It was a normal day walking around for Garcello

He was walking through a park by the city. Seeing as he didn't get out of the city much, it was a nice change of pace

All of a sudden, he heard some shuffling in the bushes

Deciding to go check, he followed the sound, soon finding himself deeper in the park

But he didn't stop, continuing to follow the trail because he could hear someone talking

And soon enough, he was in a clearing, looking around for whoever was talking

Soon enough, he found you, sitting there with a smile

You were absolutely enchanting, you had that kind of air around you that made him want to stay

You two ended up talking, and much to your surprised, you found this human quite charming

You asked him if you two could meet again, and was a bit shocked by his yes

Soon enough, he left the forest you brought him into, but the thought of you didn't leave his head

And the thought of him didn't leave yours

So this is gonna follow a similar plot to that Garcello one I wrote, where the reader ran away from home

Whitty probably found you hiding in an alleyway, sniffling and shaking

He was absolutely confused, like why was there a child sitting outside crying by themself??

He was careful in his approach to you, squatting a few feet away from you before gently asking what happened to you

You were really scared at first, but could you blame yourself?

This almost 9 ft. tall bomb man just. approached you out of nowhere, of course you're scared-

When you manage to calm down enough, you tell him you ran from home

This is mostly because you weren't aware of the "don't tell strangers your business" rule

He felt his heart crack a bit at that

Why the hell would a kid as young as you want to run away from home?

Then again, he too was someone who was running away from something, so he empathized with you a lot

He decided to ask if you wanted to stay with him, because he was a runaway too

You eventually agreed, and whoops look like Whitty adopted a kid-

He's definitely not used to having to take care of himself, let alone another person, so he gets nervous about that

He may or may not start putting your needs over his own, giving you his food or letting you sleep while he stays up

What can he say, he'd feel horrible if you had to suffer as much as he has

Makes sure to keep as you well hidden as possible so that the Greater Good doesn't catch you

He does notice that you tend to tense up whenever he raises a hand around you or raises his voice slightly

So, he eventually asks you why you do that

When you explain how your family used to treat you, the man is CLOSE to going ballistic

He only doesn't for your sake

He makes sure to keep track of anything that triggers you, often times giving you a hug if you do end up triggered

If he ever finds your parents...Oh boy-

Let's just say they're gone from existence :)
