i just realized that in season 6 ep 13 that’s an unsub called Ray Donovan, same surname as Maeve
imagine if they are related how crazy it would be
is that the Ray and Sid episode where they're going through the steps ?? but yeah that would have been such a cool link and maybe have made the Maeve plot line worth it. and it could have been some cool angst because spencer would be worried about what she'd think about his previous drug addiction

Let’s Talk About Coconut Fred
I wouldn't say its been a while since I did a review, but there is a considerable gap between this and my last. A lot is happening in my life, I'm set to finish my last term in grad school this Sunday, I'm waiting for an update on a part time job and I'm gonna celebrate by binging some movies on Tubi and YouTube, and since I'm facing some writers block on my last assignment, I figured I'd vent about something.
Remember Coconut Fred: Fruit Salad Island? Me neither. It was that year I moved into a new house, at that point I was just watching Cartoon Network and never really had a reason to watch KidsWB. First I ever heard of it was by chance when I was googling KidsWB's program list, long before this show became a whipping boy of some degree.
I'll get into a contributing factor to me making this review later, but for now, back then I saw at least two episodes in full, Bad Apple, and something about a tropical resort. I had some experience with the show, and I still feel like there's little to show for it. But let's get right into it.
What is?
The mid-2000s saw a small rise in shows with overly optimistic main characters in summery or tropical settings, ballpark to around 2004 when the SpongeBob movie was released, or perhaps when the show was at its peak, before it killed everyone's brains. It's not definite, but imagine if other creators assumed the show was gonna end after the movie, and they wanted to create the next big thing to fill the hole set to be left, a lot of faces would go red over the hindsight.
The show is credited to two creators, Don Oriolo and Sammy Oriti, with development credited to Ray DeLaurentis. Oriti has a very thin filmography, to say the least. He is tied to two obscure films, and this is the only cartoon he ever worked on. Oriolo has a more interesting past, having worked on Campfire Stories, a cheap horror anthology which is notable for being where Charlie Day met Rob McElhenney, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
However, Oriolo does have some experience with animation, primairly working on The Twisted Tales of Felix the Cat and other stuff relating to the property. Oriti and Oriolo do have a big connection, where Oriti was given a special thanks on Felix the Cat Saves Christmas. Oriolo was also behind I Am a Gummy Bear, the music video and the movie. So, quite an oddball pair and one has dirtier hands than the other.
They conjured up a concept and pitched it to someone in the business, in this case, Ray DeLaurentis, and what has he done? Well aside from some work on the 80s revival of Alfred Hitchcock Presents and Providence, he created and wrote the Bubsy pilot, was a common writer on the later seasons of Fairly Odd Parents, wrote at least one episode for Bunsen is a Beast, also wrote for Shaggy and Scooby Doo Get a Clue, whatever was wrong with it, oh yeah, and he wrote Bah Humduck!, the worst Christmas Carol adaptation of all time.
On the upside he has also worked on Xaolin Showdown and Ozzy and Drix, among other stuff that may be considered decent. It seems beforehand he had worked at Warner Bros. Animation hence how this landed in KidsWB's crosshairs.
What makes this show interesting is that it features both American and Canadian voice actors. Our lead is played by Rob Paulsen, keep that in mind, and I believe one character was played by Danny Cooksey. For the rest, we have Michael Donovan, who has gone between American and Canadian productions, Brian Drummond, the first voice of Knuckles the Echidna, Tracey Moore, one point Princess Peach as well as The Geek from Sam and Max: Freelance Police, Kelly Sheridan, who played Diana in Martin Mystery, Britt McKillip, who played Hannah in the Scary Godmother movies, and lastly Eric Bauza, who just two years prior played Stimpy in Ren and Stimpy: Adult Party Cartoon, and would later lent his voice to Slab in Cans Without Labels, the final nail in the coffin for John Kricaflusi. He's also in far too much stuff to mention. He was once based in Canada, only appearing on Adult Party Cartoon because one of the studios behind the animation was based in that country, and the rest is somehow history.
What About?
This is a comedy involving an overly optimistic and naive coconut attempting to spice up life on a tropical island full of living fruits, and of course one guy will have none of it. It seems every episode operates in a bubble, nothing occurring being of any consequence in another.
The first episode I saw, I forgot the title of, and... it wasn't anything to write home about. It helped introduce me to most key characters, for however basic they are. Not even something made for kids in mind, but are you telling me three dimensions is too mature for children? I'm just saying.
However, it was when I saw another episode that things went south, and I became better acquainted to Fred's brand of annoyance, either that or I saw how weak the writing of the show could be. Latter first, they incorporated a running gag where a bully calls Fred a mean name, but it turns out there is an existing character with that name and Fred assumes that's who he's referring to. The former, it's how Fred goes about carrying out the jokes, naivety can only get you so far, and the only way its constant use can work is if the character happens to be aware of it and is just using it to get a rise out of people. I'm just saying, regardless of it being a TV show sometimes you go through something so many times you attempt to rationalize it so you can justify the time you wasted.
But cards on the table, that was the last episode I saw in full, I gave up on a third one and years later, someone did a review of the show.
That's really all I can say about the show, it's annoying and there's no nuance to it, the plots are too weak to hold over flat personalities, likely dumbed down for a lack of true thought, owed to pedigrees of mediocre productions, or in two instances, having little connection to the medium at all. However, that isn't to say a cartoon is automatically going to suck if someone involved has no experience, but that really only applies to writers.
For instance, there's an episode of CatDog, Sneezie Dog, whose writer only had credits to live-action productions, and that episode was decent. There's a Hey Arnold! episode, Magic Show, written by a novelist who had no other experience with cartoons. It can be done, but it depends on what you're bringing to the table.
This is basically the opposite of Mike, Lu and Og, as in compared to another show set on an island that is considered mediocre at best, this is worse than that. Mike, Lu and Og at the very least had more experienced animators and artists, or maybe I'm trying to say something nice about it before the influx of negative reviews bury it, and because I did a review of it that's now lost to time.
But to give a proper summary, this show is like a beehive on a tree well out of walking range. It isn't doing anything, and interacting with it is always gonna be consequential.
But that's not why we're here
There's a bigger reason why I decided to make this, and why it's classified as a "Let's Talk About" rather than a review. There has been an ongoing stigma against this show, which to this day I still don't understand. This is apparently a rip-off of SpongeBob SquarePants.
Now, look, I'm probably the last person who would ever consider something a rip-off. Hell, I unironically watch Irate Gamer and consider AVGN to be overrated and overprotected, why else do people suddenly not have the time to watch a documentary detailing a decline in quality? My point is, I've stopped taking the rip-off label seriously long ago, so when something is accused of being one, I'm always going to see it with some level of skepticism.
Which is good, because considering this show a rip-off is a stretch so big that it'd be easier to call MrEnter a rip-off of Spax3. It's enough to vindicate the sheer volume of stupid that hit Johnny Test, and many asses are still stinging from that era, at least people are becoming kinder to earlier seasons of it though.
Now, I didn't take it seriously at first, I just thought this was general idiocy on the Reception Wiki's part, which is where I first heard of it, but no, people are dead set on framing it as a rip-off.
But let's look into the accusations, or the bigger ones. They went out of their way to claim characters are rip-offs of others.
Coconut Fred is considered a rip-off of SpongeBob, the character I mean. Coconut Fred is not a frycook, let alone employed in a consistent job. He does not have any hobbies that consist of catching things with nets. He does not have a pet that is the equivalent of a cat. He does not have proper buck teeth. He does not have blue irises. He is not square nor is he a sponge. Also, you're basically implying SpongeBob is insufferably annoying if you think Fred is a copy of him.
Slip and Slide are considered rip-offs of Patrick on the grounds of both being idiots. They're two characters, they have a clear Southern drawl, and few strokes of genius. Otherwise by their logic, every dumb character is a rip-off of Patrick.
Mr. Greenrind, you would think would be considered a rip-off of Squidward, but no, people call him a Mr. Krabs rip-off. I've seen only one episode with Mr. Greenrind, he's not greedy, he doesn't own a restaurant, and basically you've never seen a grumpy man in your life.
This last one is absolutely hilarious, Bingo Cherry, a sentient cherry who can speak proper English and works as an assistant to the lead grump... is apparently a rip-off of a house pet. When I first heard the claim of this being a rip-off, seeing the reasons, I thought it was just an elaborate joke poking fun at the Johnny Test hate crowd, but no, this is considered serious enough.
Next, the setting, Coconut Fred takes place on an island, above water. SpongeBob takes place in a city, under water. Coconut Fred and other characters are fruits, SpongeBob characters are fish or some variation of existing sea creatures.
I'll give the Johnny Test crowd some credit, it's quite a coincidence that the smartest characters in that show happen to be red-heads with glasses, maybe that's why Slip and Slide were considered rip-offs based on that technicality?
But fine, I'll play your game, I'll go one ahead and say this isn't a rip-off of SpongeBob, this is more like a rip-off of Camp Lazlo, but let me explain.
Lazlo and Fred are insufferably annoying naive optimists, Chip and Skip and Slip and Slide are dumb as dirt twins, Mr. Greenrind and Lumpus are grumpy leaders of their base of operations and are at odds with the insufferably annoying naive optimists, and both have impish sidekicks who often side with the insufferably annoying naive optimists.
It's honestly hilarious how people are quick to suddenly make comparisons where they don't usually fit, but are just as quick to ignore more blatant similarities for other characters. For instance, Bessie Higgenbottom and Penny Leftowitz give off some clear SpongeBob and Patrick vibes, and I saw at least one person immediately deny it. Either people are blind or they want to protect those quirky girls Twitter users like to wax over.
Sorry about that tangent, I wanted to get that off my chest for a long while.
Now, you may be thinking that I'm ignoring an elephant in the room, that MrEnter probably got these claims going. But let me say this, he didn't originate many of the attitudes animation fans had at the time, he just helped them to spread. People have already hated Breadwinners and the new SpongeBob episodes long before Enter gave their thoughts, now yes, I hold him up for not helping quell those claims sooner, but there is one person who is consistently credited to getting the rip-off claims going, and what Enter probably referred to in his review.
Not a reviewer, not someone on the internet, but an industry professional.
Rob Paulsen.
At one point, Rob Paulsen claimed that the show was a rip-off of SpongeBob SquarePants, for some reason. Best case, he is unaware of how little braincells the animation community has, I mean why else does AniMat have a following? But look, if you think about either show, it is easy to see where either contrasts.
You compare this show to one where there're more differences than similarities if you think hard enough (which is apparently a sin in the animation community these days), and again, more obvious examples fly right over your head.
It has gotten to a point where people claim this is a rip-off based on Rob Paulsen's word alone. And with that, I'd just like to place myself on the hill I'm ready to die on. Rob Paulsen's an idiot. Either he didn't look deeper into where the claims come from, or he just wants to look cool for animation fans. Either he's stupid, or does not have any grasp on grander implications. He was the same guy who agreed to have any part in Doug Walker's career... I can't think of anything else.
Or maybe most SpongeBob fans aren't very bright. I mean, they can't even detect sarcasm, and they have idiots like MoBros and LambHoot assing it up without remorse. A lot of shit has happened with the SpongeBob fandom over the past few years, and Rob Paulsen gave them more ammunition with the most baseless idea yet.
I'm harping on this because it's dangerous to hold something against the show based on one man's word alone. It's one guy's word, we don't know his philosophy or reason for saying these things, and if it's a joke it would be spread so much that people would forget the meaning it originally had. I mean, for instance, Brian Posehn only dunked on Nickelback because they were overplayed on the radio, and you can fill in the blanks.
Final Thoughts
On any other day, this would just be an incredibly obnoxious show that is rightly ragged on, for better or worse. However, when people decide to base their views of it on what another said, it ruins the prospect, because half the time the grander context is sorely missed. I don't care what Rob Paulsen says, his word is meaningless because it was done for validation rather than seeing what he has done.
This is just a case of favoritism and ignorance. If this was considered a Camp Lazlo rip-off then that would be fine as that and this have too many similarities to ignore. To whoever got those crazy allegations going, I hope their career is as troubled as Cam Clarke's.

Prompt: The year is 2184, average earth temperature has doubled, only a few million people remain on earth. A green-movement managed to travel back to 2022. What are they doing?
Tumblr media
Greener Future
A short written by KD ♡
Marcy Greene looked around the peculiar place with amazement and wonderment, stepping one by one as she walked off the road. Her eyes widened and her ear twitched as she took in the sight. The sky was a full blue hue and the clouds were milky white, not the deathly brown they always were in the future. And the Nevadan trees were thick and not as high in the sky (as theirs had been) but greenery was everywhere to be seen, where all the technology and people weren't preoccupying at least.
She could imagine the progress they would have to make now to prevent the future from becoming what it became; a dystopian world full of red and dark colors, the trees barren and lurching from dehydration, the sun's rays so powerful it killed off half the population and melted the poles!
It had been two weeks since they had managed to make the time machine actually work, with the combined efforts of Dr. Elektra James and Dr. Aleya Gandi, and this was the first successful test they had made! Grueling work, along with the fund of millions of people in a movement called "Greener Future", had made the impossible possible. Now Marcy was in the past, back more than a 100 years before, and the Earth was beautiful in all it's proper glory!... Gods, would she love to live in this time! But this was the time where global warming started and she had work to do, being a prominent member in the green-movement, so she went back to DeLorean 3002 1.2 to pick up the tape they had made for the journey.
It was said that in ancient ages, they always predicted time travel and all the possibilities that would await, but she was not sure if they knew it would be use to alter the doom of Earth altogether. They chose the DeLorean because it more convenient then using the huge machines that their forefathers always moved towards; those that would require "more work" and draw more attention... Or so the director said.
The paint job on the car was decent but it looked too "futuristic" compared to the ones in here. It had it's hovers removed, but they were always stored in the trunk, just in case.
"Mx. Assey!" Marcy called out as she rummaged through the muscle car to find the old thing. "C'mon, Donovan!" She looked around, exasperated as she finally spotted who she was calling.
Donovan came round the corner, carrying a bag full of cotton candy, smiling with a face stuffed of the fluffy snack. Their suit was on, but their helmet was lanced on their hip as they jogged to her.
She panicked. She knew the regulations and what the rules entailed; they were not supposed to accept anything from here that the past humans used to eat.
"They told you not to eat anything from here!!! Don!" Irritation bloomed on Donovan's face as their face scrunched and they rolled their eyes. "I'm not allowed to eat what I want now? I am the food scientist! You're not in my field!... What happened to the freedom this place was supposed to embody?! Besides, we need to blend-"
"OH shut it! Don," Marcy shook a bag full of the special, cool pasta they were supposed to eat, adapted for their needs and their contracted stomachs. "We have to listen, or else something bad might happen! We don't know what eating that... "regular" food will do us! I understand your in the food science department but-"
"Relax, Marce. It's just food! It's like them eating... chips from their age." They quickly made their way to her, shoving the cotton candy in her hands as they helped searched for the tape.
"Remember, even after a hundred years, it will take about a billion years for us to properly evolve! It is okay to eat that," They pointed to the fluffy clouds in her hands, to her annoyance. "It won't do anything. That was the most recent pastry that was discontinued back in... 2152 if I remember correctly. But... We haven't tested anything else really."
Their eyes lit up as they took the tape buried in the thousands of equipment in the back, "Aha! Here! I hope it didn't lose any of the gas we stored in it..."
"Yeah, yeah... That clean gas won't escape, I made sure of that." Marcy put her hand out, Donovan gladly giving it to her as she took out a map from the year 2022. It looked so different from their morphed world. "Ok... Says here, this is New York." She pointed to the north coast of Eastern America. "That's the first destination. There we inform them of the regulations that have been made and the effort it must take for our world to survive... For the faith of humanity."
Donovan nodded their head. "Don't worry. Aleya is an excellent persuasive talker and they will listen as long as they want the end of humanity to be in a billion years, not a hundred."
"Ok." She folded the map, looking up to the healthy, pretty sky. "Let's just hope this works." With a smirk, Donovan hopped into the car and Marcy followed after one last longing glance at the green Earth.
She then got into the DeLorean and took the wheel. "Alright. This can't fail now..."
She stepped on the peddle, and they zoomed, the milky clouds following as they never missed a beat.

Ray being possessive towards you. (Mistress)
W: SMUT!
Tumblr media
You had been Ray mistress for a little while now. You would both see each other whenever he needed to get all of his problems out of his head and when he felt like distracting himself with something else than alcohol. Neither you or Ray had feelings for each other, but he was very possessive towards you.
It was Saturday afternoon and you were getting ready for your best friend's birthday party that was supposed to happen in the evening, but you always liked to be there a little bit earlier than anyone else.
You walked to your wardrobe and took out the Chanel bag that contained Ray's newest gift. It was a beautiful black dress with details made out of lace on the cleavage. It was short, but very elegant and sexy at the same time.
When Ray had surprised you with it, he had made you promise that you would never wear it in other occasions than for when you guys would meet up. And you had agreed...
But today was so special, and Ray would know nothing about it. You bit your lip and after a few minutes of looking at yourself in the mirror with the dress in front of your body, you finally decided you'd wear it, only for tonight.
Once you were totally ready, you checked yourself out in the mirror one last time and smiled as you applied the final touch: a deep red lipstick. You smiled to your reflection and headed out.
You started walking through the streets of Los Angeles, as you didn't feel like riding the bus today. The weather was amazing, so why not walk?
You looked straight in front of you as you didn't want to trip because of your high heels and walked proudly as you felt so beautiful.
Suddenly, you heard a loud noise and a car stopped right in front of you, in the middle of the street you were about to cross. You would have been scared if you had not recognized his car... Ray's.
You gulped as he lowered his tinted window. He had a serious expression on his face as he made a move with his fingers, indicating you to step closer. Once you were at the level of the door, he turned his attention back to the road. "Get in." He said on a serious tone.
"Ray, I can't. I need to-" You wanted to go on, but he cut you off. "Don't make me say it twice, Y/N." His eyes were still on the road. You sighed and looked around before to enter his car.
As soon as you sat on the passenger seat, he started driving again, until he reached an abandoned part of the big city. A place where only weird people would come, but at least, he knew nobody would recognize him there.
He stopped the car and made a move with his hand, pointing the dress. "I thought we had a deal." He turned his head to look at you.
"Listen Ray, I'm sorry it's-" The man didn't seem to want apologies right now. "Who are you going to see, huh?" He asked you.
You shook your head as you understood he thought you had a date. "I'm going to my friend's party. And I'm running late." You said, knowing you'd have to make up an excuse as no one knew about you and Ray.
Ray looked at you up and down. "We're going back to your house, you're getting changed." He was completely serious. You frowned and shook your head. "I'm la-"
You were about to finish your phrase when Ray pressed his lips against yours, making you shut up. Your heart started beating faster as his hand lay on your cheek. Now, you could only hear your heart pounding into your ears and the noise of his watch ticking every second.
He kissed you passionately, forcing the entrance of your mouth with his tongue. You could feel yourself getting wet and thought he could fuck you there, as a punishment, but instead, he just pulled away and looked into your eyes as his hand wrapped around your thigh.
"You are mine. I bought you this dress so that you could wear it for when we have dates. Not for a fucking stupid birthday party." His voice was low and you could totally feel threatened if the fact he was talking to you like that didn't wet your panties the way it did.
He sat up again and started the car. "If you wear it again, I will not let you cum for a month." He turned around to drive out of the abandoned place and back into the city. "I will fuck you, until I feel you're close. Then I will stop everything I'm doing until your body hurts with frustration." He looked through his window so that he could smirk without you seeing it.
You bit your bottom lip and nodded. "Yes Ray."
"Great, now we're going to your flat so you can get changed." He said, not even asking for your opinion.
Once you arrived at your flat, Ray got inside with you. As soon as you both walked through the door, he pushed you against the wall, unbuckled his belt and within a minute, he was shoved deep inside of you.
His thrusts were so intense and rough, as always. His forehead was resting against your neck as he fastened his pace. It didn't take him long to empty himself deep inside of you in a bestial groan. You smiled and caressed his short hair. "Don't change your panties and don't clean yourself." He whispered into your ear. "It'll be your punishment. Next time, you'll think twice about what you're doing."
After pulling out, Ray made sure you didn't get ready of your panties where your wetness was mixed with his thick cum.
Ray dropped you off at your friend, reassured that you had changed and that you had been punished for what you had done.
***
SO GUYS! What did you think about this one?! I can't help it, Ray inspires me so much for some great smut! 😅

Ray Donovan - First time for everything.
Can I request 59. “Did you seriously injure yourself carving a pumpkin?” with Ray Donovan please? Thank you!
Halloween Prompts  Or send in your own! :D
“How do we do this?” Ray asked. You looked up from your pumpkin, to see him spinning his pumpkin around like he was looking for a button.
“How do we do what?” You asked.
“The whole pumpkin thing?” He said looking up, before going back to spinning the orange ball. “Do we do it or do we have someone else do it?”
You couldn’t help but look at him like he was nuts. Was your boyfriend really asking you how to crave a pumpkin. That’s when the thought popped in your head.
“Have you never done this?” You asked with a small smile. You watched the red tint dance on Ray’s cheeks as he looked up at you.
“Of course, I do.”
You raised your eyebrow up, giving him the “really” look, before hearing him sigh. He took a seat on the dining room chair.
“No. We never did this as a kid. Not sure why, but we just never did.”
You gave him a warm smile, before getting up from your own chair and over to him. Kissing the top of his head, you began to show him what to do. You told him he could trace, draw or free-hand, but he was to do whatever he wanted to do.
“There’s no right way?” He asked, picking up the raving knife.
“Not really.” You smiled. “It’s just suppose to be fun.”
“What’s fun about poking pumpkin’s?”
“Why don’t you try and let me know.” You teased, sticking your tongue out at him. He shook his head at your childlike behavior, as he smiled.
You waited to start, until you saw Ray going at it. Every once in a while you looked up to see him hacking away, with a smile. For someone who wasn’t so sure about it all, was now enjoying it.
“Shit!” You mumbled to yourself, jumping out of your chair, and to the sink.
Ray, looked up with worried eyes as he watched you turn the sink on. You placed your hand under the water, giving a small hiss.
“What happened?” He asked placing his tools down. “Did you seriously injure yourself carving a pumpkin?” He joked.
“Yeah.”
“Wait, you did?” He asked looking lost. “How?!?”
“It’s not that hard!” You laughed, as you looked over at him. “I mean they might not be sharp tools, but they still cut.” You held you finger up.
Ray, shook his head as he walked over to you, and kissed your finger.
“Only, you could hurt yourself on something a three year old could do.”
“Shut up.” You laughed, going back to your pumpkin. “Go crave your first pumpkin, loser.
Ray, smiled at you but went back to work. Every once in a while he would stop and make sure you didn’t hurt yourself again.

I let go of you a long time ago
Second part of ‘Someone I can’t hold any more’
Y/n turns around to face her mother sitting in front caressing the silky fabric of the monumental dress. She looks at her mother feeling her happiness radiating. Y/n looks in front of her seeing a familiar face she din’t see in years, a face she always connected with one of her happiest memories filled with sweet kisses, dance sessions in the kitchen and intense passionate love-making.
Ray. Her Raymond.
Tumblr media
Y/n’s face changes her smile lines dissapiering turning into a slightly shocked.
‘Is everything alright, darling?’ her mother breaks her daze.
‘Hmm, yes, yes, of course. I just thought I saw a friend.’ Y/n answers hurriedly.
Her mother nods and stands up hugging her tightly saying ‘Cold feet?’
Y/n chuckles shaking her head ’No, no.’
‘Good, then let’s get you out of the dress and buy it.’ her mother say realising her and walking to the saleswoman.
Later at the park
As Y/n walked around the park looking at her little dog running on the grass. As she walks she looks down at her ring, smiling.
Tumblr media
'Y/n?'
A male voice brought her face up seeing Ray standing in front of her his suit a little ruffed up, on his face the little stubble she came to love so much.
'Ray. Hi.' she says awkwardly
He steps closer to her scenting her gentle perfume a smell he missed so DAMN MUCH. She looks at him noticing the curly hair chopped off and his face features decorated with wrinkles.
'You look... amazing.' Ray gulps the lump in his throat looking at his former girl looking much happier and younger than when she was with him.
'Congratulations.' he adds pointing at the ring.
'Thank you.' she smiles a little
'How are y...' 'I miss you, Y/n.' Ray just cuts her off saying the words he didn't know were boiling in him.
'Ray, please... Don't. We can't.'
Ray walks over to her tilting her head to meet her e/c (eye color) that looked like they hold the whole universe in them.
'Are you happy with him? More than then with me?' He asks his voice trembling
'Would it matter to you?' Y/n fires back holding her emotions locked inside her.
'Ray, we have split a long time ago. Went our separate ways. You are married and have kids, I'll get married soon. Maybe you and I were not...'
'Don't say it. You know it's not true.' Rays voice completely trembles as his facial features become sadder by the second.
'Meant to be.' Y/n finishes telling the lie they both need to hear.
'I let you go a long time ago.' Y/n smiles through her pain knowing well how emotional Ray can be.
Y/n's dog races back to her barking to put some steps in her walk.
She passes Ray before whispering 'The Ray I know would have his shit together.'
As she walks away despite the hard rejection he feels better, emotionally. They were destined to meet again not to be lovers but to remove from each other the weight that held them back. Ray smiles remembering the words he will NEVER forget.
'The Ray I know would have his shit together.'
'Damn right.'
❤Hope you enjoyed it.❤

Meeting Liev Schreiber at your workplace and becoming attached to him - Headcanon
Tumblr media
Liev Schreiber x Reader
Summary: working at a bookstore and meeting Liev until you guys develop some kind of friendship
Warnings: none
A/N: sorry if it sucks, it's been ages since I wrote something
Tumblr media
• Working at a traditional bookstore in New York got you used to some celebrity sightings some people would find it insane
• You often saw them pass by, walking their way to restaurants, coffee shops and any sorts of stores. But the coolest was when you had to help them at your job
• It was funny seeing celebs in real life because they often looked so different from their characters, some were nicer, other were a bit disappointing, but overall it was an alright interaction
• One of your favorites though, was Liev Schreiber. The guy was amazing!
• He was all big and bulk like everyone was used to on Ray Donovan, but he didn't look that angry all the time and, unlike Ray, he usually wore light clothes and his cute reading glasses that made him look both sweet and sexy
• Liev, had always loved reading, and he even tried his luck with online reading and purchasing a Kindle, but he was an old-school guy and liked the classic deal: the beautiful covers, the feel and smell of paper
• He was an avid reader, so you'd expect him at the store at least twice a month, but depending on the season, he'd be there every week
• Sometimes he would go with his kids and you'd get to witness his dad side, and nothing would melt your heart more than seeing that handsome big man being the sweetest and best dad ever
• Liev would read any kind of books, from thrillers to romance, bestsellers to the great classics and of course, he would also buy his kids whatever was in for teens in the editor world
• You helped him once by chance, he was waiting for a clerk when he overheard you explaining a synopsis to another customer, and he immediately enjoyed how soft-spoken and passionate about books you were
• Then, he waited for you to finish your sales and asked for your help. You blushed and smiled, trying to act cool and soon enough you were engaging in a friendly conversation about your favorite books and authors
• You recommended him some and he recommended you a few as well, and soon he was spending twice the amount of time he usually did, only for you to have a nice chat about books
• Liev liked the fact you treated him like a regular customer, well, not regular as it was pretty clear you liked him more than other people you helped at the store, but he never felt you were being too nosy or anything
• And of course, he would make sure to always add something else to his purchase, knowing most part of your wage was based on your commissions, so in his shopping bag you could easily find post-its, pens, markers and magazines he definitely didn't need, but still bought it so you'd get some extra money
• You were so used to each other, you began acting more like friends than having a professional relationship and it felt nice to the two of you
• You even went to grab lunch or coffee during your breaks and being seen together by paparazzi was no big deal
• You got to the point of seeing each other so frequently it just made part of your routine so when Liev told you he had got a part in a Hemingway adaptation movie and he'd be away in Italy for months, your heart broke
• You were happy for him, but you also felt upset, knowing you wouldn't see each other for so long and deep down you feared he'd forget about you
• You gave him a hug the last time you saw him before he flew to Venice. He was traveling the next day, but you told him how much you'd miss him and he replied he'd miss you too, also promising you'd see each other again soon.

Her Body And Other Parties Is Being Developed As An Anthology Series
Tumblr media
Carmen Maria Machado’s ‘Her Body and Other Parties’, a 2017 National Book Award finalist, is being developed as an anthology TV series.  Imagine Television (’Empire’, ‘Parenthood’) is working with Machado and writer-producer Gina Welch (’Feud’, ‘Ray Donovan’) to bring the series to television.  The original novel contains eight stories, but it is unclear how many episodes the series will contain or whether the episodes will be adaptations of the existing stories or entirely new material.  No casting decisions as yet, but this is sure to start a bidding war.

why 'there's no lore going on' right now in the dream smp - The Misfits Analogy
Fans of television, especially British television, will probably be familiar with an early 2010's show called Misfits. The show ran for five seasons spanning 2009 to 2013 - while the first two seasons (the first moreso than the second) are regarded more as cult classics, the latter half of the show completely falls in writing and production quality due to one significant change - the cast.
Seasons one and two of Misfits was centred around the original misfits gang - Nathan Young (portrayed by Robert Sheehan), Kelly Bailey (portrayed by Lauren Socha), Simon Bellamy (portrayed by Iwan Rheon), Alisha Daniels (portrayed by Antonia Thomas) and Curtis Donovan (portrayed by Nathan Stewart-Jarrett).
The show was good for two different factors from my perspective -
The intersection of superpowered television and interpersonal conflicts that broke the norm for stereotypes.
How the cast reflected modern British society.
In summary, the show followed a group of five young offenders at a community service centre. Not too interesting - but give them relatability, realism and explore their character development and their existing stereotypes/tropes through the use of superpowers? Genius.
Nathan was most definitely the fan favourite character of the show - he was outgoing, annoying, larger than life in a lot of ways and in all senses, he was a skeevy asshole who would insult characters at every turn. He was very much the class clown of the show and any British viewer could probably see someone they remember from school in Nathan, except Nathan was lovable and you could sympathise with him because you could see him struggling primarily at home and with his family.
Spoilers for the show - Nathan's power was immortality and the ability to resurrect himself from death. This power wasn't explicit immediately either to Nathan or to the audience unlike all of the other young offenders, and it reflected his 'nothing can hurt me ' attitude. Nathan was a character who could take any comment and brush it off like it was nothing, and he in the physical sense could take being thrown off a roof, impaled and practically buried alive and be sitting in his own coffin with his iPod all fine and dandy.
Kelly was also another standout example - her character reflected the stereotype of a chavvy girl, 'council house and violent' - loudmouthed, not very smart, questionable fashion choices and a bit abrasive. The only difference is that the show knew they had to subvert that stereotype - instead, Kelly was smart in her own way and she was empathic -> her superpower was the ability to hear other people's thoughts, and later, she became superintelligent and when her character left the show she decided to move to Uganda use her newfound rocket-scientist level intelligence for good. She was still loudmouthed and definitely chavvy, but she was also a whole human person who cared about other people and who was definitely intelligent.
If I kept going, I'd be lamenting about how season one's cast well reflected and subverted stereotypes and expectations using their superpowers, but I'd be here all day and that's really not the point I'm trying to make.
By the end of season 2, Robert Sheehan, as the standout performance from the show, decides to move on to greener pastures (which,, I don't blame him, being stuck on E4 would have been a nightmare for his career and look where he is now? He's a fan favourite as Klaus in TUA now!) - thus, Nathan is written out of the show in a post- season 2 special in which he gets locked up in prison in America.
This was the first character to get written out of the show.
In season 3, we lose Kelly who moves to Uganda with Seth to defuse landmines, and Simon and Alisha are both killed, and the only remaining member of the original ASBO five is Curtis.
Season 4 rolls around, and we pretty much have an entirely new Misfits cast - Curtis, and then we have Rudy (who had been present since season 3), and then we have new additions Jess, Finn and Abbey.
Let me tell you that by this point in the show, all of the fans had lost interest.
Not only had the two biggest fan favourites, Nathan and Kelly, left the show, but you now have to replace four out of the five original cast members with new ones that don't function the same way the originals did. What type of person is someone with X-ray vision trying to represent? You could argue that maybe Jess is good at figuring people out, but I don't really remember this being explored that much in the show. And the difference between this reflecting a minor personality trait is that the original cast didn't do that - in dumbed down terms, Alisha was a 'sket' who had the power to make people horny for her, oftentimes against her wishes, through skin-to-skin contact. That's much more impactful and there's a lot more to explore there.
Episode 7 of Season 4 of Misfits is the clearest indicator of the departure of the original show's intentions and explains perfectly why it didn't work the way it used to.
For the entirety of the season, Jess had been crushing on a guy called Alex from a bar she frequented (who later went on to replace Curtis as the fifth Misfits member in season 5, go figures) who, as far as we had seen, not at all reciprocated those feelings nor was there any indication of him wanting to.
In episode 7, we figure out why.
Jess, using her x-ray vision, finds out that Alex's penis was stolen by a trans man.
I'll be honest, when I first heard it, I thought it was a joke.
The show went from having a diverse cast, not only in terms of having two black characters in it's main cast, but also in it's diversity of character tropes that they aimed to subvert - to then having a mainly white cast in a show that actively perpetuates harmful stereotypes about trans people being dangerous.
Now, and I want to preface this, I don't think that the Dream SMP is malicious in the same way that the writing of that episode of Misfits is. I don't think the SMP is malicious at all. What I want to highlight is how the change in cast directly mirrored when the audience dropoff was and when the show itself started to go south in terms of quality, production and what they wanted to achieve.
For the sake of my argument, there is currently three seasons of the dream smp. The start of the server up until the end of the initial disc war is the prologue, season one encompasses Wilbur's L'Manberg and the Pogtopia arc, ending on November 16th, season 2 starts November 17th and ends January 20th (the disc war finale) and season 3 spans from January 21st to the present day.
Most of the fans of the Dream SMP can tell you that the primary story of the server is centred around quite a few certain characters who viewers started watching to see more of. I'm guilty of this myself - I primarily watch the SMP for Tommy's story, and I also stick around for Wilbur, Tubbo, Ranboo and a little bit for Phil, Techno and Jack Manifold. Those were the people I was invested in and those are the stories I like to follow. Not to discredit or to downplay the work or the stories of other characters, but I can imagine that there are a few people who watch the SMP primarily for a close few perspectives/storylines, and following some storylines over others just because you're not interested in them is completely fine and there's nothing wrong with that at all.
In season one, there was always things going on with my favourite characters. Tommy was always getting himself into spots of trouble and making up different schemes to get people to come visit L'Manberg as a tourist attraction, or getting people to support the rebellion, and this was interspersed with the heavier, plot-driven moments such as Wilbur's mental breakdown, the festival, the pit fight and the season 1 finale. This got me invested in him as a character because he had been there for quite a while and we'd seen him develop and grow into the character we now see in season 3.
In the back half of season 1 came Techno, who really shook things up and threw a spanner in the works and provided a totally different perspective - unlike Dream he didn't hate L'Manberg because he couldn't control it, and unlike Wilbur he didn't have a personal connection to it and he didn't know it's history. Techno initially hated L'Manberg because it was a government he knew nothing about (and still knows nothing about even today), and because violence and destruction is kind of his thing.
We had a well balanced cast of characters - not too many - that we could follow and who all had varying perspectives, experiences and personalities. We had clearly defined groups of individuals with different morals: you had the people on the side of Manberg, the people in Pogtopia who wanted Manberg blown up, the people in Pogtopia who didn't want Manberg blown up, and on the side to compliment it all you also had the Badlands, comprised of three longstanding members of the server,,,, and then Antfrost who was kidnapped by Tommy that one time. It was all wrapped up nicely in a neat little bow and there was structure to it all. There was one plot that went in one direction, and despite the many perspectives, it all ended up in the same spot and the story ended. There was a conclusion.
In season 2, the two primary additions to the 'cast' were Phil and Ranboo, whose characters complimented the existing story well. Phil functioned mostly as a successor to Wilbur alongside Ghostbur by exploring well the departure of Wilbur as a character in that moment, and he also functioned well as a companion to Techno's character. Ranboo, on the other hand, had a pretty good complimentary solo story that could be followed alongside the main plot, however his story wasn't too distant from the main story to the point where he was completely removed from it - he had direct involvement in different events such as the exile conflict, his connection to Dream as the main antagonist of the season and his involvement in blowing up the community house.
Season 2 starts with a focus on two different spaces - it breaks up a longstanding duo and the storyline diverges into two halves: Logstedshire and New L'Manberg, and you have Techno's short 'retirement' arc working decently to compliment it and also to set the tone for his character going forward in that season. In Logstedshire we see the aftermath of Tommy being exiled from L'Manberg by Dream - we see him endure what is (in canon) at least a month of isolation and physical and psychological abuse and it culminates on December 15th when Tommy rescues himself, jumps from the tower and goes to hide in Techno's house (which acts as a good precursor to his involvement in Techno's storyline in that season). On the other side, we follow Tubbo in L'Manberg dealing with Presidency - he talks a lot and gets 'friendly' with Dream, he prepares to run against Ranboo in the coming election cycle (primarily because he doesn't want to be President) and we see his interactions with the power-hungrier Quackity who all too often takes the reigns and this culminates in the creation of the Butcher Army, and following the Butcher Army's attack on December 16th, once again, we have two clearly defined sides:
One one side, we have Tubbo, Quackity and Fundy who represent L'Manberg, and on the other we have Tommy (who is unaware of the Butcher Army's attack), Phil and Techno, and more in the middle we have Ghostbur and Ranboo.
Season 2's finale format is a clear departure for the format of November 16th, but it's not a poor choice - I think, especially considering the story that they were telling, it worked perfectly. On November 16th, pretty much everyone was streaming their perspective of the event; at the time, there were even compilations of everyone's reactions to Wilbur blowing up L'Manberg. On January 20th, however, we only had two perspectives - Tubbo and Tommy.
I'll say it now, while Season 2 was definitely Clingyduo's season, it didn't focus solely on them. There was also a big focus on Techno as a character, whose arc came to an end a little earlier on Doomsday, and there was also a focus on Ranboo a lot as a solo character, and he streamed a little later on January 20th with what I refer to as the 'epilogue', where there was also a shift in his character to expect moving forward.
Why season 2's finale worked is because it was centralised around only three characters, only two of which we ever see the perspectives of, and it was the finale of the longest running storyline of the entire narrative - the disc war. Two boys who were on their last life, making their last stand at the one man who pulled the strings to make their lives miserable - those two perspectives only, and it worked. We didn't have compilations of everyone reacting to the things happening around them which worked for season 1, instead, we focused on these two characters whose turn it was to get the focus, and we had iconic and moving moments. We had the two boys walking down the prime path saying what they could only assume might have been their last goodbyes to the people that still had a shred of care for them, we had the two sailing to where they would face off against Dream for their final stand and finally talking about their feelings a little and dreading the implication that if they were both to die, nobody would live to tell their stories, we had Tommy choosing his best friend over his discs time and time again, and we had Punz - Dream's last confidant - standing against Dream and bringing everyone with him and sending him to prison, now on his last life too.
Everything about it was perfect. The more focused ending worked for the ending of season 2 because it was their time to have their climax moment - and it wasn't some spectacular display of explosions or violence like in Wilbur's finale on November 16th, where the ramifications hit everyone and we got to see it, nor was it a show of violence and almost oppressive dominance like Techno's finale was on Doomsday, where we saw everyone's breakdown and how the people contributing to the destruction of L'Manberg, no matter how righteous they thought they were, did not care to understand how much they were hurting and destroying the lives of the country's citizens. On January 20th, Tommy and Tubbo went into it thinking they were going to die, they got their asses handed to them despite how hard they tried, and they had their behinds saved by Tommy's preparative thinking by people who weren't there to save them more than they were there to get rid of Dream.
Season 3 suffers a lot from a lack of focus, awful pacing and really poor timing.
Seasons 1 and 2 occurred during the brunt of the coronavirus pandemic, where everyone was stuck at home and had more time to stream because it was their primary form of content and because it was the best way to communicate with their friends. Thus, the pacing of those seasons was extremely steady and things were always happening.
Now, lockdown restrictions have eased quite a bit, and creators can branch out a lot more and can meet with each other in real life and can do vlog-style content. Therefore, they don't stream as much, and the focus of the Dream SMP story has shifted more towards newer or sideplot characters. If you enjoy those characters, that's fine, but when they take the focus away from the characters and the storylines the majority are expecting, a lot of people won't try to keep up with it and from their perspective there'll be a massive lull in narrative content.
What I'm saying, is that Tommy streaming for thirteen days in a row in July 2021 is a fucking pipe dream. It happened in December because the story was consistent and the pacing was steady and he had the time and the want to be there. Now, Tommy's off making his vlogs and hanging out with his friends and thus he can't stream as much as he used to. He's sort of suffering from the Robert Sheehan problem, isn't he? Tommy is still involved with the Dream SMP and his story is definitely continuing, and his narrative in season 3 is really starting to pick up with the newer developments, it's just that he doesn't have as much time to play the role anymore because he isn't streaming as much.
I'm not saying this is a bad thing - it's obviously making him happy that his content is changing and I'm fully supportive of that.
So when all of these meetups are happening and we don't have as much content from the main characters that we follow anymore, what happens?
Well, the fans get a little itchy. This fandom, especially. They might throw out a comment or a tweet asking when they're going to stream on the SMP, or if they really don't understand why the Dream SMP is good, they'll ask when the next 'lore stream' is, and they'll lament a little about how the content and the story has slowed, especially in contrast to the fast pacing of season 2 which only lasted a little over two months with much more story going on than in season 3 despite it having been going on for triple the time. What they'll get in response is that the Dream SMP is still going on and that lore is still happening.
On all accounts, these statements aren't incorrect. Lore still is happening.
But when you've been following lovable characters for two seasons, setting up their struggles and then switching the focus onto newer or 'sideplot' characters that you haven't really followed before, there's going to be a bit of moaning about it on twitter dot com.
The SMP now suffers from having too many characters, too many unfocused narratives, and poor pacing/ditched or unfinished storylines from the characters we used to follow and love while we're being told to love other characters instead.
I never really cared too much about the egg subplot, I'll be honest. I was a little interested in the involvement of Sam, Puffy and Ponk, but other than that, I wasn't really too invested. It very much tried to replicate the 'you should have paid me more' moment from January 20th at the Red Banquet, and it really didn't hit as hard because most of the characters there were either ones that didn't belong there at all (like Niki, Fundy, HBomb, and Purpled), weren't that involved with the plotline and felt out of place with the established characters in that storyline (Techno, Quackity and Ranboo), or were new characters that were difficult to get on board with because they hadn't really had too much of a story beforehand (Hannah and Foolish), or in the case of Antfrost, characters with no known motivation to be there other than that being the storyline they're currently in. Not to discredit those involved or their characters, but the Red Banquet really tried to replicate what the disc finale did with it's focused perspectives and it's Punz moment, and it failed.
Now, following the egg subplot's finale, I'm meant to focus on Las Nevadas, Snowchester and the Syndicate.
Las Nevadas is the most consistent storyline, however it's biggest problem is that it is filled with new characters or ones that are barely there. Despite how long he's been on the server, Purpled really is a new character if only because he's only really become a character recently - Foolish is still considered new, Slimecicle is new, Fundy rarely streams on the SMP. The only consistent longstanding and heavily involved characters that are a part of Las Nevadas are Quackity and Sam, and even their streams are infrequent, with a lot of Sam's perspective not even focusing on Las Nevadas but instead the prison.
Snowchester's plot is very much dying, dead and in the water. She's suffering. We haven't seen Michael in over a month, a nuke is still missing, Jack Manifold is dubiously a citizen and Tubbo doesn't even think he has a character on the SMP. It breaks my heart.
The Syndicate suffer from a lack of existence. The four characters really aren't a friend group in canon - all of the stuff about them hanging out all the time and them basically being a book club is all fanon. They've hung out as a four all of twice, the first time they ever got together they celebrated someone's death and then basically invaded Snowchester to give themselves a reason not to destroy it, terrifying Tubbo in the process. The second time was because it was Techno's birthday.
Now, Techno is in prison, and the only reason Phil hasn't read the will to progress the story is likely because of difficult scheduling with other server members, which is written off in canon as Phil not wanting to accept the possibility of Techno potentially dying.
Literally reading the will and having the Syndicate figure out that Techno's in prison with Dream will solve all of season 3's formatting issues and have the story back on track.
Currently, we don't really have two clearly defined sides the way we always had. We were meant to root for L'Manberg against the Dream Team, we were meant to root for Pogtopia against Manberg, and in season 2 we had a lot more moral ambiguity and room for side switching between the forces of Dream, Techno and Phil against L'Manberg, and then we rooted for Clingyduo against Dream.
I can predict that if the will is read, here's how a good conflict can arise.
Two clearly defined different sides - Las Nevadas on the side of Pandora's Vault, and the Syndicate (currently consisting of Phil, Ranboo and Niki), and you have compromises to make. If the side of the Prison wins, Techno and Dream stay in Pandora's Vault without a proper trial and being treated inhumanely, and there's also the threat of the rest of the Syndicate also being imprisoned. If the side of the Syndicate wins, the prison is taken out and Techno and Dream are no longer being treated inhumanely - problem is that Dream's out, and he's very much dangerous because despite what c!Dream apologists will tell you, he's not docile and he's not going to have a healing arc with Techno because he doesn't think he's done anything wrong and Techno can't tell him that he's done anything wrong (because Techno is the most wilfully ignorant character who gets to be political it's INSANE) - he'll go right back to the evil, abusive bastard he was, obsessed with Tommy, probably worse now that he can easily get Wilbur to do anything he wants and more vindictive against Quackity. Plus, if the Syndicate take down Las Nevadas they'll hold the most power on the server systematically and the so-called anarchists will ironically be the top dogs of the server.
Then towards the middle you'll probably end up having Wilbur, Benchtrio and Jack Manifold - Tubbo and Jack would prefer Techno and Dream staying in prison, except Tubbo's really not on the greatest terms with Q at the minute (because Q's paranoid and making conflict with parties that would have otherwise helped him out and thought they were friends), whereas Tommy would be stuck between wanting Techno out but needing to either keep Dream in or kill him, and Wilbur will be having to pick between aiding Dream's escape from prison or staying with Tommy, because he can't have both. Ranboo will probably be having the same problem as Tommy, except he's on the side of the Syndicate and will have to pick between the Syndicate or keeping Dream imprisoned.
Season 3 is salvageable, it really is. You can fix the poor pacing and you can fix the lack of focus with literally one revelation from fucking Philza M|necraft. But as it stands now, season 3 suffers from a similar situation as Misfits - almost replacing the cast of characters we've followed for the longest time with a new one in a format completely different to the original seasons.

7. You want to make things official.
Tumblr media
Liev and you had been dating for 10 months the day you started having doubts about your relationship.
Your man was the best. He was always sweet, nice, gentle, comprehensive and the both of you enjoyed every single moment you spend together.
You had absolutely nothing bad to say about him... Except maybe the fact that he had not made your relationship official yet.
Of course, there were articles about you guys, rumors spreading on the internet about the fact you were dating. But Liev had never answered any of them and never really introduced you as his girlfriend or took you to an event with him.
And to be honest, you really started to find it weird.
That day, Liev and you were out for a coffee with his cute dog Scout. You ordered the usual, a latte with soy milk and he asked the waitress for his usual : a black coffee with sugar.
You both chatted a little, but you weren't really in the mood to be all cheerfull and happy. Liev, who knew you better than anyone else, instantly noticed the change in your behavior.
"Babe." He said in his sweet but deep voice as his large hand lay down on yours. "What's wrong?"
You faked a smile as you didn't want to start any argument or drama. The truth was you were scared to talk about that to him. Even if he was the most comprehensive person on Earth, you didn't want to lose him for something so stupid.
"Everything's fine." You told him, but didn't look into his eyes.
Liev couldn't be taken for a fool. He arched an eyebrow and shook his head as he held your hand tighter for you to look at him.
"Y/N, you didn't even order a slice of cake with your coffee. You know you can't lie to me." He smiled in a sweet way so that you'd feel comfortable.
You sighed and took a deep breath as you placed your other hand in top of his. "Listen Liev, there's something I'd like us to talk about, but I don't know how to bring it up."
He suddenly looked concerned, but tried to remain calm. "Just speak your mind, I'm listening to you."
You looked into his eyes and nodded. "I am bothered by the fact we aren't official yet. I mean... There are lots of rumors about us, but you never confirmed any of them. You never take me to special events, not even on set. We've been together for 10 months and I feel like we are still a secret. Why's that? You don't love me? You are waiting to see if you can get someone better? A real mature woman, who'll be a thousand times more beautiful than me?"
The man was truly surprised by what you had just said. He shook his head and his cheeks slightly turned red.
"I- I don't know you felt that way. To be honest, I thought you were pretty happy with our situation right now."
You suddenlt saw how fragile Liev was. He was probably thinking that you wanted to break up with him right now.
"No Liev, I am happy. This is not the point. But can you just give me an answer... Why aren't you taking me with you to events, or even confirming that we are a couple?"
Liev looked back into your beautiful eyes and started answering your question. "The reason why I haven't made us official yet is because I want you to have your privacy for as long as possible. Being under the spotlights isn't easy everyday baby girl, and I want to protect you."
You could see he was honest from the way he was looking at you. His eyes were glowing and he probably felt moved by this situation.
"But if this is what you want, if you think you are ready, I can take you with me to ceremonies or on set. You know baby, I talk about you to the Ray cast. I simply wanted to keep you away from all of this until the day you would tell me that you are ready to face it all."
Liev looked so handsome with his short beard and his green shirt on. He had that charming smile on his face and you knew all you had thought was just the result of hours of overthinking and wasn't even close to what was really happening.
You nodded and smiled at him. "I really like the fact you are protecting me from all of this." Your thumb caressed the back of his large hand. "But I think I arrived at the point where I don't want to hide anymore. I want everyone to know, and yes, I would love to go on set and to ceremonies with you." You smiled widely.
Liev nodded and intertwined his fingers with yours. "Great then. You're my sweetheart you know? And you should never think I'm ashamed of you or that you're just a secret, because this is not true." He smiled at you and leaned in, kissing you in public for the first time.
You smiled in a silly way as you adored his kisses and just his way to be himself. He sat back and whispered. "Now we're going to be official. There's a paparazzi not far, I saw him earlier." He chuckled.
You looked around discretly and noticed the man hidden at a distance from you guys, but close enough to take the picture.
Your gaze met his again. "You are the most amazing man I know, Liev Schreiber." You smiled in a playful way and tilted your head to the side.
"Now that everything is okay, can we drink our coffees before they get cold?" He chuckled as he let go of your hands.
"Yes..." You started. "But first, I'm going to go and order some cake." You winked as you got up.
Liev laughed. When you came back with it, he discretly took a picture of you with your coffee and your cake and Scout sat on your lap. He posted it on his Instagram with the following caption "Happy Sunday everyone x"

I HOPE YOU GUYS ENJOYED IT ❤️
