don’t you love when you’re casually reading a random poem and suddenly come across a line that burrows into your bones and becomes the definition of your heart for the next 17 years

I didn't tell you when I look at the stars and feel the moon it's light i feel reborn and at peace.
I didn't tell you that your eyes remind me of the beautiful dark sea when there is a storm.
I didn't tell you that your smile reminded me of life .
Your heart reminds me that there's still hope .
That's why i look at the stars and wish because it reminds me of your soul because you give me peace and hope .
You are the wish that I wished for.

Watch me struggle as I can't come up with stuff for the last couple of days
Wilfred: what are you doing tomorrow?
Heath: hmm....probably reading under the tree.
Wilfred: the tree?
Heath: yeah, my favourite tree in all of Camelot. It's a secret spot.
Wilfred: oh, nice....um....
Heath: ....can you keep a secret?
Wilfred: absolutely! We can read poetry together!
Heath: what!? *Blushes*
Wilfred: NO, NOT LIKE THAT

Poetry books should always be the perfect size to fit in one hand.
I should be able to hold the book in one hand and a nice little drink or snack in the other, and it should be comfortable to read.
Anything else is an attack to me personally

Love. What is it? How do you feel that it's your love? Nobody could be sure that your love it's your final searching. Many obstacles which you have over come and that you have to go through in your life.
These threads lead you to your destiny.
Many of you will say: "yes, my love is my destiny."
Inspired by my book 'I wanna be enough for you, my love'. Love Poems. May be you'll find sensitive and responsive in it.

Tripping Over the Rules of Poetry
I wonder who speaks,
demands of all I was taught -
imposing moment
stealing the simplicity
of the opening flower.

"I would really like to grab your hand and lead you to the park so we can have a picnic under a big tree and read books while you are between my legs, I'll read you my fav poetry that I have discovered recently.. I hope that you like it. Then maybe we can just sit there in the grass until the moon dances across the sky, I'd like that.. would you be down?"
The thing is.. I just want to spend time with you, we can do that or anything else on your mind - eUë

"So we floated out of sight into the unmarked air
and only our voices survived
like thistle-seed flying this way and that
[...]
if only the birds had subtitles"
lines from alice oswald's nobody. these days i look in books with restless eyes and most of what i read is kind of in the dark, but some lines lit up. i stretch for them, but also they want to be seen.
