in since because it's just. Utterly roasting them how this could mutually be true and how at the same time nobody cares about a bunch of privileged assholes roleplaying on twitter.

Yeah, big name fans SHOULD stick together, but you new kids came in acting like privileged assholes that think you can speculate and rumor your way through life. If me and Lua used to be able to work out our shit to do what was important, you guys can too, but your little digital thrones matter more to the current lot than the actual actions and results. Someone wanted more Cephalon Cy so you now get Cephalon Cy being a dad Notes. (And some of my idiot Tenno’s notes.)

Cy is. A good dad. Strict, yes, but willing to explain why if asked. That said, if it’s your birthday you’re getting spoiled rotten. Little Luna got frequent shoulder rides and got to command Cadogan around like a massive mount.

Glace.... gets fishing supplies and snake food seeing as fishing addict/they kept one of the false water cobra’s kids as they ended up Thyrst-red. (The noodle is named Thyrst. Well-taken care of snake, along with all of Glace’s Kubrows and Kavats. A good diet of Kuakas with supplemental Murkray fillets and vitamin powders.) Cy is also always open to comforting his kids if needed. Glace has nightmares? Get plopped on his lap and snuggled, nerd. @apprenticenerd‘s Jhia has wing cramps? If wanted, Cy will gladly gently apply massages. @mythandlaur‘s Kepler getting too overwhelmed? Cy will give her his coat to hide under until things stop being so much.

That said this idiot is also a chronic overworker. This is a habit that’s carried over from his days since Cadogan. Cy will work through at least five scheduled maintenance cycles and crash only once he starts lagging to a noticeable amount. ....Ordis has had to enter his office several times, use his override permissions, and drag him off to sleep. Seeing as my Cy’s Ordis is shorter than him, sometimes this giant is dragged off like a sack of potatoes slung over a shoulder.

Cy’s little bit of the weave looks like a tropical island, more often than not. Like the Dog-Days arena but smaller. Sometimes the simulated land mass is wrapped in a dome of glass and resting at the bottom of the Uranus waves, simulated wildlife swimming by above head. If resting, more often than not he prefers a hammock as he’s used one most of his life. (Saves more space as you can just unclip one side if extra storage is needed on a ship.)

Cy cares deeply for all his staff. When allowed public Drydock space, he made sure there were amenities that went above and beyond. All staff has medical insurance, a comprehensive time off policy, and several on-staff mental health professionals if needed. (Despite this the dumbass still doesn’t go to get his own mental health looked over.) There’s also at least two top of the line commercial coffee makers per drydock, one for regular coffee and one for cyborg/other modification friendly coffee. Despite the New Loka being the New Loka, they do make arguably the best coffee in the Origin system. Cy begrudgingly pays them for the good stuff, not because his staff doesn’t deserve it, but because it’s The New Loka.

The info that Ballas wanted to get from Luna? What was that last ship you sent out towards the edge of the solar system. The answer? A cache of history and culturally relevant artefacts from the Yvo clan and the others that fought with them until their end. Because as long as one is remembered, they are never forgotten.

The main members of the last Pirate Hoard were the Mercenaries of Yvo, the last few survivors of Ordan’s clan, Javi’s group of Europan Geneticists, the Neptunian Coders, and a few bits the Orokin dedicated servant class (apprenticenerd gave them the name of Tsei) who were super fed up and said ‘fuck it might as well die fighting for once.’

Of course, such a special project couldn’t go off unmanned. Problem is, a human-based Cephalon would go batty from the planned centuries in the Void Proxima region. So what did they do? Take a Cephalon they captured that’s broken, rip out the human ‘personality’ components and leave enough of the base coding that any mind smacked in there would be elevated to near-human levels of thinking. And the very lucky Sir Reginald was put in. This massive ass snake somehow made it off of Lua on the last supply cache to the Yvo as part of an old treaty.

Cy and Ordis managed to recover the cache on an experimental science-based Railjack loadout run. Cy is fucking ecstatic to be reunited with his “Number one boop noodle!”

Nowadays Sir Reginald still has free-roam of Cy’s current office. The Snakephalon does not have a spectral meat space form, but is more than content to just noodle around the Datascape bits of Cy’s office. Feet her a rat and she will love you forever. (Note that Rats for the Snakephalon translate to bits of bad data. You got a bad hard drive sector? She’ll eat it right up and be a content noodle.)

One last Cy thing. Glace happens to be cursed with a lot of aquatic based void mutations (Yes, it’s a good idea, I’m using it.) and one of them is basically super-charged shark teeth. Sometimes they fall out, and new ones growing in itch sometimes. If it’s bad enough, Cy will lend Glace their Atlas Prime arm to gnaw on for a bit. Just casually disconnect it from the elbow-down and hand it over, as void-mimicing-warframe is oddly hell teeth resistant. Glace appreciates this but is also lightly embarrassed, which is why they always hide under his desk when gnawing on his arm. Cy doesn’t mind one bit.

Terravenger Season 6 - The Fallen Magus Arc - Episode 486 (Do Not Copy) - 11.18.2023

During the year 1958, the young soldier named Thomas Faust hurried to the stairway at an old hospital. He rushed onto the third floor and into a small room. He finally found his frail wife laying in a small bed.

Thomas had on his gray uniform while Amber wore nothing but a long white gown with short sleeves.

The saddened Thomas said "It is sorrowful to see you like this, Frauchen."

Amber gave a heavy cough a few times and told her loving husband "This has worsen. I am very sorry, Gatte."

The sick woman tried to reach for something using her right hand. Thomas soon spotted the item on a small table by his wife's right shoulder. He grabbed the item and looked at it for a moment.

"Fur dich," Amber informed him.

This was a large portrait of a slender male figure. He had worn a long-sleeved black shirt and a pair of tight black pants. He had a face mask placed on each shoulder and a blue scarf around his shoulders along with a golden claw placed by the right side of his neck. He also wore a long dark-red band around his right wrist along with a thick black belt that had the large, silver Infinity symbol at the front. And he had on a pair of short black boots.

Amber turned slowly to him and whispered "The clothing... My clothing piece."

Thomas asked "Have you finally finished this piece in your clothing line?"

Then Thomas found another portrait behind it. It was of a male wearing a zipped black top which had no sleeves and the silver Infinity symbol on the lower part. The male had on a short cloth around his waist which was made of black leather. He also had on a pair of tight black pants and short black boots. And he wore a pair of long gloves that were made of maroon cloth.

A warm Thomas implied "Both of the outfits. They are indeed beautiful."

A large hole formed on the ceiling of the old temple which revealed the great light of evil shining from the black moon in the night sky.

The villainous Lua roared "I SHALL END YOU WITH THIS FINAL ATTACK!"

And he called out "LIGHT RELEASE! FINAL CLEANSING OF THE GREAT MEPHISTOPHELES!"

A large cannon of the shiny blue light fell form the black moon and shined through the body of the helpless Leo who continued to give a careless smile.

Lua watched as the energy cannon had formed a circular field around the entire temple.

The vicious warrior yelled "May the entire area be cleansed of the darkness that affects my great lord and our future savior!"

Terravenger -- Season 6

Episode 486: The Fallen Magus Arc -- The Final Attack

After a few minutes had passed, the color of the full moon returned to normal as the smoke around the area lifted.

The villain Lua lowered down and roared with laughter. That was until more of the smoke before him had lifted. And Lua became surprised once he discovered what stood at the other side.

"Impossible!" He yelled. "How could you have survived?"

The shocked villain suddenly found his opponent Leo standing at the other side with only his arms thrown apart and a peaceful smile. Lua also spotted the five orbs spiraling in front of the enemy. And a fiery red light was emitted from each orb.

Meanwhile, both Kiona and Darrin remained further away from the battle.

Kiona responded "I figured our Magus would survive from this."

The calm Leo opened his clear green eyes and informed his opponent "I remembered the technique from the moment the moon's color had changed. I was able to intercept its strike with another ability which involved my five orbs."

Once the orbs all vanished, Leo faced his opponent and continued.

"I formed my orbs together in order to summon a barrier strong enough to withstand your attack. The name I have chosen for this technique is Elementum Crystallis -- Aut Praesidium. This is based on that from the Heavens along with the Sky and the Void."

Lua cried "I do not believe this! That was my greatest technique!"

After that, Leo placed his right hand forward with his palm facing down.

"And now," He told Lua. "I shall vanquish you. I am able to erase you from this plane without using a technique created by the Bringer."

Black energy soon rose from underneath the ground to his right hand. Then Leo formed this energy into a large wheel that began rotating in a quick manner.

"Dark Release!" called Leo. "Negans Samsara!"

A large ray of dark-red energy shot from the center of the spinning circle. Once the projectile struck him, Lua lowered to his knees as his eyes became blank.

Lua softly called "What?"

And the helpless Lua finally fell with his face down.

"Farewell," said Leo. "You will no longer be a threat to me."

The soulless body of Lua slowly hardened until it fell into ashes.

He told his two companions "We must press on. Mephistopheles awaits."

The three warriors continued by walking through the hallway. They soon arrived in another hallway. But his one had many doors at each side.

The trio searched around the hall until Leo reported "He is beyond this hall. We should hurry."

During the year 1958, the soldier Thomas Faust in his gray uniform had watched as his wife Amber laid her head on the pillow of the bed inside a small room at the old hospital in Berlin.

The weak Amber turned her head to the left side as her eyes slowly closed.

"Frauchen?" called Thomas.

The worried soldier stood up as his hands remained on the right hand of his beloved wife.

And a male voice calmly said "She has wavered."

Thomas quickly turned his head. Standing behind him was a young man with fair skin, short brown hair that slanted to his left side, and a well-built body. And the color of his right eye was blue while his left eye was yellow. He had worn a black-lined mesh shirt, white pants with a thick black belt, and a pair of short black boots. He also had on an opened white coat with a long blue sleeve while the left sleeve had three different shades of color which was a part of a uniform worn by the United States Military.

The newcomer informed Thomas "The girl has finally passed on. Now it is only the dead that can judge her."

Thomas stood before him and yelled "How dare you? You do not belong here! Leave us at once!"

The intruder gave a soft smile and claimed "This is the truth however. Your beloved has now joined the spirits in the Afterlife."

Then the angry Thomas cried "Do you have a wish for pain?"

The distraught soldier tried to strike using his Right Fist. The stranger quickly appeared behind him. And he pushed his left hand through the back of Thomas's body.

Thomas yelled as he felt a great pain "Was zam Toufel?"

A blue light shined from them until the mysterious man took his hand out. A weakened Thomas fell to his knees as he laid his hands on the ground.

Thomas cried "What was that?"

The mysterious man stood behind the tired Thomas while he held a ball of blue light that was the same size as a baseball.

And Thomas asked "What did you do to me?"

"Relax," replied the man. "I have only taken a large sum of your energy. You will no longer be able to move for a short time."

After that, the man introduced himself.

"You can call me Lua. I am one of those who serve the Bringer of Light himself."

"Der trager des Lichts?" questioned Thomas. "You say that you serve He Who Brings the Chaos To Those Deserving?"

"Indeed," answered Lua. "And he had requested that I bring you to him."

Thomas slowly lowered his head and asked "What does he want with me?"

Lua gave a kind smile as he placed his right hand on his waist.

And he replied "He wishes only to have a word with you."

"But for what reason?" cried Thomas. "I have nothing of value for him."

Then Lua implied "But maybe he has something that can help you reunite with your beloved. Perhaps something that may make her whole again."

"Was meinen Sie?" questioned Thomas. "Can he truly do that for me?"

Lua replied "You never know. You may be able to feel a touch from your loving wife by the end of the night."

Leo led his followers into a large room that was filled with lit candles at every corner. They soon spotted a large chair which remained at the other side of the empty room.

"What is this?" replied Darrin. "We all did sense his ki here. But where is he? The Bringer of Chaos?"

They all finally heard a voice claiming "Lord Mephistopheles has already left from this place."

Both Kiona and Darrin turned around immediately. And the pair discovered another person walking toward them.

This newcomer was revealed as the wizard called Merlin. He was a young man with light skin, blue eyes, short dark-blue hair, and a thin beard. He had on a black uniform with long blue pads around the wrists. He wore a pair of black gloves and long blue boots. He also had the white skull crest placed on the center of the chest area. And he wore a long blue coat that was opened.

Merlin placed each of his hands inside a pocket of his coat. Then the emotionless Leo turned his head in order to face the newcomer.

Leo's thoughts:

During a windy afternoon two years ago, the villainous Leo walked onto the bridge of Taurus Road.

Leo had on black eyeliner and long black hair with parts of it green. He wore a sleeveless black shirt with a red top, a thick red belt with a large silver buckle, and a pair of tight black pants. He had on black kneepads and long black boots. He also had a long black cloth covering each wrist. And he wore an opened black vest with a thin collar and short sleeves.

He turned his head around and stared at the beautiful city until he found someone standing by his right side.

It was a tall man with a well-built body and blue eyes that were clear like glass. He had light skin, short dark-blue hair, and a thin beard. He wore a collared black shirt with long sleeves. He had on a pair of black pants with a brown belt that had the white skull crest as the buckle. He also had on a pair of short black boots. And he had on a long dark-blue coat with a thick collar.

After he gave a wicked smile, Leo continued staring at him as Merlin stood before the three intruders with no emotion.

Leo asked "Have you decided to play in his senseless game as well?"

On the bridge of Taurus Road during that windy afternoon, the sinister Leo turned to the mysterious man who wore the long blue coat.

"Not many are able to appear among the mortals undetected," implied Leo. "But you... You have the exact ability. And this gift does come from the old version of Earth's magic."

The wizard placed each hand inside a pocket of his coat as he stared at the beautiful Midas City along with Leo.

"Then again," added Leo. "You come from a small faction that uses white sorcery long before meeting with our great lord. And that alone has proven useful to us."

And Leo replied "We finally have our next meeting. But the timing for this should have waited a bit longer."

The other warriors stared at the daring newcomer for a moment.

Then Kiona asked "And who might this be?"

Leo gave a soft chuckle and answered "This man is beyond any of your powers. He is one of the few that was able to withstand me in the past."

Merlin finally gave a calm smile as Leo told his followers "He is one of the inners behind the Agents of Light. He is the youngest to ever master the advanced teachings of the White Magic arts. He is known as the Night Magician. This is the one agent of Mephistopheles called Merlin."

Stormworks - Building Mechanics

The storm works building mechanics are quite complex for most players as there is a lot of settings and different features that you can use. For starters, you do not need to but creations that you create in stormworks can be exported as a obj that then can be used in blender like this :

Anyway, here are the buttons at the top of your screen in the editor. These are the most important buttons that you will need to use. Here is a list of what the buttons do :

1st button is to exit the building menu.

2nd button is to spawn the creation

3rd button is to create a new creation

4th button is to load a creation (this can be your vehicles or workshop vehicles like what is shown below)

5th and 6th button is undo and redo, currently I have not done anything so they are greyed out.

7th button is the select tool which is used to change different features of parts as shown below :

8th button is used to remove blocks from the work area.

9th button is used to paint blocks in the work area. You can also use the colours on the left of the screen if you have a large amount of blocks to be placed as the same colour. For the paint tool, you have 4 different options to pick from :

The first one is normal paint, so just paining a block normally. The second tool is the additive tool which is used to make neon colours on light indicator blocks. The 3rd one replaces the colour that you click with the colours you have set and the 4th one sets the entire plane to a colour.

The 10th tool is used to move objects that you have selected in the work area or the vehicle you are working on at that moment.

The 11th tool is used to create logic, alot like the visual coding in unreal.

For the first one, you have data which sends numbers or on/off signals to different nodes like these :

The 2nd one is composite which is like a array of different variables that you can get using logic. The next is power to power different features of your vehicles. The next is video which you can connect up to a monitor from a camera. The next is audio which can be connected from a mic to a antenna to a speaker and finally the last one is rope.

Next one on the bar at the top is the merge tool (the one with 4 cubes with the orange line above it), If you copy a section of your vehicle. It will not be connected to your original vehicle. so you will need to merge it using that. This is helpful when you are making movable things on your vehicles like tank tracks.

The one to the right of that (the dotted line rectangle) is the select tool, used to select different things of your creation and either copy it or cut it.

And finally, the micro processor one. Out of all of them, this one is the most complex

A micro-processor is used to combine all of the normal logic nodes into 1 node, allowing the player to create a more compact creation. The majority of this section makes sense to me HOWEVER you can also code in LUA for even more complex creations :

This is relatively simple, however it gets a lot worse. LUA is normally used to create GUI elements on a screen, but some people calculate the protectory of a missile and other things inside of LUA. This is what the micro processor blueprint looks like :

You have your taskbar with all of the nodes that you can use (you can add more by pressing the blue circle to the right of the task bar). The red lines are ON/OFF, green is numbers, purple is composite and the blue ones are video.

Going back to the main building screen :

On the right hand side it is a bit more simple.

The first one being symmetry :

The first one is in the x axis, 2nd in the Y axis and third in the Z axis. The last button is used to move the symmetry mode :

The next button down on the list im not sure about so I wont be talking about it.

After that are camera controls, In there you can change your camera to either be rotating around a block or to be a free cam.

After that is a button to toggle the centre of mass. This is very helpful with vehicles to stop them from being unbalanced due to the engines.

The 2nd to last button toggles the outside view so you can compare your build to objects in the world (You can not see players or spawned in vehicles/structures) :

And the last button shows the warnings for blocks to tell you if you did not connect power to it or data e.t.c.

Overall, for stormworks building editor I will be taking inspiration from their colour tools and maybe power in the future, however I find this is way too complex for my game at the moment. I only have 14 weeks at this moment and making all of that would be time consuming and will push me past my 14 week deadline.
