I think it's funny how in the comics, Flint Paper is drawn to be this super handsome man but in the Telltale games he looks like Popee the Performer's fucked up uncle

I've noticed how Sam's very colourful exclamations and explanations are the Exact Opposite of how a typical Noir Detective would narrate and I love that so much

The typical Noir Monologue uses short, punctual sentences. With simple vocabulary that the average joe would be able to understand easily. Also heavy use of similes and metaphors

Sam's speech on the other hand will try to fit in as many linguistic devices as he damn well pleases, including but not limited to rhymes, asonance, consonance, and alliteration, and he uses it to describe the Absolute Weirdest Scenarios possible with vocabulary that is full of long and uncommon words that many people may not understand (I never heard of the word "bailiwick" before I played S3. I still don't know what it means)

Just realized today that the “Collector friends” that Sam was referring to in Poker Night 2 are most likely Sam clones that survived the eldritch attack on the city

#Knowing that there were a few that Did survive kinda makes me Really happy ngl #And Now I have So many questions. Like what are they like after?? Are they still the same or did they like. develop their own personalities #Are they finally fully clothed? I like to think that Ridge has a greenhouse where he grows flowers, most notably roses. He sells them to Chips’ flower shop, and bc of this he’s gotten to know Chips and Smiley well

#one day Ridge asks Chips about flower language bc he wants to Impress someone #Chips tells him he's been reading too much fanfics bc florists don't really Do That and Smiley is cackling #but Ridge decides to do some research abt it and that's how he started his rose garden. He looks after it meticulously #then one day Sly keep on receiving bouquets from someone. no one knows who but Sly's pretty chill with it #Eventually a lot of small things add up and Sly Realizes it's Ridge but he doesn't say anything #later Sly meets Ridge in private and gives him a new rang with the same kind of roses in the bouquets painted on it and Ridge Loves it #they start dating after but they keep it secret until abt a year or so bc they don't know how ppl would React and wanted to play it safe #don't mind me I'm just. writing up hcs and stuff to distract me from distressing stuff lol #raytaku.txt
