50,000 Steps
On Sunday, I walked some 37km. It was one of the best days of my life.  I walk a lot, and I walk everywhere. However, I have never walked such a distance, and in one go. The best I have done was around 20km on one lazy Sunday.  The walk was partly inspired by Tyler […] 50,000 Steps Like, Shares and Follow Please don’t forget to comment

How can you reach your goals?
Going from idea to starting up is not always easy. Entrepreneurs have a million ideas and dreams but can be hindered by the lack of focus or inspiration needed for them all to take off successfully on their merit.
Sometimes just getting started feels tough as you're pushing your limits with what might seem like an unattainable goal; there are also other times when we know our true passion lies somewhere else yet still find ourselves unable (or perhaps unready)to make changes until later on down the road.
You can become inspired to work toward how to meet your goals by developing a clear picture of what you want in business and life. Developing written down vision will help the subconscious mind grab onto this vision and strengthen self-discipline & inner motivation while also keeping it front and center for daily reading so that any obstacles or barriers are defeated before they even arise!
Tumblr media
The key to success is to find your inner guidance and follow that lead. When we tap into the inspiration behind our goals and create a well-balanced vision for ourselves, it becomes much easier to navigate through life's challenges confidently!
Keep reading the blog to learn about a few ways to create plans to reach your goals.
Prioritize:
The key to achieving your goals is identifying what's most important and then focusing on it. So, first, figure out where you want the bulk of your time spent - typically, this would be reaching one or two quarterly targets in a specific area (like revenue). Then, next week identify three action steps that will get us closer; if something unexpected comes up during those next few days, just adjust accordingly!
Relationships:
Building meaningful business relationships is essential to any organization's success. It can be difficult, but the payoff in positive impact and opportunities for growth makes it worth fighting through those tough moments!
Who are some people you should work on building strong bonds with? First, think about your target market-their friends and family members might offer great leverage when trying to make connections happen faster than ever before (think: getting an introduction).
Habits:
We all have a choice to make. We can stay stuck in bad habits or commit, focus and take action towards changing our lives for the better by transforming how to meet your goals-to-four key behaviors every single year with measurable results over two or three years, which will lead you down an exciting new path of possibilities!

I’m feeling confident at the moment and was just asked: “If you knew you wouldn't fail, what would do?”
Well dang, I’m just gunna share everything that comes to mind. I am currently working on some of them, others just stay consistently on my mind.
It took me several extra years to finish my Bachelor’s because I tried to present to the outside world a strong independent brave mom who was kicking ass. Internally, I was facing so much doubt, fear, trauma, frustrations, depression, and self-esteem issues, most people would have given up. I fought it by educating myself, reaching out, going to therapy, positive self-talk, and writing.

In no particular order, things I want to do and think about.
Be more consistent, organized, and have a better routines
Buy a camper
Homeschool my children more than traditional
Get a personal fitness coach… then train to be a wellness coach when I am closer to reaching my physical goals
Take classes for massage
Take classes on sewing
Be more open about things I like
Share my mind and voice more, maybe go back to training
I would love to go back to college
Sell products on the side
Open a group home with outreach and day services
Develop curriculum for at higher risk populations
Be educated to respond to traumatic scenes
Help Provide mindfulness training to teachers
have a blog with the purpose of sharing my thoughts (and making money, cha-Ching)
Consider being part a podcast
Write a book especially with a co-author
Affiliate, promote, assist, and represent my partner’s business
Get married again with lots of love and support, pre-nups, lots of communication, boundaries, goals, money, limits, and swimming/vacations

Reaching Your Wordcount Goal
Have you ever been in a situation where you just can’t seem to get a scene to fill much more than a page or two? Or you’re at 500 words when you want to be at 2500 and it feels impossible to get there? Here’s some common problems that may be holding you back:
1. Your pacing is too fast
Pacing is probably the number one controller of word count. If it’s too fast, amazing scenes that could take up 5000 words are going to be 500. I talk a lot more about controlling pacing here, but essentially, try to use your MCs senses and internal dialogue to create ‘space’ between physical events of the scene. In an action-packed scene that should fly by a little faster, cut these parts out and focus more on the physical action instead.
2. You aren’t utilizing the setting
Similar to pacing, you may be underutilizing the elements of the scene. Make sure you’re incorporating all of the senses—sight, sound, smell, taste if applicable, feeling. Even things such as the vibe or non-physical feeling of a place add something to the setting. Try to think of unique details that make a place more interesting—get specific!
3. You aren’t checking in with your MC
Memories, internal dialogue, ruminating and ideas are all things that bring us closer with the MCs and add to a scene. You can use these moments to develop their character, their dynamics with others, foreshadow or hint towards upcoming plot, or add or strengthen any other elements of the narrative. These check ins ultimately allow you to explore the unique perspective your MC has on a situation, and are a great opportunity for words!
4. Your scene went off a few lines back
Maybe it was a weird turn in dialogue or a missed opportunity, but sometimes just rewriting the scene and actively trying to take it in a different direction can dislodge something that’s sticking the gears. Don’t be afraid to write through different paths and options and find the one that works the best!
What are some ways you find makes a scene go easier?

had the unique experience today of being lucky enough to win a plush kirby prize in an ichiban kuji that is Perfect for holding on my lap while I watch things on my laptop, while the something that I was in the midst of watching today was the seemingly most R-rated show netflix has to offer
this on its own is not much of an issue, except for the fact that due to this plush's design and how i had my hands folded over it it looks like kirby is watching along as well, leading to a particularly fascinating contrast in media consumption- here's a visual aid I put together demonstrating this phenomenon:

Here's the thing about politics, and ultimately, the world: you are going to be biased, and you are going to have a limited understanding of others to an extent. The key is to not deny that this exists because you will be ignorant when you are biased and limited in your worldview.
Yes, absolutely listen to multiple voices and points of view and a variety of different types of people. But know that this isn't the same as erasing all biases and "self-centered" views. Strive to do better without denying that you are fallible.
