more avery + jameson headcanons!

avery + jameson headcanons won my poll by a lot so here you go!

jameson is a starer. he will stare at avery during class and in conversation. teachers snap at him sometimes to “stop staring at his lovebird and pay attention”

jameson absolutely adores cuddles. he will hug avery constantly and will do so until she gives him attention.

avery and jameson will hold pinkies while walking and stuff

jameson has ranted to xander on multiple occasions about his plans to propose to avery. he has their entire wedding planned out, he’s such a daydreamer.

avery's cheeks get pink very easily, her skin is sensitive like that, and jameson loves making her blush.

in the earlier stages, avery was totally in denial about her feelings for jameson and pretended like she wasn’t completely head over heels for this man. for everyone else (except jameson!) it was totally obvious.

aside from being mushy-gushy, avery and jameson tease each other a lot. they’re the kind of people to see an ugly character in a movie and point at the other person and say “that’s you” (jokingly and full of love ofc)

jameson is a gryffindor, avery is a ravenclaw.

jameson will write love letters/poems about avery and never give them to her

avery hates sharing food. if you try to take some of her food, she will slap your hand away. unless you’re jameson, then she’d give you all the food you wanted.

y’all don’t forget that jameson and avery are technically gen z, you already know that half of their vocabulary is memes

Fantasy World with Tech

guys why is it that in every single modern magical fantasy series i have read there is no internet included? i mean i get that writers wanna include the magical aspect but imagine if modern day internet and Gen Z slang and stuff was there like imagine this:

In HP, Ravenclaws would be staying up all night scrolling through the internet for conspiracy theories, Gryffindor would have awesome playlists like with good, loud banger party music, Hufflepuffs would have nice snaps/long snap streaks and Slytherins would post amazing selfies using the best filters for each one and i have so many more ideas oh my gods.

There would be stuff like this for PJO as well but I need to brainstorm so yea

but seriously all writers please add modern tech to your fantasy world like incorporate it with the magic (if it fits with the timeline ofc but consider it tho)!!!

soo what are you like modern headcanons?

4town modern universe headcanons!!

tbh I don’t think anything would be much different from the 2002 universe but I think I have a few.

- I think that even though it would be in a modern universe, they’d still dress 90s/00s and make that style of music.

- Whenever one of them is apart from the rest, they FaceTime every night for hours until said member comes back home.

- T and Tae definitely have Nintendo Switches and take them everywhere. Z probably has one too, and him and T play on them all night, but they’d probably also have a Ps5.

- Jesse drives a Prius. Not the current kind. Like the mid-late 00s dad kind.

- Z would take T to see all of the MCU movies in theaters. T would just walk out confused and overwhelmed but he enjoys spending as much time with Z as possible.

- T’s Instagram would be really funny but in a natural way and not a super rehearsed way.

- T would also make whisper memes.

- (As seen on Z’s headcanons post), when he’s the only one up, he sends all of the members extremely sappy long messages about how much he loves them and how much they mean to him, and then in the morning he gets all embarrassed that they saw them but they love him for it.

- Jesse’s Instagram would be 50/50 of pictures of the other members and then just like his pottery and vases (just scroll through Seth Rogen’s Instagram, it would be like that).

- I think they’d all be pretty big Potterheads (mainly the Aaron’s and Robaire). I think that their houses would be: Robaire-Ravenclaw, Jesse-Slytherin, Tae-Hufflepuff, T-Gryffindor, and Z would either be a Ravenclaw or Slytherin I’m not sure. (But they would not support J.K. Rowling).

- The Aaron’s would also have Twilight marathons.

- They all made Spotify playlists of songs that remind them of each of the members.

i'll keep it real simple! because i've already done this in my head for the boys but basically:

Robaire - Slytherin

☆ not only does robaire have green as his color already, he's a very ambitious guy! he's going to go on from 4*TOWN to have a successful solo career, he's the leader of the band, he's good at seemingly everything; he's got slytherin written all over him.

Jesse - Gryffindor

✦ jesse is ambitious like robaire, but he has more of an outward and courageous flare to him that robaire has but certainly not like jesse does. jesse is a father, and while this caring / paternal nature may make him seem like hufflepuff, he's willing to do whatever to protect his loved ones.

Aaron Z - Ravenclaw

⍟ z's friendly rivalry with robaire makes me want to put z in slytherin, but to be the sole choreographer of 4*TOWN? feels ravenclaw to me. he's the one that comes up with all the choreo, he's athletic and still pushes the band to be their best in that category, in my hcs! i assume he's also one of the most logical in the band

Aaron T - Hufflepuff

✪ similarly to robaire, his color does match the house color of hufflepuff, but it is certainly not the only reason why t is a proud badger. even though t can seem malicious with his pranks, they're all in good fun to make his friends smile. i feel that he can be pretty defensive when it comes to his bandmates and will fight for them and their well-being.

Tae Young - Hufflepuff

⋆ almost a staple hufflepuff to me. taking time out of his day to take care of animals (doves specifically) seems to be one of the most caring actions. while not as logical as z or as ambitious as robaire, he still cares for his friends the same way that t does. being the youngest, he can get doted on but i don't think he lets it affect his ego.. too much!

I’m usually pretty quiet most of the time, but I become very chatty when I’m talking about something I’m interested in. I like to act dramatic occasionally. My opinions on some things are easily influenced while others will never change. I procrastinate a lot, and I value having a good time over most other things.

Some of my hobbies include reading, watching anime, drawing, writing, and browsing through YouTube.

Kunikida is more confident and definitely not awkward unless put in awkward positions and situations. He’s confident in his abilities, and his personality shows that, but he’s not cocky! He urges you to try hard things because, oftentimes, they are more rewarding than easy things. 

The two of you bond over reading and writing! Kunikida writes in his notebook (of course), and you in your own notebook! He actually gets you your very own notebook like his as a surprise gift! Jujutsu Kaisen Matchup: I pair you with… Itadori Yuji!

Literally the best friend someone could have. Like I’m not even kidding, Itadori would be such a fun friend. He’s the perfect mixture of goofy and awkward and funny. He only antagonizes people if he’s trying to save someone else but other than that, he doesn’t intentionally tease people (unless it’s Fushiguro).

The two of you watch anime together! He’s more into shonen anime and shorter ones at that. He doesn't like long ones like One Piece or Dragon Ball Z. They’re too long for his simple brain to handle. Space museum hangouts! He loves learning about space just as much as you, so it’s a mutual interest! As a Gryffindor, he balances you out quite nicely! Fushiguro makes the joke that you’re the brains and Itadori is the brawn :)

And with Marigold being watch by the Chang family for 19 hours a day that Fon and Minako Chang evenutally start treating Marigold like their own daughter  that they never had and always wanted so they taught her everything they know including their own culture and it wasn't long when Marigold turn 7 years old she got offically adopted by the Chang family.

             By the time Marigold Potter was 11 years old she already have a couple Master degree to Art & Design, Beautician, Cosmetologist, Medical Degree. By then she already gotten her Hogwart Letter. Dumbledore was expecting someone timid, shy and an Abuse girl and a perfect famale copy of her father James Potter instead what he got was a smart, cunning, independant and headstrong who was sorted in Ravenclaw and a perfect copy of her mother Lily Potter nee Evans as a child. She befriend the Weasley twins Fred and George Weasley from Gryffindor. Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger both tried to befriend the Potter heiress, but they are unable to gain her trust, and it dosen't help that they are in different house so they can't do what Dumbledore ask of them to do.

            By the time Marigold was 13 years old and in her 3rd year at Hogwarts she gain a couple more Master Degree in Bussiness, Financial, Culinary, Food Science and she also has full mastey of any weapon she can get her hands on. She also befriend her godbrother Nevil Longbottom, who help her get better grade in Herbology and she also brought book on subject she could learn from

I also has the seed of the most rarest magical plant known as a Ice Rose which only bloom on the light of the full moon. I also obtain a magical seed of Jeerigo bushes when she was in Austrilia that summer of her 3rd year with her adopted parents. The Jeerigo bushes is a dangerous magical plant that if you drink it because it will cause your respiratory system to collapse, which has no cure.

During Marigold Potter's 4th year at Hogwarts a death eather tried to enter Marigold's in a dangerous tournament called tri-wizard tournament, but things didn't exactly go as his plan since Marigold instructed her house Elf Dizzy to make absolute sure that no one put her name in the Goblet that the Death Eather had to steal her blood in order to bring back his Lord for the Ritual.

            Dumbledore has been claiming that the Dark Lord known as Voldemort has return, but no one was believing his claim except for those who is a member of the Order of the Phoenix. Until the summer of Marigold's 5 year when she was 15 years old when she offical take her headship of the Most Ancient and Noble house of Potter, Ancient and Noble house of Peverell since she is the last of her family's line.

        In the summer of her 5th year Voldemort finally came out of hidding the order has been preparing to counter his forces. During Marigold's 6th year she finally destroy the last reminding arch of Voldemort that is keeping him alive when Marigold finally kill him for good. The final battle she survive but lost one of her friends Fred Weasley who died protecting his twin brother George and many magical lost their lives during the final battle that include Dumbledpre who was killed by Bellatrix Lestrange. And the student of Hogwarts that survive continue their life and mourn their friends death and repeated their 6th year.

I would like to add my take to the growing list of Reasons Hogwarts Sorts Too Young

I was having a conversation with a friend recently about how we both feel confused about which house(s) we are best suited to. We had both grown up being proudly Ravenclaw - always reading a book, getting top marks, generally being Gifted Kids in that self-aware, self-deprecating way only the oldest among Gen Z can manage. By High School, I started seeing myself as being more of a Slytherin. I was smart, yes; talented, yes; but when I looked at my goals and ambitions, I realised that I wanted to be known, and I wanted to be known for making a positive change on Earth. (The keen-eyed among you may have picked up on where this is going). So now, I feel that I can't be as much a Ravenclaw as I am a Slytherin when I'm not seeking knowledge just to know (which really is a thing, I learned after starting to date my (now) boyfriend), I'm seeking knowledge to make a name for myself. Well more recently, I've started to feel a pull I have long resisted toward Gryffindor as my secondary house (or - *shudder* - my primary). I seek adventure, Im sometimes a bit reckless in my pursuit of adventure, and most of all, I'm driven by a passion to make the world better. And I'm sure I would choose Doing Good over Notoriety. But it feels like a betrayal to let the Ravenclaw identity flow down the river. Shed like so many other aspects of Ems long past (bowler hat era, anyone?).

My friend expressed that she has felt a strong pull toward Hufflepuff since moving into the Real World. "Afterall," she reminds me, "'Books and Cleverness! There are more important things - Friendship and Bravery.'" It's hard to maintain a connection to Ravenclaw as an Adult because the metric we had used to express our Ravenclaw-ness are metrics we not longer value and/or experience anymore. But of course these philosophical and existential conversations are common among the two of us, so perhaps Ravenclaw isn't so lost.

Or maybe sorting based on limited and binary (quad-nary?) traits does more harm to children's senses of identity than good. But then again, maybe the Sorting Hat knows something I don't and would have seems through all of the pre-teen bullshit that warped our perspectives of even ourselves, and put me in Gryffindor. (Un)fortunately, we will never know.

Ditching

ok, so maybe being caught while ditching wasn't the smartest move, Jeong Hanse

A quietly beating heart startles with a staccato in the dark, an instinctual feeling of danger that couldn’t seem to be shaken sinking into skin and bones keeps a boy from fully slipping into the dreamlike state that he’d been seeking out. Although said boy couldn’t quite understand where the punch to the gut originated from, it was an uncomfortable feeling- he knew that much for sure.

Sitting with his head in his arms in one of the empty classrooms, Jeong Hanse has every thought of dozing off for a bit, hidden away from his other classmates while the professors were occupied with different subjects for the day. 

It was herbology today, if Hanse could recall correctly. Though he hadn’t made any attempts to memorize his newly created Hogwarts Schedule for the duration of the Durmstrang boys’ stay at the castle. All the boy knew was that the other kids are probably in the garden now, with their ears plugged up as they entered the greenhouse of screaming roots and magical leaves. 

Dressed in his usual uniform of maroon and browns earlier that day, the boy had wanted nothing more than to ditch the class and simply take a nap in one of the abandoned rooms. 

And ditch, he did; without piquing the interest or notice of anyone else, Hanse slipped into one of the dark classrooms, the only light that shone through from the windows, and randomly settled into one of the desks and chairs. 

Retrospectively, the Durmstrang boy thinks he could have slipped into the dorms for a nap instead- maybe cast a spell and slip into his sheets to sleep in that morning. (But he would have missed breakfast and the chance to catch a certain Ravenclaw before classes whisked her away- he hadn’t wanted to miss out on that chance.) 

Relaxing in the classroom should have been easy enough of a task for Hanse- the delinquent was surely no stranger to ditching class for naps in his own school, that’s for sure. 

Yet something felt off today, despite the soft sunlight, calming quiet, and dimness of the classroom that would have otherwise culminated into a very sleepy boy. It’s as if his conscience had been begging him all morning to stay awake and get away from the abandoned classroom- although Hanse wasn’t quite as afraid of horror movies as some of his buddies were, the not-so-good butterflies in his stomach this morning had other things to say. 

And it caused the Durmstrang boy to shift in his seat from time to time, rubbing his face against his clothed arm in an attempt to shake off the feeling and at least catch a couple more z’s before quidditch practice later in the afternoon. Because quidditch was the only “subject” the dumb boy really looked forward to these days. 

(Among other things that only vaguely involved books and studies.)

Taking a deep inhale through his nose, Hanse gives himself another chance to shift his weight in on his desk- 

That is, until the familiar colors of a certain Gryffindor catches in the haziness of his groggy eyes and in an instant, the boy sits up in alarm, hair messy and eyes searching in the figure that stood over his desk. Arms crossed and a brow raised in question.

It’s the head boy.

Goddamnit.

With a groan, Hanse slams his forehead back into his arm, fully aware of his tingling senses now. Someone he didn’t quite enjoy the presence of was coming over. It screamed, while Hanse paid his instincts no mind. 

He lets Chase’s presence sink in for a bit and doesn’t utter a word- perhaps hoping that if no exchanges were made, perhaps the other boy would simply disappear from in front of his desk.

But the Gryffindor boy doesn’t.

Much to Hanse’s despair. 

And finally giving in, the delinquent lifts his head up again and chooses to prop his chin up in his palm instead. 

“Oh. What are you doing here?”

Hanse eyes the way Chase only folds his arms closer to his chest and blows a stray strand of dark hair away from his face. 

“Could ask you the same thing? You know you’re supposed to be in Herbology right now- and if not Herbology, then with one of the other professors. There is no such thing as a free period, unless you ditch. Which-” The Head Boy only unfolds his arm to gesture at Hanse’s very obviously slouched posture. “-You clearly have done. I don’t know what Durmstrang does, nor do I care. But on Hogwarts grounds, you are to follow our rules.”

Waving his hand casually, the delinquent merely yawns in response. There’s a moment of delay, before a sly grin breaks across his face- much to Chase’s displeasure. “Yeah, yeah. Hey- is Diana in Herbology, right now? Maybe if we were paired up, I wouldn’t mind being tutored by your good girl of a sister-”

A wand immediately points at Hanse’s face and mischievous eyes meet stern ones. 

“Stay away from her, or else detention for ditching isn’t going to be the only thing you have to worry about.”

Smirking, Hanse couldn't help but find amusement in the way the other boy was always so defensive for his sister.

It was annoying. But at least it meant that the other boy cared. (Probably a little too much, to be honest.)
