Agents of shield is fundementally the story of two morally ambiguous jaded spies in their 50s unofficially adopting a 20 something year old girl doomed to tragedy who's never had unconditional love her entire life. And they swear to stand by her no matter what and the universe says Wanna Bet? and throws unspeakable horrors at them for seven long seasons. They can't protect the girl, can't stop her from getting hurt the way they did when they were her age. But at the end of it all they can stand by her. She can destroy the world she can push them all away one of them can literally die the way everyone she loves does sooner or later and they'll still be there. Seven seasons and multiple deaths later they're not going to stop loving and supporting her. That's their kid and she's a superhero and the best thing to ever happen to their shady spy organisation. And they're so damn proud.

A lot of the people that I follow on Twitter write their tweets in Portuguese and I’ll use the translator on the app to read them (it’s a pretty good way to pick up new words tbh!) and one of my absolute favourite phrases that I see a bunch is when there’s tweets like “if *insert something that we really want to happen on the qsmp today but is pretty unlikely* happens eu dou o meu cu” which always translates to “I’ll give my ass” and I’ll be honest the translator can be a bit whack on there sometimes but if that’s not the correct translation I’ll cry because that is an INCREDIBLE saying. Like I burst out laughing every time I read it, I love it so much. Certain words and phrases from the languages on the QSMP have really stuck in my head and become part of my vocabulary through listening and reading them so often and this is honestly one of my favourites to come from reading. When it was still being figured out if Richas would lose his first life I saw a tweet that translated to “IF RICHARLYSON'S DEATH IS CANCELLED I WILL GIVE MY ASS AND SO WILL ANYONE WHO READS THIS” and when I read that I was like yeah I agree like this situation is intense I will give my ass if he gets to keep both his lives like there’s not really an English equivalent that is as hilarious and holds as much weight. What an incredible language

Random whumpy fainting stuff

From a person who passes out almost daily from dehydration and POTS

Fainting can be dramatic (eyes rolling back, falling to the floor, etc), but it can also be subtle sometimes. Even standing up, your whumpee could just sway in place a bit, eyes going unfocused and dilated. Maybe those around them grow concerned as they realize whumpee is unresponsive, before moving to touch them, shake their shoulder, and watching with horror as whumpee tips over and slumps to the floor.

When your whumpee is coming to, there’s often a few seconds where they are aware of and can understand everything around them, but are unable to move or talk. Just laying there, maybe mumbling something quietly or waving a hand at most, body still coming back online.

Whumpee catching themself passing out, deliberately breathing slow and deep in an attempt to not faint, even as they slowly feel their thoughts leaving them. The darkness fuzzing in on the corners of their vision and masking their surroundings, and the last, frustrated thought of “well, shit” as they sink to the ground, breathing exercises having failed them.

Alternatively, there can also be a few seconds after (before??) coming to when your whumpee isn’t cognizant of what is happening, but it appears like they are. They may sit up, even respond to a basic question, and then blink awake, completely disoriented at already being upright and moving.

Everyone around them freaking out, disorienting whumpee even further as they wake up to the concerned voices and roaming hands and prodding and questions. Whumpee attempting to brush everyone off, appease everyone, to just get away as they maybe stagger to their feet or curl into a ball.

This was sketched quite a while ago- and i intended to finish it with watercolours, but got bored.

So! Headcanons!

Luigi absolutely has adopted Polterkitty, (i dont think the game came out when i first sketched it, hense the lack of kitty!).

Luigi gets to keep thunder hand, as a treat, from the rpg.

Luigi also gets to keep his knowledge of mechanics from the paper games! He learn it before the events of spm, but thats where the ideas from. Hes verrry good at makiing machines (wings here- jusr becausw i like wings) but also the karts anddd umm probably some ghosty stuff with E.Gadd.

He kept Peasleys rose! Also Daisy gave him a flower too, so it wouldnt get lonely!

His room (study?? lab??? idk) looks messy, but Luigi knows *exactly* where everything is!

Luigi still sometimes grows leaves from his hair, primarily when anxious/excited.

Long hair and lighning earing... umm because im projecting, idk, i like it.

When ghost hunting, he often brings a respirator with him, particularly after the events of the hotel. Who knows when you might be breathing in asbestos or lead paint.

Completwly forgot about it in the digital colour- but he absolutely has hairy arms, no doubt about it.

Can't stop thinking of the tragedy of agents of shield and how yeah you can find your found family in a spy organisation but due to the nature of the work it's almost always bound to end in tragedy.

Daisy connected with Ward and he used her and betrayed her.

Fitz was her family and friend for 4 seasons only to end up using and betraying her and dying without any resolution, unlike Ward who she at least got closure with via shooting him.

Simmons was one of the people she trusted most for 4 and a half seasons, "us against the world" until the trauma warped Simmons to the point she could only focus on Fitz and would warp and justify anything to continue loving him. And unlike Fitz she didn't die so there was just this undercurrent for the rest of the show like I still love you and would die for you but I can't trust you the same anymore because I know you would take your husband's side no matter what he did to me. Sometimes it's just the two of us and it's like nothing's changed and other times you're selfish and self centered and willing to sacrifice everyone around you for Fitz. I want it to be us against the world but it isn't anymore. You chose and so even though I love you I need to move on.

Coulson loved Daisy so much. They were the central relationship of the show. But he died, and he's gone and it wasn't fully his choice but it's still one more original team member she's lost.

And then there's May. The final original member, the one Daisy had the hardest time connecting with initially. And now it's just the two of them. May stood by her and May died protecting her and May came back and is still there, just a phone call away. Daisy is off in space, doing what she does best in the face of a lifetime of suffering. She's fighting the good fight and helping people who need it and she's got a partner and a sister who she can trust and with no bad blood remaining.

But if they go back to earth for a pit stop or homesickness or for any other reason, she'll have May waiting for her. Daisy went from alone to the one on her team now with the most roots, a mother and a brother waiting for her every time she comes home to earth. Maybe four out of five times putting your hope and found family heart into your shady spy organisation coworkers ends in tragedy. But maybe that one time it doesn't makes it all worth it.
