What’s the biggest difference between wwx and jgy, morally speaking? Sooo many people on here think they’re exactly the same that it’s starting to mess with my head.

It's silly to even compare them. JGY is straight-up evil. And no, I don't believe in the whole 'circumstances made him that way' bs.

The biggest difference? WWX is never selfish or self-serving. He is absolutely selfless, with full understanding of what is right and wrong. And even if it costs him everything, he will never waver from that path.

JGY is absolutely selfish. He doesn't care who he hurts and tramples over to achieve his goals. He is smart enough to understand what is right and wrong and deliberately chooses the wrong. Even when he has other choices. Even when he could've avoided doing the wrong thing.

And he does it almost gleefully.

One gave up his life to protect a child that wasn't even of his own blood.

Another had his own child, and many other children, killed for selfish agenda.

I always keep saying this. Just look at Lan Sizhui. He is the living proof of Wei Wuxian's strong moral core. Without WWX, LSZ wouldn't be alive.

Just how many little boys and girls did JGY kill? He wiped up entire clans.

But anyway, he's an intriguing character getting reincarnated just so he could fight Sukuna (that bitch, I'm so mad at him rn. No dinner for you, Mister!). I just want to know more about those reincarnated sorcerers more and quite frankly, he's the most intriguing to me.

Like, I have so many questions. The fuck did Two-Face do to you? Were you ex bffs, too? From enemy clans? Makes sense cause Sukuna used to be human, right? Was he? Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm thinking it was mentioned at one point lol. This ties up with my fascination towards Sukuna really cause Kashimo is basically one of the people who met Sukuna during the Heian period and I guess, maybe, in my head, he would complete Sukuna's background story/character arc. Or Kenjaku's?? Ew 🤢, but you knooowww?? And he's still around, too, so... Yo, Gege! Hi! 🙄

As a medium for fan fiction, I've also thought of writing about Kashimo. Reincarnated version but Heian era. Something like that but really no solid plot yet. Sorry, old man Kashimo ehehe but yeah...I haven't really gotten around actually exploring that.

Hi again 😁Oh gosh, no that is impossible to narrow down I'm afraid. I've been incredibly lucky to cross paths with so many lovely, verbose, enthusiastic readers on this platform. Everyone stands out, honestly. Horny, funny, kind, witty, random smooshes on the keyboard. I want to give them cookies and anything their hearts desire.

And this is actually a perfect time to remind you if you're a reader-only that your comments and interaction and insights and nonsense and geeking out matters - it really does. It's the breath in the lungs of fandom. Even if it's one off. Or if it's a ritual for you. You matter a lot to writers.

I recognise every single regular reader who pops up in my notes, and it always makes me so excited. People like @skymoonandstardust and @peaches1958 and @thedistractedagglomeration and @yelkmelk and @mischief2sarawr that have been there since my very early tumbleweed days and still manage to make me cackle😊❤️ like a lil campfire. Just cause I’m curious, what is the age gap between Loki and the reader in relinquish the crown? Cuz I imagine they have a significant age gap because she’s his niece and all. Or how old are they, either in Asgardian or human years?

The age gap is approximately 2000 years 😳🥴

It's only been outright alluded to once, in 'crimson threads' when Frigga mentions that before Loki left for his nearly millennium-long mission across the Realms, his soul's thread was still nowhere to be found, and YN makes a joke about "the uproar from Midgardians when they see the age gap is 4-digits long"

But for the most part I did and I do what I can to not mention it too much, just have that information be hanging around and "felt" by readers whenever YN calls Thor "Father".

I love the story you’ve developed in A Shattered Peace! What inspired you to write it? And what inspired your characterization of Amara? :)

Thank you so much for this, anon! I'm glad you're enjoying ASP.

The story itself was inspired by my mind refusing to leave fanfiction even when I wasn't reading it lmao. I was already obsessed with Wolffe and knew if I were to write something it would would be about him. There's so much to explore with and make up for him during the TCW era because we have so little, and I liked the idea of following him from the beginning of the war all the way through to the end. I also liked the idea of giving him someone who could both counter and match his grumpiness, which is where Amara comes in.

Originally, ASP was going to be xReader. As I drafted the first few chapters, though, I found myself imagining a very specific character. I wanted to give her space to exist on the page as herself, and for readers to hopefully appreciate her for who she is, not who she might be. Amara loves being a Jedi; she wouldn't want to be anything else. But that love can coexist with a sense of disturbance at the position the Jedi have gotten themselves in. We see this with a lot of the Jedi. We also see it with many of the clones. Amara and my version of Wolffe are all about exploring that very important similarity while navigating the many differences that still surround them.

I've got a new chapter coming in the next week or so, and I'm excited for the story to continue to unfold. Thanks again for this question, I really appreciate it!

Summary: Din comes home to find you covered with marks that were self made and blood everywhere.

Warnings: Bullying, not eating, self harm, near suicide, passing out, break downs, LMK if i missed anything!

Din’s been gone for a couple days. Leaving Grogu with you. You had just put the child to sleep, sighing as you reach for the blanket. You had recently just ran out of anti-depressants. Not like they helped much anyways. You haven’t ate for a couple days. and you lie in bed. Not knowing why you felt so heavy, so mopey. You just didn't know why. But yet, all you wanted was Din. Din to tell you everything will be ok. You needed him now. You had to get some reassurance. Because the only coping skill you had was one that could lead to your own death. Not like you’d care much. You had grabbed the small blade. sighing as you looked in a mirror and slipped out of your shirt. Looking at your belly you couldn’t help but feel your throat become lumpy. You were so disgusting…? Why? You sniffled and just fell with your back to the wall. Crying, and coughing. Your body couldn’t be the reason Din was with you right? He must just he using you. You look at the blade in your hand and just stared.

Before you knew it, you were coughing and wheezing. you went to far. bleeding like crazy. Veins have been slashed open. Leaving you to bleed out. You couldn’t help but start to cry. It hurt to do so. You look down at the puddle of blood. You were feeling dizzy. Like you were going to pass out. You as well felt nauseous. You sigh. You remember being a kid, bullied at a young age. Being told to kill your self for your looks, and body. You didn’t know why. Why you? What did you do? Did you deserve this? You didn't know. Nor did you care. You sniffled as you took the blade to your neck. Trying to hold your cries. Soon, you heard heavy foot steps. You panicked. you didn’t know what to do. You were seeing white dots everywhere. You knew you were passing out. You feel your eyelids heavy. The sound of the footsteps becoming louder. Then the last thing you heard was a faint, scared sounding, ’Mesh’la?!”

Its been a couple days. You woke up and groaned from pain. looking at your arms. Wrapped and Bandaged up. You saw Grogu. He cooed at you and it made the Mandolorian turn to you. ”Mesh’la? Are you alright..? Why would you do that?”, he was panicked. Scared, he had the right to be. ”Din…?”, you mumbled, looking at him. ”Yes. What made you think you should kill yourself? Kriff…i dont know what i’d do without you.” He confessed. Looking at you and grabbing your hand with his gloved one. You shook your head and sighed. ”It’s been hard..” You mumbled, frowning ad you looked at him. ”Im sorry..” you whisper, feeling like you were about to break down. Thinking you were going to be scolded. Instead, you got a hug and a ”Please…i love you..dont do it again.”

4. What are your top 3 comfort reads?

For me, a comfort read is something that helps me feel at home in my own skin and/or remind me of things that are important to me and/or make me laugh. Three of my top choices are probably:

Komarr by Lois McMaster Bujold (or a Civil Campaign, or Memory; all are in her Vorkosigan Saga and all are DELIGHTFUL) - this series is deep in my brain. Quotes from it have helped me make hard decisions and supported me during times of change. But also, Bujold is a great writer and these books are funny and witty and honest. These three are from the middle of the series, when the protagonist is facing down more domestic issues than he has in his military past, and he’s struggling more than ever.

The Hands of the Emperor by Victoria Goddard - I was hesitant to list this one because I’ve gone off on this one before and there are so many good books out there, but this one is comforting because it makes me believe that better worlds are possible. In a 900+ page book about love and identity and culture, Goddard also managed to fit a beautiful depiction of what universal basic income can do for a society. It’s really hard to make something happen in real life if we can’t vividly imagine it first, and she’s done a great job making that imagination possible. This book helps me sleep at night.

For a fun third, I’m going to pick Bea Wolf by Zach Weinersmith. I’m a low-key Beowulf nerd (never formally studied it, wasn’t my language or region of focus) but I have a lot of affection for it and actually own 4+ translations into modern English. And while I love the rhythms of Headley (“made sashimi out of sea-monsters”) and the steadiness of Heaney (“in the night-sea/slaughtered sea-brutes”) and the straightforwardness of Raffel (“hunting monsters/out of the ocean”), Weinersmith is playing a very different piece of music on a whole new kazoo, and it’s FUN.

6. What is your favorite book to recommend?

I am basically an evangelist for Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers. I have bought copies just to have it on hand so when I talk to someone who I think should read it, I can just hand it to them. It’s short, it’s about the meaning of life and pursuing purpose and what it means to be a person. It’s also about making tea and being in nature and valuing comfort.

1, Do you know how many works your read this year?

I don't know the exact number but more than 100, probably close to 200 fanfics. I'd probably think I hadn't read enough even if I got to 1,000. Unfortunately, I had a months-long break, otherwise I would have read many more this year. And I still have to finish reading Allende's Zorro book.

13, What trope do you think you read the most of?

Hero, antihero, tragic backstory it's ok as answer? 😆 Every time I come across the word tropes I go into mental crisis. Danny.exe stopped working. 😵‍💫 I honestly try to read everything that catches my interest even when it only does so momentarily. Like after a week I don't care anymore (it rarely happens). 🤔

21, WIP's or completed works?

Both but I'll say complete works, because lately I only feel like reading WIPs if they haven't been updated for a month or two at most. If I see WIPs that have not been updated for more than a year, most of the time I avoid reading them. I don't like being left without an ending. I once waited since 2005 for a WIP fanfic to be finished and when it happened like two years ago, I didn't even like it anymore. 😭

I hope my answers are not disappointing. I find different explanations on tropes so I hope I didn't go off topic with my answer. Sorry in case. 🙏
