In the words of my friends (the so called 'fantastically bizarre group of ruffians, ragamuffins and rascals') it "sure is a book" filled with "emotional landmines" which some are "still bawling [their] eyes out" over. If that's not endorsement I don't know what is.

[[ i (mod mell) have been working lately (AKA the past several months) on a neocities site for all things Life is Weird, most notably the wiki-esque thing i was trying to make in another sitemaker. this static wiki will have a lot of spoilery information in it, and obviously will be much more in-depth than [this page] ! but it will look WAY cooler and should be fairly responsive on desktop AND mobile :D

it's nowhere near done, and what IS being worked on isn't quite shareable yet imo, but i've been coding a lot and porting information into it for a while now. with this site, i'll also be able to host any non-linear story installments made using twine (program) without a fuss \o/ plus, it's another place to host the regular written updates, most important art, and other stuff!

in other news, a few days ago i got home from visiting mod nova for a month :} it was a good trip, and accidentally the longest one to date, oops ^^; now we're slowly starting a backlog of LIW story stuff again, though it'll take a hot minute to have enough for any of it to be post-ready. bear with us as we pull the curtain closed on episode 1, slowly but surely haha. please continue to read and reblog!!

i also hope to start crossposting the story onto pillowfort.social sometime this year, once their drafts & queue features are finalised. there's a lot i have on my plate wrt the AU, so we'll see when that actually starts, though it HAS been planned for a while now.

Progress!

For those who don't know, I've finished the Murder Drone Origins Alpha Version! So last night with a handful of folks, we play tested!

Also featuring remade wing textures made by @inv-kob, thank you again for making the wings for me!

This Alpha Version Contains the Following Origins!

Disassembly Drone:

+= Metal Wings: You are capable of flight, when flying, pressing "G" you can flap your wings

+= Skilled Hunter: You have increased movement speed and 6 more hearts of health

+= Unnatural Tracking: Pressing "H" allows you to scan your surroundings, and highlights all Mobs and Players in the area.

-= Restricted Armor: Natural Armor means you can only wear up to Iron Armor

-= Picky Eater: You cannot eat food, so you must kill others to survive

-= Overheating Risk: You will burst into flames when coming into contact with the sun, you will also start burning when your hunger reaches 0

----------------------

Absolute Solver Drone

+= Flesh Wings: These wings are not yours...but press "G" to fly with them

+= Size: You are smaller then normal [Same Size as normal worker drones]

+= Further Reach: Blessed with the Absolute Solver, your reach is greater then others

-= Picky Eater: You cannot eat food, so you must kill others to survive

-= Overheating Risk: You will burst into flames when coming into contact with the sun, you will also start burning when your hunger reaches 0

Worker Drone

+= Size: You are smaller then Normal, about 1 block and a slab tall.

+= Sheltered Life: You regenerate health by being in buildings and away from the sky

+= Tool User: You have a faster block breaking speed when wielding tools

-= Throw-able: You take higher knockback but less fall damage

But yes! There are some bugs here and there, but they'll be ironed out today at some point. Another large update to the mod will come in a few months, but for now, It's set! It's in 1.19+ and in 1.20+ currently and might have an official release when i feel like it
