Hi @bluejay-flies, I hope this isn't weird but I saw about your Aurorus mewtwo fusion fav and struggles and thought well hey I've been drawing a lot of mewtwo designs including fusions, I could draw you a little something and uh then I went hog wild with color options for you, the design is completely yours and you can pick whichever color version you want! (hell mix the colors and such I don't mind!)

Of course if these aren't really the vibe and you're not a fan of the design that's completely okay there's no obligation to accept and I won't take offence I had fun and got to do a fun drawing exercise either way :)

Oh yeah because I love Pokemon AUs I was thinking about what partner Pokemon Riku would have and as much as I wanna give him like Charizard or Garchomp (I think he'd have a Garchomp but it wouldn't be his partner), the best partner for him is Urshifu, Rapid Strike Style specifically.

so i replayed pokemon emerald a few years ago (on my fake copy no less even though i have a real one, didnt realize til recently ANYWAYS) and although i tell myself there might still be more i want to do in game im thinking im gonna go through the tedious process of transferring them from emerald to pokemon bank/scarlet

To answer a couple of questions that were asked in the tags of my Thomas Jefferson intro

a) for @astronomicalgarbage, who asks if my Jefferson has a thing for Mac and Cheese:

Absofuckinglutely. There's an ongoing fight between me (Canadian) and him (American) about whether Kraft Dinner counts as mac and cheese or an abomination before the lord, and it's one of our favourite meaningless battles. We also correct each other's spelling on papers of words like favourite/favorite and colour/color.

b) for @tex-treasures, who wanted to know our favourite Pokemon and our favourite art periods!

My favourite Pokemon is Ditto, same as it is IRL ^-^ I also have a soft spot for Caterpie and Eevee. My favourite art period is the Pre-Raphaelites.

Thomas's favourite Pokemon are uhhhhhh Luxray, Rayquaza, and he likes Vulpix content. I feel like I don't have the actual knowledge to say what an actual fan like him would like! He likes Neo-Classicalism and chibi art -_-

c) finally, the big question from several people, IS THIS AN APRIL FOOL'S PRANK?

Short answer: yes, I thought it would be fun to do for April Fool's, Miku Binder Thomas Jefferson is not going to be a member of my F/O list. But I do appreciate everyone who turned out to support me <3 <3

Long answer: LMM's version of Thomas Jefferson was genuinely one of the first ten characters I drew selfship art with. As much as I like the aesthetics of the character, I simply have no desire to dive back into that fandom and the politics thereof. My Hamilton/Les Mis era of my life was one of rampant idealism and huge energy and I feel very far away from that earnest wide-eyed first year who was making eight-hour drives to the capital to wave signs on the weekend.

If I was going to selfship with LMM's Thomas Jefferson, I would probably make my own modern design without some of the details from Miku Binder TJeff, but with the same nostalgia for the exaggerated characteristics of the Hamilton fandom (ie. Alex never sleeps, Laurens loves turtles, Lafayette is nonbinary, Thomas loves mac and cheese, everyone has dated everyone else).

But ultimately I'm not going to put in that work. Suffice to say that although this was an April Fool's prank, it was with a lot of heart and genuine enjoyment that I got to explore this dynamic!

Thinking about my Bridged Toxicity AU’s later stages where Kieran becomes less and less human and I am having Ideas :>c

Since “normal” animals don’t exactly exist in the Pokémon world (at least not in my view of it), he’s pretty much becoming part Pokemon, yeah? So that means he’d have a typing. So, what typing would BT!Kieran be?

Long post ahead, so:

Since the whole situation is caused by the Toxic Chains and Pecharunt, Poison is a given. The second type is the more interesting one to think about.

Going through Kieran’s Indigo Disk team, the types he uses the most are Dark (Grimmsnarl and Incineroar), and Dragon (Dragonite and his ace Hydrapple). If we include his Teal Mask team, we can add Grass to the list (Shiftry and Dipplin), and add Shiftry to the Dark list. He doesn’t really have a type consistency, but it’s a decent starting point.

To keep in line with the types of the Loyal 3 and Pecharunt all being non-elemental types (Fighting, Psychic, Fairy, and Ghost), we can eliminate Grass from the options.

Dark and Dragon are both possibilities. When we look at things associated with each type in-universe though, it gets interesting.

Dark types are associated with evil and deception, for clear reasons. Functionality-wise in game, they tend to be more technical in their usage. Moves with special effects like Swagger and Parting Shot, and unique abilities like Zorua and Zoroark’s Illusion are some of the more iconic aspects of Dark types.

Dragon types on the other hand are more associated with brute force and power. Many legendaries are Dragon type, and so are the majority of pseudo-legendaries. Dragon types are known for often being some of the most offensively capable Pokémon (Take, for example, Mega Rayquaza being banned from many of even the highest VGC rankings because of how overpowered it was).

Kieran is extremely power hungry here; wanting to defeat the MC no matter what, going so far as to make the deal with Pecharunt and becoming chained. Power was his desire, and Pecharunt’s poison brings out and amplifies others’ desires. Plus, his ace is a Dragon type.

So, I’d say that BT!Kieran would be a Poison/Dragon type, if he were to ever be assigned a typing. This might not ever be relevant to the story, but it will probably influence future design choices.
